I seen someone left a review about a caprese that wasn’t made correctly today. So I decided to order one when I arevived and it was the best one I’ve ever eaten. Mine was made wonderfully it looks and taste amazing! Covered in oil, balsamic and has basil I definitely recommend the caprese!
I'm so glad this place opened up here, it is a lovely addition to the town. Wonderful food, excellent and friendly customer service, and a very nice dining area. All with fair pricing. This is definitely the place to go in Kilgore for Italian food. There's also an excellent selection of desserts.
The food and service was excellent. “Chitwood” was our server and she was super. We had the Penne Ala Vodka with shrimp, Caprese Salad, Chicken Cacciatore and Tiramisu for dessert. Enjoyed it all! We will be back!
Food is excellent. Music is soft and makes you feel like you are in a modern Italian restaurant.
The food was amazing but what really made the night was One of your servers she wasn’t even serving our table, but she stopped by to make sure everything was going good for us. I think her name was Shey. She said it was her first night, but she was doing such a great job and was so sweet, wWill definitely be coming back!
Miranda was an excellent server! I ordered tge gnocchi and my husband ordered Shrimp & scallop linguine. We had the dipping sauce with dangerously delicious bread! The food was 👏 amazing! We will return.
This is the best Italian place for miles around. We have eaten at fine Italian restaurants before but none are any better than this. I love their lobster ravioli.
Venecia's never disappoints! My go-to plate is the chicken marsala, and it's not a proper meal unless you've finished it off with a piece of lemoncello cake! Service was exemplary, and our server was professional and attentive.
First off, my server Chitwood, was the best of the best. She could work at a Michelin star rated restaurant if she wanted to. It’s prom weekend and it was insanely busy. Lots of large groups on top of the regular dinner crowd. Chitwood was amazing in her communication of letting me know about the huge table just placing their order and it might be a second on my food. I was more than ok with it due to her bubbly personality and forethought of being courteous enough to let me know. She was attentive and sweet and the food was amazing. 10/10 stars! I’ll definitely be back and definitely asking for her.
Lovely Italian eatery with great customer service! Our waitress was super attentive, and stayed on top of our visit. The food was also very delicious, and there was free bread with our meals. You do have to pay for garlic bread, however, but it’s definitely worth the money. We loved the atmosphere & the great big windows overlooking part of the square in Kilgore. 10/10 experience!
Excellent Italian food!! Always eat here when I visit Kilgore TX!
This place is a Gem!!! Never expected Italian food like this from a small town in Texas! Absolutely zero complaints on the wonderful wait staff including the manager. Food was amazing and has garnered new patrons for life. Thank you Venecia! The only complaint was that the decor didn't match the cuisine as much as I would have liked.
My wife and I love Venecia's. We get pizza's at least once per week, and dine-in occasionally. We like trying a different Italian dish each time. The staff is always the best, the atmosphere is great, and the food!!! The food is excellent! The owners are always present so you know you're getting the best. And they're open late Tuesday - Sunday! We're so glad they are in downtown Kilgore.
This is my first time going and it was great experience. The waitstaff were quick and helpful and the food was amazing. Everything tasted like it was made in house. The restaurant was clean and there was plenty of parking downtown. I will definitely be returning here in the future to try the other menu items.
Nice selection of lunch specials. Miranda, our waitress was very friendly and professional. Our entrées were hot and delicious. I highly recommend ordering a dish of garlic and oil which to dip the warm bread. The background music was very pleasant and allowed for easy table conversation.
Omg this place is amazing , their food is so freaking delicious 🤤. Will be back soon!!
We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. It was absolutely delicious. We just couldn't quit ordering more. We started off with the Chicken Piccata with extra cappers. It was mouthwatering. I saved 1/2 to stretch it to the next day. (The attached picture is the 1/2 left. I was to busy eating to get the before picture.) Then we ordered the rolls with the dipping olive oil. The flavors were plentiful and perfectly balanced. We topped it off with cheesecake to go for later. You do not want to overfill and not enjoy your meal. Savor the flavors and the experience. Last and certainly not least, our waitress Sierra. She was on top of everything. She was helpful answering all our questions with a joyful disposition. After a stressful weekend, I felt relaxed and fulfilled by my entire experience. We look forward to returning May 1st.
Arguably one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. The atmosphere was modern and inviting, our server Kaylee was kind and attentive, and the food was superb. Easily the best Margarita pizza I've ever had. I highly recommend this establishment (opened this year) if you're in the area.
Excellent Appetizer-Fried Raviolis w/house made red sauce (best Ive had thus far) Main Entree- Chicken Florentine- Great Rolls were Perfect Zero COMPLAINTS TEA SPOT ON 50.50
The food is great! The service is great! The price is fair for most items on the menu and as a vegetarian, I had plenty of options. If you're in town and want delicious Italian food, look no further than Venecia's Italian Kitchen. I hope this restaurant is around for many years to come!
We visited on a Wednesday evening for dinner, our first visit since they opened. We will be back! I messaged them on Google ahead of time to find out if I could bring my own wine; they assured me that was fine, that the could uncork and that they have glasses. We each ordered a side salad. I appreciate that the salad was fresh and served on a chilled plate! We decided to split the Tour of Italy so we could try a few different things. We enjoyed them all! The bread is also nice. Very garlicky and soft. We split a cannoli for dessert…a perfect date night dinner! We will go back and try some more dishes.

Elizabeth was a great waitress! I am a very picky person when it comes to seafood and how it's cooked. The food was fabulous!
If you want a great Italian restaurant with great food and atmosphere (no loud talking…. Like it was in the old days) this is the place to go!! Prices are competitive and service is outstanding!! I highly recommend giving this place a try!!!
Friendly and attentive staff, and the food portions were generous and delicious! I'll definitely go back (though is an hour drive). I highly recommend!
I used Venecia's for catering of a wake with only a few days notice to feed 100 people. The delivery was at exactly the time we specified and the food was amazing and organized. It exceeded all my expectations and I would recommend them for catering to anyone. Even if I had a family dinner, I would gladly order a family tray. The rolls and dipping sauce were surprisingly the best part. We ordered the lasagna tray, Lobster ravioli, chicken fettuccini alfredo and tortellini with vodka sauce as our trays and each were amazing.
This is a great restaurant. Well worth the short drive from Longview. It is better than any Italian restaurant in Longview. We ordered the Calamari, Veal Piccata, and the Lobster Ravioli with pink sauce. Everything was excellent and cooked to perfection. If you haven’t tried it, you should.
Venecia's catered our company Christmas party. The delivery was on time; the food was delicious and was more than enough for our gathering. I can say I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed Venecia's. The food was really good and the prices were pretty typical for similar cuisine (Italian fine-dining). What we enjoyed the most though was the fantastic service. Our waitress was very attentive. Even when she had another larger party to attend to, she checked on us and had another team member help as well. Very good place to go to!
The food was pretty good. I had manicotti -- it was a little cheesy and I missed the Italian sausage that I'm used to in manicotti. The atmosphere was a little stark, but, it was clean. Our waitress was very nice, but, only came to check on us once -- when we were almost finished eating. All-in-all it was a good experience.
We ordered from door dash. The stuffed mushrooms and a supreme pizza. The only reason I didn't give the food 5 stars is the stuffed mushrooms were delicious but you only got 5 tiny mushrooms for $12.99. Why not make it and even 6 so 2 people can each have 3? If you're going to charge that much, definitely bigger and more. The pizza was good. Everything arrived super cold though. But again that was from door dash. That is my only complaint.
We stopped in for an early dinner. This was our first time at this place. As we entered, the restaurant was very nice. Although we were there relatively early, there were still a couple tables of customers already. We ordered the 16" Supreme pizza and bread an oil for the wait as asked by the server. The bread was very good but the dipping oil was terrible. It was olive oil with not much more than tons of minced garlic at the bottom. All you could taste was the overabundance of garlic. Also, this place charged $5 for the oil that is generally complimentary at most italian restaurants. The pizza finally arrived and it looked and tasted perfect. Great job on the pizza. We would definitely go back but would not request the dipping oil again.
First time we ate there. We had chicken alfredo which was excellent, grilled salmon which was excellent, and chicken with grilled vegetables which was very good. Portions were very good and total price for three of us was $75. The atmosphere was nothing great but adequate and the service met the minimum. But again the food was very tasty.
Literally crave their Chicken Piccata once or twice a week, so delicious. Everytime we come, place is clean, servers respectful, gentle music is fantastic. As locals, we frequent this restaurant often, with their lunch becoming a new favorite. Their wine list is decent for a small town joint as well!
We really like this place and I’m confident after some time they’ll be a solid 5⭐️. The atmosphere needs a little more.. just details to the chairs, walls, deco, soft lighting. It is on the cold side so maybe a little warmth. But, it’s clean and just getting started. The staff are amazing and friendly. The food is really good. We like everything so far. Very child/family friendly. Oh! The tiramisu is amazing.
The food is consistently good and I like that I can kind of create what I want off of the menu. Even if the food was just "okay", I would continue to eat here because of the family environment and the way the waitresses treat my toddler when we come in. I never have to worry if people will look at me weird if my toddler gets fussy during a meal.
First time here. Our son took use for a late 'mother's day ' dinner. Seated promptly. Very good service. Good food, in the perfect portion for me. Really like the decor. Nice and quiet, we could have a normal conversation.
Mixed review. Food and table service is always great. I recently ordered two family packs and a large pizza ($140+). Website stated salad and rolls were included in family packs. They would not honor this and charged me for a family salad in addition to the pasta and pizza. I showed a pic of the webpage and the guy stated that his square checkout (I guess that was the software program) did not show that it was included and would not include it.
We enjoyed our dining experience. The establishment was clean and well maintained. The service was wonderful and the prices were competitive. The food specifics... Crab stuffed mushrooms were amazing! Caprese salad was amazing! I do wish the salt had NOT been added. I know that's just a "me" thing so I can't fault the dish or creator. The spaghetti was not to our liking. It was kinda just like seasoned tomato paste. I would absolutely return and try some other dishes that didn't include the spaghetti sauce.
I was pleasantly surprised. The waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating, but they were very busy as well. It is a large open space with lots of tables and some booths. I would not call the space intimate, but the fare they offer was pretty standard for Italian restaurants.

This is the second time I’ve left this establishment underwhelmed. This time I Ordered spinach artichoke dip, it came out a milk soup, the entree was a Chicken Carbonara it came out with what looked like round ham from a snack tray a ton of black olives and a peppery Alfredo sauce. Highly disappointed. Won’t be back
I got a to go order and asked for a pizza I found on the website. The girl told me they dont have the pizza on the website and the site would not allow me to check out so I had to order over the phone. The price was $10 more than it showed on the website so I asked when I got there and the girl told me prices are more expensive when you call in but the price on my receipt is the exact same as what I entered online. I paid and left with my food and the food was really good but the pricing is not making any sense at all, maybe the website needs to be updated so their employees know whats on the menu.

It was pretty gross, I ordered a chicken Parmesan and another plate I can’t remember the name, it was a pasta. But pretty much was a supreme pizza without the crust. And I’m not meaning that in a good way…. The spaghetti sauce tasted like acidic tomato sauce with no flavor straight out the can. For the chicken parmasen the chicken was clearly a premade, frozen chicken patty , not fresh !!!! nothing authentic about this place , extremely bright lights, music playing like a bar and grill, overpriced !!!!!!! Especially for the flavor and ingredients . Cheaper just to make your own spaghetti at home that taste good. Only thing good about the place was the server she was wonderful.
Was there with 4 people on a slow restaurant night and got sat, after 20 minutes two tables sat down right beside us and instantly got there orders for drink and apps taken and we didn’t get a single person talk to us besides the lady who sat us.
Picked up a med supreme pizza.... where's the supreme? Very little cheese...sparse toppings! Not like it used to be. Zen is way superior to what we got!!
placed a $15,000 catering order. They have the option for tray or individually boxing items listed. I chose individually boxing these items as we need them for a lunch. Turns out they don't want to do the individual items. The catering service called and said the restaurant is cancelling your order because they dont want to do individual boxes even though they offer it. Cool. You've missed out on $15,000 and the additional tip that you would have received after delivery.
