Great location. The remodel left the inside looking good and a welcoming place to eat. The food has been on the high end of quality. As a long term customer of theirs, I've tried many other locations (from san Diego all the way to here) and there has been only one location that was better. The staff is great and the service is fast.

We went there last week. The line was enormous- at least 45 minutes before I got up to the ordering speaker. My son had placed a mobile order. I forgot that he had placed 2 orders so had to tell them about the 2nd order at the window. I finally got the order & they assured me that the 2nd order was in the bag. When I got home? I discovered that it was missing. My son called & left a message. The next day, Candice called & promised that they would replace, remake, the order. I went there this evening with screen shots of what we wanted. The person at the cash register got it correct but the order was incorrect! I get sick from milk products. We asked that cheese & sour cream be removed. Everything was as it would normally be!!! I am too tired & hungry to go back tonight. Just frustrated!
I'm big on customer service. I'll admit that if I receive a smile and a nice greeting it makes my dining experience Much Better. This Taco Bell offers both. In my experience visiting this location the food is always fresh and tasty. I love their hard shell tacos and their new mango tea
I went to Taco Bell tonight to get dinner. I wanna say I've been to many many Taco Bell's and there hasn't been a bunch that I've had good experiences that. Tonight is probably the best experience I've ever had at Taco Bell. There was a young man named David, who went out of his way to help me figure out my gift card situation. We tried many things and it still didn't work, but he didn't give up on it nor Did he let it upset him that it wasn't working? He had great manners and handled it so well. This kid needs a raise if the rest of their team is half as good as his kid David was they have a killer team. Thank you for the experience, David. I hope you get recognized for it.

I was told it was all orders on kiosk. I had a large order with some slight modifications needed not complicated at all but prefer to place with a person however too big for drive thru. The tall gentleman with ear buds in his ear told me it's "all by kiosk, we are short staffed" i stood there for 15 minutes placing my order when another customer comes in and is instantly greeted by an employee and his order was taken the old fashioned way. Look, retail and fast food are horrible work environments but if you're lazy and not customer inclined, quit. The order was right (shockingly) as most times it's not. The food was good. Tacos not stale as 90% of the time I order from this location the tacos always are inedible.
I never do google reviews but this service definitely needs one! I work on an ambulance and my partner and I went in to grab a quick bite to eat. I didn’t catch his name but he was wearing a brown shirt, appeared to be a higher up maybe manager, after he saw I didn’t check out at the kiosk he offered to help me out, he quickly checked me out to pay and accommodated switching a item in a box combo that I cannot eat, he was extremely helpful and nice. He definitely made my dad better with his kindness and jokes. He personally made sure the kitchen got my correct items and made sure before he gave me my food. Taco Bell I never get good service but he was amazing and super helpful and nice to all my needs! Thank you :)))!

This may be the best restaurant of Taco Bell, especially T who works here, makes me come here every day with his friendly dedication and hard work, Taco B needs to appreciate such employees.
Food was hot and fresh. Had a big order and didn't take long to get it. My granddaughter loves the chips and cheese and she's only 2. I do miss the taco salad the way it use to be, not the protein bowl but the big Tortilla shell it was in. Please bring it back.
They had a mistake in our online order as it was supposed to be made for a later time, but was made hours earlier. Manager was there and remade our order again due to the confusion and was very kind and friendly about it! The food also tasted amazing and they make everything perfectly with customized order! Definitely recommend this location
This place was packed! The cars were backed up. It was late Saturday night and I thought it was going to be a long wait. My niece wanted to wait but, it went so fast. The team of employees worked swiftly. The cashier at the window stayed focused and was personable. Pleasant surprise indeed.

My lunch time trip to taco bell was probably the best I've had . For real , tacos had nice fresh lettuce and I saw tomatoes and CHEESE. Very fresh . I also had chulupas and enjoyed them as well. Soda was a dud no syrup . My trip was around noon on Monday, the line was 5 cars deep a parked and went in fast service

This is THE BEST Taco Bell. I can’t stand Taco Bell, but I tried this one because it’s so convenient. The food is here is always exceptional and the service friendly and efficient
In the past couple years, Taco Bell have expanded their many range, which now includes many breakfast items which are very popular. Staff always friendly and willing to help.
Certainly curtious staff taking our large order and politely brought it out to our car and while coming outside he noticed an elderly woman getting out of her car. He let her know he would be right there to hold open the door for her. Appreciate his kindness!

I went with my friend who is extremely picky and she asked if the potatoes in the meal were freshly made and the guy at the window said they were but when we got the order clearly they were not. She showed them the potatoes and he said keep them she just have to return them and then the cook will redo the order we drove around to the front and the person was nice enough to bring the order right out to the car and they redid each item that contain potatoes and even some items that did not. I was pretty impressed by their effort to correct the situation and responsive this to the problem.
The thing I like most about this Taco Bell is that they give either a 10 percent senior discount or a free senior drink. Everyone is so nice and polite. Some places have an attitude when you ask for a senior discount.The service is also super fast
It is usually later in the evening when we stop here. The drive through looks packed but moves pretty quick. They do a better than expected job putting the food together and are generous with the hot sauce packets. Exactly what you should expect from a Taco Bell.
I came later at night so there was a bit of a wait. The drive thru was long but the food was ready when you got to the window. If you park and go inside there is plenty of parking but I would just be careful because of the way that the line for the drive thru wraps around. You could get stuck in your spot.
Taco Bell is the ubiquitous chain, and they're well-known nationally and locally. This location is very popular. They're fast and so far, they're accurate with orders. Would recommend.
Overall is good. I have a few of special request and they rarely get it wrong which is a big plus. Quantities in food are sometimes inconsistent but not concerning.
Can't go wrong with the Bell but this location is marked up considerably compared to others in San Diego. Even the new Luxe box which is heavily marketed for its value at $7 is bumped up to $11 at this location-- same price for the cravings boxes.
I decided to order the Nacho Fries Box meal. I wanted my items made fresco style. The cashier didn't know what that was and asked a manager to assist. She came over and showed him how to find it. She stated that it is rarely requested and why the cashier couldn't find it. The nacho fries were ok. They were not hot and fresh. I ordered cinnamon twists and the entire bag was mainly broken pieces of twists. I love the cinnamon twists so I ordered an extra one to take with me for later. This bag was full and not broken pieces. Much easier to eat. The staff were all friendly and accommodating.
Always like Taco bell but service is iffy. It's frustrating when you are asked for your order, you tell them and you are asked again. Then they still get it wrong. Other than that, the crew were friendly and the store was clean. The place is well maintained. Service was quick just not accurate.
With the location that has been remodeled and with the new color and seeing wood tables that brings so much life to taco bell . This one location had so much the Older tables that had hard plastic seats and the booths that got dirty . This one Taco has a better menu and different combos and the new flavors with steak combos and great tasting burritos . I had come to get food for fellow reviewers that were coming to my house and wanted to get the steak chaulupa and the great soft tacos that my friends liked . They have some really great staff and they do close at 1:00am so if you like great tacos and good combos and some good deserts than Lemon Grove Taco Bell on Broadway .

WTF is going on here? waited 10 minutes for one car in the driveway, backed out and went in and waited 15 more minutes. This place is f*in up for one taco and some nachos on a Monday.
This location is mid. Their workers are always nice but management doesn't take in suggestions.. they mixed up sodas in the machine, I made them aware of the issue and the solution they would have to do and they have disregarded it because it means more work on their end. They USUALLY get my order right but this location sometimes struggles with edits to an order..
Come here all the time they’re usually pretty great however the other night I was given a completely incorrect order and didn’t notice till I got home to which I was very upset because I live 15minutes away and only stop by on my way home from work. I tried calling to see what they could do and took over an hour to get any sort of response from them. When the lady did answer I asked her what could be done or if I could at-least be refunded to which she said they don’t usually do refunds. She then proceeded to say that I could go back to get my order, however when I was there I waited 20 mins in line and I did not want to go back to do line. Very disappointing.
Well it's Taco Bell expectations are not that high but prices are super high. Makes you want to rethink. They were stingy on the sauce packets which I didn't like had to go back and ask twice for more not cool
It's so hard to rate these locations with covid restrictions. Unlike other restaurants in the area this lobby was closed so we had dine in our vehicle. To be honest Taco Bell's prices are just climbing up, the prices are competitive to Mexican restaurants but their quality isn't. I'm not one to advocate for fast food dining unless you need to, this is just a regular Taco Bell, same food as others, service was good the order was accurate but still I find it hard to pay almost $50 for dinner.
I've eaten here a few times now and the wait is always pretty long, even in the middle of the night. The food is typically really good, but because of how busy they are they tend to run out of popular items/ingredients.
My experience was fine, except I was under the impression that they took EBT. They do not. They don't expect it in the lobby or drive thur. I also understand the other reviews after watching the staff. The staff in the front are nice, but the ones that are on the line(back) seem to not care or pay attention.
My kids love the food but their orders are a little off menu. So regardless of my repeating the either elimination of items or additional of items the servers are about 50/50 as to whether they get it right. Would be 5 stars if they could just have more attention to detail
I have never been a fan of taco bell food quality, compared to saa taco shop or home cooked. I was getting 2 orders for a total of 5 people. I received great friendly service. However I was shocked at the total cost. 1 order for 2 people was $28 and the 2nd order was $44. And I got 3 neatly closed bags. (And drinks) I was just shocked...for 7, I could make real food for more people.
The service was great, but the portions are notably smaller than in the past. I see why I only visit a few times a year now, when in the past I had to go every week. Bring back the enchirito permanently.

It's your standard Taco Bell, nothing spectacularly good or bad about it. My food came up in adequate time, the restroom was actually clean, and there's no trash in the lobby.I just wish Vey's Powersports was still in Lemon Grove I really need to stop and check the price on some motorcycle equipment.

This place is notoriously slow in the evenings. I go here often, and the past few months and the wait time has slowly gone up to 15-20 minutes for one combo. Order accuracy has become a problem too 😕 I have learned to check my orders before I pull away in the drive through because walking into the store for a replacement means waiting another 15-20 minutes before I get food. I wish I could go here more often since it's close by, but I find it hard to trust the service anymore.
I went to Taco Bell 🔔 to try the bacon, chicken chalupa. What a disappointment it was to see when I received my food. I ordered the craving box and I got a very light brown bag. It's usually in a nice meal box. I checked to see if I had the order, and it was. There was hardly any beef and bacon on the tacos. It was filled with alot of lettuce. The drive-thru service was just okay. I overall give this place 2 stars.
This place has never gotten an order correct!! I live in the area and every so often I want some Taco Bell and they never fail to disappoint. It’s unfortunate they are located in a high traffic area so they will continue to get business even if management sucks. If you don’t mind taking the extra time to make a second pass to tell them how to get an/your order correct it’s the same as any other Taco Bell.
I ordered a 5 dollar box and All the costumers after me received their food even a woman who ordered again after me. I asked the cashier what happened and he was kind enough to put a rush on it and told the BOH folks that I have been waiting awhile and even stated to them that everyone after me has already received their food..
It's Taco Bell, so set your expectations accordingly. On the plus side, this location now has a screen to order in the lobby, which makes customizing your food super easy. This visit, I ended up waiting at least 10 minutes for my two items. It wasn't especially busy, but the staff were moving in slow motion. So yes, the food is cheap and trashy, but it's not really what I would call fast.
Sadly I have issues with this place, they are really slow. They gave me someone else food. I picked up for someone else. The pu was to be the drive through, the line was so very long I went inside. I explained and the guy said ok no problem they are working on it. I kid you not I was inside for about 25 minutes. He would say it's almost done. I finally let another employee know and he said noone was working on it, so he pulled the order and gave it to the kitchen. I waited about 10 minutes and then they handed the order to me. Ther was a time on October 8th About 730am I had placed an order for 3 breakfast boxes. I pulled up to the speaker was told to pull forward. I get to the window and waited the person came to the window and said I am sorry, I am here by myself training a person. I was asked to pull around front, remember I Mobile ordered. I pulled around front and waited. My total wait was over 30 minutes. I was late to my appointment and the meals couldn't be eaten because we had to go into a meeting. The location is convenient but sadly they are so slow. There is one woman there who I believe to be a manager, she is so very nice.

Food was great, but when it came to costumer service, it was awful. I was treated like I was stupid, and when I presented a coupon for a free taco, I was told “It should’ve been done with your order beforehand.” But I didn’t order with a person, because there’s signs everywhere saying “Please order on Kiosk”. My boyfriend who I was with, also had a coupon and presented it when his food was served. Miscommunication happened, which is fine, we’re human. But when asking about it, an employee treated my boyfriend like he was stupid for asking, because “I already have HER a taco!” But it was for a completely separate taco coupon. It was a silly situation, but the female employee with glasses has a horrible attitude.
My DoorDash order took a hour to be made. The little girl who answered had a light attitude. Seemed frustrated but doesn’t mean you take it out on customers, learn how to be respectful and professional.
The manager Julio treats you badly if he hears you speaking Spanish , LOL And if they mess up your order, they treat you like you’re stupid, and the manager starts arguing with you even if you’re speaking to him calmly. I won’t go back it’s a shame👎👎👎
I've come here a few times, and almost every time my order is wrong, this time about a week,I ordered a cantina chicken taco, put i didn't want the cheese the came on it. Okay cool no cheese on my taco, however on my rice and beans which I've order a few times, rice seem to be hard in most bites,none the less it was cheese on it...Im like what the helly?? Im done spending my money at these places they won't get it right until you stop spending your money, and there hours get cut.. don't try to call ,you won't get an answer did this once before over nachos I ordered months ago, never got a call back. I had to wait in line for over 20 mins. I was between 2 vehicles. I had ordered 2 Grande Nachos. I got chips that got soggy from the toppings within minute of the being placed on them. About 1/4 cup of meat and cheese. More of sour cream, Pico, and guacamole then meat and cheese. They charge more and give you less of low quality food. It was nasty. I use to love Taco Bell. Not any more.

Completely ghetto. Went through the drive-through and the person taking the order was being super ghetto! All she kept saying was “aiight aiight, yup, aiight” and with attitude. Keep in mind im being normal (polite). Not to mention they had a huge line and ppl were parking to try and go inside yet they locked the doors so no one could go in. Super rude! Who hires these type of ppl!!!
Didn’t notice that my order was wrong until I got home. Two items in my order were incorrect. My order should have had two chicken burritos and they gave me 2 chicken tacos and the worst part is the tacos literally had no meat in them at all it was only really the juice from the chicken and a few pieces of lettuce and a whole lot or tortilla. Worst fast food experience ever. We placed an online order last night and went inside to pick it up. The person working the register was cursing and complaining at all the customers because another customer got her mad. Four of our items were missing, two were wrong, and two were burnt. I tried calling repeatedly to speak to a manager but of course no one would answer the phone.
Was quoted 20 minutes for my order at this Taco Bell. I'm currently sitting in the restaurant at nearly 50 minutes with no order. People who ordered after me with large orders have received their order. I only had one single combo. I'd suggest ordering from another Taco Bell down the road and avoid this one.
Got extremely sick after eating there. Food preparation was terrible. Tables covered in food from previous customers and the dumb guy at the register could not be more unconcerned or give a crap. The $7.00 box meal was room temperature and the entire meal was nasty.

My order was wrong and they gave me no receipt. Right before I received my takeout order, a man named Dave and a man named Mr. Jay received incorrect orders as well. At that point it was too late to cancel and I received mine. The item number was correct but the people at the counter acted like I was bothering them by wanting to check my order so I left assuming that I could just rate my order on the app seeing as how I entered my email into the digital kiosk. That never went through either. Don’t waste money at this place. And if you do, do not hesitate to check our items at the counter because they will try to give your order to the next person like they did with the two customers in front of me. Don’t bother trying to call and ask for your order number. They disconnected their phone lines so they won’t have to deal with complaints.
Ordered: 2 Cheesey Potatoes and 4 Cheesy Roll-ups. Got: One meat burrito and two small black containers with a smear of sour cream in each. Redid the order: Got; 2 Cheesey Potatoes and 4 plain tortillas rolled up with nothing in them! Not even cheese. Time before that. . . Ordered: 1 Black Bean Chalupa with extra lettuce and tomatoes Burrito and salad (sister ordered) My Chalupa was improperly wrapped, so almost all of the tomatoes were on the bottom of the Taco Bell bag instead of in the Chalupa. The Chalupa wasn't even warm, it had only about three tiny strands of cheese in it and the black beans were strangely mashed instead of whole. To top it off, I took one bite and spit it out, because it tasted old. My sister got sick that night from eating her food from the Lemon Grove Taco Bell on Broadway.
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Taco Bell. Not only was the service below standard, but I also witnessed something truly concerning. Supervisor Jose allowed two employees to drink alcohol while on the clock, which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Even worse, after their shift, these employees were visibly intoxicated and were allowed to drive away without any intervention from management. This is not only a serious safety issue but also a clear failure of leadership and responsibility. Allowing employees to drink on the job and then drive under the influence puts lives at risk and reflects poorly on Taco Bell’s management standards. I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed immediately to prevent a dangerous situation from happening again. Until these issues are resolved, I cannot recommend this location to anyone.
Ordered combo crunch wrap supreme received 3 crunchy tacos supreme. I stop going to taco bell because of the order being wrong. It is not worth the time to go back

This was the WORST taco bell we’ve been to. I normally love their cheesy roll ups but this time they forgot the cheese and literally just rolled a flour tortilla. I understand times are tough but come on!! That was ridiculous!
This is the worst Taco Bell I have ever been too. The staff were rude as all get out and were flirting with each other while trying to take my order. I repeated one item on my order 5 times and then got home to eat my food and I literally got a grilled cheese steak burrito with steak cheese and sour cream that’s it. Do better Taco Bell at lemon grove do better
Used to like eating here. However, we just had the worst experience anyone could have. We waited in the drive-thru line for 20 minutes, got our food, and drove home. Once home, I noticed it was the wrong food. Big deal happens all the time, right? We drove back and picked up the "correct" order. Arrived home, and guess what? it's the wrong food again! Unbelievable, I called them and spoke to page, she of course, apologized. I asked for a refund and was told no refunds can be made after 11 pm. Otherwise, talk to Jose tomorrow morning. What a waste of time.
Horrible customer service. I was totally ignored. I came inside to pick up a mobile order. It take over 40 minutes to get my order. The soda machine in the lobby was out of soda. Just sad.
Had a doordash order delivered. It took get this AN HOUR AND 45 MINUTES TO GET DELIVERED, buttt get this it was also DELIVERED TO THE WRONG HOUSE. Super cool, I’m not blaming taco bell because I’m sure the food was made right but doordash is horrible
It took 10 minutes inside to get my order taken since the poor girl at the register was pulling double duty at the drive-thru as well. That line was so long that I decided to park and go inside. She was really nice and apologetic. Then we sat 2 tables from the pick up counter. After 20 minutes, I went to ask about my order and why it was taking so long. A man said he called my order a while ago and had put the bag under a heat lamp. We were the ONLY people in the dining room. Why didn't he come over and ask if that was my order??? I was so close by I would have heard him calling. The food was barely warm. Needless to say I will not return to this location again. VERY dissatisfied with the service.
Be careful with this place if you're using a credit card, they charged me for my order then they reused my credit card for another person's order totaling $33.11. I went to this location at roughly 10:45pm and had an additional charge 10 minutes later. When I return to the store, the manager refuses to give me a refund unless I wait in the line, which is about a 15 minute wait. Not only do they want to waste my time, they're ridiculously reluctant to compensate me for this massive inconvenience. Keep in mind, I had to drive from my house to fix this issue, because their phone line is off for the night. I'm never returning to this location again. What an absolute nightmare of customer service.
Changing my review to 1 star. The employees are pleasant, but every single time we have gone to this location they mess up our order. Tonight we went through drive-thru, only to find out when we got home that 2 major items were missing, and one burrito was mangled. Fine, no problem, mistakes happen. We drive back, they offer to remake the order, assured it was all there. Well, I should've looked anyways. Still missing items, just different ones this time. My suggestion: Don't put the items all into one giamt bag, makes it too easy to miss things. Split it up, organize it better.
Their prices on there signs in the drive thru do not match what they are charging. The number 3 has 7.19 and they charge 7.45. Have brought that to there attention multiple times as I love Taco Bell but they have not changed it. I see a class action lawsuit coming there way real soon as I take pictures everytime and demand the price advertised. Sad because i like there food. Oh and 2 out of the last 3 times it was a manager I spoke with.
I ordered two chicken quesadillas and I paid $16.13 and they give two cold chalupas 😡😡 the worst part I went home and my 6 years old son open the bag and ohh!! disappointed this is not chicken quesadillas and I called several times the store and no one is answering the phone this is just disappointed that this crew needs more training they are no paying attention in what they are doing.... bad service always in this store
I order #6 plus a chalupa, cashier Sarah asked beef or chicken and I told her beef all of them, no cheese. When I got home they were all chicken and I had a supreme chalupa which I didn’t asked for, tried calling the number to let them know and no one is answering. Sarah was not kind either.
AVOID! This Taco Bell has consistently messes up orders where its missing items, undercooked food, and poorly managed. It takes so long to get your order which is never right. This location needs an overhaul and to stop wasting people's time.
I ordered a crunchy supreme party pack and they charged me $26 + $15 for crunchy supreme and my tacos were not supreme Ok call no answer will be calling corporate
I guess I learned my lesson about giving places another chance. The manager at this taco bell will run it into the ground ad its sad. Hes bullying customers and being irrational. My experience today was i ordered 20 dollars worth of food. When I looked in the bag it looked crazy. Everything was dumped out. The fries were in the bag with empty boxes. The pizza looked crazy. I didnt say anything but I guess I made a face and the manager comes and starts asking what's wrong. I say nothing its fine then hes like I cant please you and I was like you know what why are my fries dumped out and the food looks crazy and he starts arguing with me and was like you want ur money back and I was like its fine I was already mad from how he felt like it was ok to berate a customer when I wasn't saying anything about the food I just made a disappointed face. Im not sure why he was trying to illicit a reaction from me but if hes going to be unprofessional then he shouldn't manage anything. Its always fine when hes not there but he seems like he has a vendetta against me and idk why. Ive never argued for no reason or yelled or anything. Its sad because I have no issues with the other workers and the food is always good with them. Anyway guess I won't return there when hes there. When I see him ill leave. Its not taco bell its him.
I ordered 3 tacos I wait for 20 minutes the food was bad they only put a little bit of meat cheese lettuce I told the staff they got my food wrong he gave me a bowl of lettuce cheese I was not happy about it I told the staff to make new he told me they ran out of it. The manager Jose was rude to me he ask me what are you doing I told him I was throwing away trash he told me I look suspicious I told him I didn't do anything wrong I only came to eat and drink soda I'm disability I get confused
This is by far the worst taco bell i have ever been to, the food was subpar and the service was lacking. I didn't understand how it could be this way until I saw the unprofessional manager walk out from the back. Someone needs to look at how this stores operation is being ran. Feel bad for the employees.
Stop by at 1:00 a.m. Drive-Thru. A guy walks up to the drive-thru speaker. I preceed to move forward because hes on foot and should not be at the drive thru. I roll up my windows and I proceed to move forward out of safety. I asked the cashier if they can take my order cuz I didn't feel safe with this man on foot threatening me. He tells me I have to go around instead of taking my order. Literally the guy who threatened me gets prioritized. That is some backward stuff I do not agree with.
My order was incorrect. I tried to call the store multiple times with no answer. So I had to reach out to customer service. A couple weeks later, I got a call from the store telling me to go in for a replacement order. I was told that my name would be written down and to tell them at the front counter. Upon getting there, Julio argued with me for 15 minutes. Then, even after showing him the incoming call refused to give me my replacement order. I now have to call customer service back again and wait longer. Just for a replacement of a $7 order would never recommend going here. Go to a different location, not worth it to go here. Julio gives terrible customer service and argues with customers. Even when you're polite and show him proof and explain the full situation, he just argues with you and refuses to help.
