Large selection of sushi with other options. Generally busy so expect a line on Friday and Saturday.

The only issue I have is deciding what I liked the most. The spicy tuna crispy rice appetizer is great. The siren song sushi roll is honestly one of the best I've had anywhere. Our waiter was spot on with his recommendations. I will be coming back when I return to Atlanta.

I am a regular and was celebrating my birthday. The food is consistently delicious . Even though it was a crowded Friday night the ambiance was great.

I'm glad I decided to come to Sushiology for lunch today. Everyone was great; the hotestess, the waitress, and the sushi guys. I ordered the Poke Don and O..M..G! It was sooo good. I grew up in Hawaii and the poke bowl reminded me of the time I was there. I do have one small complaint though. The salad that came with lunch had so much ginger dressing that my lettus was swimming in it at the bottom. However, I love the ginger dressing which is why I decided to stick with 5 stars. The place is small and quaint and very clean and I look forward to coming back to try something new.

Do you like good sushi? Then you have to come try Sushiology. I've been to a number of sushi restaurants throughout Atlanta and this place was amazing! The sushi was delicious and the rolls had some great twists. The chef creates some interesting rolls and I can tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed every single one we had. Also, that wagyu beef! If you've never had it where you cook it on your table, just try it. It was delicious. The meat literally melts in your mouth with such great flavor, even unseasoned. I'll definitely be back for some more!

Our Favorite Place for all you can eat Sushi! The place is clean and modern. The staff is friendly and attentive. The sushi is wonderful! The all you can eat Sushi comes with a lot more than just sushi! The staff is very accommodating and will make most things veggie (without fish).

My family and I absolutely love the all you can eat at sushiology. We have never been disappointed, the lunch and dinner are both fantastic. The shrimp battera sushi is unique and utterly delicious - our clear favorite. The nigiri is always fresh, I enjoyed the tuna and tofu the most. My kids devoured the gyoza and pew pew chicken. We'll definitely be back!

f
francoise nikiforou

High quality fish, fresh and prepared as ordered, spicy tuna on fried cubed rice a little disappointing for a lack of spice and taste, mussels highly recommended as well as a fried calamari.

Do yourself a favor and eat here. So good! Relaxed, cool vibe. Unique sushi and classics. The salmon citrus and golden rolls were on point!

First time visit and the service and food was great! Our waiter explained everything, had a great personality and even had my nine year-old try sushi for the first time. We'll definitely be back.

After Sushi Bites in Kennesaw closed it's doors, I was so disappointed. Then I tried this place on a whim and OH... MY... GOSH! I was pleasantly surprised! AMAZING sushi, appetizers and full bar! Great place for a date night, lunch with friends or just a "treatyoself" moment. Definitely try the all you can eat SUSHINOMICS option. It includes all their sushi and apps! Sooooooo good!

DINNER HOURS: restaurant opens at 5pm! Everything we ordered over the years are all delicious; gyoza, calimari, Og ramen, chicken teriyaki, and miso-glazed salmon and sushi 😀 Wait staff very attentive. Friday night: packed house. Dividers between tables should be 9 inches higher for better privacy(!) and noise reduction. 2023: This just in.. menu changes. No more spicy miso Ramen 😪 My wife and I ordered GYU-YAKIUDON...DELICIOUS!

This place is amazing! To be fair we came here because we had received a coupon but we could not be more please with the service and quality of food. The server was quick to help us narrow down our choices: we had spicy miso ramen and a specialty maki. So yummy! The flavor and spice is amazing. Have I said amazing yet? Ask for Gordon- he's the best!

If there is better sushi in Cobb County, I haven't found it. The service is great and the sushi is fantastic! If you like sushi and don't want to drive ITP, I highly recommend Sushiology!

Sooo Delicious! The creamy vegan ramen here is best ever only second to jinya’s ramen! The outdoor seating is beautiful with lots of heaters! And the best part it is dog friendly! The waiter was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu.

DoorDash brought me sushi 15 minutes faster then the promised time. I got the philly roll, rainbow roll, and Caterpillar roll. Everything was amazing! Very happy and full.

Sushiology is definitely our go-to for Sushi around Marietta/Kennesaw. We’ve been coming here for years and always had consistently great sushi no matter what we order. The sriracha edamame is fantastic, just enough spice without being too much. Our favorite roll is The Kracken, really good! It’s not cheap but you definitely get better quality here.

L
Logen P.

I always love coming here. The sushi is so delicious and some of the rolls are so creative! We usually get the edamame with sriracha butter to start. My favorite roll is the Salmon Citrus Roll. It’s has tempura shrimp inside, topped with refreshing salmon and a thin slice of lemon. The Sakana Box is another good one to try. If you’re not a big fan of sushi, the OG ramen is definitely a good choice. If you’re really trying to eat a lot and be adventurous, I would recommend doing Sushinomics. It’s all you can eat and they have a separate menu that allows you to choose from appetizers, rolls, desserts, and more. It’s a pretty solid deal for as much food as you can eat!

I HATE SUSHI, but everyone in my family loves sushi, and Sushiology has a little bit of everything for everyone! The pork buns are absolutely the best I’ve ever had! And there are a few other items on the menu for people like me. The staff are always so nice and attentive. They’re very knowledgeable about every single item on the menu. So much so, they helped me find something I could eat. My entire family loves Sushiology. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Recently went here for a friends birthday dinner which also happened to be my first time here. Start with the edamame with the sriracha butter (trust me). The sashimi here is amazing as well. The waitress was very attentive and gave great recommendations. Between the food and staff it was one of the best dinner experiences I’ve ever had. Definitely coming back soon.

Love this place!! The vibe is pretty laid back and it’s a smaller space, but normally don’t have to wait too long to be sat. The sushi is fantastic and always like to try a new roll here! The size is also pretty filling especially with any one of their amazing apps- there hasn’t been much here I haven’t liked and I bring people here as my go to pick for sushi in the area.

Amazing quality for the price of the AYCE. Exactly the same deilicous quality as when they first opened years ago! Be careful not to waste as they charge $1.0 per piece, which goes towards charity.

Had the all you can eat Sushinomics and it was a great deal. Got to try many different items and most were pretty good. Our favorite was the spicy tuna on rice small plate.

S

The only complaint about the place was that the music was a little too loud, and I wasn't crazy about some of the song selection. But that's all. Hats off to the chef. Best Takoyaki in town so far. I still have a few more places to try before I crown that king. But you're definitely in the running for sure. The food was excellent. We split the tuna avacado and the smoked salmon and California roll. The Miso soup was perfect. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back again. If you guys get an order for an obscene amount of takoyaki, it just might be me! 🤠

We just enjoyed a wonderful brunch. Paella for two and their duck sausage special. We finished the meal with their tiramisu bread pudding. Delicious!

B

The service was great, they do stop serving at about 30 minutes to close though. The edemame tasted a bit old, but we came in at close, so we may have just gotten the end of it. The salmon in the fried tofu is a cold dish, which I wasn't expecting. It was spicy for me, but I have a sensitive palette. The sushi was good, I got the smoked salmon nigiri. Our server was kind and attentive. I loved the atmosphere.

Small, intimate spot with great service and attention to detail. It's casual though, but that doesn't mean the food is just average. In fact, it's quite above average, and I felt it was worth the price. From the pork belly baos, to the spicy tuna rolls, you can't go wrong. Great for double dates btw. Definitely recommend!

Great restaurant for Japanese cuisine. I had a variety of items and everything was delicious. They have ramen, rice bowl, and sushi. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Nice covered patio seating on the side. I recommend coming if you craving some Japanese.

A

Great fresh food, excellent service and smiley waitresses. All you can eat has a new twist in my view, maybe that is why I like it. If you are with somebody else make sure you order in rounds, be conservative because you will get charged .75 cents per piece left behind. It minimizes waste of food. It costs 26 bucks for all you can eat. Go for it.. The adamame with Sriracha and butter is fantastic.

Sushiology was so good! My husband and I have wanted some authentic, delicious sushi and have been unsatisfied with our usual places until today! Amazing! Really recommend the Heaven and Hell and the Super Crunch roll! Both amazing! My husband had the Ramen and he was very pleased - creamy broth and fresh ingredients! I had the Sake-Mosa drink and it was really good also! Oh, and don't skip the edamame!

Highly recommend the all you can eat. You place your order in a sheet and the server brings you the order. The all you can eat is $26, I had water so my total bill was $27 with tax. Considering each roll is from $11 to $12, the all you can eat is better in case you want some soup and apps.

This place was good! The rolls and sauces were delicious! Good atmosphere and good service. We are there (2 of us) for lunch and with tip it was about $70. (3 rolls, edamame and just water). A look title speedy but it was good.

We had a wonderful date night here. The sushi was great, the bao was perfect, and there were a few chef specialties that we hadn't seen or tried before. Our server was lovely - helpful, friendly, and a good listener. Definitely recommend, and definitely would go back.

This place freaking slappppppsssss. Looking at the menu thinking the price is high? WRONG they give you a mountain of food, with the freshest ingredients ever. The chicken is never dry, the veggies are never yuck, fish is always delish. It doesn’t matter if I order pickup or sit down in the restaurant the food is always worth every penny.

Clean. Courteous. Our server was knowledgeable. She knew what the various Japanese terms/words were on all the menu item descriptions I asked about. 3nor 4 of them. Placed special order for shrimp tempura which was excellent. Good presentation, expected of Japanese minimalist artistic food items. Quality plates and chopsticks. Prompt and fast delivery to our table. Salad, Ramen, sushi is good.

Nice sushi lunch here, with lunch specials around $17.50 for a choice of two rolls, ginger salad and miso soup. I picked Philly roll and spicy tuna. Philly roll had a nice big gob of cream cheese woth smoked salmon. The spicy tuna had a bit more kick than other places. Both rolls were great. We also got edamame (salted) and those are irresistible! They also had a spicy version. John the server was great. Clean place, nice vibe. 👌

Huge thanks to Sushiology!! Morgan I think her name was (lol) did a fantastic job. Great Dining Experience Here! They close at 2:30 and reopen for dinner on the weekdays, so be wary. They have an all you can eat (within reason, and within a certain amount of time) option. Lunch is $18/person, and dinner is $26/person. It is 75¢ per piece that you don't eat, but you do not take your leftovers home with you, so make sure to go hungry! All proceeds from leftovers are donated to charity. There are lots of vegetarian options, as well as tons of deliciously yummy sushi. If you are unfamiliar with Japanese vegetables and vocabulary, be prepared to do a lot of Googling. The menu does not specify which pieces of sushi are vegetarian or vegan, but does display which items are gluten free. The Japanese-style spring rolls were delicious and crunchy, as was the fried Taro. The restaurant is a small sit-down restaurant, and the food comes out extremely quickly. We expected the sushi to come in waves, but the chefs were so fast that it all came out, fresh, at once! You can see the chefs preparing the sushi, and the restaurant has a modern, cool vibe complete with an open sushi preparation station and funky Japanese-style murals.

Great local spot to eat-in or get some takeaway. Casual couples date night or kids friendly family spot, can't go wrong with this little gem. If you are feeling really hungry, ask about their "Sushinomics" offering. 2024 update - Have been going here for 6 years now and it always consistently delivers. Thanks to the front of house staff and the exceptional chefs!

Sushiology was a recommendation from my Cousin, and he did good by us. This place is fantastic, the staff was incredibly nice, our server was funny, fast, and kind, and the food was delicious. We had two types of house Sushi and some Ramen and I probably could have kept eating forever. If you want to try some truly unique and delicious Sushi, I'd go here 100%

I visited with a friend for dinner on Saturday. We arrived at 6 pm, so we were able to be seated right away. Come any later, and you'll have a wait time. The inside of the restaurant is kind of small but very well decorated. We were seated at a 2-person table by the sushi bar. Our server was very kind to us and gave good recommendations since this was our first visit. We got the pan seared gyoza, OG ramen, the Hanabi signature maki roll, and tiramasu. We loved everything!! The tiramisu was the only underwhelming thing we ate, but still a sweet way to end our meal. The cocktails are good, too. We definitely will come back. Thanks for a great experience.

Amazing sushi and amazing staff! We have been here a few times, but just this week we went for the all you could eat sushi option and we were more than satisfied! If I could give the place 6 stars I would. You have to try the Pew Pew chicken! As long as you don't mind the spice, the chicken is cooked perfectly. If you want to have the all you can eat option, you have to make reservations in advance, but we did it same day (on a weekday). Make sure you come hungry!

Always on point! If you want quality and more unique sushi offerings in Cobb County, this is the place to go. If this place was in Atlanta, everything would be at least double the price for the same quality. The crispy rice with spicy tuna is my favorite. California roll only folks should probably go elsewhere.

1000/10 !! I've never dined in, but my boyfriend and I were looking for a new sushi place in Kennesaw since we moved here .We've been 3 times in the past month, it's so yummy always fresh and the rolls are delicious. the crispy rice is what brought us in. It is actually expensive to get a few rolls or so give or take, but its always worth it and we will keep coming back

This was my first visit. The only issues I had was it was very cold in there and the service was slow. Other than that, the sushi was good. The soft crab roll was cut small and I inquired. Don’t think I will order it again. The crispy tuna was amazing!

We loved ALL of it. The service, the food, the ambiance, it was fabulous. Incredibly enough the appetizer fries were TOP, and so was the Bao Wow. As for the rolls top were the Ontario, Tengokutodjigoku and the one more (which was kind of weird because it was warm). As for the drinks if you like sweet do the Lychee Cherry Lineade… the Kyoto Mule was yummy!

This place is pricy. But, you get what you pay for. Service is friendly, and the wooden interior is cozy and welcoming. Our favorite sushi are the heaven and hell roll and the Akebeko roll. They were so good that we went back 3 days in a row. I never thought I'd like steak on sushi, but they do it just right. The menu is unique and everything we've tried was tasty. Definitely one of my top sushi spots! Tried the shanghai fried rice, and it was even more delicious! Tastes better than the chicken fried rice!

It’s my sister’s birthday and I’m not there to celebrate with her. So I door dashed from here to deliver at her work. I asked to make it special since I wouldn’t be there in person, and they decorated the bag and added a complimentary ice cream. Such an act of kindness that I won’t ever forget, and neither will my sister. THANK YOU!!!

What a great experience! Was driving and saw this place off the side of the road. Came back later on to check it out and was pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. While the menu may be slightly shorter than the average sushi restaurant, the quality of the sushi more than makes up for it. I’m partial to the Caterpillar and Rainbow rolls, often using a rainbow roll as a base test item to judge sushi restaurants. The fish was nice and fresh and not old or dry feeling. The rest of the roll below it was nice and plain without having too much rice vinegar so if you enjoy the taste of any sauce it wasn’t over powered. As for my second roll, the avocado was nice and fresh without a brown spot anywhere and has just the right combination of eel sauce and contents within the roll itself to taste absolutely fantastic. So much so I ordered a second one while I was there. This is definitely one of the best of many, many sushi places I have been to. To add to the food, I appreciate that the menu had a large variety of items and had something for pretty much anybody including a few items for people who don’t like seafood such as chicken fried rice, pork gyoza, etc. The environment is also bright and well lit. It seems like a popular place for locals as well and I can see why. It was full but with a few seats available when I arrived. They have a variety of seating options, bar, high and low tables, as well as booths. If you are in the area and looking for some really good quality sushi, I would highly recommend this place and when I am back here I will absolutely be coming back to this restaurant!

Had a late lunch/early dinner with a friend here yesterday. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We had two great sake drinks, the Yuzu and the Pulpy tangerine in a super cute bottle. So yummy! We shared some rolls: sake aioli, tunaception, heaven & hell, and akebeko. We shared the tuna tataki crisp. Out of everything, I would skip the tuna tataki, which was rather flavorless and had a very spicy wasabi cream over it and the tunaception, which almost seemed to be missing something in comparison to the others. The other rolls were amazing!! The sake aioli had a small piece of asparagus, which gave such a nice crunch. The sauce on the akebeko was so yummy! Even the music was upbeat and nice. Great service also.

What a great experience for my son and I. As first time guests to this restaurant we ordered the Dragon God sake, amazing! cherry lychee limeade cocktail TASTEE! The pork bao buns could be something I eat every day for the rest of my life, and I would not get bored. As far as sushi we ordered, devoured and were so pleased with the Salmon and citrus roll, Siren Song and the Sake Toro. Great first time experience we will definitely be going back.

After passing by this place for so long, I finally tried it out in hopes of finding a good sushi place close by where I live. I was afraid it'd be a "trendy, overpriced" type of sushi spot from the branding, but I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality and freshness of their fish! I brought two super sushi snobs here, and they were really impressed--they've traveled to places like Hawaii and Japan for their sushi, so I feel like their opinion has some merit! The rolls are interesting as well; the Akebeko is the first meat + cream cheese roll I've ever genuinely enjoyed. I'm just so glad that I don't have to go out of my way to get great sushi now!

I’ve been dining here since 2018. It’s my favorite sushi place. The sriracha edamame is always a hit. Kyoto Mule to start things off. Try something new by getting the Kraken Kraken roll. It’s something I’d not normally try but enjoy the different flavors it brings to the meal. Tunaception and plenty of Nigiri to finish the meal off is my go to. Highly recommend this place. Great food and service. I’m going to head there for lunch today!

The best sushi 🍣 place in Kennesaw. We took advantage of an all you can eat that requires reservations and absolutely tore in. I’ve never had as much quality sushi in one sitting. Clean restaurant with fresh cooked to order food. High quality place and comfortable environment. Our waitress was friendly and set the vibe. This is the only place I will go in Kennesaw for sushi from now on. Outstanding experience!!! 💯👏🏽🐺

My husband and I had our first date here in early 2020. We came back while in town and it is just as tasty as it was then! The spicy tuna crispy rice is insanely good. The heaven & hell roll is probably the tastiest sushi roll ever. The fries are a must. If you want a good bite to eat or a great place for a first date, definitely stop in.

I’m not a local, but I love sushi so we came here for All You Can Eat. They warn you when you order that any pieces you leave behind are an added 1 dollar charge that is then a donation. The server did a great job explaining it. He was pretty fantastic actually. Always came by at the right time and we never were out of water. The sushi was incredible. Usually AYCE are more about quantity, but not the case here! We got the uni upcharge and it was worth it - very good. Sadly, I don’t live here to keep coming back but it’s a dinner I’ll remember.

This was my 2nd visit to this spot and it didn’t let me down. I sat at the bar since it was just me & they were jam packed for lunch. The waiter was friendly & helped me narrow down my options. I went with his suggestion, the Poke Don, & it was delicious + filling! I’d recommend this spot if you’re in the area & looking for fresh/delicious sushi.

Fun menu for both sushi & non-sushi eaters. Can be a little heavy on the sauces (wouldn’t recommend the Tiger Eye roll unless you enjoy a mushy texture) but everything else is spot on. Tempura green beans & wasabi ranch is delish. Good service, cool ambience, & a $26pp AYCE menu makes this spot worth checking out.

This is the second time i visited Sushiology. I had All you can eat sushi the first time and it was really good. I had ramen the second time and it was yummy. The portion is just right, not too much. The service was a bit slow which is why i only gave 4 stars. Also, it is a bit inconvenient if you have a friend coming along and want to get All you can eat while you don’t. Because if you do All you can eat, everyone on the table has to do it as well. Other than that, it’s all good.

I have been to sushi restaurants all over the world and this place certainly seems to be capitalizing on the sushi craze a bit too late. My server Karina was awesome, but a bit too pushy with the upsale. The pictured roll's first listed ingredient was eel, but I couldn't even tell there was eel in the roll. Everything was overpriced. Nice atmosphere, but small. I doubt I will go out of my way to return. I finally made it back. Upping my rating because their quality is top. I think I was a bit too harsh last time. I got a lunch combo and it was very good.

We ordered salmon citrus roll, eye of the tiger, salmon toro, crunchy crab roll, Shanghai sausage fried rice, takoyaki, and calamari. Everything was good except we didn't like eye of the tiger, I think it should have said "no rice" in the description if there wasn't going to be any rice. The crunchy crab roll was decent, half the rolls had burnt crab in it.

A bit of a mix good and bad. Starting with the good, clean place, nice environment. The Pew Pew Chicken was a good appetizer. The Eye of the Tiger & the Sake Aioli was really good but the Salmon Citrus roll was really bitter. The bad was the subpar service which always ruins an experience. However, I will say I think it was more our server as other tables near us were getting nice attention. It was ok but had higher expectations due to other reviews.

Stppoed in for dinner and was seated right away. The hostess was pleasant. I ordered gyoza and shrimp tempura roll. Both were very tasty, especially the gzoya. Everything tasted fresh. The service was solid too. Great experience.

First time here. Came because I saw the pew pew cauliflower. Came from lunch and it wasn't packed. We were greeted right away and our server was attentive. Good selections. Prices for sushi are higher than some of the other sushi places especially for lunch (didn't have good lunch specials). But the pew pew cauliflower was soooo good! The gyoza was really good too! I will come back just for those 2 appetizers. My California roll was good and fresh. I did get the cherry limeade lychee spiked drink and it was just ok. Taste like soda and lots of syrup so it wasn't worth it and wouldn't get that again. But my food was good and so was my service. I will be back for the pew pew cauliflower and the gyozas.

Very nice sushi bar with a lot of different options. Many different options from the sushi bar, and a few options from the kitchen. Be forewarned that the cooked options may take quite a bit longer than the raw options, so if one person in the party chooses to order from the kitchen, they may be served 10 to 15 minutes later. Overall, I don’t think I’ve had anything on the menu that I didn’t like. They are located in a strip shopping center next to Keegan’s Irish pub. During peak dining, parking can be difficult, but there is more parking behind the shopping center, with a walkway between the two restaurants.

Went for an impromptu date night after a tough week. It’s a smaller place so (as expected on a Saturday night) there was a wait. Hostess was super nice and offered us some options, said it would be 15-30 minutes. We popped next door for a quick drink while waiting which became very quick as our table was ready (via text) in maybe 10 minutes. Server was busy but let us know she’d be right over and was great throughout. Really enjoyed the food and found it pretty fairly priced. We had some nigiri (nice selection too), three rolls, bao buns, a miso soup, and one of the unfiltered sakes. Tab was about $125 Would definitely go again!

Very clean and cute... But everything else is underwhelming. I asked for my ramen to be spicy, and though they obviously added chili garlic oil, I felt... Nothing. The chashu broth in the tonkotsu ramen is mid, though the noodles were nice and chewy. The iced tea is fine, though they were a bit slow on the refills.

I wanted to give a five star review so bad, And I would've had it not been for our particular experience. We were seated almost immediately upon arrival with no reservation. We were a bit discouraged that calling ahead to reserve the buffet wasn't an option and it looks like it may be closed? Nevertheless, My meal was delicious. My partner, however, notified the server of get allergies, and the server confidently gave her an alternative to order. However, when her meal arrived (which already arrived several mins after mine) it clearly had the ingredient in it. The server then acknowledged she didn't know it was included and offered yet another option. At this point, we had all finished our meals and my partner had understandably lost faith in the level of service. Had we not looked ourselves, the dinner could have caused a severe allergic reaction and been much more consequential then a inconvenienced dining experience. Servers should know the menu, and take allergies seriously..

The sushinomics menu used to be more extensive and cheaper. $43 per person with subpar sushi at this point + extra for dessert. The appetizers are better than the sushi for the most part. I may come back but not for sushinomics. A few years ago my family and I would do sushinomics once every week.

A bit overpriced for quality and portions. We sat at the sushi bar. There was a group of teen/younger aged hosts and servers that seemed to be distracting from the dining experience. We were jokingly advised they'd have to kick us out b/c I had an empty flavored soda can with me. Not a big deal but weird nonetheless.

I really don’t think this place is worth the elevated prices. I got a mule and poke bowl. The poke bowl was an extremely disappointing portion for $17. Additionally, it was pretty bland and run of the mill. The presentation was excellent, but it doesn’t compensate for the lack of flavor. The cocktail was 90% ice and not worth the money—it was basically ginger beer on ice. I wouldn’t really recommend this place over any other ordinary sushi restaurant. The service was very slow despite only having 3-4 tables sitting and more than enough staff.

The place is clean but the food & service was very average. We were the first customers in when they opened Saturday morning & still took a while to get our food. Ordered green bean fries which came out soggy & oily. Rainbow & spicy tuna rows were heavy on the filler & light on the sushi. Apparently, if you want all you can eat AYCE, you have to make a reservation beforehand. Why do you have to make a reservation for AYCE?

This review is specifically about our server, Lily. We stopped in for a quick lunch and placed our food and drink orders. Everything seemed fine at first. However, before my husband could even enjoy his drink, he accidentally knocked it over and most of it spilled on the floor. The staff had to bring a mop to clean it up. We asked if we should move while she cleaned, and Lily said, “Oh, it’s ok, I can quickly clean it up here.” After a few seconds, we realized it made more sense to move, so we did. What surprised me was that she didn’t even offer to replace the drink. We actually had to ask for another one, and when she brought it, she seemed annoyed rather than accommodating. The food itself was fine for a quick sushi spot, but when the check came, Lily had charged us for the replacement drink. When I questioned it, her only response was, “It was an unfortunate event.” Honestly, I’ve never had a restaurant handle something like this that way. In every other place I’ve been, if an accident happens so early into a meal—especially after just one sip—the restaurant has been kind enough to replace the drink without charge. Between Lily’s dismissive attitude and lack of basic customer service, this was hands down the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant.

I very rarely write bad reviews but this place really disappointed me. I went there to order their "Poké Don" which was listed for $17 and came with shrimp, salmon, and tuna. I am allergic to shrimp and asked them to substitute it with tuna instead. They said it would be a $4 upcharge. That in itself is baffling and I've not experienced a restaurant that upcharges so much to replace with more of an ingredient that is ALREADY in the meal. I decided to just go without the extra tuna. If you've ever eaten Poké then you know it comes in a round bowl with about 2 or more scoops of rice and a bed of veggies before the sushi is added. This poké is very small for having paid $17 for it. At an actual poké restaurant I could get twice the amount of food for the same price. That said, the poke was delicious. Just not good enough for me to want to come back at those prices. I also ordered the chicken bao for $9. I absolutely love bao and expected it to come with fresh meat and some sort of cabbage or veggie slaw. Please explain to me why it's it's made with a processed meat patty and round slices of cucumber. Fresh fried chicken is so cheap and easy to make and they really said let me go to Costco and buy these patties in bulk and upcharge people for lunch meat. To add insult to injury, the patty didn't even taste good. As for the cucumber slices... I don't get why they didn't just buy a premade slaw while they were at Costco and slapped it in there. The upside to this dish was the bao bun which can also be bought premade and the sauce. The sauce slaps. All in all, this place is massively overpriced and disappointing. Get your sushi fix elsewhere until they can cook their own food or match their price with its quality.

The sushi, while palatable, was quite small. It's half the size, but they charge you full price. Spent a tad bit over $90 and I'm not gonna lie, I had to stop at a fast food spot afterwards to get more food. I know the economy is rough, but the size of the sushi was no bigger than a nickel

D

Premium price for a lackluster menu, 28$ for sushi thats all you can eat would seem like an ok and reasonable price, the issue with that is I've eaten at a location that charges 13$ for lunch and 16$ for dinner with a much extensive menu which also includes chicken meals. Its not a bad place I just wouldn't recommend the all you can eat option. One more thing to add, the dishes take about 30-40 minutes to prepare 3 different rolls. My other suggested spot took 30 minutes to make 8 plates (we were a group of 4)

At first I was really excited about this place. I had 3 other friends who have gone here and also didn’t like it due to the expensive price and mediocre flavor in the food, but I still wanted to try it out myself. The service was good. Servers/employees seemed too busy talking in the front than the customers. We started off with the Okinomiyaki fries which were really good, but after here it starts to go downhill. For entree we ordered the Tuna Taco, Salmon Miso, & a sushi roll. Tuna taco was ok. Salmon Miso was really disappointing. The only thing that had flavor was the salmon. The vegetables were just seasoned lightly with salt and pepper it seems. For $28 with no soup or salad like a hibachi or flavor was really disappointing. The sushi was also really mediocre. The roll I got was smaller than other sushi places I have gone and also ok. The flavor was meh but nothing that blew me away. To me this place tastes like hospital or microwaved food. 2 ppl + tip was around $85. Keep in mind we didn’t get any drinks ONLY WATER. If I remember correctly I think I saw 3pcs of gyoza/potstickers for $8…. Other places offer 5-6 pcs of gyoza for that same price. This place seems more like date spot than casual dining. I go to another restaurant where I can eat the BEST hibachi & sushi in Smyrna next to a FedEx with tons of flavor and soup and salad for less than $30 a person. In conclusion I agree with my friends, expensive & flavorless. Will I return? No, maybe only for the Okinomiyaki fries but thats it.

So disappointed with the Kracken Kracken roll. I’ve gotten this roll before and it’s been good. Thursday night I picked up this roll for dinner and after eating about half of it, my mouth was so on fire! When I examine the roll about half of it was full of a bunch of thick slices of jalapeño. The calamari that was inside of it was very small and had the consistency of rubber. To pay $20 for this roll was very crazy considering it was mostly jalapeño. I ended up taking the jalapeño out but because of the size I was so hungry. Fast forward to today, which is three days later my tongue is burned and my taste buds have been feeling off since then. I have never had anything like this happen and I do like spicy, but they were really trying to cheap out on the quality and now I am paying for it. Hopefully tomorrow my mouth feels normal again, but I’ve been saying that every day since Thursday night. DISAPPOINTED!!
