This place is always good. Especially when you hit up the buffet you can have a little bit of everything. Today I had pork ribs, meatballs, potatoes, and a side salad. It's really good homestyle food. I can I'm honestly say this, Mama Jack's is pretty consistent with the cooking and always packing flavor.

Visited family and this is where they took us for lunch. We found the cheeseburgers with fresh ground beef and homemade sweet buns to be exceptional. The staff was kind, the decor warm and we felt welcomed in an especially friendly Texas kind of way. Highly recommend!

We stopped here for breakfast because we wanted a sit down southern experience. Their breakfast buffet was amazing! They had eggs, bacon, sausage links and patties, French toast or pancakes, biscuits and gravy, fruit, and some of the best cinnamon rolls I've been able to enjoy! The service was great. They were fast and accommodating. The waitress was so sweet and helpful. The decor is a southern style fit for Texas! We just had breakfast but if their other meals are as tasty as breakfast was you will love it!

Small but well stocked buffet, very tasty food! And I'm not sure what the cake I had was (the one with coconut in it) but it was very good! Staff was super friendly and didn't batt an eye when our group of 15 walked in. Definitely worth the trip from Houston!

I have never had bad service or food from this place, top notch service every time! The food is always on point, and the Breakfest and Lunch Buffet can't be beat! I haven't been able to try the seafood buffet just yet, but it sure smells nice! UPDATE 3/26/19 They have finished expanding their new dining rooms, (See photos) added 3 additional restrooms and it looks great!

Great service with excellent food. We drove an hour and a half to experience the seafood buffet. It did not disappoint. We left full as a tick.

Stopped by as we were heading home from a football game. The lunch buffet was pretty good. The meatballs and gravy were amazing! The salad was fresh and the peach cobbler was very good, especially with a little dollop of vanilla ice cream. The hot foods could have been a little warmer, but I find that's a problem at most buffets. I wish I had known there was also a menu I could have ordered from, but that's not a problem. We would probably stop by again if we're ever in that area again.

When im going to the beach and leaving the beach this place is always packed so I thought I would stop. Saturday night is all you can eat seafood. To me the mud bugs had no spice..kinda disappointed. Fish was great. Fried crab was ok i, never had it before. Crawfish etouffee was great...the other gumbo looking dish was great...oh the fried shrimp was also great and okra..wish I could comment on the deserts I saw people eating but i was too full to try any. Getting older now and I can't eat as much as I use to! Now I'm eating less but getting fatter Tonight's meal didn't cause me to lose weight. Wish they had a price for a one time through the buffet. 35 dollars is kinda high if you can't put the food away. (They may have a one trip to the buffet, I didn't ask)

We at the seafood buffet, LORD yall over cooked the crab! It was dry and barley got any meat. Make sure to tell the cook not to overcooked it. The rest of the food was good xoxo

This place is for sure a local dive spot to eat. Gumbo, boudin, alligator…they have it all. Most everything is fried. Ha ha. If you wanna feel like a local and listen to some music and catch up on the happenings around town then this is the spot. Food is good, nothing fancy. Pretty much what you would expect from a place like this.

This has been one of our go-to places for many years. Not anymore. We have given it 3 chances since it has changed ownership. The food is nowhere near the quality that it used to be. The buffet is sparse the majority of the time. The food is all very bland now. There was a hair in my husband's salad. Thankfully the salad was immediately changed out as soon as he let the server know.The most disappointing part is that they even changed the cinnamon rolls and that was the best part. They are much smaller and so dry now with very little cinnamon, if any. I hate to have to take this little restaurant out of our rotation but unfortunately today was our last trip. We will certainly miss it

They were out of salad and mashed potatoes, had 1 chicken fried steak. Most of the food was at room temperature except for 2 vegetables. Quality of food was poor and service was slow. Very disappointing. Will not be returning.

1st and Last time we will be going there. $35.99 each we paid for Inedible food, it wasn't just one thing either. The best thing was tea, runner up was the 1 burnt crab cake. Now picking up firehouse subs Absolutely hate paying for food and not getting to eat it

We got there about between four and 430. The buffet table had been turned off. Nobody told us the food was not barely warm. The warmest thing was the mashed potatoes and gravy. I thought it was due to the cold air blowing inside until I got to the desert, which was an apple crisp When I bit down there was a piece of glass inside of it, and they never remove the balance of the tray they left it for another person to find something in it. I thought that was deplorable V person when I checked out, I told them by lol they needed to keep the food warmer than what it was and she said oh well
