I absolutely LOVE their donuts, customer service, & aesthetic! Jorge was very welcoming and catering. The whole staff was friendly and attentive. There was little to no wait time. My ham & cheese was delicious. I got a refreshing taro drink w boba. The ambiance of the whole place was very nice. Would definitely recommend this place.

The donuts at the shop are always fresh and the service has always been friendly and kind. They offer a variety of non-donut items which allows for individuals seeking something else to get something to eat. The coffee is good and goes really well with any of their items. I would recommend getting them filled donuts or sprinkle donuts.

Everything here is great! They make all their food from scratch with organic ingredients which makes for pure deliciousness. Highly recommended.

Whoever the young man is with curly hair and wears a hat is….. he made my visit special. His customer service is the best in the area hands down. He is so young but his passion towards a customer at a simple donut shop is insane. I’ll come back here just because of the service he gave me and thats it. I make my own coffee at home and dont care to come out and eat a donut probably once every 3 months but because of him I wont feel bad to stop by. Great employees the owner should be proud!

I recently visited Sunnyside Donuts, and I have to say, the experience was fantastic! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made the visit even better. Gonzo and George were especially welcoming, and I was impressed by their attention to customer satisfaction. Although they were out of ham and cheese croissants when I arrived, Gonzo went above and beyond by heading to the back and making me fresh ones! That kind of dedication to service really stood out. The croissants were delicious, perfectly flaky, and filled with a generous amount of savory ham and cheese. I also tried their breakfast burrito, which was amazing—loaded with fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned. And of course, the donuts were incredible! They were light, fluffy, and packed with flavor, making it clear why this place has such a loyal following. Overall, Sunnyside Donuts is a must-visit. With Gonzo and George running the show, you're guaranteed great food and even better service. Highly recommend it!

They had the best Machaca I’ve ever had! And their donuts are delicious! I can’t wait to come back to try their chorizo breakfast burrito and their Chilaquiles. I highly suggest you stop by here to try their amazing cuisine!

We almost missed this place. The sign is small, but so glad we found it. The breakfast burrito big with a lot of meat. The doughnuts were fresh. The people very friendly.

We went here for the first time over the weekend and absolutely loved the food , people , service and ease of ordering. We came back this morning to order again and try the made to order homemade sausage in our breakfast sandwich. A++++. We met the owner and his parents they are wonderful people and happy they were there when we went over the weekend . The decorations for Halloween were all fun and we took lots of photos. Thankyou for being part of the community

They are a donut shop, but more than that, a gourmet coffee shop with delicious organic coffee drinks and also a “secret” food menu that will have your mouth salivating! Delicious options from burritos to specialty sandwiches, it’s not “fast food” it’s all freshly made to order with high quality ingredients. They’re a little on the pricy side for my taste, but honestly for the value, there is no one else that does it better for less money. But beyond that, the value lies in so much more than just their menu… This is a family owned and operated business and the owners are there most of the time. Best thing is, they treat YOU like family when you come in and you even get to know some of the regulars and it becomes a place to hang with local friends and family! I love the atmosphere there too, aside from the brown walls and the Christmas curtains that are still up! 🙈 Haha sorry George! 😂 I’d love to redecorate for ya! What’s really sweet is they always have local artist paintings and artwork on the walls for sale, I love that they give back to their customers and support their business too! They always do special events and host taco parties, decorate for holidays and have fun stuff for the kids, and they donate their leftover donuts to hospitals and other events and charities at the end of the day. These guys not only provide a great atmosphere (the 🎶 tunes are always 🔥FIRE🔥!!) but they also help you network with people and places if you need references for things! Like for instance last year we needed a new car for my brother who recently moved to the country and they helped us with recommendations and connections! They are also so kind and friendly with my kids, and they always have a treat for our pup! My kids have requested to go there on their birthday for a birthday donut! We live within walking distance and we end up landing at this spot regularly (on purpose) for a donut, or a coffee, or just a chat with a friendly face! Like I said, they feel like family at Sunny Side. Oh yah one more thing- we have called them and asked for bulk of donuts for special events like school event or a birthday gathering and they’ve been so helpful and accommodating, and their prices for those orders are super reasonable! They even loaned us a donut wall for my son’s birthday. 🥳

They make their own sausages, and salsa. Also learned that they just got a crepe maker and will be serving crepes in the near future. Can't wait for that! The owner is very nice, and open to suggestions. They have both indoor & outdoor dining.

I scarffed down the enchiladas topped with chorizo and fresh avocado, sorry there's no picture. I was amazed to learned that they make their own chorizo, delicious and mouth watering! Came here for doughnuts, but instead i endulged in their savory menu and pleased my sweet tooth with these french toast, took my doughnuts and boba thai tea to-go. Highly recommend!!

Service and food is great their breakfast burritos are awesome! Only reason I’m giving a 3 star instead of 5 is due to their poor online/phone takeout ordering system. Tried calling and their phone was disconnected. I ordered online and the food wasn’t ready when I arrived. It took a whole hour to get my food from when I ordered it. And when I did get it. They labeled it wrong. I would suggest ordering at the shop. It’s quicker and more efficient.

For me, they make the best breakfast burrito. They are not big and fat from being stuffed with filler potatoes. They are more compact but full of flavorful peppers, onions, cheese, egg and meat. Breakfast sandwiches also are great. Both sandwiches and burritos are cooked on a panini press to provide crispy crunch to croissant or bread. Service is friendly but can be slow so suggest order ahead

Small cafe with a few table but crowded to place your order next to the donut case. Donuts were fresh and flavorful. The staff were friendly and accommodating however the breakfast burrito was not the best - lack of egg and needing a crispy element. The breakfast taco was really good though - potato and bacon (crispy) instead of egg.

Worst food ever…I tried multiple times but they ALWAYS make mistakes on my orders. The owner Jorge tries to make things right. But mistakes always happen, your food order is never going to be correct. Save your time and money…GO TO STACKS DANA POINT. If I could I WOULD GIVE IT A ZERO.....They don't care at all......

This is the worst place to pick up to go orders! At least it’s in a shopping center with an Albertsons, so when your order is supposed to be ready, you can do your weeks grocery shopping. Then after you finish shopping, your wait won’t be nearly as long!

I have sat on this review for a long time because I didn’t want to be one of those vindictive dirt bags that hurts a local business. This said, I have been to this place 2-3 over the last several years and I generally feel unwelcome or that I am burdening the staff with my business. I went in for take out breakfast burritos for my daughter and her friends. When I got home I found what looked like rat feces in the burrito wrapper. I contacted the location and was told that someone would get back to me. I was contacted the next day and questioned about my issue . I shared pictures of the offending black material. Initially, the response was very concerned and I was told that the restaurant wanted to test what looks like rodent fecal matter. After back and forth with the restaurant, I was told it was too expensive to test it and that if I was worried about my health that I should contact the County health regulator. My full bill was refunded and I left the experience with the feeling that the person that contacted me was not concerned with the possibility that their food could be making me sick. I will never go back to this place or any of its other locations.

Charged me $10.50 for the person in front of me. I heard the machine beep when I tapped to pay and was told nothing went through. The 1 donut I had from the 16 I got for my work was genuinely the worst donut I've ever had it was a chocolate old fashion that tasted 2 days old. Won't be returning and not worth my time to go back for the $10.50 you guys charged me extra for no reason.
