The barbacoa is really good. They make thier tacos are pretty full so you can make 2 of one. The salsa de pico de gallo is great.

Born and raised in Laredo....But ....Came from out of town.... To see my mom got the Best Barbacoa in town and for for breakfast and the Owner hooked it up with an eye for my Hefita.... Greatly appreciate it... We will be back....

Was years since my last visit until this past weekend. Still just as good as I remembered it. Try the Lengua or Cachete. The Barbacoa was good but too greasy to enjoy.

Very good food and nice service. Best barbacoa in town. This place could do well as a morning restaurant.

Its ok, but USED to be better. Better prices, better food, better / faster service. The one in Lafatte, used to have their doors open so you could buy inside, and three or four people used to serve you. Now, you stand on the sidewalk to an open window and one elderly person serves one at a time. Prices have gone to the sky.

The one in Lafatte, used to have their doors open so you could buy inside, and three or four people used to serve you. Now, you stand on the sidewalk to an open window and one elderly person serves one at a time. Prices have gone to the sky.

Raul's BBQ – Honest Review I gave Raul’s BBQ a fair shot, stopping by four days in a row hoping to catch them on a good day. Unfortunately, while the food itself is decent (I’d give it a 3 out of 5), the overall experience leaves a lot to be desired. First, be aware that there is no parking, which makes getting there a hassle. On top of that, their card machine is constantly down, so it’s cash only—something they assured me would be fixed “tomorrow” each day I visited, but never was. Another major issue is the language barrier. The staff only speak Spanish, which I usually don’t mind, but in this case, they’re unwilling to work with anyone unless you speak it fluently. This made ordering and resolving any questions pretty frustrating. Service? 2 out of 5. Atmosphere? 1 out of 5—there's not much to say there other than it feels unwelcoming. Bottom line: The food might be okay, but it’s just not worth the hassle. Good luck to anyone trying it for themselves—you’ll need it.
