Vibes for days 🌊 first timer here! 8 of us enjoyed Aurora's delicious brews and scenic outdoor setup over Memorial Day weekend to celebrate our beautiful bride to be. My favorite was their "ALL OUR PRETTY SONGS" (Helles Bock 7%) "A beautiful golden spring lager hopped with traditional german lineage hops poured from LUKR tap!" And it delivered!! Felt like I was back in Germany or Eastern Europe on a spring day. Soooo good and something unique compared to the IPA trend that's swept through upstate NY and the FLX area. Although...don't get me wrong, their IPAs are also delish 🤤🍻 Some of the other ladies really enjoyed Aurora's hand crafted cocktails. You really can't go wrong here and there is plenty of outdoor seating to truly relax and soak up the good vibes without feeling like you need to leave after a round or 2! And if you're a plant nerd like me, you'll also be swooning over their adorable little table succulents and fiddle leaf fig! it's a must if you're in the area, cheers!
Beer selection is great. I went with the Raspberry Wheat. It went perfectly with the Mexican street corn pizza we ordered. We also tried the "Moving to the country" pizza. Both were good. The soft pretzel with beer cheese is always delicious as well.
I’m not sure if I want to keep this a selfish secret or share. We’re visiting hometown with our dogs as we now live across country. We needed a dog friendly place. This is indeed dog friendly, but also boasts an amazing patio with shade and stellar views, and food that is amazing for a brew pub. This is going to be a regular stop anytime we’re visiting. And please bus your own table when you’re here. They work hard and won’t say anything, but I’m sure they’d appreciate the help. ☺️
Perched atop a hill with breathtaking views of Long Point Vineyard and Cayuga Lake, Aurora Brewing offers not just fantastic beers but a food experience well worth the trip. We tried the Caesar salad, pulled pork nachos, and the sausage and peppers pizza — and every bite impressed. The pulled pork nachos were the standout: a mountain of crispy chips smothered in silky white cheese sauce, topped with pickled jalapeños, green onions, tomatoes, and deliciously spiced, tender pulled pork — indulgent, vibrant, and perfect for sharing. Their woodfired sausage and peppers pizza delivered a hearty, satisfying bite, with a lightly charred, chewy crust, perfectly spiced sausage, and sweet roasted peppers. Balancing all that richness, the Caesar salad was a fresh, crisp counterpoint — with just the right amount of dressing and crunchy croutons, it helped lighten and round out the meal beautifully. Aurora runs a self-seated, order-at-the-bar setup, so grab a table first, then head inside to order. There’s indoor seating (which fills up quickly on weekends), but the outdoor seating is where the experience truly shines. With sweeping vineyard and lake views, it’s one of the best spots around to kick back with a pint, great food, and unforgettable scenery.
Aurora Brewing Company is a hidden gem in the Finger Lakes! My wife and I have been coming here every year since they opened, and it’s become a highlight of our annual trip. The location is unbeatable—stunning views of Long Point Vineyard and Cayuga Lake provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxing time. But what really sets Aurora Brewing apart is the food. While their beer is fantastic, the wood-fired pizzas, smoked wings (especially with their House Mix sauce—CS and Buffalo blend), and sandwiches are what keep us coming back. The chef and the entire team are on point every time. I’ve seen a few negative reviews, and frankly, I don’t get it. Maybe they had an off day or had a bit too much wine before stopping in. In my experience, this place is consistently great. If you're in the Finger Lakes area, this spot is a must-visit for both food and brews. Highly recommend!
This is probably my favorite brewery in existence. In every possible way. First, the beer... tons of options and all I've had a good to great. I'm not in to hoppy/bitter/high IBU beers and they have a few for those that want them, but they also have some of the best low IBU beers you can find. Crisp lagers, fruited sours and the best cream ale I've ever had. I'll often get a flight and they are all good. However, they usually have one predetermined flight and I'm not sure you can do a custom one (nothing that indicates you can) and I would prefer to pick my own. Hungry at a brewery? While most just have snacks, this place has a fantastic kitchen. Lots of good options, but seriously - you need to get the burger. Kind of a "Big Mac" in design, but high-quality ingredients and you can stack the patties. The patties are kind of small, but the "Quad" is only $4 more and SOOOOO worth it. Although small patties (get 4), the size just works and the flavor is fantastic. Cheeseburgers are my weakness and I've spent some time traveling for them - this might be my favorite. If this place was in my town, I'd be here weekly.
What a wonderful slice of heaven this place is... We went here for dinner and some beers right at sunset. The views were second to none, the pizzas were great (highly recommend the pulled Burrata and Arugula), and the beers were also delicious. Seems to be mostly self service ie. Walk in, sit yourself, grab your own menus and utensils, and order at the bar but that didn't bother us.
Beer is so flavorful and the descriptions couldn't be more on point. Each hop profile described can be tasted in the beer. Very unique and flavorful beers. Would highly recommend if you are a beer enthusiast. We tried anything from their IPAs to Pilsner to the Fruited Berliner Weisse. We also opted for some apps to go with our beer tasting as we visited late afternoon (chips/queso and fried pickles). Atmosphere was great, staff was friendly and I would highly recommend if you seek out breweries on your travels. We visited their Aurora location, but love that they also expanded to Rochester.
If you’re into hazy IPAs, this is your spot. If you’re not into hazy IPAs, this is still your spot. What was meant to be a quick stop just to “check it out” turned into a couple hours. The beers are definitely tasty. I was surprised at the full food menu too, everything was good. Good vibes all around overlooking a great stretch of scenery. If I lived nearby this would instantly be my everyday hangout. Dog friendly and kid / family friendly.
Great brewery with an exceptional view. A must see on the East side of Cayuga. Right next to a Winery and up the street from a great park for the kids. Beer is great, and there are a lot of different varieties. Love the space! Drink a point on premises or grab a 4 pack. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Wow, wow, and wow!!! LOVE this place. I have been to about 25 plus micro-brews up and down the East coast and this is one of the best breweries I have been to. Wonderful people who work here who strive for the best tasting beer one could quell your thirst. The views are fabulous and is a must stop!
Good drinks, food is as good as you would expect from the winery with the prices they have. Only thing I would say is oh my God the amount of flies. I get in the summertime that there should be a lot of flies and we should expect that. The amount of flies at this point I felt like was a little unprecedented, would think that they would have some way to capture flies or trap flies.
Great place with a stunning view of the lake. Beers are quite good, although heavy on IPAs but those are still the most popular style. Food is quite good as well and they seem to be working on expanding the kitchen and menu. I'm from Buffalo and finding good wings in the FLX region is rough, but they're among the best in the region.
Food is pretty decent, people are nice and responsive. When they mixed up the order, the waiter immediately acknowledged the mistake and apologized. That’s good! …But the food (pretty generic sandwiches, fried food) took around 1.5 hrs to get to our table. That’s preventing me from giving above 2 stars. If you visit at a less busy time, it should be a pretty good option!
For whatever reason, whether it was farmers fault or not, the flies were absolutely disgusting when we ate food last Thursday. I hope their event on Friday went well but I can’t imagine it did with the amount of flies covering every surface outside. Literally 15-20 flies covering every table and then when one of the service people tried to clean under one of the tables (took a bucket of water and tried to clean a dirty spot with a rag), hundreds of flies… no exaggeration. We ordered food and waited for it till come out. First came a pizza and we literally had to wave our hands over the pizza to prevent flies landing on it every milli-second. Other food came out after and it was the same. Maybe it “wasn’t their fault” or “something they did” but have you ever researched flies and how absolutely disgusting they are? You knew it was a problem and yet there was nothing indicating you were doing anything to mitigate the problem. Maybe you’d close your business and take care of the situation rather than let customers come and spend $100 to sit at your brewery for 1.5 hours battling flies getting into your drinks, landing on your food and disturbing your existence while paying your establishment. So incredibly inconsiderate.
