Came in here for a quick pho bowl during my lunch break. Ordered an XL bowl and was surprised at the delicious flavor of their broth. Came out to about $14 and was very flavorful. Service was very quick as they was very minimal people inside when I visited. Very spacious restaurant.

Ok to begin I've been going here since I was 5 or so I'm told. I'm 27 now. I'm going to try and be as honest as possible while also giving my opinion so here goes. To start if you're looking for low fat pho go somewhere else. Golden noodle in West covina might be more your alley, which is also pretty good. The pho here is heavy; you can see the fatty oil in it. With that in mind it is delicious and a great pick-me-up. Feeling hung over, have a pho. Feeling sick with the flu, have a pho. Need energy cuz you're tired or had a late night, have a pho. This place was made for the everyday laborer, heavy worker. Unfortunately like all pho, you will get hungry after 3-4 hours. I have tried the egg rolls and they're good. The 42 and 32 ( same dish one had noodle the other uses rice) are also good... Caution they are hotter than the soup. You can order a chicken broccoli with rice which is nice and plain. As for service, they're straight to the point. They aren't mean they just want to get things done as quickly as possible. They aren't going to rush you to leave either but they will pick up empty plates and clean up around you. They like to have the tables be clean. Which is hard considering the customers (lots of mechanics and similar professions..been guilty of this). The atmosphere... Well umm there are 4 walls....the tables...the chairs...a tv that may play sports if anything is on that interests them (usually soccer or tennis..it varies)...pictures of the food on the walls....yeah there's no "atmosphere". You sit down and you eat. And it's been that way since I remember. Restrooms are usually kept pretty clean. I have seen a few times people leave mess behind but they do a good job of keeping clean. Some reviews on here have mentioned that utensils and dishes have had residue on them and weren't completely spotless. Honestly they're right. Wanna have a good time, don't pay to much attention to details and you'll be fine. I have eaten there for years and have never gotten sick there. Forks have generally been pretty clean. The bowls as well. Cups and chopsticks have had some residue on them but I've seen that at applebees and others as well so ehhhh it's a restaurant you want spotless dishes good luck. It's disinfected so it's good enough. With all that said I love this place and will continue going here. If possible dine in... The pho is never the same if you take it home. Oh and it's cash only

My new favorite Pho place to eat! The Pho Tai is authentic and delicious, best I've had in the San Gabriel Valley. The vetinames coffee is on point,it's extremely rich and tasteful.I will drive 40 minutes to come eat here!. The staff is kind and courteous. The aesthetic is outdated but it gives me San Francisco Pho Nostalgia .

E
Ed P

Been going to the Pho since 2005, they are fast and the food is great. price is very fair. You will be served within 3 to 4 mins. They have the best Pho comparing other cities: Diamond Bar, Rowland, Hacienda and La Puente. Please don't judge the area because they share the same plaza with Stripe Club.

S
Stephanie Lin

Delicious food, generous portions, affordable price. This place still serves shredded pork. Yum!

C
Cynthia Barajas

This place has been around for years. Been coming here since I was a child. It's now my son and husband favorite Pho spot. The staff is not always the most welcoming. If Juan is there you set he's very friendly. Best Pho in LP

S

This place does not change, it has been looking the same for the past 20 years. But it's not a bad thing though, if you want some good pho, good customer service, and a meal that doesn't break the bank. This is the spot.

C
Christina Frank

R

My family has been coming here for decades, and we never had any problems with service or food. It’s quick, cheap, and has a very cute & simple atmosphere. The pho is also the best part

S
Shawn-Jessica Luong

Our go to Pho place for the last 3 decades. Same quality soup, best price pho, generous portion of basil and coriander, the latter that many Pho places do not provide which is a must for southern Pho lovers. Their beef stew is the best from all the local Pho we have visited in the SGV to Rowland Heights.

A
Anthony Salazar

Pho Hoa is simply the best in the neighborhood. One of the few pho restaurants in the area that serves drip-coffee at your table for the iced-coffee, and it's amazing, not to mention the pho! Portions are generous and service is extremely fast. To those of you who criticize their service, this seems to be a cultural difference. Once you are served, if you need something else you have to grab their attention, otherwise they don't tend to you much after. This seems to be the case at other Vietnamese restaurants. Also, they don't bring you your check, you go up to the register when you're done to settl up. So now that you've been informed, go grab a bowl and enjoy!

T
Tony Shao

Great for lunch during lunch breaks. Fast service, food consistent. Been coming here for years. Cash only. Probably best Pho in the area, next best would be Fullerton and Gale.

Great pho and quick service! This is my dad's favorite pho restaurant. The restaurant is a little run down, but the workers are nice, the food is good and affordable, and it's a mom and pop shop which I appreciate a lot. I'm just dinging the atmosphere a little because there's a strip club right next door so this place might not be the best to take conservative family or kids for dinner. If however, you're having some type of guys night out and want some tasty Vietnamese food at the same time, I give it 5 stars for atmosphere lol!!! 😂

I used to come here over 15 years ago. I don't know if it's still the same owners or cooks but it's just as good as I remember when I worked around the corner. Brought back a lot of great memories as well. Broth is delicious and portions are a good size as well

I have been coming here every Saturday for 5 years straight. This is the greatest bowl of pho you will ever consume in the city of Los Angeles, possibly even the country. The broth is the definition of perfection, buttery from the fat and made from bone traditionally, not fragrant or made from a vegetable stock. The customer service is straight forward. They take your order, and bring you your food. Just because they don’t baby you or pamper you doesn’t mean they are “rude”. With their methods of customer service, they are able to bring out your bowl of pho in 2 minutes, while providing the same equal attention to detail to the rest of the customers, and the cleanliness and efficiency of the restaurant. The owner and staff have a wonderful restaurant, and truly make us feel like family.

I've been coming to this place for about 30 years now. It is the place where I first tasted phò. This restaurant cradled a budding foodie, and it continues it's tradition of delicious flavor. I visited it Sunday July 13, 2025. Needles to say I continue to be a fan. Cash only! They compete for your cash against the Peppermint Rhino in the same strip mall. The Phò is on point. There are other dishes, the likes of which I cannot pronounce, but they are delicious nonetheless. The staff has changed throughout the years, but it continues to be the same chop chop type of service, after all you came here to eat, not fraternize with the staff. You came to eat, enjoy this jewell hidden in plain sight in the city of industry in the San Gabriel Valley. Bon appetit!

So far the Tier 1 pho, if not the best I have ever had in the US. Their soup is just right, not too salty, not too plain, not heavily seasoned. Always come hot and fresh. Always order their “No. 1” on the menu, tbh the meat ball is skimpy, so don’t do it. Their egg roll is good too.

Whenever I enter this restaurant, I feel like I'm stepping back into the late 80s or early 90s. The tables and chairs seem very plastic in the fluorescent lighting. However, the food makes up for it. They serve steaming hot bowls of pho and they do it well. Flavors of beef, cilantro, and basil aromatically waft through the air. Their egg rolls are awesome too.

S

Great food but I wish the owner invested some money for the tables and furnitures and also servers need to be better dressed and cleaner

I have been going here since 1993... about 25 years. It has been declining a bit in the past few years but I love the pho broth. The ambiance is a bit worn and disheveled. The pho is pure and aromatic. Bun is good. Back in 1993 there were few pho restaurants in the area. Now there are many to chose from. I have many I like very much but I often return here.

I've been here a million times and its time to review this place! Pho Hoa is the place I use to compare other Pho restaurants in the greater LA. It's comparable to the amazing ones in Little Saigon...yes, it's that good! Don't expect amazing service here and you better damn know what you want to order because the gents here are on your ass once you're seated. You could see their inpatient looks for your order, haha! If you don't know what to order, get #1 or #3 (classic pho noodle soup) which are the same expect #1 is larger in portion. The best part about this restaurant is getting extra sides of veggie without a charge. More onion, CHECK! More basil, CHECK! More soup, CHECK! Free??? Awesome!!! The Vietnamese coffee and egg rolls are also outstanding...don't forget to wrap your rolls in the lettuce and basil they give you. If you like spicy, I alway put a slice of jalapeño into my fish sauce to kick it up a notch! Plenty of parking here and you can also skip over to Spearmint Rhino if that's your thing afterwards...it's in the same plaza. Last but not least, CASH only!!!

Tuesday 2/4/25 Lunch at Pho Hoa to satisfy my pho craving. This restaurant has the most authentic pho soup base, pho noodles, with lots of beef and vegetables along with reasonably prices. They serve you as quickly as you make the order. The service staffs were not personable or dress appropriately however they work hard and serve customers quickly. David Young Restaurant Enthusiast ——— Saturday 9/23/23 Lunch at Pho Hoa Noodle Soup in City of Industry with my cousin. This restaurant has an authentic, great pho soup base. I’ve been coming to this restaurant chain for over 30 years. They have another location in Monterey Park years ago. The restaurant is large with lots of seating; barely any wait time to get seated and served your pho. The service staffs works fast. The restaurant decor is older but coming here it’s more for the great tasting pho and other Vietnamese dishes. The prices are better than other pho restaurants. I recommend trying it out. If you are looking for a nice place with a modern updated restaurant, this is not it. Been coming to this restaurant for pho for many years. It’s one of the best tasting pho to me. It’s almost like a hole in a wall, but a large one. Generous with the veggies and very reasonably priced. One of my favorite pho places.

It's a really sad moment. This place has been here for the longest time and year after year month after month it seems, the service and the quality of ingredients seem to diminish. They've gone from the best most authentic Vietnamese PHO place to a shadow of their past. They started cheaping out started last year to the point that they started serving with what looks like home grown Lemons (today by the way was even worse, they served 2 half slice of very small lemons) instead of Lime with the condiments (makes A HUGE difference in experience) and the taste of broth. They'd serve you the utensils/chopstick (which at times you'll notice are filthy with food residue, gotta ask for replacement) and just lay it on the table if you're not ready to grab it from them (germophobes beware) that's a BIG BIG Deal these days. I believe this is the final straw for me. If only they're not the only consistent place that still offers dine-in... The times were good but time to move on. There are much much better options out there.

No lemon, no flavor and wasn’t sure if the green hair like thing was a part of a stem or green worn part of scotch pad. And after all that disappointment cash only. Had to walk to liquor store in shopping center to get cash.

I ordered a braised beef rice that was clearly listed as $12.75 on the menu. The sales tax in City of Industry is 9.50%, so with tax, it should’ve been around $13.97. Even if I include the surprise $0.50 “to-go” fee they made up on the spot, the total still only comes to $14.46 — yet they charged me $15.58. They don’t take cards, and someone just scribbled the total on a random piece of paper like it’s some back alley hustle. When I questioned it, they casually claimed there’s a to-go charge — something I’ve never seen any legitimate restaurant do without clear notice. This isn’t just shady — it’s blatant fraud. They are deliberately overcharging customers and hoping no one does the math. It’s insulting — they’re treating their guests like fools who won’t notice. Absolutely unacceptable and dishonest. I will never return, and I strongly suggest others stay away from this place.

Been here 10-12 years ago. I think still the same owner. Food was just okay. I prefer Pho Pasteur in Rosemead Ca. Need to update prices on the menu and photos of dishes will help people like me who is not a Vietnamese. Rude waiter and owner. Need to work on a better customer service.

The workers are a bit rude to Hispanics . Last night drew the line ! He told me I could not use the restroom before ordering. We proceeded to tell me I wanted a number 1 . I kindly asked him for one minute please . He then told me hurry up order . I left and will NEVER RETURN ! Horrible HORRIBLE HOSPITALITY!

The beef in beef pho smells like they used some expired product, gross. I dont know how previous reviews mentioned that their customer service is good, when we asked for napkins the guy with long hair just staring at us for no reason.... and didnt response, we had to grabbed napkins from near table.

BE CAREFUL ON THE BILL THEY SEND YOU, THEY JUST MADE UP THE NUMBERS! We called ahead to order two for pick up, when we got to the store the clerk told us $40. We thought the price was wrong offered to see the bill he said no have. He said there's a tax increase you guys do the math and it's pretty much the same. I can feel ripped off and I walk away. I don't know how to do business like this.

Do not ever go there. The waiter will urge you to make order within one minute as you site down. The food test terrible and the beef is raw. They only accept cash and would force you to go to atm outside if you do not have cash.

I went in here about an hour and 20 minutes before they closed to be greeted as “we are only accepting to go orders” in such a rude tone. I said it was fine because walking in, it smelled like someone was chain-smoking cigarettes for who knows how long. After deciding what I wanted from a sticky menu they handed me, I went to pay and that is when they said they only accept cash, so I told them that I wanted to cancel the order because I only had card. That is when I was handed a phone number to Zelle the money to and I felt very uncomfortable about the whole situation so I said cancel it all please and for one of the workers to block off the entrance and not letting me leave. Maybe it was just a bad night when I went but seeing another family leaving there quickly as well just put a bad taste and I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

I recently visited this store hoping to enjoy an authentic bowl of Vietnamese pho. While the broth was decent and the noodles were cooked well, the entire experience fell flat due to one critical issue: THERE WAS NO CHILI OIL AVAILABLE!!! For anyone familiar with Vietnamese cuisine, chili oil is a non-negotiable condiment that adds depth, heat, and aroma to the dish. Without it, the pho tasted bland and incomplete, no matter how much lime, basil, or Sriracha I added. It’s like serving sushi without soy sauce or pizza without cheese — it just doesn’t work. I’d consider giving this place another chance ONLY IF they prioritize stocking essential condiments. Until then, I’ll be taking my cravings elsewhere.

Its 2025 and this spot is cash only... We have all of this technology to transfer money cashless yet they want to run a business like its 1990 and accept cash only.

Disappointed with this pho place. The pho had no chili oil, only sour chili sauce which ruined the taste. Not good at all. To make matters worse, they don't accept credit cards - cash only. Wouldn't recommend.

Disappointing Experience: Rude Service and Spoiled Food I recently visited this Vietnamese restaurant, and it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was appalling. The staff seemed indifferent and rude, showing no interest in making us feel welcome. It took an unreasonably long time for anyone to take our order, and when they finally did, they were dismissive and unhelpful. The real problem, however, was the food. I ordered a bowl of pho, expecting a flavorful, comforting dish. Instead, what arrived was far from edible. The broth smelled sour and rancid, immediately raising concerns about its freshness. The taste confirmed my suspicions – it was spoiled. The meat was rubbery and had a strange odor, and the vegetables were wilted and unappealing. It was clear that the ingredients were not fresh, and I couldn’t even finish the dish. When we mentioned the issues to our server, they were completely dismissive and offered no apology or solution. The manager, when called, was equally uninterested, claiming the food was “fine” and refusing to address our concerns. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The service was rude, the food was spoiled, and the management showed no care for their customers’ satisfaction or safety. I would strongly advise against eating here – there are far better Vietnamese restaurants in the area that care about their food quality and customer experience. Save your time and money by avoiding this place.
