It's In-N-Out, that's what a hamburger is all about. Their menu is simple and tasty at a reasonable cost. I love the double- double "animal style". If you haven't tried the burger or fries that way, you are missing out. I believe all their locations are good, with that being said some locations are better than others. This is one of their best location. They are good, consistent and extremly fast. Don't let the long lines scare you away.

My wife and I normally get a double double cheeseburger and fries slightly light. This in and out fries the custom fry request perfectly! Slightly light fries is the way to go for not overcooked, well done fries that In-N-Out seems to default to these days.

This location might be a little bit further than others but totally worth it as the burgers always seem a bit fresher and the food well prepared. They also have a great view when you eat outside but ample seating even at busy times.

I just had an amazing experience at this In n Out. Out of this world service. I took the drive through and was treated so kindly. I felt as if each employee was doing their best, choosing to be in a high frequency state of being. Thank you.

Everything was great. I only had one problem, and it wasn't INOs' fault. The truck in front of me ordered enough food for an army, so when I finally hot mine, I had to wolf it down since my lunch was almost over.

Tip notch service, very fast, very friendly, and very delicious. The lady on front of me was very disrespectful to the cashier, but he handled the situation well and was not affected by her ramblings on "tone of voice," and "respect." The cashier was in no way offensive, and was VERY friendly, cracking jokes left or right. I guess she took a joke seriously and was so insecure about herself, she felt the need to try to degrade him. She left promptly after receiving her food. Great establishment and staff.

Visiting SoCal and our first time eating a In-N-Out. The staff was very friendly and the cheese burgers were really good. I wish we had one here in North Carolina.

It’s In-N-Out.......need I say more? I will say that they have a pretty good set-up regarding drinks. Unlike some of the other fast food restaurants , In-N-Out gives drink refills. On another note for all of you who prefer the drive-thru....... Walking inside and ordering your meal is much quicker than the drive-thru !

There was a drive-thru attendant who was very helpful when asked a question. In a nutshell, thanks to this attendant, I now know that there is no difference in price when ordering combos vs ordering individual items. I probably should have picked up on that notion as now I realize every time I have gone to pay in the past, my order was read back to me by type of item and quantity, not by combos. All this to say, in the future, it might be easier for me to simply order for my family by type and quantity instead of combos.

My favorite fast food place. Best fast food burgers anywhere. Fresh cut fries, so don't let them sit in the bag to long if you take to go. Fresh everything. I don't give give stars to fast food if that means anything.

It was cooked fresh and came out hot. The service was fast and very friendly. They get long lines sometimes but they always find a way to be fast. They have people outside side taking orders. That's why I keep going back. Plus the burgers are fantastic!!

Place was packed and only a few people were let in at a time. Morgan realized I was not there for the “atmosphere” and was quick to help me and made sure I got what I needed. Two thumbs up. I recently had the pleasure of dining at In-N-Out Burger late at night, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations. Friendly, polite, excellent service, great burgers as expected from this chain. This is probably one of the most chill and relaxed locations. Rarely experienced the overcrowding or long lines. Super clean with a nice view. Never had a negative experience.

I showed up a few mins after they closed, at other in & outs when I’ve done that they’ve been so mean about it. But this dude was nice & he even gave me some fries. Also I once forgot my wallet after ordering in the drive thru, I was insistent on going to get my wallet and coming back. They were super nice and insisted I just take care of it next time. In-N-Out Burger in Rancho Mission Viejo is a great place to get a delicious burger. The burgers I got today were seasoned well and the fries were really well done. I love how the ingredients are fresh and they are always made just in time when someone orders. I would recommend coming here if you’re looking a delicious burger!

I love this restaurant. For a little over $3 for a cheeseburger is pretty amazing. The stuff is always so cordial and they will brag about how healthy the meat is and how there is so much care in the preparation of all that goes into a burger or any other choice that you choose. It's a little noisy inside if you're going to dine in. Otherwise the service and the staff are terrific and the burgers and fries are really good.

I had to order 12 burgers, 12 fries for a crew of contractors today, but a female employee at the entrance was telling everybody that they had a plumbing issue and wouldn’t be fixed for a 1/2 an hour. Well they opened after 1/2 an hour and female employee was VERY helpful and I got my order taken care of right on time. I really appreciate the customer service!

Unlike the San Clemente location this particular In-N-Out was great. Well staffed by friendly and efficient servers and order takers, plus a very clean well designed dining room. Plus, no as usual, the best hamburgers in the explored universe

As far as In-N-Outs go, this is another one. But it was delightful to find a slightly different layout and bigger bathrooms (a little bigger). And the view is pretty solid too. I’d give 6 stars if I could, but that’s because some girls were eating here in their bikini tops and it was awesome.

Well folks, it's In-N-Out, so you know you're getting high quality, consistent service, and the menu that everyone west of the Mississippi knows by now. This is elevated fast food. Nothing about In-N-Out is reflected in your experience at other establishments in the same category, save for maybe the speed with which you obtain the goods. This location is a newer one, and can get busy. However, the drive through is well designed for super long lines, and the staff is adept and quick at adaptation to fast build-ups. A well-trained bunch for sure! Recommended.

In n out is always good. It doesn't matter what time of day or which location you go to, it's more consistent than any burger place of this caliber. Everything on the menu is great but my go to is a double double with grilled onions and chilies and an animal fry.

The drive through takes a cool minute. Offers walk up and order, no dining. But its faster than sitting in the drive through line. If you walk up, be prepared for a ton of high school kids. Nothing bad (where else do you go during these times?)but be aware. All in all you're out the door in ten minutes, so who am I to complain? Lol they're awesome no matter what!

Alexander Co is an excellent example about everything right at In N Out! Awesome service and taught me I can purchase gift cards in drive thru - Winning! My pup is as big a fan as I, LOL. See drool in picture in anticipation for that no salt puppy patty! They are super efficient, always 100% accurate, guaranteed fresh deliciousness … what’s not to love?! At the bottom of Ortega Mountain and in Ladera Ranch. This location is managed well!

My experience was excellent. I went at about 4:30 pm agter I got off work and the line wasn't even long until I got to the front where I picked my food up. Very clean, and very organized. Located in the Gelsons parking lot on top of the hill, its visible from Ortega Hwy. My double double was cooked to perfection. My fries, excellent. I'm definitely going to hit this place again on my way home from work.

This in n out is super good, it’s kept super clean and it’s also brand new. All the workers here are super nice and my food came out fast and tasted super good. Parking is a bit of a problem during busy hours but other than that no issue at all.

I’ve been to several In-N-Out locations, but this one is by far the cleanest, least crowded, and has the shortest wait times! (Though to be fair, I usually come on Monday evenings, which might help.) With prices going up everywhere, it’s hard to find a place where two people can enjoy a full meal for under $20—but here, it’s still possible! Personally, I prefer sitting indoors, but if you enjoy a refreshing ocean breeze and a wide-open view, I’d definitely recommend trying the outdoor seating too.

Any time I have guests in from another state this is a must-try, usually they are asking for it. Great company, great product.

Brand new In-N-Out with a drive thru, large dining area and plenty of parking. The best location in Southern California. A perfect location to enjoy a double double and animal style fries. There is also outside tables. The dining area is large with booths and tables. The ketchup station has yellow peppers to add a little spice to your meal. There are bathrooms inside and everything is clean. The employees are super attentive and fast.

It's in and out. Burgers are really good. Was in the drive-thru and it was very quick. The staff was very attentive and got my order correct. I was impressed with the quality of food that I received. If you're not getting your burgers animal style then what are you doing?

I love love love in-n-out, but this particular location has very entitled workers when I order at the drive through. Not all of them , but 9 times out of 10 they seem like they rather be somewhere else. This happens so often that I drive to the one on Carlota instead. Today was different though. Eric was so kind, greeted me, responded to my greeting, and repeated my order. Delaney and Caleb at the window were super sweet. I am giving this place another shot.

Never before in my life have I been to an In-N-Out Burger and boy oh boy was it quite the experience. Pulling up to the drive thru, there was a sign that read "No hog cranking allowed brother" and that was kind of a sad thing to hear, but rules are rules. Anyway, the food was immaculate and the service was top-notch. The man who took my order had a button on his shirt that looked like a big "C" so I asked him what that was about. He said it stood for the Carbonaro Effect, the name of a hidden camera magic TV show, like the one you are on right now.

This location was pretty amazing but last few runs their food was overall pretty salty. I would still go there because I love In-N-Out but hope they should do some quality check.

The food has slipped to just average. It's better than the standard burger places, but just average overall. The other thing I experienced was tiny pieces of fries, not what French fries should be like!

Three words ... busy, crowded, packed. I have been to many In-N-Outs before, but I have never seen a drive thru line so long ... over 20 cars, probably more since it curved behind some buildings. We opted to park it and go in. Crazy and loud inside. Thank heavens for the quieter outdoor seating. Food was okay (cold fries), service was fine (needed to beg for extra spread), and not worth the insanity. Newer location, maybe someday they'll get it better.

35 years ago this place was the best. That was 35 years ago. The patties were not thick then but now they are so thin you can almost see through them. They advertise "never-frozen" beef but the quality/grade of the beef frozen or not, is not that good. The protein-style burger(lettuce in place of a bun) is cool and a nice change if you don't mind spending you afternoon waiting in line(haha). There are just too many good alternatives that have cropped up over 35 years.

Why are iconic menu items consistently bad at this specific location? No one in line behind me…no one. “#2, chocolate shake, fries well-done please” Repeated back perfectly by person taking order, person taking payment and person handing order over window. Fries are pale and soggy. If they were “fried twice”, they must have been soaking in cold oil for round two. Burger, dry and small. Shake? Practically soup when it was handed to me. I do not understand this Gateway/MV location. Embarrassing to the In-N-Out standard.

Wait time is scary. I ordered 1 cheesburger and one shake...register clerks are nice, kitchen crew and manager are with no compassion. They serve first drive thru customers and you wait for your burger inside forever. Left without food, took the shake because no one cared except register clerk who didn't have any power. I guess the lady from the kitchen was the boss. Will not be back..

We came in an ordered 3 burgers, Valente took our order and he was great. But when it came to getting our order it took ~30 mins… the cooks were loud and obnoxious constantly yelling for an untaken order number. I noticed Fed and another male cook and the counter person stare at my food with smirks as it was handed to me, making me suspicious and very uncertain of my order and in n out rsm in general. Displeased with my experience this evening. Not coming back in fear of food tampering as it tasted strange and unusual from my typical experience with my order (always the same).

MORE BUN AND LETTUCE THAN BURGER It’s been a while since I had a burger from here but what I got last night was nothing like I remember. The bun was huge and hard. The patty was so thin I could barely taste it and I ask for cheese and grilled onion. I searched for it. again so thin I’m not sure it was really there. The young people were friendly which is why I gave 2 stars. .

Never thought I’d give an In-N-Out a poor review, but this location consistently screws up especially when it comes to milkshakes. I’ve worked fast food restaurants, so I understand mistakes are bound to happen, but the hot chocolate my nephew got was literally just hot water.. I’m just irritated that an employee actually made that and thought it’d be acceptable. you guys get paid fairly well, so at-least try to do a little better than that. I don’t know if it’s just the midnight crew, but I’ll definitely drive to the one off Avery from now on.

Drive through attendant gave me my order incomplete missing multiple items, didn’t find out until home. Please do a better job checking the ticket to the order contents to make sure it’s all there so I don’t have to do that part of the job for you.

I usually only leave a negative review after multiple issues, cuz everyone has a bad day. The service at this In N Out is great but whoever is in charge of making french fries needs re-training or replacing. Been to this location often and they just have terrible fries. They are hard, sorta like frozen fries just not cold. You just have to throw them out. I love in n out but....you gotta make better, softer fries.

As a 911 first responder, I was left very disappointed after my experience here. Came here for my lunch break and I cannot believe it took them 30-40minutes to get my simple 1 double-double and 1 fries. Apparently my order was lost and if it weren’t for me for checking up on it, I would have never gotten my food. First confrontation about my food, I was told that my food will be coming up immediately and they were nice enough to offer me a complementary milkshake. As I was waiting, I see like 10+ burgers and multiple orders being called out except for mine. Second confrontation, apparently there was major miscommunication and the cooks were not even making my order… had to wait another 5 minutes standing near counter just so they can’t forget again. I kept my emotions and feelings out of it and did not give a show but this was greatly disappointing since my order was simple, had me waiting longer than everyone else. This was a huge inconvenience since we only get 30min lunch break. Luckily there was no 911 call needed at the time and I was able to have my empty stomach filled up. Hopefully the staffing here gets their communication together and better. Very disappointed again. First time ever having this experience with In-N-Out and better be the last….

Went through the drive thru, fries and burger were barely luke warm. Shake was barely cold too. Big fail, this isn't rocket science In n Out. 9/29/2025: again, cold food from the drive thru. Get your act together.

Ordered and paid for fries. The container was less than half full and filled with crispy rock hard fries. The food quality is something I would expect from a gas station, not an In-N-Out.

This was truly the most disgusting experience of the night. We arrived at 8:30 and got into the back of the line outside. We were calm and excited to have a perfect fnl experience. But we soon were pushed out of the way, yelled at, and ignored by the other people. The worker George was manning the door and saw that we were next in line. All of a sudden a new group forces their way in front of us and George just lets them in. These new people started pushing and screaming profanities at the workers and us. We were pushed so hard we had to leave out of fear. This was the most disorganized and chaotic experience I have had at this restaurant. I hope that this can be a learning opportunity for all of those involved. We soon went to the other San Juan location and were properly served.
