Review for Celiacs / Gluten free: GREAT food and very gluten free friendly. The menu clearly labels which items are gluten free. Certain dishes not labeled GF can be modified upon request. The waiter was knowledgeable about celiacs and confirmed the kitchen can take steps to avoid contamination (gloves/tool swap). Fryer is not dedicated GF. And the food was delicious! I had the Tom Yum (extra spicy) and the colossal crab meat Pad Thai. The crab meat was succulently sweet and big chunks of meat. The Tom Yum had so much seafood in it. Big scallops and big muscles. The spice level was perfect. Very hot and not excruciating. My sister ordered the Papaya Salad (delicious) and the spicy pad Thai (also delicious). I am very sensitive celiac and I felt fine afterward. The Thai iced tea also comes with a frozen Thai Tea popsicle sticking out of it.
Hubby and I drove from Riverside to have dinner for Valentine's Day. Traffic caused us to get there later than expected but the owner sat us and made sure we were great. Food excellent. Calamari with that sauce. Chefs kiss. Colossal crab fried rice. Yellow curry! Thai tea amazing. The popsicle!!! Vibe vintage. Service awesome. We will return. There's other things to try.
We were very happy to come across this place and try new food in long Beach. They have a great lunch special so we decided to have a bit of everything that sounded good, good thing for me they had pictures to help in deciding what to pick. Everything came out hot and smelling delicious. We will be back and try other items on the menu. I did recommend trying the ice tea special, its fun to try once. Left very satisfied and happy. They have their own parking lot, but I'm sure it get crowded during dinner hours. Make sure you come hungry , because you're going to want to try everything on the menu. The work staff was on point and to help with any requests we had and to explain what some of the items we order were like. This is a little gem that should be shared with friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful lunch !
This is one of those rare spots that completely lives up to the hype. The crab fried rice is easily the best I’ve had anywhere in LA/OC. They aren't stingy with the crab, it's perfectly seasoned, and not greasy. Their pad Thai is just as good/it’s the closest I’ve come to the flavors I remember from my trips to Thailand. Prices are more than reasonable given the quality, which probably explains why it’s always busy. The only downside is the outdoor seating...it can get hot and humid, so if you have the option, definitely choose an inside table. Overall, Kin is absolutely worth the the wait, and it’s become my go-to for authentic Thai in this area.
Just got Uber eats delivered to our Airbnb and it’s soooooooooo good! Bbq beef, yellow curry with tofu, avocado rolls, and edamame. Prepared quickly, delivered expediently, and beyond tasty!
I was in town visiting and my friend suggested this restaurant. It’s top notch. I was really impressive with the customer service and the food. The food is made to order. Fresh and not over cooked. I had the fried rice and the coconut soup and they both were amazing. Probably one of the best I’ve had among Thai restaurants. The wait staff constantly checked on us and the vibe in the restaurant was very welcoming. The prices were great. I felt good after my visit. Definitely stop by here
This place is the bomb!! Beautiful restaurant, amazing food, great atmosphere and wonderful staff. The dishes are well made, full of flavor and delicious. They do it up!! And the prices are very reasonable. Love it, will definitely go back!
Came here for dinner and it was a very good experience. Staff was friendly and place is very nice. Ordered spicy pad Thai and it was full of flavor. I would definitely come back and would recommend. Plenty of parking as well.
Outstanding meal and will definitely return. Met coworkers here for lunch and I can see why it is on their weekly rotation. The menu has a wide variety of traditional s d unique items, they have a great lunch special, and colorful photos of many of the dishes. Once we ordered, the food arrived quickly which is always nice for a working lunch. All the dishes were vibrant, flavorful and exactly the spice level requested. Taking our allergies into account, they offered alternatives to some dishes and there were no issues.
Best Thai food that I had. My twin sister, her husband, his sister and myself came on a Sunday night. We got several dishes to share amongst each other and I was satisfied. We got crab rangoons, orange chicken, fried rice, chow mein, and garlic broccoli (with beef). So good!
The Thai tea popsicle is so good. The popsicle is perfectly soften by the time you’re done with your meal making it a good little dessert.
Good food and good prices for a place near the ocean. Decors are very nice. Modern look.
Must stop by this place.. Everything was delicious and everyone around food look so good. Use, what are those places? You got to try everything on the menu. Oh the cocktails fire.
Can't wait to come back. That's how good this restaurant is. Service was amazingly fast. When served, our dishes looked nice and the food had a delicious aroma. Definitely want to keep trying out the rest of their food on their menu. Not only did they have a nice interior decor, but they also had a unique Thai tea because of its presentation. Note: parking is not the best. Might want to find parking space near by if the small parking lot is full.
My food was absolutely amazing as was the service! I got the garlic noodles with shrimp and it was to die for! I live in Oregon and this is definitely a go-to for me when I'm here visiting!

I've been in Long Beach a long time and I believe this is the best Thai food in Long Beach or any neighboring city. The food is unbelievably tasty. You cannot go wrong with any of the soups, noodle dishes, or curries. I've also had the papaya salad which is more flavorful than other restaurants. Honestly, there has not been a dish here that I didn't think was amazing. Highly recommend.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a great experience overall. I ordered the Tom Yum soup, which was absolutely delicious - flavorful, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. I also tried the Thai tea, which was just okay, a bit more on the average side. For the main dish, I had the spicy Pad Thai. It was a little rich for my taste, but still tasty and satisfying. What really stood out to me, beyond the food, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, which made the meal feel even more enjoyable. The interior of the restaurant is also worth mentioning - it’s playfully and thoughtfully decorated, creating a friendly and welcoming vibe. Overall, I’d recommend it for the food and especially for the atmosphere and service.
I really enjoyed the crispy bok choy! The avocado rolls were like a salad wrap. My children really liked the popsicles and Thai iced tea of course. The lychee iced tea was refreshing not too sweet. Only thing I would change is to tell them to go easy on the charring of the meat, the crab fried rice tasted a bit burnt, however the charring on the shrimp in the shrimp fried rice tasted amazing though, the shimp are big and a good portion size. Nonetheless it was a great place and I will definitely return.
The inside is sooo much better than the outside (area). This is a date spot for sure. Set up for couples with mostly 2 person tables with some family tables. They get the good to you quick so you leave fast. It's still a really good experience. The food was better than average but not top notch. I ordered the nutty chicken, ordered with top level spice (yes you can choose, I love that), breaded chicken in a spicy chili sauce with cashews. It was pretty good. The flavors were plenty but the chicken part, just wasn't top quality, a little chewy. 7.7/10. She ordered the chicken pad see ew. The chicken wasn't flavored well, she asked for my sauce to put on her noodles for flavor. 6.4/10. Spring rolls were regular spring rolls. Spent $48. The staff was nice, the location was very clean, modern and updated. I would go back.

I stopped by Kin Restaurant in Long Beach for some Thai food. I hadn’t been here in a long time, so I decided to give it another visit. The restaurant is clean, has nice decor, and offers an amazing atmosphere. We were seated fairly quickly, but unfortunately, after being seated it took almost 10 minutes for our server to come back to offer drinks or check if we were ready to order. What made it more frustrating was that about five minutes after we were seated, the table across from us was seated and had their order taken almost immediately. Once we were finally helped, we ordered: Pad Woon Sen (glass noodles with chicken, bok choy, carrot, white onion, green onion, mushroom, and egg — I added shrimp) Nutty Chicken (crispy chicken with cashew nuts, bell peppers, onions, and dried chili in a roasted chili sauce) Avocado Roll (avocado, spring mix, basil leaves, and cucumber wrapped in rice paper; vegetarian and gluten-free) The Pad Woon Sen was good overall, but it would have been better if the shrimp and chicken were seasoned the same way as the rest of the dish. The Nutty Chicken was very good — well seasoned and full of flavor. My favorite item of the meal was the Avocado Rolls. Simple, fresh, and full of flavor — absolutely delicious. Despite the slow start with service, the food itself was solid, and I’d still consider coming back, especially for the Avocado Rolls.

Had this restaurant on my hit list for a while since it popped up on my IG feed. Also, a friend recommended it. It's a 30 minutes drive from my home. Lucky they have a small private parking lot as parking is a bit challenging in that area. When we arrived the parking mostly full but lucky found one last available spot. We were excited to try the food and also a bit hungry. We arrived at 3:45pmas we were trying to get a super early dinner to beat the crowd and also to go to the beach afterwards to enjoy the day and watch the sunset. There were many people waiting in the parking lot which we found a bit unusual. Then when we walked to the entrance we saw a hand written sign that said they will reopen at 5:30pm. It looked like it originally said 5:00pm but over written to 5:30pm We decided to wait a bit since we were already there. There's no outside seating so we just sat in the car. While waiting, we saw so many people come and leave once they realized that the restaurant wasn't open. They lost so many customers. We tried waiting but the area was too hot. So after an hour of waiting we decided to take our business elsewhere that's open. There are lots of restaurants in the area that are open. It seems like they open in the morning then close midday then reopen later in the afternoon. I understand a few Asian restaurants do that but at least they list their operating hours online out at the entrance. We left very disappointed...very let down. The restaurant looks like it has plenty of indoor and covered patio seating. There were guests inside eating. I guess they arrived before they closed midday. They need to correct their operating hours online! I might considered returning if they address their hours of operations as I'll not drive again just to find them closed.
Food was good. Highly recommend the curry. Service was pretty bad. My dish arrived but after 10 minutes we asked where my wife’s dish was. They said it’s coming and then avoided us for another 20 minutes until it finally came out. They would make eye contact and actually avoid us. I understand if you forgot to ring it in but communicate that. I was served my dish as the table next to us was order. They all received their mains before my wife. Crazy.
I've been a big fan of this place since it opened... but had a bad experience at lunch today... in addition to our drinks and appetizers, we ordered a Pad Thai Lunch Special and a Red Curry Lunch Special... the server took our order and even read it back to us correctly. Instead of our lunch specials, we were brought a large sized Red Curry a la carte, and an order of fried rice... very confused, we inquired with the server and were told she brought us this instead because she thought it would suit us better then what we intentionally ordered... not wanting to be difficult, I accepted the large bowl of curry. The person I was with sent the random fried rice back and waited awkwardly for their pad thai lunch special to arrive while i sat with a giant bowl of curry minus sides... the food and service has always been great here, but the girl working today totally messed up our order, charged me for a higher priced ala carte item rather than what I ordered, and not only gave us bad service but didnt offer any apologies or corrections.. very disappointed by today's experience.
