I’m waiting for this place to open right now but finally writing a review bc I have time. This will be my 7th time going here since it opened. I just want to say that my first experience I didn’t have cash bc I forgot and all I wanted was one baguette bc I wanted for my nephew who only eats bread. The lady gave it to me for free lol I’ll never forget how nice she was. I come here for the bahn mi with everything on it and the fresh spring rolls. Their bread is amazing and has a hint of coconut milk, I think. It’s my fave baguette around here and also the Jasmin milk tea is delicious. I would come here more often if I lived nearby and wasn’t trying to lose weight😂

Delicious food with generous portions and super reasonable prices. The people working are super nice and the space is clean and well lit. There’s a few basic tables inside, not a full dine-in spot really. Easy parking in the strip mall too!

We love going to this place. When we are in the Long Beach area. Their sandwiches are good and a great value. Vietnamese coffee is very good as well. I really wish they would put one closer to the South Bay, but they have a handful between Long Beach and Orange County.

This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Long Beach. The staff is super friendly and kind, and the food is always fresh and delicious. I usually get the grilled chicken banh mi, but I’ve also had their egg rolls, spring rolls, and other banh mis and everything has always been delicious! Highly recommend their service.

This place is an absolute gem! The banh mi here is beyond amazing—every bite is packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients, from the perfectly crispy baguette to the savory meats and fresh herbs. The balance of flavors is spot-on, and you can tell the ingredients are top-quality. It's truly incredible! I grew up eating Banh Mi with my family in Vietnam, and as a Banh Mi enthusiast, I can confirm that Pickle is simply beyond amazing. The prices are also incredible, and the portions are MASSIVE! (Great bang for your buck). On top of that, the customer service is out of this world. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience, and it really shows how much they care about their customers. They are always so sweet, and because my mom goes in so frequently, they know her name, her order, and they are just truly modeling a customer service that values care, kindness, and a delivering a great quality product. Every single person in the store is so sweet! If you’re looking for a spot that delivers both mind-blowing food and heartwarming service, this is the place. I can’t recommend it enough! I'll definitely be coming back again and again!

My favorite banh mi in SoCal. Growing up in San Jose, banh mi places were plentiful. I've been trying to find a good banh mi since moving to Pedro a few years ago and this is easily my favorite. I had the grilled pork and the meat was savory and cooked perfectly. Daikon and carrots were pickled just right. Jalapeños were just the roght amount and the baguette was crunchy outside but soft inside. Other dishes we tried were all a hit with my discerning family. Go to Pickle, you will not be disappointed.

I had the best grilled chicken Banh Mi today! The watermelon juice was refreshing and not too sweet and the flan had the perfect texture and boba pearls at the bottom! Definitely a must when you’re in the LB area!

Me and my hubby stopped by today for the first time & let me tell you the subs were so delicious the bread is toasty soft perfect and the chicken very crispy and lots of flavor we will be coming back forsure!!! 10/10

Having just recently returned from our 1st visit to Vietnam, we got home craving banh mi. Pickled Banh Mi has filled that place in our stomachs. The restaurant vibe was open and bright and the crew behind the counter was super welcoming and patient. We got the pork belly and the lemongrass beef banh mi, as well as the pork and shrimp spring rolls. The sandwiches are huge and tasted amazing! They’ve nailed the bun and the crunch alongside the tasty meats was perfect. We can’t wait to eat here again. How much is too much banh mi?!

Recently opened at LB location, which is cool. I have gotten their sandwich before, which was mind-blowing, but I wanted to try something different and got the braised pork and egg. Tasted like Asian home comfort food! Their wintermelon drink was also excellent. There are very few tables to dine in, but really, the place is meant for takeout.

Forget the sausage or the shrimp spring rolls. You have to try the crispy crunchy pork belly spring rolls. They are so good. The banh mi, I can't choose which one, they are all good. My kid likes the chicken plate but he needs his rice and chicken. Service is pretty fast. I usually call in my order. People are friendly. The place is a bit small if you want to eat in. Parking has plenty of spaces. Oh, no hidden service charges or fees tacked on the receipts. Overall, good food with good service.

Banh Mi was good but I was hooked by their braised pork belly. Pork belly was tender and juicy and the soup was flavorful. Came here for Banh Mi but ended up falling in love with braised pork belly unexpectedly.

I had the vegetarian sandwich. It came with tofu and mushroom too, which seemed to be cooked in curry sauce and was very juicy and tasty! The cashier who took my order was polite and helpful. Looks like a busy place. Even though we ordered from the counter, there's a seating area. Will be back to try more.

My pork belly was delicious! Hands down one of the best bahn mi’s I’ve had in a long time. The pork was tender, the chicharone was crispy, the vegetables crisp and fresh, and the bread was shatterly glass like and tender.

It’s around lunch time and I had to wait about 15 minutes for 3 sets of spring rolls later added 2 more drinks which isn’t bad. They can get very busy. People are very nice here and the food is very good! They are very busy during lunch time so call in advance so you don’t have to wait long.

Hi guys I was craving a banh so I came here and I’m not gonna lie it was pretty good with the exception that I personally only like chicken breast and this grilled chicken banh was dark meat. The sandwich was fresh from the bread to all the condiments but the dark meat kinda gave me weird vibes lol once again it’s just me. My bf had the pork belly banh and loved it! Come and try for yourself! The place was busy and crowded and wasn’t the cleanest and so that’s why I gave it low stars the cashier was cheerful

I tried the bao and milk tea are good. Staff is nice. Its a little small, cooll they have chargers you can use while your there. I want to try all the food looks good can be a little high though.

that viet coffee absolutely floored me, but the bánh mì dragged it from a perfect score. the coffee tasted like a melted caramelised tirmaisu in a cup: indulgently creamy, thick, not too sweet, but generally on the lighter end on actual coffee strength, so not for caffiene chasers ☝️🙂 the combination bánh mì, option 1, was.. meh: very bready, could use more pickled veg, and the meat slices were more of a "polite suggestion of flavour" than the rich-meaty flavours i was expecting. i'm fully hooked on their coffee, but not sure on the bánh mìs.. yet!

I’ve been here once before for the crispy pork belly banh mi. I liked it, but wasn’t a fan of that creamy sauce in it. I like my banh mi dry… no sauce or soggy bread (that’s my pet peeve). This time I tried the grilled pork banh mi, nem and banh bao and their Vietnamese milk coffee. A few things about other reviewers commenting- I agree the pickled veggies could be more pickled but this didn’t bother me. Also, the Vietnamese coffee isn’t the traditional kind but it’s because it’s a “milk tea”. This was fine with me- obviously more mild than Lee’s or Da Vien so if you’re looking for that crack feeling you should get it there LOL. You get a lot of bang for your buck here. The banh mi is made fresh and it shows. It’s perfect. I feel like all their food/ingredients taste fresh… which is refreshing compared to other places. I also appreciate their variety of food and drinks. You can get your Vietnamese food fix without having to go to a hole in the wall or restaurant- it’s quick easy and delish! The area specifically, I didn’t find any problems with it. Some mentioned it being in a not so nice area… my only complaint would be that I wish it had a drive thru… for convenience. I’ll definitely be back! It won’t be my last time here. Next on my list is to try their banh mi Dac biet and maybe another dish- and their pineapple drink!

I used to like going here every so often but my past couple experiences with their Banh mi’s haven’t been good. Today I got the wrong sandwich (could be my fault, might have asked for the wrong 1). The bread was extremely hard and stale or over roasted if they reheat their bread. Quality has gone down since they opened. Unfortunately today’s sandwich was such a disappointment. I’ll probably never order a Banh mi there again. Their spring rolls are still good though.

Ordered and paid ahead online. Arrived 10 mins after order. Pickup said it would take 30 mins. Waited 30 mins. Went up to cashier. She says I didn't check in. Never heard of having to check in to a paid online order before. They didn't start my order until I said something. Waited an additional 25 minutes to get my food. 25+ people walked in after I got there, ordered, and walked out before I got my food. I would have received my food 25 minutes faster if I had just ordered in person when I got there. Food was decent. To the restaurant: feel free to comp customers an item when your mess up their order. Maybe play a recording on loop saying "we won't start processing your online order until you tell us you're here". Have a sign posted somewhere telling online customers they have to check in for some reason. Or maybe don't take online orders.
