Fantastic soups; friendly service & they have an extensive menu so if you don’t want pho there are alternatives. Broth is fantastic. Tied for my favorite pho broth with pho 881 down the street both are exceptional just differing in nuances.

Recommend this place for its service, cleanliness, quality of food, and fairness of price. Immediately upon walking in we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff. I had their rare beef/brisket pho which was delicious!! The broth was sooo savory and flavorful. Highly recommend the spring rolls as the peanut sauce that comes with it was highly addictive. The lady who served us was kind enough to send us home with some of their home grown chili peppers. She also gave us some juju bee fruits because we were eating spicy chilis and she said it would help us digest the spice :’) Looking forward to returning to New Pho.

Most delicious pho I’ve had in Long Beach! Great price. And the service is so friendly and helpful. Definitely give this spot a visit, they have a parking lot and plenty of seating. We got rare steak pho and the egg roll, pork, & shrimp bun (kinda like the pho without broth). Both were very delicious. The blended taro drink was also so yummy! I’m already ready to go back and experience that delicious pho broth again (ㅅ´ ˘ `)

Vietnamese soup is delicious, love the food. I asked for a cup of green tea three times and I didn't get it until the end of our meal . The green tea was very good. There was two of us. 2 bowls of delicious soup, 2 wonderful cups of green tea came to $20. The dining room was very comfortable. This place is worth going back a second time.

Maybe I'm biased since I've been eating here off and on since middle school, but the food is awesome, rich, and flavorful at a pretty good price.

New Pho has great Pho and a fantastic staff! I am picky about my Pho so trust me when I say this place is great! The broth is delicious and not watered down. They are super generous here with the meat, noodles and veggies (my favorite) so generous that if I had one complaint it would be that I would like more broth! Prices are super affordable and fair. They accept credit cards and have a nice sized parking lot on the side where the entrance is actually located also another good thing about this spot is they do delivery through PostMates! Definitely will be back again and recommend anyone in the area to try it if they are looking for genuine Pho.

I'm so relieved that they are open during the pandemic! This pho place has always been my favorite pho in LA county. I have tried so many other places but nothing compares to this place. Everything from the customer service, to the tidiness, to the food is simply exquisite! I've been a recurring customer for roughly ten years and I have never been disappointed! To begin with, when we entered they warmly greeted us with a big smile. Also, the restaurant is always clean. The food is really good for such a cheap price. They are generous with their portions and meals. I used to order: chicken breast (ga Uc: g1) or (ga dui: g2). Sometimes, I either took rare steak (pho tai p2) or well-done flank (pho tai Chin P4). My family loves their spring rolls and combo fried rice. For the drinks. we took Thai tea and Iced coffee. i also appreciate their honesty. Over the years my family, my friends and I have the bad habits to forget many valuable items when we left the restaurant such as : Iphone, credit card, laptop, purses belonging to an expensive brand... They ran after us in order to return our missing belongings. We would've lost a good amount of valuable items if it weren't for their help! This place has a big parking, so check them out and you won't regret it! Additionally, they are doing dine-ins once again but with social distancing.

Oh they're Phó is the best! The chicken broth dances the moment you take your first sip. I usually eat there because it is close to where I work. I took some home the other day to have it after the rain, you know good ol chicken Phó to fight off the chill. Sooo Yummy.

Excellent pho!!! Went with my daughter and granddaughters and the service and attention to the kids was exceptional. The food was fresh and hot and the broth was rich and smelled heavenly. We sat outside which was perfect for the rainy day and I cannot wait to go back. I think this is my new favorite place to get Pho🍜

This Vietnamese restaurant right across from our workshop has truly become our favorite lunch spot. My team and I eat here almost every day, and it’s honestly one of the best and most reliable places to grab a meal in the area. When you work long hours like we do, having a great restaurant nearby makes a huge difference, and this place never disappoints. The food is always fresh, hot, and full of authentic flavor. Their pho is absolutely amazing — a huge bowl with rich, aromatic broth, tender meat, and plenty of noodles. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. We’ve also tried the spring rolls, fried rice, vermicelli bowls, grilled chicken, beef, and different noodle dishes, and everything has been consistently delicious and well-prepared. The portion sizes are very generous. Seriously, the plates are BIG. Sometimes one order is enough for two people. You definitely get more than what you pay for, which is rare these days. The prices are very affordable, especially considering the quality and quantity of food. The staff is always friendly, polite, and welcoming. Service is fast, which is perfect for our busy work schedule. The atmosphere is clean, relaxed, and comfortable, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy a proper meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone nearby. If you want tasty, filling, and reasonably priced Vietnamese food, this is the place to go. We’ll definitely keep coming back again and again!

We stopped in early morning to grab pho for breakfast before heading to the airport. Owner is super kind and fixed us a huge bowl of pho. Broth was delicious and loaded with all the fixings including a healthy serving of meat. We left full and satisfied.

I finally found a great pho spot in Long Beach! So glad i found this place. Authentic and delicious, just as it should be. Definitively comparable to places in Garden Grove / Westminster. Other places in Long Beach that I’ve tried have just been missing something, I can’t exactly say what it is. New Pho definitely checks all the boxes for me. Looking forward to going back.

Very kind people, delicious food! We ordered 2 large pho with raw steak & brisket. The large bowls of pho were only $ 12 - something each. Most places that serve pho start their prices at $13, so we were very pleased with this pricing. I also ordered spring rolls that were about $8 for 3. They brought us the pho first, and about 10 minutes later, we were served our spring rolls with the peanut sauce. The pho was amazing. The spring rolls were very good as well. All of that including 2 Pepsi's came out to about $42. It was very worth it! I also love that parking was not an issue here. I will be returning for more 🩷

Absolute 10 out of 10!!! Such a phenomenal restaurant and has their own parking too!! It’s without a doubt my boyfriend and I’s new favorite restaurant for authentic Pho and Vietnamese cuisine. Everything is delicious, fresh and full of flavor. You can really feel the love and dedication put into each meal and the price is super reasonable too! Not only is the food incredible, the staff is extremely friendly and really good at catering to the customers needs!! You definitely feel quite welcomed as you’re greeted in this family owned restaurant upon arrival and also a feeling of reassurance knowing they’re following all of the CDC and Covid guidelines with social distancing and food prep. :) I would definitely recommend any of the this spot to anyone needing a dine in or take out experience and in search of a nice, comforting meal. Thank you so much New PHO!!! We’ll see you again really soon!!

It's probably one of the best fried rice I've ever had. The service here is very nice, very hospitable and kind people. The food is really good, and I've also gotten the vietnamese iced condensed milk coffee. Personally, I really like it because I like my coffee strong. Overall, it is a good authentic vietnamese pho restaurant. I would definitely come here again.

The very best PHO on Anaheim, possibly even all of long beach. This place it's very cozy, the service was fast and responsive to our needs. I don't eat out at Asian food places much but today i was in real need of some delicious hot soup soul food. My first and definitely not my last time coming here. I ordered the beef with tendon, it was hearty and delicious. The tendon was very soft and the broth needed very little extra seasoning. For the price of the regular pho bowl it was enough to get me full, and I like to eat a lot when i get the munchies! Definitely worth the visit.

PHO...was delicious . It tasted like a family recipe ! Did a broth test and it was so well made u didn't need to add anything . It was truly so yummy. Their coconut water with coconut meat was so refreshing and their Thai tea was well balanced too. Also... It was busy! But prompt attentive service by a family run place. Hole in the wall spot with picnic table style . And my son enjoyed the book they provided. That was such a sweet touch to our time here. We will definitely be back!

Family business. They are super wonderful and friendly. It's difficult to find soup places open for breakfast. I love the food here. Once I came on a Monday morning g and they were randomly slammed. I'm guessing a lot of people had hangovers. Anyhow, it's usually no that long of a wait and the dining area is very family casual.

This is by far the best pho spot in Long Beach! It is so tasty, affordable, and the attention to service is unmatched. Their broth alone is heavenly, and they're always very generous on the amount of noodles & meat they add to their soups. It is owned by a lovely couple who will always manage to put a smile on your face. If you go enough times, they eventually memorize your name and make the dining experience that much more meaningful. I can't say enough good things about this little whole in the wall. 10/10, go try it! PS: Parking is a plus because they have their own parking lot and they're closed on Tuesdays! :)

The Pho is great plenty of noodles and meat. Alao a great veriaty of meat from filet minion to meatballs to shrimp. Also the egg rolls were amazing wotj a side of fish sauce. The place itself is a little run down but the food makes it worth while.

They broth came out piping HOT like its suppose to be! That'show I love mine. The Pho broth was just is average to my taste. It lacked the full beefy flavor from simmering beef bones overnight. I also could not taste the toasted spices thats makes up the characteristics of an excellent tasting Pho. The taste of the broth is too water down for me. However, its very generous on the meats. The rice noodles is thinner than what I remember the last time I was here. The service is fantastic! Warm and welcoming. The husband and wife team are amazing. Itbmade my visit a memorable experience.

Pho is good, egg rolls are delish. Service is consisently warm, friendly and inviting. One of the female owners gave me a yellow rose one time, it was so sweet. I was having a rough week and it just warmed my heart to the fullest that someone would be so kind for no reason ❤️ And who doesn't love a place in LB with a parking lot?!

I was in Long Beach and decided I wanted some Pho. A few places were closed today but New Pho was open. They have their own parking lot so that’s a plus. It’s an older building but I’m not there to check out the decor. Seat yourself and they’ll bring you a menu. I ordered a large Pho Tai. Food was good and hot. Friendly server/waiter.

The broth was not great, the green pepper as a tad too hot, and the egg roll was so so. The saving grace is my wife saw a thrift store benefiting new beginnings for women and children, there within she found two very classy accent tables and a roll top desk. All were in great condition. They were having a sale, so that was a bonus.

I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I was wrong. The food wasn't bad at beginning. I normally ordered chicken breast pho. The last time that I went to this place they mixed dark meat with white meat and it turned off my appetite. I told the lady in charge that I had ordered white meat, but that I could see dark meat in my pho. She insisted that it was white meat, which was a lie. The last three times that I visited this place I also ordered a Thai tea. The Thai tea doesn't look nor taste like Thai tea because she fills up the glass with half and half and ice, hardly any tea. The last time that I was there I ordered a Thai tea with very light ice and half and half so I could have a Thai tea and not milk with ice. She told me that it was going to be sweet with light half and half and light ice. I clearly replied to her and I made sure that she understood that that was the way a Thai tea was supposed to be made and that it was the way I like it. She turned around to talk to another employee in their own language and then she went ahead and gave me once again milk with ice, hardly any tea. She completely disregarded my request and made the tea her way. I am completely fed up with New Pho and their lack of customer service. I wish to be able to give them a minus star, but, unfortunately, I can't.clace. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review for this restaurant. I really love Vietnamese cuisine and have been to many places, so there is something to compare. I can't even explain what it was, but it certainly wasn't Vietnamese food. First they brought me burnt meat and I had to explain why I didn’t want to eat it, then after waiting half an hour they finally replaced my order, but it looked and tasted just awful. I don’t know how they managed to spoil the meat so much, because even frying it at home in a skillet would be much tastier than what they cooked. The meat looked very red and tasted strange. I didn't eat it. I highly NOT recommend this weird place

“Voted best Vietnamese food” in 2021, I had little reason to expect what came next… Immediately felt dingy inside on a bright day. Unclean bathroom. There were bananas (on the floor) in front of the register. Sometimes you see little altars at pho places, but this was strange. After reading into altars, I can call it foreshadowing: “Whatever and however we treat our altar represents how we are and what we do. It’s a mirror of yourself.” We were the only customers, and made our presence known at 2:30pm on Saturday. They had many coin machines for children’s trinkets. Despite being kitschy, it made me nostalgic. The machine we used promptly ate the quarters and returned nothing. Another bad omen. Two people appeared to be on staff, and interactions were weird. We needed 2min to decide. After 2min, the server paced and passed the table saying something like “I’ll take the order now” — not really directed at us, like she was talking to herself. Then she walked off before returning for the actual order. I can’t speak to authenticity, but I can speak to the relative quality, value, and service. I moved from CO with a large selection of Pho, introduced to me through my Vietnamese friend. First, the positive: the rare beef and brisket pho tasted good to me. I will note the small portion of toppings (2 jalapeño slices and a few basil leaves) and lemons instead of limes. I only ever use a small portion of the toppings. Also, I like lemons. Others may prefer otherwise. The toppings weren’t extremely fresh, but ok. I got Thai iced tea w/boba. It tasted good but the boba quality was low. I missed breakfast and started to eat. My company didn’t get food until I was done. When the beef vermicelli came, the “beef” was scarce, black, and burned. Simply mentioning “beef” prompted the man to say it was “pork”. We ordered beef. He changed his mind to “beef”, and needed to confirm with the only other worker. I presume he was the cook (maybe one of 2). I passed the tiny kitchen earlier. That he was confused at all about what kind of meat he was serving didn’t bode well. My standards for presentation are low (as long as it tastes good). I even tried to defend the dish; however, the more we examined, I had to admit it was bad. We mentioned it was burned, and they…. well, they thought nothing was wrong, but took it back before anything was eaten. Did I mention we ordered Spring rolls. After taking the already-late vermicelli “beef” dish, we received those. They were thin and limp, with large gaps in the rice paper, cilantro missing. The rice paper was thick and too chewy. Something was off about the flavor — maybe the shrimp. The peanut sauce was bad and didn’t mask the problems. As we reluctantly tried to finish these, I was half-expecting Gordon Ramsey to come out, Kitchen Nightmares style. When they approached the table after this, they awkwardly laughed, presumably to preempt awkwardness. The meat was not burned twice, at least. The person with me does not like to add sauces with sugar, but the server tried very much to force them to mix the sauce in — as if that would make it bearable. We informed her it had to do with sweetness. There was a strong fish sauce on another table, but the server presumed we wouldn’t like the “fishiness”. I told her this was preferred before she handed it to us. The egg rolls on the dish were now missing. I believe this was due to a language barrier when we questioned the beef. I think they assumed we didn’t want them and left them out. We both tried the new dish and decided it was terrible. The meat tasted off, and was overall unappetizing. I started to question the freshness and quality of items already eaten. Service was confusing. At one point the server tip-toed to the table to place 2 mandarin oranges. Dessert? I think she went outside to get them. We left them and most of the vermicelli dish. We fed the remaining meat (whatever it was) to our dog. I want this restaurant to improve if it’s somehow one of the best-rated in my new home of Long Beach. They can do so much better.

I don't want to be mean, but the food here was horrible. The egg roll wraps weren't fried, the beef broth had no flavor, and the peanut sauce for the spring rolls either had vinegar in it, or it was def sour (rotten).

I went here because I was feeling under the weather and wanted some broth from the pho soup to sooth my sore throat only to leave disappointed and disgusted🤮 As I already been sipping the broth and had taken a few bites I noticed something black hanging in the noodles and I almost ate it only to look closer it was a big dead fly 🤢 as if I wasn’t already sick this just made me feel more sick😭 I called the guy who I think was the owner over to show it to him and his reply was “ oh you know there’s flies everywhere we have no control over them “ to which I understand but that still doesn’t make it ok for it to be in the soup that many people had already eaten. They’re are many ways to prevent flies from going in and on food. Who knows how many flies were in my soup before I ate it or other customers who had showed up before or after me. After telling the worker he told me they would make me a new bowl to which I rejected because I didn’t want to eat anything else from this restaurant from being disgusted because I just ate fly soup 🤢 I took a picture and my flash turned on and he seen it and he rushed back over to tell me if I was done because he was low key trying to rush me out before other customers can see what was going on and they would lose business. I honestly feel bad for not telling the other customers but I was so sick to my stomach I just wanted to get out of there. Attached is a photo and the fly on the top right of the bowl 🤮

This is my 1st time trying them and it is the LAST TIME!!!! I paid $8.29 for these very skimpy and nasty spring rolls and I asked for no pork and they put pork in it. They only put 2 miniature tiny shrimp a tiny tiny bit of white noodle and a very tiny bit of some nasty lettuce that’s it and soooo not worth your money at all. I also ordered a large size pho and received the smallest pho I ever seen. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!!

This is NOT a traditional/authentic Vietnamese Vermicelli dish. Pork shouldn’t be red and the shrimp is not grilled and is obviously from those frozen shrimp packages from the grocery store. The type of vermicelli as well as the cheap lettuce is also wrong - no authentic Vietnamese place would use this. NEVER ordering from here again
