Loved this place when I went to UNT, hadn’t been back in almost a decade. Had no idea it was damaged by fire, but so glad to see it still here. And new and improved! Such a lovely space, a big change from what it used to be. Drinks were excellent and the bagel was awesome. Insane bagel menu!

I loved it, I got the strawberry mocha. It was amazing. I loved the environment. I wasn’t too pricey either. Can’t wait to visit again.

This shop is so unique and eye catching for a friend's hang out. But I most certainly want to mention that the barista that took and made our order (i believe was Millie according to our receipt) was honestly the sweetest human being. My daughter was a little sad when they didn't have ice cream for a shake, but Millie offered some alternate options that my daughter couldn't decide on. She eventually came up with a raspberry frap as a surprise that made my daughters day. I can't thank her enough for her patience and kindness. Great experience!

I was a commercial roaster for 8 years. While I don't roast any longer, I know what coffee I like and finding decent coffee, not flavors but actually good coffee, is difficult. I was going to the nearby bookstore and was looking for a coffee and found this place. They do "make your own cup" service. I had them do that and do a blend of two of my 3 favorite beans. The person taking the order had to check if they could do a blend but she was told yes. While it took a while, I received the best cup of coffee I ever have purchased at a coffee. Now mine is still better at home but it was so good I will go back any time I am in Denton. Anyone wanting truly good coffee, and not flavored water - this place deserves a try!

This was a great experience. The coffee shop is eclectic with vintage vibes. I went with my brother and his girlfriend. We ordered breakfast sandwiches, tea and coffee. Service was prompt, friendly, cheerful. I really enjoyed it. I also appreciated the vegan options. Will definitely be back with my husband the next time I’m in Denton.

I come in here at least twice a week and order smear on Gluten Free toast, and this time they gave me a GF bagel. This is the best day of my life. Jupe, if you’re listening, PLEASE make GF bagels a regular menu item!!! I will even pay extra.

Fantastic place to do work and great drinks! The only thing is that there aren’t many outlets, so I’d recommend having your laptop fully charged otherwise you have to vie for the 2-3 seats that have access to an outlet. But great drinks and sandwiches!!

This is my favorite Bagel place in Denton. The smoothies are also great. I am not a coffee person but my boyfriend who is a coffee lover liked their coffee.

A staple of Denton's Square, Jupiter House, is an intersection of big city coffee shop and your cozy neighborhood spot. Their bagels are top notch and make for great shmeers! I almost always walk out with a treat too, cake-pops, lemon blueberry bread, cookies (they're as big as your head), the delicious list could continue. Oh and don't forget a coffee, I can speak for the lattes and espresso, great roast 💯 With outdoor, indoor, even upstairs seating, there's plety of good spots for a quick coffee/bite and or cozy studying! Lastly, shout-out to the kind, stylish, and helpful staff ✌️

Went in today hoping to buy some coffee beans and a little bit of pre-grinded beans, and the person who attended me was super sweet! They said, “we’ll make sure to grind them well,” and that they did! My latte tasted super good with the Jupiter House coffee beans, thank you Jupiter House!!

This coffee shop is a little gem. Coffee is yummy, service is friendly, and atmosphere is boho fabulous! The large tables upstairs lend to an afternoon of art collaging or playing a boardgame with friends.

Why did I have the Coconut coffee at Jupiter House? I just finished my cup of coffee, and I now have one problem: Jupiter is in Denton, and I'm here in Carrolton! I want more! This is one of the best coffees I had in a long time. I will swing by Denton next time. Thank you, Jupiter House. I recommend this place!

We had a dirty chai and an americano. The barista made an extra thing called a lungo for us to try. It has been a long time since a coffee shop has done something cool or offered to show us something with the coffee. Very friendly staff here (obviously!). This place is definitely worth a stop. The quotes everywhere are really cool too. One suggestion would be for at least the bathroom soap to be automatic so there’s less things to touch for people’s comfort level.

I’ve been going to Jupiter House for nearly 15 years. They are a busy shop but they keep the line moving while turning out quality drinks and food. The baristas are friendly and efficient. Check if it out.

Best coffee on The Square! We came in today while taking a stroll around Denton’s downtown area and were pleasantly surprised by our experience here. We tried the iced vanilla latte, dirty chai, a cappuccino, the drip coffee and a cream cheese brownie to split. All were really good! My dad even walked away with a t-shirt! Excited to come back and try a bagel sandwich from their impressive bagel menu on my next visit… Because I’ll be back!

The walls are graced with what appear to be actual Shepard Fairey prints—either they’re real, or someone has a very convincing Etsy hookup. Either way, respect. Major shout out to the interior decorator. The place feels like a cozy gallery where espresso is a spiritual experience and every seat is curated for maximum Instagram potential. Love the floors. Only complaint: whoever left a mysterious used female product in the toilet—ma’am, we need to talk. That’s not the kind of art this place is going for. The chocolate chip cookie? Absolute perfection. Crispy edges, gooey center, just enough salt to make you question every other cookie you’ve ever loved. I’d fight a raccoon for another one. 10/10 would visit again, just maybe not the bathrooms 😆

The customer service was great and the coffee is great we got a blended drinks today. I got the white chocolate strawberry mocha and I will definitely recommend this if you are a sweet tooth. I wish this place all the best it’s such a nice little shop with a nice upstairs to do work for students or young professionals.

Haven't been here in MANY many years. ... Very different feel from back in the day. There was apparently a fire next door (hence why the antique store is now a vacant lot). The damage from that allowed for some remodeling of the old Jupiter house. Still a great place to go to study, read, work, meet with friends, etc. Breakfast bagels and cinnamon rolls were delicious. Coffee is good. Atmosphere is the best for a coffee shop (imho). Staff are great. Hopefully I can make it back here soon!

My favorite place for Sunday morning bagels and a cup of coffee or smoothie! Can get a little crowded but people are usually nice enough to share tables if they're not needing to spread out.

Jupiter House in Denton is an absolute must-visit! They have so many great options on their menu, it's hard to choose. The atmosphere was good vibes, a perfect spot to relax or get some work done. I tried their Golden Cup coffee, and it was excellent. Highly recommend checking them out!

We love coming to Jupiter House any time of day, but it is one of my son's and my special breakfast treats at least once a month before school. The atmosphere, the staff, the drinks, everything is fantastic.

Super chill beverage shop. Large open space, plenty of tables, an upper level and plenty of selections to choose from. The staff is courteous and friendly and our drinks were out quick. It has a great vibe to it. Drink in or get it to go. Very nice ambiance.

I love Jupiter House. We go every Friday morning after we drop my kids off at school. Their drinks are always amazing and their food is too! I love their lattes and their dirty chai and the #8 on the breakfast menu. The staff is always kind and helpful and the drinks are always made with the utmost quality.

I’ve never had a bad experience at Jupiter House. Great staff, baristas, food, drinks, and vibes. 10/10 every time I go there. My only mild complaint is people love to post up there all day so it can be hard to find seating sometimes. That being said everyone’s phenomenal and I can’t blame customers for not wanting to leave lol

Jupiter House is a beloved Denton Square staple, and it's easy to see why. Plenty of seating and charging space, good for a quick coffee date or a couple hours of studying. Gotta listen sharp for your name if you are far from the pick up area, but the coffee and food are great!

Excellent bagel sandwiches and friendly service, even though they were slammed with the Sunday brunch crowd. I was in town for a wedding and pressed for time. Picked up a bunch of sandwiches and muffins for the hardworking bride, groom and setup crew which were much appreciated. Thank you team Jupiter. Wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the charming historic space and halloween decor. Felt like the setting for a rom com with witches and vampires.

I was a first-timer and was meeting a friend. It was a very cool coffee house. It's spacious, the staff was friendly, and the patrons were friendly too. They have a great menu selection with a lot of variety, and the bake desserts were delicious. I will definitely visit again in the near future.

PROs: BEST coffee I've had since moving to Texas, had me missing home in Kansas City. It's a bit of a drive for coffee but it's worth it. I've since visited Jupiter House twice. Front parking is limited. Great establishment and location. Baristas are friendly. Plenty of indoor and upstair seatings. And the music was fine. CONs: #4 was lacking avocado. Although I wasn't pleased with my #4 sandwich my hubby was impressed with his #2 sandwich, he was happy and that made me happy too.

Best bagels EVER. So so good. The coffee isn’t great, but I love the interior and vibe of the place! So cute! Been coming here for years (even the older establishment), and I love this place. Very nice employees as well. :) I will say, it is a bit annoying how loud the music is sometimes. Many people that come here regularly (myself included) are college students working on assignments or studying. It’s super annoying when the music is BLASTING on the speakers. I’ve worked in coffee for over 5 years, and I’ve been a store manager of a coffee shop too. I’m totally down with employees playing their music, but it would be nice for them to keep in mind this is a public place and not a jam session. Not to be a Karen, but it really can be frustrating.

Nice comforable area with a large menu of great looking food and drinks. I got the #3 sandwich and a galaxy coffee, its good worth the price. Super busy on a sunday afternoon wish they had more seats inside although they already have a lot of seating.

I loveeee Jupiter House, the food is good, along with the drinks. My biggest complaint, however, is the sheer volume of the music playing. Sometimes it's hard to hear the person right across from me which is lowkey insane. The genre of music is fine, but the volume sometimes is a bit ridiculous. When I come into Jupiter House as many other people do, we're looking to sit, study, and do work. Unless you have good noise cancellation headphones (that may or still may not actually drown out the noise), the music can be quite distracting :(

Takeaway: Great drinks!! I haven’t tried much of their food menu items, but they have a multitude of coffee options and even smoothies. Their cookies are pretty yum and my partner seems to enjoy the cake balls! Some of their muffins fall on the dry side.

I love Jupiter House. I have been frequenting Jupiter House since before the rebuild and have so many fond memories even back from 2017 and earlier. I come here often and have spent endless hours studying here. I want to make a huge request on behalf of all people studying at Jupiter House- PLEASE TURN THE MUSIC DOWN. I understand the atmosphere is important and the employees do seem to enjoy the music. Sometimes I cannot hear myself think, and when people who are here supporting you are also here trying to read, write, have meetings with friends and colleagues, the music does not have to be the volume that it often is. I am almost always having to blast study music in my expensive noise cancelling headphones in order to drown out the metal music or other incredibly loud genres they are playing. And don't get me wrong, I often love the music they are playing, love the vibes and I think the music choices usually fit the vibe of the place, and I am not saying it has to be super quiet or inaudible, but it could absolutely be a couple notches lower and have the same effects. Sometime I am having to talk very loud to be able to have a conversation. I think its unnecessary and there should be a bit more respect for the customers here to do school work or having conversations and catching up with friends.

Ever since the remodel, they have been absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere is very unique, and there is access to seating up in the loft now! Coffee has been consistent and very good. I wish they had a larger selection of flavors for lattes but I’m sure that will come in time. All in all, wonderful experience.

But they don’t serve anything in mugs so it kills part of the experience . The Cinnabon bun was pretty good though. I would improve the espresso drinks, the rest is pretty good.

Usually this place is good, but come on this is ridiculous. THAT'S THE "SAUSAGE" in my sausage, egg, and cheddar. I also ordered it on an everything and they put it on a plain.

Food and beverage quality is good, prices are too high. Service is ok. Employees are often eating and drinking behind the counter while customers are waiting for their order to be taken. Atmosphere is also good. Nice spaces to study, however, chairs are uncomfortable, and hardly any seating for fat/plus size people. I would avoid if you are. Would love to see more accessible seating options from Jupiter House.

I love the place ! Especially having a really cute lgbtq safe place, however the only thing a bought was a chocolate shake (which unfortunately came to be a coffee tasting shake.) But the price seemed reasonable until I got a notification at 2 am the the transaction was upped? To almost 10 dollars? 7-8 dollars is pretty reasonable for a shake but that much?? In this economy? I also do not like how it was changed so randomly days after ..

Coffee was pretty good, the food is fine. Its a coffee shop so don't expect much from the food. Only real issue I have is the complete lack of open seating at most regular hours. Everyone is pretty nice there and they have good service.

The vibe was cool to study/work but I usually order my coffee with heavy cream and they don't offer that here like most coffee shops..

I have always loved Jupiter House, but lately the music has been INCREDIBLY loud. I have had to leave multiple times because I was unable to concentrate or listen to my own music because it was simply far too loud. It is super hard to concentrate, hold a conversation, or even wait inside because of the volume.

Loved the atmosphere and the coffee tasted great, but my server was either having a bad day or needs some training on customer service. It was one of those experiences that made me feel like I didn’t belong because I don’t know the menu. I asked for a Vietnamese coffee, and she simply said, “No, we don’t do that.” No suggestions on alternatives. I just opted for a cup of drip coffee and bounced. Cool view of town square outside and awesome eclectic decor inside. If you’re a coffee aficionado, this place is probably perfect!

After seeing really positive reviews this place was a let down, the staff was so focused on talking to eachother and was not pleasant, I said "thank you" "please" multiple times and not once was I responded to... I asked questions about the coffees and the server was clearly annoyed. Coffee also wasn't good so that capped off a pretty bad visit. Waste of money.

Food is ok, the noise level is absolutely ridiculous. Gave it a few tries trying to work inside but the music is so obnoxiously loud I couldn't hear a conversation with someone right next to me. It goes on and on and isn't calming music either, it's a mix of metal and rock. Not an ideal place to work or hold a conversation. Food is also expensive, there's better places for cheaper on the square.

Gee... $13 for a mid sandwich, $12 for two very burnt coffees? $36 for a sandwich and two drinks... Quality is not on par to price, comparable to starbucks. More worth it to buy decent beans and make it at home. Can't say I'll be back. 😬

If you are looking to study, focus, or even have a conversation — I would not recommend this location. It’s a shadow of the previous establishment. Noise cancelling headphones does little to drown out the extremely loud music blaring in every corner. Food is meh. Coffee is great. Service is great.

Ordered a bagel sandwich and a pack of cake pops and got sick later.. unsure from what because it all tasted kind of off, but didn't want to waste the $45 it all cost. The chicken was still frozen, spinach was either old or unwashed, and the cake pops were mush so I couldn't finish them. Coffee was fine, I just recommend avoiding any of the gross cafeteria food here. Idk, disappointed.

As a place that sells coffee it’s great but as an actual coffee shop it’s terrible. The chairs are incredibly close to the table, there is only a few outlets throughout the whole area and the music is extremely loud. If you’re here to just sit down with friends it’s good but for someone who wants to study and for college students it’s a terrible place. If they had better seating it would be so much better

The coffee was just average and not particularly memorable. I was disappointed that they didn’t fill the cup all the way. I also ordered an iced latte with light ice, but it came filled to the top with ice, which watered it down quickly. Not the best experience.

And this is why I don’t tip beforehand ! We came to this place for a coffee after a 7 hr drive to check out the hype …Nope don’t recommend and will never come back. We asked the lady if she can make us the latte with the kitty on it she said yes I made it and takes a minute . After we payed I heard her complain about the not tipping ! Excuse me but how can you tip before being serviced? I always tip on cash and after being served not before even sitting down . I know how hard baristas work and I’ve traveled around to try many talents ..You know people can hear and see your ugly faces . So than she didn’t do it and we received our latte like in the pics . Not only that the other coffee had regular milk instead of oat milk which of course we can tell …Obviously in this place they will only be nice and do your lattes properly IF you tip beforehand! Horrible place !!!

Not craft coffee may come across as a place that has what your craving but it’s all lights and aesthetic, especially when you order a cappuccino and you get a 16oz latte because believe it or not all there drinks are 16oz if a hipster Starbucks is what your looking for you have landed, I would love to see them make this spot a craft coffee shop with correct size drinks maybe then just then it would be worth the time.
