Saw they are opening a location in Azusa so was in the AV and decided to try it out. Food was very good. The pastor tacos were authentic with the sliced pineapple on top. And that green salsa is PERFECT!

Consistency is important to me as a consumer and I always find that here. Great place to grab a quick bite or have lunch, also new late night hours on Fri and Sat makes it super convenient for me.

Tacos are my favorite food and since i recently moved to the AV, i made it a mission to find my go-to taco place and Tacos El Superior is by far the best! Everything i have tried on the menu is delicious and i always crave this place! The staff is also sweet and attentive.

My new favorite thing about Tacos El Superior is their extended hours! When you want some good, flavorful, authentic, tacos after working late and not eating all day; Tacos El Superior is open and ready for you! I’m happy y’all brought the chorizo back!!

I love the idea of authentic Mexican food being available via drive thru! just had some great food and speedy service via drive thru a tacos el superior. I ordered a burrito al pastor, a few different tacos & of course the Pina superior for the heat 🤤. My buddy let me try his horchata cold brew and this is a must have! I also got some grilled onions and jalapeños on the side, such a great touch. Keep up the great work & service I’ll will definitely be back to try more. Wish I would’ve taken pics of the food but I ate that whole order right up!

Needed some late night tacos, and this place was close and open. We were impressed by the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the restaurant. The carnitas and al pastor tacos were a favorite, and the salsas were amazing! Good rice, beans, and fries. Will definitely be returning soon!

This has quickly become our taco and burrito joint of choice! My goodness, it's tasty. I'm a big fan of the al pastor burrito with pineapple with green salsa. Something about the savory meat and sweet fruit gets it done. Their fries are something special, too. Breaded, fried, and seasoned, they are crispy and tasty! I'm pretty sure they squeeze a little lime on them too!

Tacos El Superior.. I highly recommend this place to all taco lovers. I specially love the asada tacos and their asada sopes. I also recommend the Tacos dorados de papa when they are available. The restaurant and the parking at this location is rather small but very inviting. It's very clean and has friendly staff.

OK, you guys now the taste is good. The portions are small depending on who is back there cooking they’ll give you old taco shells when they’re supposed to give it to you may fresh. I ordered a carne asada burrito and the meat was over cooked and had no flavor, the beans were terrible and the rice was dry. My husband had the quesa birria tacos and said they were good.

The food was good, not great. The drinks were very good. The reason for 3 stars is the size to price ratio, the food was too small for the price. For 2 adults we spent $50 for 5 tacos, 1 sope, 1 carnitas quesadilla, 3 queso birria, 2 drinks, and 2 churros. This does sound like a lot, but all the tortillas were the smaller street size (including the sope), except for the quesadilla, which was about 10 inch flour tortillas. Usually the quesadillas are 12-13.5 inch flour tortilla. So with this amount, we expected so have a bit of leftovers for the next morning. Zero. We barely got full. So might not come here again...

STINGY WITH THE SAUCE !!! Their prices don’t match the quality! Some days you get what you pay for & some days you wish you would have just stayed home and cooked yourself, the burritos always have very little meat so I usually just order tacos, which most times the shells be hella dry & to make it worst they are stingy with their sauce , so like if I’m paying $30 for 2 meals with no drinks you could at least give me sauce for no extra charge.

Always good food! Honestly one of my go to’s for taco truck style Mexican food. EDIT: One year update, they’ve begun to really shrink portion sizes. The picture is a burrito cut in half, with my small hands (lol). All the recent reviews have been talking about their portion sizes. If they continue down this trend, I will have to find a new go-to spot. Changed my 5 star review to a 3 star.

The horchata’s good. But don’t ask for cold brew cause it’s not ready an hour after they’ve opened. Also, the fries aren’t ready so don’t bother with a combo. We waited for about 30+ minutes in the drive thru after ordering 2 taco meals with rice and beans and 1 side of rice and beans for our toddler. My husband and I got different drinks but they both had a bitter after taste like some kind of cleaner so we didn't drink them. The only difference in our meals was my husband got 1 pollo taco and I didn't. A few hours later and he's puking his brains out. Just save yourself the long wait, the money and the food poisoning and go elsewhere.

After spending almost $30 I received the saddest most driest nachos I have ever seen in my life. Half of the things you order they claim are not on menu. The nacho cheese was thin & watery it didn’t cover my nachos at all cheese was just sitting underneath my nachos. Didn’t even add my guacamole, avocado dip or salsa. This used to be my favorite taco/birria chain but they fell off so bad. The food is crazy expensive & the quality is terrible. I hope they fix it because I really did like this place.

As a customer, I was quite dismayed by several issues that I believe warrant your attention. ¹Firstly, upon entering the premises, I was immediately struck by a very unpleasant odour that was difficult to ignore. This led me to almost leave the establishment before even placing an order. It is baffling to me that a business in the hospitality sector would neglect such a fundamental aspect of customer experience. Secondly, I found the service at the register to be less than satisfactory. It was neither efficient nor welcoming, which further detracted from what should have been an enjoyable dining.

I asked for onion and cilantro on the side, waited for my order, and when I got home, it was missing. I called to let them know, and the manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. She told me there was nothing she could do unless I drove 30 minutes back to the restaurant, and even said, “What do you want me to write your name down for free onion and cilantro?”—very snarky and dismissive. Terrible customer service, and completely unacceptable given the simple request. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Waited over 40 mins in the drive thru line! Got home and my order wasn't all in the bag! I ordered 2 burritos and 8 tacos. Inside the bag was only the 2 burritos! I called and called over 3xs and no answer. As it is this place is expensive and to not receive my whole order is not cool. They could've at least answered the phone.

I have ordered food here personally as well as picked up DoorDash orders and tonight sealed the deal with one of their key holders. She was on her break and opened the door for one of their many customers inside but she denied me access. If you are accepting orders from delivery services we do not want to sit in your drive thru!!! This particular associate that had keys was extremely rude and a customer as well as the another associate gave me the the order!! I’m not waiting 30 min in the drive thru for a DoorDash order. If you close your lobby turn off your DoorDash orders!! Period!! I used to work at in n out and if you want someone to run your business that actually has knowledge, Let me know!!!

Had the worst experience yesterday! I ordered the menudo for the first and last time… For one, I waited 30 minutes on the side of the car line for one item. And when I got home (15 minute ride) I served and burned my tongue. The soup was super hot. This was around 1pm. It’s 8:30pm the next day and my tongue is still bad. I couldn’t eat it, not to mention the whole container was all liquid. Worst $20 spent!

Doordash order for pickup took over 40min. When it was time to pick up? STILL wasn't ready. Wasn't even made. She is the image of the restaurant as she is helping the guests/costumers in Drive Thru. She has an negative attitude. As a manager I wish you guys can help her know that there are more people wanting to work and would be happy to take her place. She is NOT FORCED to be there and I hope she knows that she can quit and go at any time. Why suffer being there ? There are a LOT of people that would want the opportunity of work there.

Got home opened the bag , opened the burritos and they were very small in size If I was to compare the size I would say they were a little bigger than Taco Bell,s bean burrito, and that’s not saying too much. I had a really disappointing experience at Tacos Superior. The staff member named Monica showed a complete lack of customer service she seemed uninterested and dismissive, and there was no care put into how the food was handled or presented. It’s unfortunate because the food here is usually good, but this experience really stood out for the wrong reasons. I hope management addresses this and ensures customers are treated with more respect and care in the future. Also, she took forever giving the food. And when I asked for extra sauce, Monica was really rude about it.
