We ate here for the first time tonight! Darrell wanted pizza the Meat lovers however, I’m not a Meat Lover. Don’t get me wrong I love meat just not that much meat on a pizza, so Darrell had lasagna and I had the eggplant Parmesan. Growing up Italian in a Sicilian home very picky about my marinara so I had mine made with pink sauce. There was an up charge . I’ve never been charged an up charge when I’ve asked for pink sauce but that’s OK we paid it. I have to say the eggplant was wonderful. The breading was flavorful and crispy. The eggplant was nice and thick. The pink sauce was good and there was plenty of pasta. Darrell said that the lasagna was okay. So if you follow me then you know what that means LOL. He really liked the garlic knots they were hot and fresh. I do like to dip mine in balsamic vinegar and olive oil I didn’t ask for any though. They didn’t skip on the pasta snd there was plenty of pink sauce! Just not enough mozzarella cheese on the eggplant which was a good thing you could really enjoy the flavor of the eggplant! I hope Darrell will want to try them again.

Delicious pizza at a great price! Sauce has good flavor, toppings perfect and the calamari are tasty! This is definitely our new go-to pizza place! Can't wait to try more from their menu! Update 1 year later. This is still our favorite pizza place and we won't go anywhere else! Everything has been stellar on every single order, from apps, to pizza, to pasta, to salad, to desserts!! We love it all!

Thank you to the lovely family who own & operate Alex’s pizza. We had a wonderful conversation with your Uncle (but we didn’t catch his name) he made us feel instantly welcome and catered to us like we were his own family visiting his home. The food was awesome. I have super high standards when it comes to Italian food and this is hands down the best I have tried in the DFW area since moving here in 2005. The bread was fresh and super soft and served with real freaking butter. The garlic bread with cheese tasted like my Dad’s and that makes me super happy. The pizza was huge. The crust was excellent and it was delicious. My kiddo had the chicken Parmesan and I kept eating hers while I was trying to eat my own wonderful chicken ala vodka. All in all our meal was fantastic. So happy to have a new place to share with loved ones!

Delivery was quick and efficient. 18 inch NY Style Pizza is on point, authentic, tasty. Italian food selection is also good and affordable. Calamari is thick cut so good balance of meat to breading. Black olives in the house salad is a nice feature. Cheese garlic bread yummm. Eggplant parm and chicken parm are winners. Leave room for dessert. Tiramisu, cheesecake, and cannolis. Give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

First time trying Alex and the pizza was pretty good. Very cheesy and flavorful. More on the floppy side for me, especially with the one topping pizzas. The works pizza with all the meat and green peppers held up better. The wings were very yummy though and had a great crunch. Overall a pretty good place for New York style pizza and wings.

Heavy Puka

Pizza was great but service was non-existent and we were the only ones in there. We sat in the booth closest to the fountain drink station for the best view of the NFL game playing above. Our pizza was sitting on the ready counter for 12mins before my husband got up to ask the cook if it was ours. The girl up front was busy on her phone the whole time we were there, so don't expect service inside. The pizza is good so we'll pick up a pie to go, next time.

It was our first time at Alex's pizza and pasta. We had spaghetti with meatballs and lasagna. It was the lunch special that came with a salad and bread. The meals were average in flavor. It was a good value for the money and the service was spot on.

Ordered pepperoni pizza with onion, manicotti, and the garlic bread with cheese. Everything was pretty good although the pizza dough isn't one of my top favorites. I prefer a thinner, hand-stretched and hand-tossed crust on my New York pizza. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The Stromboli’s were tasty and definitely a good price, but we got an order of shells and it was very disappointing to pay $14 and only get 3 shells (and they weren’t large).

The pizza is wonderful, but sometimes there's an hour wait for no reason. Last time I went I waited inside for 35 minutes after placing a pickup order 20 minutes prior for one large pizza....there was also no one inside. The girl cashier didn't let me know anything, I had to go up and ask after waiting and then suddenly my pizza was finished. Service needs to improve. A large group had came while I was waiting and 2 of the staff made a big huff about it....with an empty restaurant. I've also ordered delivery and whoever delivered threw the box on the ground.

I'm changing my 5 star to a 2 star. I ordered from Alex's and waited an hour before calling because our order hadn't arrived. The hostess told me they didn't have a driver and would call me back within a few minutes. I didn't hear from her, so I called multiple times, only to not have them pick up. I never received an update and waited an hour and a half before giving up. We have been loyal customers but will never order from them again.

Ordered a pizza near closing time. I asked the lady if it was okay and she said yes. Asked for a meat lovers pizza, got home and opened it up and I got what looks to be 3 different pizzas thrown into a box. None of them were meat lovers and some of it was cold. Have been eating here for a long time. Just disappointing.
