Forget the food I'm here for Betty. She is amazing. She has a great attitude and made my experience better than a 10/10! Next time I come to shlotzskys I'm going to ask for Betty specifically.

My husband saw the restaurant and stopped. He found a place nearby to park . Went in ordered his favorite sandwich and got 1 for me. It was delicious. It was so big that we could not even eat it all, next time we will share.

The line at the drive through was really slow but the windows attendant was very courteous

This is our go to spot on our late evening trips out to West Texas. It is very conveniently located and is across the street from a park if you need to take a little walk. The staff is very friendly. The store and restrooms are always clean. We don't usually have to wait long at all for our food as we usually arrive around 8:00 pm on a Friday. They close at 9:00pm. Occasionally we arrive after 1:00pm when the wait is a bit longer. This visit I enjoyed one of the tastiest original Schlotzsky's ever. I was so impressed I had to compliment the staff which brought smiles to their faces and motivated me to write this review.

Very friendly cashier and the sweet young lady that brought us our sandwich was happy to cut it in half for us. She even included an extra pickle at no cost. Also, Rhett had a vegetarian option thay was excellent.

This is the best Schlotzskys I've been to in a long time. The Austin area locations are less friendly. We got a chicken BBQ pizza. It isn't really a pizza, but it was delicious!

They might be a little short staffed but the assistant manager Corey works hard with a smile on his face! I couldn’t be mad about the wait if I wanted to! Give him a raise!

What a pleasant surprise this place was! We were not planning on stopping here but so very glad we did. We love Schlotzsky’s but the service here is what was unmatched! They were so friendly and kind and really went above and beyond. They ever brought our food to our table. We’ll be stopping here again next time we’re passing through.

Wow talk about a total 180. I actually stopped coming here about two years due to really bad service… well tonight we decided to give it a try and man I’m glad we did, even though we got food to go we decided to order inside instead of doing the drive through… this is where we met Betty. From the moment we met her she walked us through the menu and even recommended a couple of things for us to try. Got home and we couldn’t keep commenting about the service we received from Betty! We will definitely be back.

Mrs.Betty was completely amazing during my visit there.she treats all her customers as if they were family. She didn't hesitate at all to make sure my order was done correctly. She is the perfect example of going above and beyond for her customers!!!

Service was prompt and correct. Our sandwich was prepared fresh and two starving people drove back to Hamilton happy and sated! The Bacon bun is a super delish addition to the menu. So glad we were in time to try it!

Typically food is fresh and delish but my sandwich seemed a bit overcooked, it was hard. Still delicious and better than that "sub..." place. This location is clean, very friendly and their spread of Cinnabon always has me tempted haha I'll be back for another sandwich

It is difficult to find a place with something besides french fries that our granddaughter can eat with all of her allergies. The staff was very helpful in helping us make our educated decision on what to order for her. They even brought our a box their product for the gluten free dough comes in. Unfortunately the soy being the number 2 allergy she has just below eggs meant no pizza.

How I haven't been here in forever, it was fan fantastic and delicious! The smokey cheesy sandwich I had made me almost go up for another. Being I didn't get in again before I parted town I would be back again in my travel to: taste the great food agin, visiting a clean building and exterior, and nice friendly staff that were awesome.

We were 3 quilt ladies who did not make supper for our retreat. They could not have been more helpful with a solution. We had wonderful sandwiches that were cut into fourths, veggies and condiments packed up on the side so they wouldn't get soggy. So accommodating and nice.

The food here is absolutely fabulous! I love it so much. We all enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It didn't take long at all during the lunch rush hour. I got the half sandwich and half salad, beef sandwich and chicken with apple salad. This chicken with apples and cranberries is hands down the best salad! My daughter orders the full salad and it is two meals!! My mom and dad got the brisket sandwiches, simply divine melt in your mouth good! And last but not least, my other half got the half Mac and half salad. He scarfed it down and stayed full all day!! We love it, even though it is a bit pricier than other places, but the food quality is fantastic

This restaurant is always consistent. The store is clean and well maintained. The service is fast . The staff is friendly and helpful. The restroom was clean . They have a wide variety of food items pizza , salads, sandwiches. They have plenty of soft drinks too . They have Cinnabon also plus brownies, cookies . We got the large original meal and split it . She gave us to medium cups a gave us separate plates. Which I thought was very considerate and kind . I would most definitely recommend this place. I forgot to mention the food was hot and delicious.

Ordered the original sandwich . It was very good, especially the bread which had just the right amount of crunchy cheese cooked into it. One of the better schlotzkys I've had & I've had alot of em from different stores.

Great spot!! Stopped here today on my way through town with my 1yo and 4yo. The staff was super accommodating and helpful, they noticed I had my hands full and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The manager, Betty, even brought my kids a warm cookie to split. Food was very good as well. Highly recommend.

If you're in Lampasas don't forget to order their "Original" sandwiches. Mmmm...good! The service was fast, correct and tasty

Great food and service. The manager, Susan is very welcoming and always greets us with a smile. The rest of the staff is great and very friendly as well. I love that they have vegetarian and even vegan options, and are willing to modify the items on the meals to make them so. One of our favorite places to dine in.

Every time we come through lampasas we come to Schlotskys. The food is great! There is this guy there who is incredible. His name is corey he’s always there! Always friendly and professional. He does it all. Tonight he took our order, filled it and was amazing. Sitting here eating our yummy dinner and he’s looking the floors. Whoever owns this restaurant better appreciate this young man and do something extra special to keep him! He’s been here for a long time.

Awesome experience at Schlotzskys today. Cory the assistant manager was so helpful and friendly. He was polite and truly respectful, you don’t get service like he gave very often anymore. I unfortunately don’t have a picture of our sandwiches but they were delicious and had very generous amount of meat and veggies on them. The restaurant was super clean. Even the bathrooms. Someone was cleaning the entire time we were there to ensure it stayed super clean. Great service, great food, it was just a great experience.

Well I haven't been here sense we tried it once when we moved here, wasn't all that crazy for their sandwiches, but the other day my friend wanted it and she ordered I and her California chicken flatbread and I was really impressed with it. So if I go there now it's the flatbread style pizza I'll order still not fond of the sandwiches.

Fast service and friendly staff. Food is good here. This location wasn't terribly busy when I visited, which is a plus, though I was there at 10 am and the vast majority of the human race seems to think that 12 noon is the only time they can eat lunch. Would definitely stop here again, if I'm passing through.

I ordered through the app and said I would be there by a certain time. I got there 15 minutes late and they had not only not made my sandwich, but I had to wait for them to make it. I had asked them since they were making it to add pickles and mayonnaise. They added four pickles and no mayonnaise. I was very disappointed. If I hadn’t got back on the highway traveling, I would’ve turned around and taken it back to them. It was very dry and hard to eat.

A great choice for something different in the Lampassas. New since the last time we had driven through. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. As we were working to keep moving towards Hurst TX, so it service seemed a bit slow. Fresh hot food or quick service. We dined in so a few extra minutes wait was ultimately worth it. Main dining area was clean and staff were friendly and courteous. My BBQ Chicken and Jalapeño Pizza was great. Best in many recent visits to this chain.

First time my pizzas were not made the way I requested... I always ask for extra sauce and it was not done. It is important that the order ticket be read completely by pizza/sandwich artisan and the order filled to specifications.

Good sandwich but drive through usually poses a challenge. The folks in front of had a billing issue and then ours was incorrect. If you get a deluxe ask them to spread the extra meat around or you get a mountain in the middle.

Food was good, but they didnt seem equipped.for the amount of customers they had. There was an endless line at the soda machine and twice they had to stop to service the machine. Furthermore, my fiance got a roast beef sand which. There was barely any roast beef and when we mentioned it to the manager, he made a joke about how their products dont look like the advertised picture because the picture was taken in Austin. Then he laughed and walked away. We won't be going back.

Stopped by Schlotzsky/Cinnabon in Lambasas today. There was a long wait to get to the window even though there was only two cars ahead of me. It was warm, which was good, but you can tell that this Cinnamon Roll was not the freshest. It looks as if some of the cinnamon and sugar burned on the bottom. It didn't taste burnt though. It was hard around the outside. They used to be very gooey looking and soft all over when biting or sticking a fork in it. It was ok but could have been much better.

one section w chairs all tables were dirty but 1. we were only customer other than 1 with 3.Floor with food on it. all booths were empty and I am handicapped have to have a chair. people were nice. but not keeping up house keeping. I notice more as I did this for a living.bbbu

They are always crazy slow, they always forget my chips when I go through the drive thru. And when I went there Saturday the manager chewed out her employee right in front of me and my friend. I just think it’s super unprofessional to talk down to your employees in front of your customers. And if that was my manager I’d quit. Nobody should let anyone treat them like that! It really put a grey cloud over our lunch.

Over price sandwiches... I did care paying$12.00 for the combo sandwich, drink, and a bag of chips, but the amount of meat was a joker. It was my first time eating in this restaurant and I felt like I didn't get my dollars worth. Half of sandwiches was missing the meat...next time I go there it will be for the cinnamon bun bread only. This restaurant weigh and measure the amount of meat they put in the sandwich... Quality of food was good, but the value for what you get sucks.

Took our gang in for some Cinnabon’s. The girl at the counter took our order and just stood there. After asking the total we were able to pay... She boxed everything up and I asked if we could get plates as we were dining in. I was told ya after I get her pointing to the woman behind me. I asked if we could get them now so our food doesn’t get cold and after a nasty look heavy sigh she stormed off to the back. Hands me 4 plates, I mentioned we had 6 people and I guess I confused her? Pointed out I had 4 plates in my hand but ordered 6 buns so I needed 2 more. Same reaction as before. I don’t understand why it was such a big deal and don’t care for the way we were treated. Unimpressed with the service at this location!

The lady (Cox) taking the order was very friendly. We waited for our order longer than it should have taken. The two people that ordered after us, received their order. Cox saw us and asked if we got our food yet? She went to get it , but then she came back and started cleaning in dining area. We still didn't have our food. She looked up at one point seeing us sitting there without our food. She asked again, You don't have your order yet? No we don't. She went back to kitchen and came back with 2 of the sandwiches. She said they were waiting on bread. The people before us that got their order first, had bread???? She then brought out our soup and pizza, which were both cold. My Granddaughter ate the pizza cold, but I had to go get them to heat the soup in the microwave. I wanted to give a good review for the lady taking the order, but beyond that the rest was a failure. The kitchen or communication between the front and back broke down, I live in Lampasas, but it will be a while before we come back. The last time we were in the soda machine was having problems.

Place is dirty, all tables with food or dried food on them. Where’s the manager? Food was good, one staff member friendly BUT Don’t go inside you want want to eat the food when you see where it comes out of.

The food was very good as you’d expect at a Schlotzsky’s, my problem was with how long it took. It took me just over an hour to order and then wait for my food with 45 minutes of that waiting for a small original sandwich. I was sitting right in front of the counter watching everyone else wait very long as well with a couple orders coming out missing items. After it seemed like my order should have been next and I still got nothing I eventually had to ask which finally prompted them to make my sandwich and bring it out. Really not sure what was going on here but it took forever so I’d really have to say avoid if it looks like there’s more than just two or three other people here.

Sunday @ 3:45 pm. Inefficient staff. Slow. I ordered online. I watched it sit there on counter. Three different times someone checks reciept and looks in bag and goes about other things, but whoever supposed to check if everything is in order before handed to customer was a complete fail. The 2 people in front of me just waiting on something, took a good 3 minutes just to be handed 3 empty cups. They were dining in. It would have taken 10 seconds to acknowledge them and quickly hand them their drink cups. My garlic bread was missing. The cookie was missing. All I ordered was a salad and a kids meal. Furthermore, schlotzskys needs to bring back honey mustard... it's on the online order website as available however, they do not have it anymore. My husband said the avocado cobb salad is not what it used to be. Quality way down. That's our favorite menu item.

I was in the drive-through for probably 15 minutes. And I finally get out and ask the lady that I’m behind what she ordered and it was a pizza. So I have her pull forward. I go around and go in the store and ask for the sandwich that I bought or to cancel the order. My food was done and waiting on the lady in front of me’s pizza to be finished . Maybe look at using examples from other restaurants to move the line along if waiting on an order. Schlotzsky’s is known for being slow but little efficiencies like this we’re just not doing pizzas in the drive-through might help. The young lady working the counter was super nice, but it just wasn’t run very efficiently.

Disappointing experience. Our family was back in TX, visiting, and were excited to stop at one of our favorite eating establishments. The sandwiches were so bare on ingredients! Included a picture of an original that was supposed to have no onion. Could count the individual shreds of lettuce and olives on our hands. Our two other sandwiches were also sparse or just missing an ingredient altogether. We will not return to this location in the future.

I am so tired of being disappointed with this Schlotzsky’s. I constantly get undercooked pizza every single time there’s more than 2 cars in the drive through. I pay all this money and then have to come home and put it in the oven. No matter how many people are in line, the food should be cooked the right way every single time. And on top of that we almost always get the wrong order for pretty much anything we order. They just don’t do a very good job at all and they arent paying attention to what they are putting in the bags. There’s a reason that everyone in town knows to ALWAYS check their bags before they leave there. I keep giving them a chance here and there and each time I think...why? Just wasted money again.

Why am I prompted to leave a tip when I order my fast food to-go order at counter???!!! It's based on service after I enjoy my food when I am served.

This was the worst place to eat because of the people that work there, the Owner said my order was right & it wasn't! He had an ego problem instead of helping the customer. There was not very much meat on my sandwich making it taste like only hard bread. Subway is the much better choice in this location.

I ordered a sandwich online. No MAYO with jalapeños, peppers, lettuce and tomatoes Received a sandwich WITH MAYO and the veggies I asked for. I took it back up their and the sandwich they made had NO MAYO and NO VEGGIES. I am not driving up there a third time.

We went around 8 pm last night. The lady at the front seemed higher than a kite. Any time we tried to order anything she would stare then say we don't have it. She would buffer for a bit then go oh yeah we do but we don't have it. Any how we get a different sandwich and ask for broccoli and cheese soup and potatoe soup. She says they don't have any potatoe soup. Our friend gets in line next asks for potato soup and she gives them potatoes soup. We take our food home. There was no broccoli cheese soup in our bag just potato soup they said they didn't have any our sandwichs burnt. The food was super nasty. Even our friends food was burnt. Most of the staff were huddled in the back arguing how to spell salmon when we came in.

I would not give this one star but had to, in order to post. I have not been to this place in 4 years because the food was bad as well as the service. I gave it another try & will never again, when asked to have my money given back to me for sandwiches that were substandard & the treatment I recieved, I was threatened with the Police by the owner. I think the former 'good Google' reviews are fictitious, that's too many people with too many good reviews & this is the real world. The sandwiches are stale, & the owner is rude & threatening.

Ordered our food and I asked for ranch instead of mayo on my sandwich. We get our drinks and chips and sit down. We’re waiting probably close to 30-40 minutes. It wasn’t busy, maybe 2 other small groups in there and didn’t notice anyone in the drive thru. My husband goes up to the counter and the woman who originally took our order acted like we were new customers so clearly she didn’t remember taking our order. Don’t recall her name, but her tag said team lead and she was older with brown hair. My husband told her they forgot about us to which she responds the ticket never made it to the back and our food will be out shortly. It comes out and looks absolutely sad, plus my sandwich had mayo on it not ranch like I asked. At this point, we’re annoyed. We bring the food up and ask for a refund. She offers to remake it. My husband told her no because we waited long enough and will take our business elsewhere. She takes our card and original receipt. A few days pass and we were only partially refunded. We were still charged $15.57. My husband called and I emailed corporate. When he called, all they told him was they’d look into it. Code for they won’t do anything about it. I received an email apologizing for my experience and 50 bonus points. I had to go to my credit card company to dispute the charge. Don’t come here if you’re looking for tasty, quick sandwiches. This place is a joke. Thankfully, we know just this Schlotskys is terrible. We had a great experience at the one in Sweetwater.

Second time here in from out of town. Handed my bag that was torn and greasy on one side asked for another bag. Employee so rude brought plastic bag to me dropped it on counter. Should have been huge red flag but try to give food benefit of doubt. The sandwiches were horrible asked for them to be heated they were cold. Bread tasted about 3 days old. Ordered soup 1/2 full. Wald just thrown in upside down.. salad dressing all over inside bag. We didn't know till we got back to work so bad just throwing it away. Absolutely will be calling Mgr in morning this is absolutely unacceptable.

They treat people like trash and I will never go there again

Ordered 3 pizzas on $5 pizza night. Waited 15 minutes at the window after paying. I was asked to pull forward to wait. I waited another 15 minutes. They forgot my ranch so my daughter went in to get it. The ladies behind the counter proceeded to talk bad about me not knowing it was my daughter waiting in line. "Is she still here"? And then said "she's probably only here because it's $5 night". Very rude service and long wait time.

I usually love the location in Schertz, which is a suburb of San Antonio. ... This location is a rip off ... My husband's #8 only had one thin slice of meat, very little bacon and he couldn't find the cheese. ... The kid's grilled cheese had VERY LITTLE cheese, mostly bread. ... I would not stop there again. ... EDIT: THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! ... Upon reading more reviews, I noticed the owner replied to the bad reviews with the same canned answer. ... PAY ATTENTION TO THE BAD REVIEWS. This place is bad, should NOT be named Schlotsky's.

I door dash and the manager in lampasas said I could no longer door dash from them because I don't meet their standards!! But I could spend my money there!!

Unfortunately we received very unprofessional service in the drive thru from Ella and shift manager Justin on Friday morning of February 13th. We ordered 2 small sandwiches, 1 large tea, and asked for a cup of water. After reviewing my receipt I noticed that I was charged $3.19 for the water. I kindly asked Ella to refund the water and tried to hand her the cup back. She said it was policy. I asked to speak with a manager on duty, she hesitated to get one. Finally Justin came to the window and started to lecture me and stated I did not ask for the "water cup". I asked him to refund the $3.19 water and also tried to hand the cup back to him. He refused to refund me, nor take the cup back. It's unfortunate as we visit this location often when we travel to the Metroplex. We are in communication with Corporate to share our frustration and will no longer spend our money with this business.

Took 30 minutes in drive thru, two cars ahead, to get food. 10 minutes to get to window. Cashier could not give proper change - that took 5 minutes; no receipt. Then waited over 10 minutes more at window, getting food ONLY when we knocked on window to ask where it was. Ticket in bag showed it had been made 22 minutes before we received it. Bag was sitting on counter at window. Employee running window nowhere to be found. Food was cold, bread soggy. This will be my last trip to any Schlotzky's.

I came into the drive through on a road trip to pick up my son. I ordered my sandwich with gluten free bread and no cheese due to an allergy. I guess my order got mixed up with someone else’s. They made me go back to my car to grab my receipt, to prove what I ordered or put some employees in check, either way, it was inconvenient enough that I had to go back inside to get my order fixed in the first place. When they said they’d remake the sandwich, I asked for a refund because I was in a rush. The manager stayed in the back working on other orders; when he finally did come up, he gave me the fixed sandwich and said he can’t give me a refund due to making the sandwich already (: overall a negative experience.

Absolutely terrible product. Ordered two albuquerque turkey sandwiches both of which were given to me with next to no toppings. This isnt the first time they have basically robbed me for what i purchased but it will be the last time. Dont expect to get what you are paying for at this location.
