Absolutely 100% loved the Crèche Restaurant in La Thuile. Lovely service, food impeccable, truffles on pasta, very tasty!!! Loved our children, offered them spaghetti bolognase and Ice cream to finish with. Truly delicious traditional Tiramasus. We will definitely come back again. Great atmosphere and super attentive staff. Great team, great owner, lots of charm and warmth.

La Crèche was the favorite meal of our family’s week in La Thuile. The staff were genuinely trying to create a good experience for each table and it was palpable. The menu was small but each second course dish came with a small salad and potatoes. We ordered a salad with pasta dish and it was generous and hit the spot. I would highly recommend making a reservation here.

Having visited the area between summer and winter season it was difficult to find places open. La Creche apparently is open all the time. Lovely food from a small menu, good service and pleasant atmosphere. Will certainly call in again on our next visit.

Exactly what we were looking for! Great food, romantic atmosphere and friendly staff. We took 2 pasta dishes, they aren't big but taste really good! And 1 dessert (amazing tiramisu) and we were sorry that we did not have more space in our belly for more.

Alla fine si lasciano voler bene… Alla qualità dei piatti, che non si discute, abbinano un servizio abbastanza fuori dagli schemi, ma è altrettanto vero che ammetterlo, offrire dolce e caffè, non è cosa da ogni giorno. Grazie!!!

Locale molto accogliente tutto in legno stile baita, personale molto gentile. I piatti molto buoni soprattutto quelli tipici e servizio veloce. Prezzi nella norma considerando la meta turistica in cui ci troviamo. In ogni caso avendo prenotato con TheFork abbiamo avuto uno sconto del 20% e lo scontrino a conti fatti era più che onesto.

Arredamenti davvero molto ricercati in stile montano, con ampio uso del legno e della pietra a vista, rendono questo piccolo locale molto accogliente e raffinato. Le portate, generose e di ottima qualità, sono inserite nel contesto loco-regionale ed accompagnate da una buona carta dei vini. A corredo di tutto questo ambiente casual chic c'è l'eclettico e spumeggiante titolare che trasmette ai propri convenuti un connubio tra la passione professionale per il proprio lavoro alle sane 4 semplici chiacchere di paese.

Un ristorante molto accogliente con piatti tipici della tradizione valdostana. Una tartiflette veramente deliziosa e ottimi antipasti.

Food was delicious - cheese and charcuterie board with top quality local produce, followed by the ravioli for me and the venison tagliatelle for my partner. Simple but extremely good. Nice wines to accompany our food. Service was a little on the slow side with seeing if we would like drinks (we felt like we were chasing them), but friendly nonetheless. A very enjoyable meal.

Cozy option for lovely traditional menu. I've given the service 4 instead of 5 stars as we were charged for an entree that we didn't order and weren't served. I'm sure it was an oversight but as we only had two dishes and wine and the restaurant wasn't full, it should have been checked, especially when they asked if we were sure!

It was just... ok. Maybe my expectations were a bit higher because of the prices but the linguini with pieces of meat just didn't work well. Menu is very limited so I expected everything should be delicious but was disappointed. Purtroppo non ci ha convinto molto questo posto. Ci siamo andati con buone aspettative sia per le recensioni sia per i consigli di amici, ma purtroppo siamo rimasti delusi. In primis, appena entrati abbiamo sentito un forte odore di fogna che ci ha accompagnato per tutta la serata, rendendo la cena a tratti parecchio spiacevole. Il menù cartaceo è veramente di cattivo gusto e non comunica molto valore purtroppo. La scelta dei piatti è minima e soprattutto i prezzi sono molto alti. La qualità del servizio è molto approssimativa se non improvvisata, abbiamo avuto la percezione di una gestione non molto professionale. I piatti erano medi, si presentavano abbastanza male, serviti con poca grazia. Il sapore era buono, ma non eccezionale e soprattutto non allineato ai prezzi chiesti. L'unica cosa davvero buona era il pane croccante e servito tiepido. L'ambiente è abbastanza anonimo, carino in quanto è in una casa tradizionale ma arredato e gestito in modo poco accogliente.

Very limited menu, average first course and desert. Main course only 3-4 dishes and even with that they could not get it right. The beef filet tasted bland and like an ice hockey puck (even after asking for a medium/rare) - you will need a chainsaw. Desert was tiramisu - what came was whipped cream with cocoa! Overall disappointing. Service is good and the restaurant has a nice mountain vibe. the owner tried best to make things right so extra couple of stars. If it is beef filet you are after try Pepita restaurant just up the road.

Locale molto carino,antipasto di assaggi di affettato e formaggio buono ma ovviamente non richiede cottura ne preparazione e fortunatamente i prodotti erano di qualità, il lardo se lo volete servire sarebbe delizioso su crostini caldi!!! primi piatti fatti con cibo di bassa qualità e preparazione inadeguata quasi disgustosa ,ogni ulteriore commento è alquanto inutile! Aggiungo che dal nostro tavolo all'interno faceva molto freddo e oltretutto si sentiva uno sgradevole odore di tombini di scarico,disgustoso.

Siamo ancor in dolce attesa di ricevere una fattura sollecitata diverse volte, piatti discreti, servizio abbastanza scarso, assurdo lasciare il piatto di un bambino di 3 anni per ultimo. E' normale che al sabato sera ci sia molta gente, ma non è normale gestirli cosi. Peccato perchè nel complesso il cibo era anche buono.

Purtroppo entrando nel ristorante si avverte una puzza di fogna veramente insopportabile. Chiesto ai camerieri di cambiare tavolo, hanno prima negato e poi ci hanno proposto un tavolo dove la puzza era ancora più forte. Tre tavoli di fianco a noi si sono alzati e sono andati via per il cattivo odore, la reazione dei camerieri è stata ridere. Abbiamo comunque cenato lì per la fame e perché erano tutti occupati gli altri posti, preso tortelli ai finferli che non sapevano di niente e tagliatelle porcini che invece erano meglio.

Extremely cold place we had to wear our ski jackets while dining in order to keep warm. Also there is a nice long menu outseide but the actual menu is completely different with very limited choice. Worth noting the soup of the day costs 15 EUR... same price as most of the mains. Is this a joke?
