It's TVilla! New wrapper, but the same wonderful food of my childhood. It says a lot that when childhood friends return to Lubbock, one of the first places they want to go is Taco Villa.

Taco Villa is the best. The good was great at this one. I just wish they could survive in North Texas. But it gives me a reason to drive out west.

Every time I go, the restaurant is very clean! Customer service is always on point and the food is good and you don't wait for it, it comes out fast!

The food was awesome as usual love their French fries. and is also appreciative that they would make people make where their masks when they were inside around other people awesome management

Chicken burrito was great, lots of chicken and veggies. I found out this location is locally owned and not with the franchise, so the menu is slightly different.

I love Taco Villa. 🌮. I have been a customer of them for over fifty years. I took my children there when they were very young, ages 2 and 4. They are now 54 and 52 and still like to eat there. Thank you for such great food and excellent service!

We enjoyed this quick bite. The service was friendly and welcoming. The food was fresh and tasted excellent. For a fast-food restaurant, the food was quite authentic! We also liked the large selection of menu items. There's something for everyone!

My family is new here to Texas, today for the first time in the three months that we have lived here we finally decided to try a Taco Villa here in Lamesa and from my understanding it is privately owned and it has more homemade ... making them better (lol) ingredients. Whether it does or not I have to say the people are very friendly and the food is amazing! Let's just say I'll never be stepping foot in a Taco Bell unless there are no Taco Villas around!

When I go to Taco Villa I get a meat burrito green extra cheese I have eaten this burrito and many different Taco bells and I will say by far this particular Taco Villa does the best I don't know if they do something different to their meat put the flavors great

The food is always good. The staff are friendly. The restaurant is always clean and so is the restrooms. I always stop when I go through Lamesa.

This was the second time we have stopped here on our way through Lamesa and we have been so pleased both times. I got nachos the last time and the nacho mexi curls with guacamole this time. Both dishes were very well prepared. I've been displeased with my local Taco Villas as of late, so I'm glad to have found such a stellar location on a frequent road trip for us.

I have stopped here many times on my travels to and from Houston and New Mexico. Never once have I been disappointed with the food or the service. Recently the exterior has been updated with new paint and generally a more pleasant, updated look. The restrooms are always clean and trash free. The staff are friendly and serve your order with a smile on their faces. My go to order is two red beef burritos. These are consistently delicious and well worth the price. I think what makes them great is the quality of the beef and the freshness of the ingredients. How they get the beef to be delicious and grease free is a mystery to me but it's always wonderful. The red sauce is like hot fudge on vanilla ice cream, a great addition! I recommend this restaurant!

Just passing through town on my way to UT. Ordered 2 crunchy taco w extra beef and 1 beef burrito w extra beef. Food was good, the girls behind the counter were great, and I paid about the same that I pay at Del Taco in Albuquerque 👍

Only issue I've had is asking for no ice in my drink & getting ice. Food is better than any other Taco Villa I've ever been to.

The town I live in does not have a Taco Villa, the town we used to live in did. Wife said "STOP THERE IS TACO VILLA" I am not stupid ... I stopped and we ate Taco Villa .... happy wife happy life. 😁

Decent food. A little bland for Tex-Mex, but they have a salsa bar to spice it up. I felt like the staff didn't appreciate my presence as a person just passing through on my motorcycle, but they weren't rude. Just not as friendly as to the other patrons.

Increased pressure from Taco Bell has forced Taco Villa to keep their prices low, and focus on their best products. This is a good thing, as their Combination Burrito is still just about unbeatable for its combination of melted cheese (not nacho cheese), beans, and beef. Their deluxe steak and chicken burritos are unique offerings with real, savory flavors. The chicken especially is made with chicken fajita meat, not shredded chicken paste. For the money, it's hard to beat Taco Villa for a refreshing change, if nothing else.

I had a lite lunch, 2 soft tacos, and a medium drink. which was good. It tasted a little different than other places ( tex-mex) that I've visited. Service was good, as was the food and prices.

Burritos were good but the take out I carried home about 1.5 hrs away didn't fare so well.

The meat and beans taste different than most Taco Villas but was still good.

Foods alright.. The people working here are very polite. Proably won't come back honestly if I'm in La mesa again.

Service was good. Taste of food was good. However the taco shells tasted as if they were stale.

Decent place if you're passing through and need something to eat on the fly. I do have to say to save everyone some trouble, just shout your order very slowly into the intercom. Or maybe they'll get it fixed. Either way it's a small town and just off the highway, get what you get.

Customer service was great but the food was definitely disappointing. Some of the burritos were sadly small and not filled with the normal amount of meat or beans. Taste was fine but not a good value for size and price.

The burritos are pretty good here. They will fix them any way you want within reason. The tacos aren't anything special. There sre other places I like better.

59¢ for red sauce on a burrito is crazy when it's common Taco Villa practice that the burrito comes with red sauce. I'm not surprised this store is only open until 5 now. Taco Villa in Midland is always popping maybe they should take notes.

The service was okay but the food was nothing like the Taco Villa in Amarillo. This was in Lamesa Texas. Not so bueno

Got a chicken taco salad. They was stingy with their chicken and the tortilla shell was chewy and tough (may have been sitting out for a while).

Business hours are supposedly to 11 p.m. there were two cars parked behind the building the radio the still playing the drive-through mean you was still lit as if they were open at 10p.m. however no one seemed to be at work...... That doesn't necessarily mean they weren't there. That is extremely aggravating!

This Taco Villa's food does not taste like normal Taco Villa food. The ground beef, chicken, and Tortillas all seem to be subpar.

The rice was over cooked and had burn left on top texure to it beans was dried out like crumble . Service was ok quality control need to be observed before the food goes out

Just not a great villa. The fajita tacos just dont have the same taste and tenderness. Last time I asked for no tomato on all my food. Tomato on everything. Will not stop again.

Cold flavorless bean burritos. The Pico and the chiles we're good, but I won't willingly eat here again. Every horizontal surface felt sticky first thing in the morning. Yikes

As others stated, this place does not meet the standards of Taco Villa's in Lubbock or Midland/Odessa. The place was very dirty. Floors were sticky and drinks were spilled every where. There were 4 people making food/"hanging out" and being mismanaged instead of focusing on what needed to be done. Nachos were very stale, this also seems to be of occurrence after reading the comments. I'm sad to see Taco Villa being represented in the fashion. I've always been a lifelong fan.

Not the same experience as other Taco Villas in the Permian Basin. Burritos didn't even have the usual red sauce on them and I asked for tomatoes but those didn't make it on there either. Plus the drive through was very slow.

The burrito my daughter had was okay; she liked it. I ordered 2 tacos and the curly fries. I did not like it. The taco shells were extremely stale and tough; not crispy at all and the curly fries were soggy and greasy. UNACCEPTABLE! There was a time when one could count on a tasty meal at Taco Villa, but no more! Terrible!

Slower than Dairy Queen 🤣 I'm the only vehicle in drive through over 10 minutes. Burritos were cold, definitely a red flag.

Ok so I have had bad food before but I think this tops it its been about 10 minutes and my stomach is in extreme pain I had high hopes and they were false got to the McDonald's or subway they are probably a whole lot better

We were not able to be served, as my husband does and cannot wear a mask. He has a service dog for his condition. The lady there started off with an attitude. Will never go there again!!!!!!!

Can't find worse food than here.. Taco Hell around the corner is a million times better...

Three times in a row that I've eaten there or my family and I the burritos tasted like chemicals so that's one place I will not go back to it was so bad that it made all of us sick we couldn't finish eating

Food is not Taco Villa authentic at all. The only thing worse is the attitude of the employees. There is a happy ex-husband of one of them in there I am sure.

Rather eat taco bell. Service is horrible and the food tastes like canned mush. It is not even cheap. However would recommend for anyone that is backed up. My stomach still hurts.

This wasnt even Mexican Food..I ordered the number 7..Hamburger, Fries, Quesavilla..She asked do i want mexi curl fries..they where basic curly fries nothing speical, hamburger was hamburger meat with lettuce and cheese, and a small quesdilla. Nothing on there menu is likes its pictures on there menu. I could have gotten better food at Stripes across the street and better hamburger at McDonalds.

This place doesn't deserve a freaking star the food was awful taco shells were stale meat looked old and tasted like a bad stomach ache guacamole was all black steak meat was tough and tasted nasty I do not I repet do not recommend this establishment to anyone looking to eat here .you are better off eating at taco bell 🔔 just a block away from this crapy food trust me taco bell is a 5 star compared to taco villa .unless you are looking to get food poisoning then be my guest .never again will I ever stop ere to eat I would rather starve and that's the truth

If you enjoy killing roaches at your table as you’re eating then go here. I killed one ON our table while I was eating. I saw more than one crawling out of the napkin holder. Disgusting.

If I could give this place a worse rating I would I got the chicken quesadilla and there was little cheese it was burnt and greesy they use a tiny stove for on the go they didn't look use in the eyes if I was a food critic they would be shut down for the unsanitary conditions I'd recommend driving a little further and going to McDonald's

I was excited about getting Taco Villa since we don't have one where I live. I was very disappointed. Burrito tortilla was hard and stale and the meat didn’t taste good and was not the normal fill of meat. I called to let them know I was disappointed in my food and was told they are not affiliated with the other Taco Villas! How can they use the name then! Definitely a knock off and not nearly as good. Will never go there again.

Not a real taco villa. They don't use the same tortilla, nor cheese as real taco villas. They also will mop the floor while you are eating and ignore the nasty bathrooms. So annoying.

This location is a place we frequent when we pass through which is often. It seems like every time there is a issue, from rude employees to bad food. Customers expect to be treat friendly and like we are wanted, because we don't have to spend our hard earn money there. Everytime seems to be worse then the time before. We are done with Lamesa Taco Villa. Get your ACT together.

Stale taco shell hardly anything inside the taco, bean burrito was also poorly put together . I waited 10 mins for two basic items and I was the only person there ordering. Odessa's owners and quality is so much better then lamesas

Absolute trash. I feel sorry for those who haven't have Taco Villa in Amarillo or Canyon Texas. Hard flakey tortilla, low grade beans, a staff that is rude and trashy makes this a TV I'll never return to. A simple request "please don't fill my cup with ice to the top" and they can't even do that. Thank you for wasting my time and money. Horrible food and worse service. Not how most other locations taste or are ran.

I kept looking at the name to see if Taco Villa was spelled differently, I am convinced that this place is a knock off of the real Taco Villas. The only thing that had the right logo was the cups. They use a different cheese, the burritos are hard as a rock, and it was missing the good taste I am used to. Very suspicious

This place doesn't hold a candle to the Taco Villa in Big Spring. If you're heading south on hwy 87, just hold off for 45 more minutes and you'll be glad you did! Customer service is terrible, you WILL have a wait, and there always seem to be some issue with the order.

While it’s a cute, clean space…it’s different food than traditional taco villas…also, terrible service, wrong orders, and slow.

Struggled with order. Taco burger should have been a simple order. Buns old. Tasted terrible. I’m from Odessa and I grew up on Taco Villa. This location was terrible. Won’t be back.

Taco Villa is my favorite restaurant but not this location. My taco salad shell very old and i have only 4 small pieces chicken and my husband burritos so dried. Please don't stop eat here.

really bad customer service left me waiting in the drive-thru even though they opened in 3 minutes did not come on the intercom say anything and had a bad attitude whenever I drove up to the window add service was reflected in the food only eat there if you like salt..... Tortillas are always stale and most the time get your order wrong . I don’t go there anymore. Very disappointing compared to “Lubbock “ taco villas.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. Terrible TERRIBLE customer service (and this is coming from someone who spent two years waitressing) lady was rude - we arrive at 9:41. 19 full minutes before close. They had already turned the fryers off so no fries (lazy). They forgot our limes so we got back in line to receive them. Once we got back to the window I watched her grab them and put them in the little container. She then took them in the back with her (don't know what she did to them but definitely not eating them). There was a hair in them after I got them so no telling. Half way tempted to see if I can reach out to the food inspector in this area.

Fries were not cooked. Counter tops and tables were very dirty. Disgrace to the Taco Villa name.

LAMESA TACO VILLA- It gets worse every time we come to this location!! We went through the drive through. Told the girl our order twice and she got the ENTIRE order wrong. We asked for extra cheese and they loaded our burritos with super spicy green sauce (not a piece of cheese) we couldn’t even eat it it was so hot. The tortillas were dried out and crumbled when you grabbed onto them. We ordered 3 crispy chicken tacos and we got all beef and the taco shells were so stale it wasn’t even worth eating them. I understand people make mistakes but this is unacceptable. The entire order was wrong and the quality of food was inedible. I called to let the girl know and she said “that’s what you ordered”. She didn’t offer to make it right she just wanted to argue that this is what we ordered. $16 in the trash. We will not be back and we urge others not to waste their time and money. They need to make some major changes. This is not Taco Villa quality food or service!

Worst Taco Villa I have ever been to. Burritos were flavorless and the beans were CLEARY watered down. You could tell it wasn’t the same ingredients as all the beans the other locations. Employees were rude about trying to switch normal fries to curly and wanted to charge us more for this? Never has this been a thing and we’ve loved and eaten at Taco Villas for years in towns all over. Should have stopped at the convenience store across the road.

It was a horrible experience I wanted the family pack of bean burritos upgraded to combos I was told it was not allowed from manager and employee I have never so then I go to ordering them separate and ask for them to be grilled and again I was told they were not allowed to grill the burritos I have ordered this same order for years I do not now what is going on but pls avoid this restaurant they are using a home griddle to warm tortillas this is upsetting to see how far this restaurant has declined

This has got to be the worst Taco Villa I’ve ever stopped at… they started by taking my order from the drive thru window yelling across the kitchen. Then they said “we don’t do that” when I asked for a toasted burrito. The burritos were small and different tortillas like they were using small mission tortillas. They charge for a water cup and the fries were soggy and tasted like dirty oil. Such a terrible experience and Taco Villa is one of our favorites

Honestly it wasn't very good at all most of the tables were dirty when there were multiple employees and an empty lobby. The employees were obnoxious. The food was like gas station food probably would have been cheaper and tasted better

Every Saturday night after church (just after 6pm) I stop by Taco Villa to order a bean burrito Extreme and a drink. But this weekend when I stopped by, it was closed! The door was locked, the lights were off, no one was inside...and people were pulling up to the drive thru hoping to get some food and obviously they couldn't! I Googled "Lamesa Taco Villa" after I got home and it said the restaurant closed...at 5 o'clock!!!!!! REALLY???? Most people eat supper at that time! Who is the so-called "genius" who decided to close the restaurant at such an early hour???? Whoever it was, they need to rethink this decision or else you're going to lose more customers. You don't see McDonald's or Pedroza's closing at 5 do you??? PLEASE keep Taco Villa open during the nighttime hours!!!!

Absolutely horrible the employees were very rude. They were all outside when we went to leave in the road looking at us not letting us go by then when we finally get by they say your welcome? When we were being very patient with them just absolutely ridiculous. Very disrespectful I’ve never left a review before but employees acting like that is ridiculous!

This place is really going downhill. You can't change regular fries to curly fries and you can't change from a crispy taco to a soft taco. They have to charge it separately. I eat at taco villa all over the place and never have had this issue at any of them. They must not like their customers. Won't be back here!!! This is the one in Lamesa texas. Do better

This location has really gone downhill. I got a chicken quesadilla and it was burned. It smelled burned from the bag. There was also hardly anything inside of it. The curly fries tasted stale and like they were either reheated or kept under a heat lamp way too long. They were soft and not fresh. To pay $11 for this kind of lunch is disappointing

Really had higher hopes for this place. Walked in and dude behind register didn't even look at us much less greet us (we were the only ones inside). Rolled up to counter to order and make eye contact and waited on him....awkward much. Finally ordered. Felt like we were bothering him on his time. Went and sat down at table (still only ones in restaurant). Our food got made and boxed, and sat around. Wife wondered over to see if our food had been made when a female worker asked if we had ordered yet. Wife pointed at bagged food and ask if that was "our order?" Seems they would have just left it on the counter had we not asked. Wife's taco shell was stale. My quesavilla wasn't even cooked/toasted - just folded in half and quartered. Both of our meats were hard, chewy and stringy. First impression - take a HARD PASS. At least the inside looked nice and was clean.

Sat at the drive through for over 10 mins. You can see the cars at the front that look like they are open. Honked and said hello a few times. Finally decided to drive to the window and see heat lamps on and people in the kitchen. Then read the sign at the window not on the drive through that says “new” fall hours 11am. Really?!?!?! How is anyone suppose to know this? I mean they were there, could they not have said over the intercom outside? Just saying.

I was so looking forward to eating Taco Villa! It’s been a year without it... we pull in at 9:20pm they don’t close until 11:00 pm... I waited a full 7 minutes for her to get back to me on the speaker. She tells me they don’t have fries.. I ask if they can make something else for the kids meal... she said no the can’t hand anything else out with it only upsize the drink! I just decided to go with the soft Tacos and bean and cheese burrito and a drink. I pull up and she doesn’t come to the window, she is making the drink. Then she walks over proceeds to make our food. NO GLOVES! NO HAND WASH! 😳🤢 then she touches her head set, to take an order walks around the counter, touches said counter. Then comes back with a handful of lettuce from God knows where and puts it in my kids soft Tacos.. then grabs cheese! I’m literally disgusted! I drove away! Severely grossed out and disappointed! I really wanted Taco Villa! Especially since I don’t live near one anymore!! Here is the video and pictures of her without gloves making our food!
