Excellent empanadas! I was in the area for about a week and went there twice for lunch and once for dinner. Totally wish they could ship their product.
Omg so good! My husband and I were craving tacos to get delivered and we couldn’t believe we found a place with tacos for only $2.75 plus empanadas and they were incredible! They delivered them with sooooo many sauces. They were all so flavorful and spicy! The only thing I didn’t like was the steak empanada which I knew I probably wouldn’t because of the raisins. It was too sweet for my taste. But the bbq chicken and veggie was incredible. The crust was so flaky and light. All in all, I can’t wait to order them again.
Excellent empanadas. Served fresh and hot with three sauces and salsa verde. Generous size. Unanimous favorite was al pastor and we shared the yummy apple for desert, dusted in cinnamon sugar on the outside. Mmmm… Clean interior with indoor seating. Recommend!
The food is amazing! We were visiting Chicago. When we walked in on a Saturday evening, there was only one other family and we were skeptical. But, the food was delicious and the quantity almost double. They took lots of effort in making the food. They can improve the ambience a bit but not required. I recommend this place!

The empanadas were so amazing. I came here on a Friday night and it wasn’t busy. The chorizo empanada was amazing and I will definitely be back for these. I also got the steak tacos which were ok but I wouldn’t get them again. Stick to the empanadas and you will love it.
My favorite place for burritos in Chi!! I actually love them so much. You can’t go wrong with the pastor or steak burritos. The flavors are unreal and it’s huge! I like to put the green sauce on it but be careful if you’re sensitive to spice. They have a lot of seating and service is usually pretty quick. I see many people order to-go; I like to dine in. I haven’t tried their empanadas yet. I’m sure they’re excellent though.
Nachos are amazing! Salsa’s are delicious!! Must try!! Pricing is perfect definitely recommend!!
This place was an amazing find! Huge portions for the price and food was amazing! The nachos and burritos are HUGE. The image I show is the nachos....they are LOADED and delicious. Amazing job to the chef. Definitely recommend this place to any Mexican lovers.
Litos is finally open again😭 we tried empanadas all over Chicago to get our fix while they were closed but the other places didn’t come close to how delicious the food is here. They re-opened and have much more seating now that they expanded. They also added some new additions to the menu like burritos and nachos. The chorizo empanada was my favorite. Welcome back to the neighborhood we’ve been waiting for you!🧡
The empanadas at this place are amazing! I ordered the Nutella with banana, and the spinach with cream cheese which were delicious. I really intend to try all the flavors, super recommend
Delightful, got the #3, #6, and #8 and all were perfect, but the spinach and mozzarella was heavenly. Will def be planning to come here again.
We had the chicken one, the beef one, and the chorizo and cheese one, and they were amazing! The dough had the perfect texture, and not too oily, and the flavors were great. A little pricier, but they even impressed my partner who grew up on empanadas.
It was perfect!! We got spinach and cheese, elpastor and chorizo and cheese. I highly recommend all of them specially chorizo and cheese! They have a diverse set of special sauces that they made themselves.
These empanadas were so tasty!! #6 was my favorite. Staff was so friendly and the food came out quickly, was also reasonably priced. Perfect for our Saturday afternoon snack. Menu attached!
Love when a place sucks to what they're great at. Lito's has fantastic empanadas, and the only other thing you can get here is a bottle drink. The empanadas were fresh, delicious, and economical ($3/each). Highly recommend this place for a quick bite.
I had the chicken and mushroom and the chorizo and cheese empanadas. The empanadas are pretty good but I'd like to see some other options and I personally prefer baked empanadas. I did really like the friendly staff and might go back just for that. They do sell the dough for you to bake your own empanadas at home if you'd like though.
Really tasty food at expected prices for the neighborhood. Ordered beef empanada, steak taco and Al pastor taco. Beef empanada: 5/5. Decent size, full of flavor, and the little bit of olive works great even though i generally don’t care for olives Steak taco and al pastor taco: 4/5. Decent size, decent tasty, and comes with great salsa options. Environment: rather large place, comfortable seats, and nice lighting. Great for eating alone or with a group. Plenty of window seating as it wraps around the corner
Have been here twice. Flavorful empanadas that are made in house. Would recommend the savory ones, especially the chorizo one. The desert ones , like the apple pie, are not worth it. Seating is limited in the store so be ready to cozy up with other diners.
Tacos were good and Empanadas were good too. Not amazing, not bad.
Tried this place the other day. I got a beef empanada and an al pastor empanada. They were both freshly made to order. It came with a spicy cream sauce and a green chimichurri like salsa. The meat were ground for both empanadas, the flavors were ok but needed maybe a bit more seasoning. The sauces helped a lot. The crusts for the empanadas were nice and crispy though.
