I had an amazing experience at Torchy's Tacos in Lakeway. The staff was incredible, and Stephanie provided exceptional service. The food was delicious, especially the beef and chicken tacos. Highly recommend!

**Update Still totally love this place. Taco of the month again totally obsessed ( the cougar lol). 🤤 Cody is an amazing bartender. He made me the cool down It used to be on the menu and it's absolutely amazing 🤩. If you are able to stop by and lucky enough to have him working you can try it. I really wish they would put it back on the menu. The cool down is a super refreshing drink that complementary smooth cooling aspects enhance the salsa or tacos being enjoyed. Love the taco of the month. The service is amazing. Drinks are tasty . Good place to take the family or just go yourself and watch football at the bar.

Best local tacos. They have unique flavors, and the meat is excellent in taste. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant, it has a bar, and outside seating. What a great place for tacos!! The menu has over a dozen specialty tacos and other items, all made fresh when you order. The staff are very friendly and they bus the tables when you're finished eating. Prices are fair (around $6 per taco) and they have killer queso! Restaurant is clean and there's both inside and outside seating.

This place isn't as good as it once was, but it is still a favorite of mine. Pricey for the amount of food, but the originality of the place and food makes up for the price. Can't find food comparable in my opinion. The 4 stars is only because the quality of the food has dropped but still tastes good.

Tried the Brushfire, Orange, and Tipsy tacos — all of them were really good in flavor. The only downside was that the food wasn’t hot when it arrived at the table, which was a bit disappointing. They do have plenty of dining space with indoor, patio, and bar seating, which is a plus. Overall, worth trying if you are a taco fan

Had a great time at Torchy’s Tacos in Lakeway, thanks to our awesome bartender Lily she mixed up some killer margaritas and recommended the perfect drink to go with my tacos. Super attentive, kept the vibes fun, and handled the busy bar like a pro. I’ll definitely be back for more! Great job, Torchy’s team!

Great place for a quick bite and the guacamole and queso are both great. Loved the brisket taco and the American taco. My wife loved her meal too. Great recommendation by our friends and would go back again if we see one.

The menu board for self checkout is not user friendly. Staff was to sparce to help. It took several tries to get it right. Couldn't delete items that came with standard menu. So frustrating and I lost my appetite by the time we ordered. Ugg!

My rating is being limited to their steak fajita tacos. This afternoon we ordered three beef fajita tacos and found that the meat was the toughest that we have ever eaten in the Austin area. We have ordered beef fajita tacos in at least six other restaurants in Austin and have never had anywhere near the tough steak as in our tacos today.

Usually very happy with Torchy’s. They were out of 4 different sodas and horchata and another drink. My chicken burrito had a bone in it. The staff was the only high point of this visit. Asked for extra chips, salsa, etc., and they were friendly and prompt. Really hate the kiosk ordering system. It’s not intuitive and I don’t understand why it asks for a tip. I really don’t want to start tipping a computer.

Bring back the front of house staff. Ordered to go via the website today and when I showed up 15 min past my pickup time my food was nowhere to be seen. I waited in line to inquire only to realize the order kiosks are not staffed, there was no staff anywhere to inquire with! Eventually I flagged down a frantic food runner who went back to look for my food. 10 min later it finally came out. Hire staff! We love the convenience of online and kiosk ordering but not at the cost of having no service. Surely one minimum wage employee manning your kiosk wouldn’t ruin your entire profit margin. Your order page said to inquire at the restaurant with questions, that’s kind of useless guidance without employees to ask, right?
