Great place to eat unlimited pizza and salad bar for $9 bucks. Easy to get to, trolley right by. Old school pizza oven that makes the pizza melt in your mouth. Oh the owner is not cheap with the ingredients, these pizzas come fully loaded. By the way, there are additional coupons online to save you more money.

Great tasting pizza but customer service was where it really shined. Will definitely come back purely because they were so kind. 11/10

Pizza is always great here, friendly staff, the owner & his brother are really nice. We have been going there for about 12 years. One of my biggest restaurant issues is dirty stinky carpet and trying to keep that smell away from enjoying my food.This round table is clean that way. The only thing I could even try to complain about is the cook with the tribal ear thing going on. He winks at me in a strange way when I come in, I have mixed feelings about the possible code in that. He may just have terets or something so I won't say anything.

It looks like new owners. Store is super clean, tables are cleaned as soon as customers leave the store. The pizzas we're extremely tasty and cooked to perfection. Did enjoy revisiting this store after not seeing it for several years. I will go back

You know when you are seriously in the mood for really great pizza...like it's totally gotta satisfy that BAAAAD craving? We ended up at Round Table Pizza on La Mesa Blvd and I'm sooooo glad we did! Specifically this location (8032 La Mesa Blvd, La Mesa, CA) has the sweetest owner (thank you for the complimentary salad bar) and makes a perfect crust of not being doughy or too thin with the perfect crunch and loaded with toppings!! Toppings mountain high and all the way to the edge!! It was like a pizza lover's dream come true!! 😉 And we got to enjoy it sitting in front of a warm toasty fireplace on a cold rainy day!Officially an absolute favorite on my list and they just earned a loyal repeat customer.

This Round Table makes BOMB pizzas!! This is a great pizza place. Please help this business. They are doing a great job and using all of the latest Covid precautions. I would suggest ordering online through R.T. and either using curbside delivery or pick-up. My pizza was ready in 30 mins!!

This pizzeria is amazing! Their customer service, timing and promptness are hands down, the best in the business. The pizza is unlike others. Even the small shops. It's hardy, perfectly baked, not greasy and made to your order. I wanted extra garlic. Hell yeah, they delivered. Eat here says Dan! Edit 17DEC20: I ordered a different pizza than I normally do. This time it was a King Arthur's Supreme, thin crust, extra sauce. The bake was spot on. Thin dough and the sauce didn't make the pizza soggy! I ordered for a future delivery time and it arrived right on time. The pizza was so hot and fresh. The quality is as consistent as In N Out, if not better. Best comfort food for these cold days and having to stay indoors. Thanks everyone at this La Mesa location!

We always enjoy our favorite pizza here. If you are into healthy food options you need to try their specialty pizza, Gourmet Veggie: "An Upscale Veggie Creation. Artichoke hearts, zucchini, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, garlic, red & green onions on our Creamy Garlic Sauce." We order it with light cheese. Their crust is consistently flavorful, crispy edges and not doughy. Simply spectacular!

Super Bowl Sunday 😎... I grabbed 1 extra large pizza , 24 bone in wings with 4 different sauces and some mozzarella sticks...It was a game changer... It made the game and the halftime show that much sweeter... 🙌🏾🙌🏾

Our family has round table a few times a month. We used to order pizza hut and domino's, but no need. Round Table is fresh, delicious, tons of toppings and friendly faces in the store. The half off a large or x large when you buy two is our jam! We love it!

This place is consistently good. The crust is really good. I'm a creature of habit so I always get the All Meat pizza. Salad bar is a nice touch to add on if you're dining in. Nothing really special about the salad bar but it works. Everyone that I brought in said it was to pricey until they ate the pizza. Now they all want to go back. Good stuff!

Wow!!! I am on a quest to find the best pizza... I think I found the perfect pizza! This location really honors the name Round Table Pizza. Very clean, the employees are very kind and best of all, tasty pizza. They're very generous with the ingredients they put on it. Just moved to the area, and the staff were so welcoming! Salad bar is fresh and well stocked. The blue cheese dressing is fabulous! We like crispy pizza, so they made sure it had the perfect crunch. Plenty of toppings. Cold beer, clean utensils, plates, glasses, etc... we will definitely make this a regular eating spot.

I forgot to get the name of the gentleman who helped me. I was trying to use an online coupon, but unfortunately, that promo doesn't apply to so-cal. He was able to find me a much better deal than the one I was trying to use originally. Also, my pizzas were done ahead of time, too. For dining in here it's pretty cozy.

We got there before my order was done manager came to us with 2 beverage containers said drinks are on the house. Our order was done within 10 minutes it was my fault i didn't unmentioned i wanted deep dish pizza. The manager gave me a personal deep dish pizza. He didn't have to do that it was my fault. Manager and employees were very nice and professionals. Manager went out of his way to make sure i was happy and satisfied! Thank you for the great service. Now these days service is so aweful. My dad is visiting and walked by the place while I shopped and came to tell me that we just had to go because it smelled amazing. He said “he totally has that door opened because he knows how great it smells in there!” He wasn’t wrong and that rarely happens. We ordered our food to go and it was amazing. They even made us free garlic cheesy knots and said “I made you a surprise!” It was a friendly place and I look forward to visiting again soon!

Delicious pizza, but what made everything awesome was the person who took my order over the phone. Kameron had a warm and friendly personality. Helped us decide on pizzas efficiently. Very polite, great customer service.

Our GoTo pizza place. The ingredients here are fresh, the cheese is cheese and the sauces are damn near gourmet! The employees are usually pretty understanding and the manager/Owner gives a small hookup now and then to customers he recognizes. It's a small gestures like these that make us feel appreciated as customers.

I think they were in a rush to complete my order so they forgot that I paid for extra pepperoni. I’ll give the place an other chance hopefully when I go they’re not in a rush.

I don't know about other round tables but the one in La Mesa great pizza cannot complain I will definitely go back.

Never had a bad experience here. The lunch buffet is a great value. Their pizza is always fresh when ordered outside the buffet special.

Lunch buffet for my AZ family before heading home. We were all raised on RT. At first no options for non-meat eaters the the veggie heavy arrived. Packed full of veggies. One of the best I've had since converting. Definitely worth another stop when we are in town.

Place was kind of small but cozy. Came in for the 11 to 2 lunch buffet. They kept the pizza coming with a nice variety. Veggie pizzas to the Everything on them type. 8.99 gets you all u can eat pizza including salad and drinks. Employees where friendly. Roundtable makes good pizza.

Whenever visiting CA I always stop on my way out at a Round Table, since we don't have any in Phoenix. I've been to several, with all having different ways of making their pizzas. This location does the sauce and toppings correctly, but the cheese and crust and severely lacking compared to the Banning location and some others. The inside is kinda chaotic and messy, but is fine if you're grabbing to go. If I head back San Diego way, I'll be trying out the other locations. I tried this one due to its higher reviews than surrounding locations. This one isn't bad, just not like some of the other better locations. Very courteous employees.

They may no longer be the "last honest pizza", but they still produce a great product. The pan can be a bit too bready at times but they absolutely nail the regular crust pizza. It's probably too thick for new yorkers while too thin and not saucy enough for Chigaoans, but it's just right for locals. The garlic parmesan twists are a gamble, they're often huge but occasionally you open the box and it's like, "what happened here?". Still tasty, though. The best part is they have a pinball machine that is easy to get replays on. I typically leave 1-2 credits on the pinball machine because my daughter and I will play and hit the replays. If I had a complaint it would be that they like to close early but they usually honor last-minute online orders.

Round table pizza is fantastic, but go to another location. This place is small and very dirty; my gf was uncomfortable sitting in the booth. The TV was unnecessarily loud (not a big deal), but when we asked if they could turn it down, the person at the front got very annoyed, then simply shut the TV off. Weird vibes for sure!

Pizza is good but I can get my pizza elsewhere. The wait time here is horrible. Called in my order and was told that it should be ready in 15 minutes. Winded up being a total of 40 minutes. Got there and still had to wait. Everytime I come here I have to wait quite awhile.

The garlic bread sticks were amazing! The service and cleanliness were not. There were dirty tables all thru the place. One girl was working the counter, serving and cooking while the busser hid in the back, a manager had timecards and whatnot strewn all over the first table while another girl in Round table garb played on her phone behind the fireplace. This place is in need of a culture change.

Ordered ahead only to show up to find out the guy who took our order over the phone never actually turned in our pizza order :-( The girl at the register wasted a lot of time looking lost. I will admit I was a bit frustrated that it took like another 15 minutes before she decided they could start our order and we could wait for it. Like we had any other option? Never got an apology for their screw up but after waiting another 15 minutes we got a tasty pizza. Just a suggestion... I understand mistakes happen but a simple "we are so sorry, could I offer you a soda while you're waiting for us to make your pizza" would go a long way!

Went in for their lunch buffet... Can't explain it, but the pizza just wasn't that good. If your trying to fill up on basic food then go for it. But I remember round table when they did a meat lovers Pizza maybe 7 years Ago... That was a good pizza...

It was pretty good, the pizza was good as well as the salad. The reason for the 3 stars is because you basically get a tea cup saucer to place your food on instead of plates and bowls. I imagine this helps cut down on wasting food but come on! They consider a small soup bowl the salad bowl. They need to just get adult sized plates and bowls or just call it a tiny tot buffet so customers know what they're getting in to.

I live in AZ, but have such fond memories of Round Table. On a recent trip to San Diego we HAD to stop there and man was it mediocre. The once amazing salad bar is no more and when I ordered a side of ranch I received a prepackaged cup of Hidden Valley Ranch…I wouldn’t feed that to an animal. The pizza had great toppings but just was not the same in a very mediocre way…the Pizza Hut we had two nights prior was better. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. On a side note, the restaurant and restrooms were very clean and the staff was friendly.

Ordered a pineapple and mushroom pizza. They delivered a pepperoni and pineapple. It looked delicious but it wasn't what we ordered. They sent a new pizza and took the other one back. The 2nd pizza didn't have very many toppings and didn't look quite as good as the 1st. Probably try someone else next time..

Small. Staff was nice but, the pizza was just okay. Pizza quality seems to have declined over the years. Not bad for little kids though and actually, Round Table is still one of the better places if you do have little kids. Better pizza than Chuck-E-Cheese, just not as many toys.

That is also what our receipt says. Paid for pizza and left to get our errands run in the same shopping center. Came back about 20 minutes later and pizza was ready and safety taped shut, which is a good idea. I did not want to break the seal in the store so got pizza and my wife and I went home. We're ready to really chow down, opened the box and instead of black olives and mushrooms, it was mushrooms and very heavy sausage!!!! We really cannot eat that...ugh! SO we ate some because we do not want the drive back to Round Table to start all over again. I post this just to say your pizza is great but being accurate with an order is really important. We lost $23.00 which is a lot to seniors on social security. We hope to have better luck in the future Thank you for reaching out...we really appreciate it! We will always continue to be Round Table Pizza customers in La Mesa....great pizza and super nice owner and staff. Best Wishes and thanks again for reaching out to us!!!

I ordered through the app for a scheduled delivery first thing in the morning for the meal to arrive 15 minutes before the Super Bowl started. They had 5 hours to ensure my meal was ready and delivered on time. When the order did not arrive 15 minutes after the scheduled time, I called and found out it was not even cooked yet, stating they were "backed up". They should have had the foresight to know Super Bowl Sunday would be busy and mismanaged their time, causing my order to be 45+ minutes late. They have been late before with deliveries. I am very dissatisfied with their delivery service.

They changed the channel on the big screen before tha game started and when we asked them to put back on the game, they said they were to busy. Never been told or treated this way at a Round Table Pizza before, not very happy with them.

The delivery guy tried to scam me out of a hundred dollars it was a joke and then when I called the manager he pretty much didn't care and hung up on me.I gave the delivery guy a hundred dollar bill for the pizza he said he set it down to give me change it and it blew away which there was no breeze at all.he tried to get me to give him more money asked to see inside my pockets and ignored it when he was asked. finally he emptied one pocket and there it was.it took him 30seconds to dig out a few 1's a five and the hundred.he was obviously trying to keep the hundo in his pocket

Owners a jerk! We ordered all u can eat salad specified individual salads for four. We were given plates by the cashier. Upon serving the owner comes up and starts saying we didnt pay for salads just one. I mentioned he should explaining this to his cashier not me but he kept on and on about it. Trifling about it...then finally acknowledging the accountability of his cashier. Very unprofessional behavior I feel the whole conversation should of been isolated to his staff not the customer. The order was clear to the cashier who erred.

I used to be a big fan of this place/location. Recent order, crust tasted like cardboard. I called and it was replaced. I tasted it. Seemed ok. I wanted to like it. Crust wasn't done. It's changed. I was disappointed and will not order here anymore. 😞

I sat there to eat the wings, an employee came to the table right g t next to me.... spraying something like fabulous right there as I am trying to eat, that really very unprofessional, I mean come on! The wings were free of fluff, I got just wings and I loved that, but waaaaay too salty.

As a previous Round table manager I cannot believe this place. Boxes on the tables blocking where people could sit, the food was clearly not all the way cooked. So either the grate was moving too fast or the temperature was not hot enough. I'm moving towards the grate was probably moving too fast. There was stuff everywhere where it should not be and I mean everywhere. So there were delivery bags that were very dirty and visible, the spider webs being visible was gross, the dirt all over the wood on the salad bar was disgusting, the pizza cutter clearly did not know what he was doing and was totally backed up. He may have needed some help, whoever is doing the vegetables in the morning messed up the onions and they're not chopped right, the only reason I'm giving two stars is because the guy who brought me my pizza asked me if I need to plates and I consider that very good customer service. Otherwise I will never go back to this place and the manager should be spanked. I'm guessing the manager was the guy yelling at the top of his lungs at everybody in the middle of the restaurant which is very very bad professional ethic. All in all whoever the owner of this place is should fire the manager because he doesn't know what he's doing. I would take over for him but I'm in the IT industry now so.

Ive been coming to this place for the Lunch Buffet for more than 6 years. The staff is always friendly and the bread sticks are my favorite. I only gave 2 stars because I witnessed a very unsanitary act by a staff member. I was helping myself to a serving of pizza and what looked like a busboy came around counter and touched the pizza with his hand and walked in the back. The nice young girl working saw it and immediately pulled that tray of pizza and later apologized to me for having to witness that. Hopefully this wont ruin my experience here cause like i said in the beginning i been coming here for years. So hopefully the management team properly trains their staff on Food Safety.

First of all, the place looked like they were moving out, pizza boxes everywhere and the cutlery holders were empty. Second, the pizza was way undercooked. Whoever was making the pies wouldn't let them cook. Pizzaologist kept pulling and rotating the pizza every minute, not giving a chance for the cheese to melt or toppings and crust to toast. Lastly, this place could use a update... new TV, new carpet new paint. Looked like the 80s threw up inside.

I love round table! It’s the best pizza. This location, however is the worst! It’s dirty, dingy, cluttered, needs repainting, toilet is unstable….. and the people working there are kind of like the restaurant. It’s just a nasty mess and corporate and the health department need to get involved. They had one entire table full of junk, two tables and the sit down video game were covered in empty boxes and trash. There is no love here. What a shame that the owner has let it get this bad.

First of all, the place looked like they were moving out, pizza boxes everywhere and the cutlery holders were empty. Second, the pizza was way undercooked. Whoever was making the pies wouldn't let them cook. Pizzaologist kept pulling and rotating the pizza every minute, not giving a chance for the cheese to melt or toppings and crust to toast. Lastly, this place could use a update... new TV, new carpet new paint. Looked like the 80s threw up inside.

I love round table! It’s the best pizza. This location, however is the worst! It’s dirty, dingy, cluttered, needs repainting, toilet is unstable….. and the people working there are kind of like the restaurant. It’s just a nasty mess and corporate and the health department need to get involved. They had one entire table full of junk, two tables and the sit down video game were covered in empty boxes and trash. There is no love here. What a shame that the owner has let it get this bad.

Whats up with this place ? Went there last week and picked up order to go. Wife and I BOTH got really sick and I went back to let the restaurant know and see if others got sick. Got there and the place is closed ! Windows are papered over and someone working there said they were remodeling. I checked with the health department to see if others got sick recently, after I told them I couldn't contact the restaurant they said the store is currently closed for health violations! Now I think I should visit my doctor.

I asked for a personal pan pizza. I did not get a personal pan pizza. I got a regular pizza. I was not pleased. I did not put up a fuss though. I ate what i received without complaint. Will I go back there, no. Will i recommend it, no.

Son received a free pizza coupon from school with the words no purchase necessary written boldly on the front. the owner refused to honor the coupon without buying something. Funny thing was, my plan was to purchase a lunch for my self but I will not do business with anyone that wont honor their own word.

Just moved back close to this location used to work near! Always got a great pie! But this time the dough was raw! The worst pie I have ever had Super disappointed don't think we will be back! Would expect better for how much we spent on one pizza!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Wow. Used to order this all the time when I lived in La Mesa. In town, tried to order delivery, and got barked at like being a customer was a burden to the young woman on the phone. Considered driving over for their amazing pizza, but remembered there's hundreds of businesses struggling to stay open. Not today, guys.

I chose to drive further to a different Roy table after the rudeness of the gentleman answering the phone! First time I called and was asked to be put on hold and he never put me on hold I could here everything in the back ground for 20 min so I hung up and called again hoping to get a different operator When I called back he asked what I wanted I told him and instantly said ok we’ll see you when you get here, I said wait I’m not done yet.... no way were they going to make my pizza with that kind of attitude. He never even asked if I’d like anything else. Very bad for business!

Been ordering from them for over 15 years. They messed up on 2 pizzas in a 2 month span and I called to get my pizza done right. They brought me the pizza but they put me on a do not deliver status. They were the one's that messed up and delivered a burned pizza! I will never do business with them again. Its not as good as it use to be either. There's no Loyalty anymore. Absolutely no appreciation for a long time customer. The manager on call did not care or have any reasonable solution.

I have ordered from them many times with zero issues, but this time there was an issue with zero regard for the customer. I ordered online like I always do. The order was being tracked and said delivered, but with no pizza delivered. I waited 5 minutes then called. The employee got on the phone with the driver and said it was 5 minutes out. 20 minutes later I called back and the driver answered and said, "Oops. I guess I delivered to the wrong place. I will get the pizza in the oven and get it to you in 45 min." I said this was unacceptable and asked to speak to the manager. The manager said, "I can get it to you in 30 minutes." I said this was not good customer service, especially for someone who is a repeat customer and spends good money there. He offered to add on a soda. I declined and asked for a refund. If I were the owner of this store I would highly recommend training your managers to have better communication skills. I love round table but I will spend my money elsewhere with this type of behavior.

Went here tonight with my girlfriend because we had a gift card. Upon arrival I go to pick up the order and give the gentleman my gift card. Total was 48.78. He asked me how much was on the gift card. I said $50, he told me he was gonna give me a discount and then charged the card the entire $50 and then asked if he could throw it away. Well thats not sketchy at all. Must be the franchise owner. The food tasted good except the cinnamon twists were doughy and tasted like they were made of a cleaning agent. My order # was 7216430 just incase anyone from corporate wishes to validate my claim. I have the receipt showing that he charged me $50. Will not be back to this location. I will also forward this too the company as I want someone to look into this. Not happy at all.

Worst service I've had at a Round Table Pizza. I ordered a pan pizza online and when I went to pick it up it was original crust. I can understand if a restaurant no longer provides an item, but what is not acceptable is not letting a customer know before hand. They did refund me and provided no apology. Round Table makes great food but I just suggest traveling a little further to the next Round Table for better service.

This pizza is gross...there's no sauce on it. It's extremely salty, probably because there's so much cheese and grease which normally I would consider a plus but without the zesty sauce to counteract the flavor, it tastes like I'm trying to eat something way too salty and dry. I can barely get it down. I don't recommend. Also they close way too early just like every thing else in the area.
