We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Arnold Palmer’s and it was one of the highlights of our wedding weekend. If you’re considering this spot for a special event, we can’t recommend it enough. We had 22 guests and started the evening with a 45-minute cocktail reception on the patio. There were high-top tables set up for mingling, a beautifully styled appetizer table, and a separate drink station. It gave our guests time to connect and ease into the evening before dinner. Dinner was served at one long table, timed perfectly with sunset. The setting felt warm, relaxed, and celebratory. Live music plays on the patio in the evenings, and it added such a great atmosphere without ever feeling too loud or distracting. The patio itself is gorgeous. It’s surrounded by lush desert landscaping, which creates a private and peaceful feel. What really stood out to me was the lighting. Between the uplighting on the plants, the natural light from sunset, and the soft candle glow on the tables, everything looked magical. I’m pretty picky about lighting and ambiance, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Amanda, who oversees events at Arnold Palmer’s, was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. She was organized, thoughtful, responsive, and just a genuinely kind and fun person. It felt like she truly cared about our event, and everything came together so smoothly thanks to her. Rebecca was our server that night and she was absolutely fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed with every course and drink refill. Several guests commented on how great she was. The food was excellent, just as it always is here. Everything came out perfectly prepared and paced, and the service from the whole team was top-notch. If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-run, and inviting space to host a dinner or celebration, Arnold Palmer’s is a fantastic choice. We’re so glad we chose it for our rehearsal dinner. It was everything we hoped for and more.

Great atmosphere, service, and food. Epic place to eat outside with friends and family. Ordered the poke, the calamari, and the tempura green beans for appetizers. All were tasty. The mains were equally as good. We ordered the Whole roasted Branzino fish, lamb rack, and the hamburger. All were fantastic.

5star such a great evening. Arrive to valet parking. With booking straight to table and service spot on perfection. Prime rib short ribs, filet mingot, salmon and shrimp ravioli w cake dessert ***** fantastic and high recommendations.

Fantastic experience with friends last night. From my Arnie salad to the New York Strip steak the food was excellent. Steak was a perfect medium rare. We enjoyed the Dooker the Boxer Shiraz which was so so good and a peanut butter dessert which was amazing. Try to hibiscus margarita for a starter, delicious. I think Briana was our server, excellent!!

Had an amazing dinner at Arnold Palmer’s. The outdoor dining area is gorgeous. We enjoyed the heating lamps throughout the area so we were not cold. The live entertainment was very enjoyable and made the dining experience very relaxing. Our server Corey is outstanding. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and was hilarious! I had the linguini bolognese and it was very meaty. My friend had the chilean seabass and it melts in your mouth like butter. If you’re a golfer you’ll really enjoy all the photos and memorabilia throughout the restaurant.

We all shared the tempura green beans appetizer. The chili lemon dipping sauce was so good. Excellent starter. I had the braised prime beef short ribs. Served with mashed potatoes and crispy fried leeks. This meal surpassed any expectations. Highly recommend. My daughter had the double cut pork chop. She said it was yummy and the apple chutney was delicious. They worked with my daughter’s dairy allergy and gave her a baked potato instead of mashed potatoes. The potato was so big she shared it. We were there on New Years Eve and the service was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. Plus we had a birthday at our table who was given complimentary cake and ice cream. This is a great restaurant for any occasion. If you are an Arnold Palmer fan they have a room filled with memorabilia.

The Ponderosa Running Springs

Yes Yes Yes. The classy Arnold Palmers in La Quinta is the PLACE. Ideal for foodies and drinks. Great place for a quiet date night or milestone celebrations. Right near Old Town La Quinta. Large patio area and occasionally some soft live music outside. Our group tried the Grouper, Mahi Mahi and Prime Rib w some flavorful mash potatoes, tempura greens beans, mushrooms and calamari. This was our first time at Arnold Palmer’s. We went for Valentine’s Day and our anniversary’s with another couple. I chose this restaurant as it was one of few restaurants that did not have a prix-fixe menu. They just had their regular menu that was wonderful! Great options. We went an hour early to have a drink in the bar and enjoy the evening. What a nice atmosphere. The bartenders were friendly and efficient. The martini’s were big and strong! Right at our reservation time they came and got us in the bar. They knew who we were! We sat on the patio! OMG! What great patio! There were tons of palm trees, a fire pit and a patio heater probably for every table. It was beautiful and warm. They also had live music on the patio. Our server Corey was great. He was efficient and attentive. As were the support staff. The Calamari was the best I think I’ve ever had! I loved the Diver Scallops with the Risotto. Also, ordered at the table was the Salmon, Meatloaf and Pork Chop. Everyone was very happy! The atmosphere was just beautiful. They also have complimentary valet service. We shut the place down after meeting our table-neighbors. They were fun. Overall, it was a perfect experience and we will definitely be back!

As a native Western Pennsylvanian, of course I’m going to already love the concept of Arnie’s classic, sophisticated restaurant. But WOW! We celebrated our anniversary on the patio last night, shared the surf and turf (filet, lobster tail) had an old fashioned, shrimp cocktail and everything was divine! Ambiance was a 10, service a 10, the quality and presentation a 10. ❤️ Highly recommend.

A good place to celebrate with birthday or any occasion. The ambience is quite impressive, the server very pleasant and nice they really taking care their customers Excellent service they have a beautiful patio the food was exquisite from the soup to desert beyond delicious the best food in town the drinks was a combination of flavors perfect. Our dine in was highly satisfied. The only thing my cretics was about the hostess they are lack of welcoming their guesses and wasn’t friendly enough coming in and coming out.

Friends recommended we try this restaurant. Expansive patio for outdoor dining but a somewhat limited menu left me unimpressed. The biggest letdown was the food. I’ve enjoyed better meals elsewhere at far less cost.

We all agreed that the food was terrible! Nothing tasted fresh. We all ate the bread since the ribs, the steak and the fish weren’t good at all . It almost tasted like an old buffet. Too bad because I was hoping to like this place

We have dined at Palmers before. It was our favorite place. This time, my husband said dontt think we need to come back. My seadood dish had so many shallots you coyldnt enjoy the branzino. The filwt had a strong sauce you couldnt enjoy the steak.

My dining experience was really good, until I got my entree. Appetizers and salads were great. I ordered the strip steak, medium, with a side of horseradish cream. My steak came out completely raw and I got a side of plain horseradish. Nobody seemed to notice or care. Overall, I’d give it a 5.5/10.

Food was bad, just Sea bass and some parts of Cauliflower steak was eatable!!! Too expensive for those food quality!!!!
