Juan is an absolute pleasure. He is beyond hospitable, kind and always willing to go the extra mile. I appreciate his kind gestures very much. 19 NYC hospitality experience I can say Juan gets a 10 stars!

Tried both the carrot/ginger soup, and the white onion soup, served with warm crusty bread, and both were excellent. The flour-less chocolate cake was light and delicious. Espresso was perfect. The sole disappointment was the grilled portabello and pepper salad which suffered from too much vinegar and no seasoning (marjoram? thyme? nada) On the Friday night we tried Chat 19 was a cheerful family night for many customers with well-behaved small kids. It was 6:30pm, and gradually the diners evolved to include more couples on dates. There are jumbo-sized photos of old Hollywood superstars from the 1930s to the 1950s that decorate every wall: Myrna Loy, William Powell, Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Marilyn Monroe, Joe DiMaggio, Clark Gable, etc. Great place. Will come again.

Been here many times. Had a reservation last night for my Birthday. Had to change plans so did take out. Both of us had the sliced steak. I was leery about doing steak takeout. It was cooked to perfection. As good as being there. I will be back in person again soon. Thank you

Food was DELICIOUS! We ordered the Lobster Mango tacos & Lump Crab Cake as appetizers, Sliced Steak and Lobster salad as main courses. Everything was GREAT, half bottle of red wine... was the icing on the cake and my wife had another cocktail (forget the name) but it was worth the trip a little north from the Bronx! Will certainly be back!

Staff is very friendly, safety conscious, and attentive. Tables are well spaced. Glad to see them back open. Really good burger, THE BEST french fries, and the goat cheese and beet salad was on point.

My first time there was for lunch during Hudson Valley Restaurant Week. I had a delicious lunch of lobster tacos, salmon and cheesecake. The waitstaff was lovely and the manager checked in. An added bonus was the large posters of classic Hollywood stars throughout the restaurant. It was a nice surprise and I would go back.

My husband and I visited this restaurant yesterday. I gave it 5 stars because the music was nice and relaxing. The wait staff was very attentive. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, crab cake, lobster and chicken sandwich, black bean soup and burger...all was delicious.

Excellent restaurant with wide selection of food. Clean and friendly atmosphere with attentive staff. Have been here twice and both timesmhav ben a delight. The drinks leave a little to be desired; told the waiting staff that the first drink unsatisfactory and asked for another, but the subsequent drink was identically uninspiring. Nonetheless, I am likely to come back again as the overall service was good.

Sunday evening. Went with relatives. Sat outside. Service was very friendly. Food was very good- the tortilla soup was tasty, the cavateli were done right, the lobster roll was devoured and the short ribs were perfect...In brief, everyone enjoyed their dish. The combination of service and good food will bring us here again.

I was at Chat 19 for lunch last weekend. The food and service were great! Aside from that, Juan and team went above and beyond to return a lost item to me (something I left behind). This was such a wonderful display of customer service! I'll be back for sure! Great place!

Excellent service and excellent food. First time back dining in 1 1/2 years. Trinity was a great server and the manager , Jose , walked around making sure everyone was happy. The FOOD WAS AMAZING! Short ribs braised in wine with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. Margarita was great Get here. You won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to get back!!!

Moderately priced dishes with great flavor. Decor is comfortable yet classy and chic. A good spot for both first and family dates, Confirmation/Graduation luncheons or casual meetups. This has become a safe and reliable pick for our family and friends.

I've been here 3 times and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious and the portions leave you full. The drinks are delicious but be careful with the fun martinis....they will sneak up on you. The staff is incredibly attentive and made sure that our group of 12 was taken care of and not rushed. They gave us plenty of time to sit, eat and enjoy each other's company. Also they allowed us to split the bill on more than 5 credit cards which some places will not do anymore.

I am regular here - nice options for both seafood and meats. Good cocktail selection.

We had a very nice brunch at Chat 19 in Larchmont. Everything we tried was excellent, starting with the coffee and muffins they put on the table. I had a delicious baked goat cheese salad and the others had Florentine omelets and Eggs Benedict. Everyone loved their meals. Also nice outdoor seating on a beautiful late summer Day.

Bustling place to grab a drink, which are awesome or a bite!! Mojito is superb; they offer a berry Mojito and other specialty cocktails, beer and wine. A diverse menu for all. Nice seating area for diners, kids menu as well. Large TV was playing 🏈 game, which was nice for us on a Sunday night. The Clams Casino was yummy as was the onion soup. They have specials as well. I enjoyed a delicious Impossible Burger and my husband loved the seared Tuna sandwich. A great night, the service was impeccable. Warm bread was brought to our table immediately. They have an array of delightful salads. I loved the friendly vibe Chat 19 offers. We'll be back on our next visit to Larchmont for sure. I've been back!! I just love CHAT 19!! Try the Spicy Margarita!! It's delicious.

The manager here deserves a halo. A woman sent back THREE perfectly good dinners...granted, one could've been not to her liking, but THREE??? And she didn't eat or pay for any, yet the manager tried his best to accommodate her. (To no avail) Food is consistent and good.

Casual yet upscale local option for American cuisine, with a few twists. There are some classics, like meatloaf, wings, and burgers, but also some healthy alternatives, including vegetable "pasta" and veggie burgers. Outdoor dining has been extended to include much of the block, which should make it easier to get a table. Indoors features a rich, somewhat dark interior, with retro glamour shots of film stars and a luxe bar. Service is usually very good although it seems that prices have increased. Best parking is lot adjacent to CVS on Chatsworth Avenue.

The food’s good, staff helpful, and they make a great martini. A great, glossy neighborhood joint. Quiet it’s not...but you can ask for a table in the back.

Good food for what its worth. It's not really that pricey, so people who think this is luxury dining will naturally knock it. I happen to love this place, you can walk out feeling full after a very delicious meal and not break the bank. It's a good habit, places like this. Reasonably priced food, consistent quality.

A nice upscale brunch location. The breakfast side of the brunch menu was a bit smaller than expected but the food was very good. I had the eggs Benedict and thought the Hollandaise sauce was particular flavorful, unlike a lot of places.

They’re consistent through the years from our experiences we’ve mostly liked all of their food. The Mac and cheese is a little heavy but it’s very good it’s probably one of the best around the area, and the serving size isn’t that big so it’s great to try as an appetizer. Their burgers are better quality meat than what you’re gonna find other places. Most of their appetizers are creative and pretty good. The mains sometimes we want a little more variety but they’re mostly good too.

Chat 19 is okay. I only ate a salad so I can't really speak to their menu. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday lunch crowd and I can say that the food I saw being delivered to tables looked pretty inviting. The service was very attentive. Like with most businesses in Larchmont, parking is always an issue.

The weather was icy so we nearly had the place to ourselves. The empress gin cocktail is beautiful and delish. It was a bit chilly every time the door was opened. The wait staff accent was a bit difficult to understand the specials. I loved the holiday decorations. Very festive.

Although we didn't make reservations, the kind staff at Chat 19 were able to accommodate us (8 people) with minimal wait time. The food was pretty good but their cocktail menu was more impressive than expected! I had the "Berry Nice Mule" drink and it was so good I had another. A lovely afternoon was had by all!

Nice quaint place. American cuisine. Bits of international, but with American twists to them. They prepare a decent steak here. They also occasionally have live music performances.

The food was not that good and the prices were high.

Not the best food. It's an ok place but the food was mediocre. The dumplings was store brought not hand made. The sliders were dry. The meatballs was ok but could use more flavor.

Very disorganized but nice wait staff. We must have had 6 different people come haphazardly to our table. Still had to request: menu, water, lemons (twice), butter (twice), check. Good food. Best for the younger crowd that likes loud music and multiple tv screens so that you don't have to talk to your tablemates.

Food is good, but is overpriced, as are drinks. $10 for a house vodka on the rocks that was no more than an ounce. The two times I've been for brunch, the service was very slow despite very few people being in the restaurant. I saw the bartender open a new bottle of something and drop the pourer on the floor. She did not wash it before putting it in the bottle. Overall just feels a bit amateurish for a place that's not inexpensive.

Food was great but the service was a little slow. You get into a restaurant early on a Friday with three children (under 10) and you don't get out of their until after 7:30pm? Needed to be a little quicker with clearing the table and moving to the next course. Plates sat for 10 minutes after everyone at the table were done with their meals.

Came to this restaurant twice now, wanting to give it a second chance from the first. The overall environment is very nice. Both times I ordered food and drinks. The drinks were good, but the food was very bland. On one visit I ordered a pizza with arugula, prosciutto and cheese and it had no flavor to it, looked like it was prepared in a rush. Pretty disappointing considering the prices of the dishes. Overall ambiance is great but not worth a visit.

This was my second time at this restaurant, and the service was great, friendly, and reliable. Apps: I tried the wings (2 flavours) and the calamari. Both were of great quality, and well cooked and crunchy. The flavour combinations on the wings were very well paired, and the quality of the chicken was great. I love wings, and these did not disappoint. The service comes with bread and scones but they are served at room temperature (experienced this both times I visited), so I did not have any. Others at my table enjoyed them though, so I guess they were nice. Main: Fish and chips. The fish was well cooked and the waffle fries were a reasonable portion. I didn't enjoy this meal much because the fish seemed bland (barely any flavour), but again it was cooked perfectly. The order comes with coleslaw, but I opted to leave that out of my order. The portion size was big, and I ended up finishing the rest for dinner.

I have been looking forward to this burger all day. I decided to call in for a pick up order on my lunch break. The restaurant looks nice, my order was ready for pick up when I showed and the server was nice. Unfortunately, the CHEESE burger I ordered had no cheese. The burger itself was overcooked given my medium request. The fries didn't have any salt and even the pickles didn't have any taste. If you can't make a classic cheeseburger and fries right, I'm afraid of the other food on the menu. Lunch ruined

Mid food that’s trying to seem like a fancy restaurant. Burger was somewhat dry and bun was oversized and not good. Pickle was just a cucumber with a faint hint of vinegar. Very overpriced for what it is.

Ordered turkey burger with fries. The order took a very long time. The burger was burnt and very dry. Many of the fries were hard as plastic. Service was slow even though a lot of wait staff.

Decided to celebrate my fathers 93rd birthday and our second vax shot by coming here. Called ahead, and despite only a single other table seated, the staff seemed overwhelmed by our party of 5. It took 45 minutes for the food which was ok but not horrible. Followed by another 20 minutes for a side of dressing and a glass of water. Meanwhile the “manager” stood in the doorway staring at the outdoor dining never interacting with anyone. For the price you can do better. Not worth it. The staff doesn’t care if you come here, so why bother?

The first time I went i order the a burger but I was very disappointed. The meat was frozen and bland. I gave it a second chance yesterday, and we ordered the fried calamari ; unfortunately it was overly fried and no flavor. The only good thing is the service.

Quite literally the most disgusting steak and eggs I have ever had at any restaurant in my life. Especially for 30 dollars. I'm not a chef, by any means, but I'm usually the friend who "mans the grill" and makes the steak/burgers. The steak tasted so horrible that I actually couldn't force myself to eat all of it. This will be the first time I've ever wasted steak in my life. The staff did notice that I wasn't enjoying the food and tried to ask me about it but I was so grossed out I didn't even want to get another order. It tasted and looked like burnt rubber. The staff was polite but didn't even take the steak off the bill. They probably would have if I had made a stink, but it's not the waiters fault and I didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable. Food 0/10.

Be careful of this place! Don’t be fooled by the atmosphere. We were 4 women, girls night out and thank goodness my one friend always goes over the bill thoroughly. They added four, 4, 4 extra drinks to our tab!!! Will no be going there anytime soon again.

Came here with a reservation and despite being the only party they’d till made us wait 20 minutes for a table. Ribs were charred, salad was drowning in dressing. Took 20 MINUTES for a cup of COFFEE! And when it arrived it was full of grounds. Why does this place fail at such simple things? And the staff definitely couldn’t have cared less

Although I am well aware that each experience is it's own, I must admit I am disappointed. My family and I made plans for this Easter Sunday brunch at 12pm, party of 10. We made these plans over a week in advance and inquired with a woman as to the pre-determined menu for this event. We were told that it would be approximately $35 per person. When we sat down and asked for the pre determined menu, we were denied. After asking to speak with a manager regarding the confusion, he politely told us that whomever we discussed this matter with was incorrect, and that it does not apply to holiday weekends or events. On their website, the menu is promoted and does not specify otherwise, simply staying it does not apply to parties. We were compensated with a round of free Mimosas, and the atmosphere is as beautiful as the location, the staff is professional and courteous. Regardless, the website should be updated and the staff should be informed, as this was absolutely misleading and deterred us from coming back.

Horrific service. Waited 1.5 hours for a meal, which waitress forgot to put in. Waitress laughed when she acknowledged that she didn’t put in the order. Long time customer who will absolutely never return again.

Website says they are open at 10:00am on Sundays. It’s 10:08 and they said they are not open for brunch but will be in “10-15” minutes. Not happy. We planned a seven person brunch around the information on their website.

I was there a few days ago around 3pm to give this place a 2nd chance. Absolute worst service I've ever witnessed, ever. At one point, the manager had our waiter with other people at a corner table holding up a clipboard for a meeting. It was as if the customers didn't exist. The spaghetti squash had no flavor to a point where I thought I had covid and lost my taste buds. Also, they don't disclose on their menu that their strawberry shortcake isn't actually cake (I can't make this up). It's made of ice cream, which is terribly misleading. Some advice: either fix your food AND service, or do everyone a favor a close down so they can construct something more useful in the space you rent, like a puddle of mud or a place for trucks to plow dirty snow into during the winter. What a giant joke of a restaurant.

Hate to write this but hopefully this brings awareness to the staff and owners of this establishment. First off, when my mother, sisters and I walked in it was evident that we were the only Blacks there. Other diners and even the staff looked at us crazy as if we weren't supposed to be there. It was uncomfortable and its clear they don't get many of us. There is no waiting area and though I made a reservation days in advance we still had to wait. It was uncomfortable having to stand over people as they ate. Finally, our table is ready and they sit us at the back of the restaurant. It literally was the last table in the back by the the kitchen. Besides the fact I don't think anyone would want to sit there, it is extremely inappropriate putting us in the back when there were other tables open. We asked to be moved and they moved us to the second table from the back. That definitely made a difference! There was nothing spectacular about the food and sure was not worth $196. It's basic American food. I chose this place because of decent reviews, convenience of location (we live in New Rochelle) and the menu looked great. I wanted my mother to enjoy her mothers day but it was overshadowed by the the treatment of being different. Definitely wasted $228 dollars (196 + 32 for tip) Wont be returning.

Will not attend again. The bartender was dismissive of me as a woman and only responded when my husband motioned for him. The food was subpar and it was very loud. I do not recommend!
