Awesome food. The service was spot on. The salsa was unbelievable. The sauces on the burritos was spectacular. Definitely freshly made. I can't say anything bad about my experience. My wife enjoyed a mojito and states it was really good. Great vegetarian options as well.

Great service. We had a party of 17. Only two people liked the food. I personally had an al pastor wet burrito. Didn't have enough seasoning. Not enough seasoning was the general consensus. My brother and his family really eat at a different SuperMex all the time, which they rave about. It happened to be closed that day, so we visited the Lakewood location.

I can't give any Mexican restaurant 5 stars, I am Mexican and grew up on homemade Mexican food. Simple enchiladas made by my mom would've leave every restaurant enchiladas as fast food quality. Had to disclose this. The food is good, the enchiladas were good, but haven't found any place to make enchiladas like mom. But the food by many peoples standard would be great. I did like their green rice, chips and salsa, there were 6 of us and we really liked the carnitas, the nachos were decent, the hot wings were just okay. Yes I would go back here again, I was here a few days before with one of my sisters for lunch. The place is clean, everyone was friendly and the prices are decent. No alcohol was ordered, our bill was $133, which is good, in my opinion. The chairs need cushions, hard wooden chairs are not that comfortable after a while.

The food is fantastic, no complaining on chips n salsa, burrito,tacos and enchilada. my only one star off and beef with this place is the fact that I had to wait 45 minutes when I came in to order takeout. meanwhile we were watching half the staff laughing n joking in the kitchen while patiently waiting for my takeout in wait area and was told fries were the hold up? Come on. Even while I waited I saw those with phone orders wait at least 15- 20 minutes for their order so I'm not sure what's going on here but most of us want to be out of their way and home. so less chatter n get us out faster please, I like the food here but I guess calling way ahead will be the best path for takeout.

Bad service at take out window, messaged company on their website after few times of bad service. Never heard back. Food is okay. They just don't seem to care anymore.

Used to eat there all the time I went there today and recently and their food the plate is half the size it used to be The prices are sky high and you get hardly anything on your plate The food don't even taste good like it used to I don't know what happened to them but SuperMax went down here and the service wasn't good either a waitress never waited on us we sat forever and had to get a manager and they're not even that friendly I don't know what happened to super Mex in Lakewood but it went to hell

We wanted the taco Tuesday special and the waitress gave us the premium tacos which costed us $8 per taco and a $3 premium charge . we thought it was the taco Tues special . She deceived us , so we would did not pay her a tip and will never go back to that location again . The total bill for combo fajitas and 6 tacos and 3 taco special costed us $89. Ridiculous

Had the worst burrito ever today! Usually this place is pretty good. Today I ordered the Green Chile Pork burrito. I literally got 6 pieces of pork in the whole burrito. I only use the buy one get one free coupon at Supermex because of the outrageous prices. This was just a rice burrito. Come on Lakewood Supermex, you have to do better!

Picked up take out order, I ordered a supermex asada burrito which barely had any asada. Finding some asada in the burrito was like finding Waldo it was all rice and beans and the couple strips of asada tasted rancid. Seems like they use their old meat for take out good since its hard to complain. My wife had the 3 chicken tacos which were barely wrapped in paper and just tossed to the bottom of the bag. You would think for the prices they charge that they would invest in some good take out containers thay fit all the food in one x. Sad sad place now. They even forgot my guacamole for my burrito. This once awesome place is now a shifty place and not recommended .

To go order includes 1 very small salsa and 2 chips. I asked for more salsa and they said I can pay for them. Ask to speak with the manager and he finally offered 2 very small salsa's Spent $39.00 and had to speak to the manager only to get 2 additional salsa. Ridiculous!!! I'll take our business elsewhere 👎👋
