Frisch. Sauber. Sehr freundlich und top essen ! 100 Prozent empfehlenswert!
Excellent Thai food. Some of the best I’ve had in New York!
Amazing food! The lunch special is a great deal.
Long wait times if you do not order advance!! Otherwise, great food!
Decent take out spot for takeout lunch near Court Square
Best Fried Rice & Chicken Dumpling Soup
Good, reliable staple for Thai food
Incredibly delicious drunken noodles. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood!
Best Thai food in the neighborhood!
Food is really good here.
Great customer service.
Great hospitality and great food!!!
Food was delicious.
Yum.
I love this place. I’ve been here twice and it’s exactly what I’m looking for on a Sunday afternoon. Easy, fresh and quick service and they even give a free app. It’s so hard to find a good vegan / vegetarian Thai curry and theirs is so good. I got the green curry and the pumpkin curry and both were awesome.
The staff are so nice and the food is great!! I do think the chef or owner changed because the food is slightly more bland (and less meat/veggies than 1 year ago) but it still is really good!!
Good tasty - well portioned Thai food. Friendly service. The owner/chef is greeting everyone with a smile. I'll be back.
had ordered takeout, it was actually beyond expectations which is why i had to leave a comment. really enjoyed the chicken dumplings, and chicken pad thai.
The pad thai was delicious. Nice portion size. Very friendly staff. Will definitely order from them again.
Very clean and welcoming spot.
pleasantly surprised, really flavorful and great spice level. had the drunken noodles with chicken.
Very nice cozy place, great food and friendly people, they don't beg you to tip
Very good Thai food in lic. Great portion. I usually do take out
Love this place!!! Thank you for serving LIC community Definitely 5 stars. Pad Thai and Tom yum soup always above the standard!!!
Our normal place was closed which turned out to be a blessing! The food I was Amazing and the customer service equally matched will order again
Chicken Pad Thai was great. Fresh and the portion was big too. 🔥
The crab meat fried rice is delicious and a great variety of vegetables with the added spice.
Absolute staple of the neighborhood I hope they stay forever their curries are incredible
Who needs plastic furniture and techno music when you can have authentic Thai food? This delicious menu is worth coming back for. Don't forget to give a courteous bow back to the owner, who may greet you with this lovely gesture.
It’s the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been in NYC! I’ve been trying different Thai restaurants but haven’t found anything authentic. This is the one! This Thai restaurant makes me feel like having food at home! Highly recommend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Heng Thai is a humble Thai restaurant that surprises me with its delicious flavors. The unassuming appearance may not catch your eye, but the food speaks for itself. From the moment I took my first bite, I was transported back to the vibrant streets of Bangkok, savoring the authentic tastes that I had missed dearly. The menu offers a delightful selection of Thai dishes, each prepared with care and attention to detail. The flavors are rich and complex, reminiscent of the culinary delights found in Thailand. While the prices may be a bit higher for takeout, I find myself treating myself to these mouthwatering dishes whenever I crave Thai food or when there's a promotional discount available on Uber Eats. The service is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall dining experience. It's not a fancy spot, but if you're looking for genuine Thai flavors without having to travel far, this place is worth a visit. It's become my go-to spot when I'm in the mood for some authentic Thai cuisine.
I would not notice this place walking by, but after trying it, it proved to be most delicious, clean and fresh food. Highly recommend it. The dishes were not too greasy, leaving our belies feeling great snd satisfied. We loved so many of the dishes here and the custard desert was special. Also the waiter was so nice and friendly snd it seemed that they were so happy to provide such amazing tasty food.
The popcorn chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had. A curry seasoning under the cornflake breading was unique and very flavorful. They also made a perfect thai iced tea. Will have to come back and try more!
**Heng Tai Thai Restaurant: A Pork Lover's Paradise** If you're in the mood for Thai cuisine that tantalizes your taste buds, look no further. This gem offers a culinary journey worth savoring. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Heng Tai, and I must say, their pork dishes are a revelation. One standout dish that stole the show was their crispy yet tender pork. With each bite, I savored the delightful contrast of crispy outer layers, giving way to succulent, well-seasoned meat. The attention to detail in seasoning elevated the dish to new heights, showcasing the chef's mastery of flavor. Each bite was a harmonious blend of spices that danced on the palate, leaving a lingering satisfaction that kept me craving more. Beyond the pork, Heng Tai's ambiance and service were equally commendable. The cozy atmosphere and attentive staff enhanced the overall dining experience, making it a place I'll surely revisit. Whether you're a pork aficionado or simply seeking authentic Thai cuisine done right, Heng Tai Thai Restaurant exceeds expectations. Prepare to indulge in a culinary adventure that will leave you craving more. **Rating: 5/5**
Came here for lunch and it was delicious! We got pad see ew and cashew nut mains with veggie dumpling and Tom yum soup appetizers ($11 lunch special), plus Thai iced coffee. Every single dish was so fresh and yummy. Staff are super nice as well. Highly recommended.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Thai Restaurant, and it was an absolute treat! Located conveniently in the neighborhood, this gem offers an authentic Thai culinary experience without breaking the bank. The food was bursting with flavor—from the perfectly balanced Pad Thai to the aromatic Green Curry, each dish was a testament to the chef’s expertise. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the spice levels could be customized to suit any palate. I particularly loved the Tom Yum soup, which had just the right amount of tanginess and heat. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with attentive staff who made sure we felt right at home. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or enjoying a relaxed dinner with friends and family, this place delivers on every front. If you’re looking for great-tasting Thai food at an affordable price, look no further. This Thai Restaurant is a neighborhood treasure I’ll be returning to again and again!
Great thai restaurant with reasonable lunch special prices. Their food is really tasty too and they have amazing service. Highly recommend this neighborhood spot. The cashier is always so sweet. FYI $12 Lunch special comes out to $13.07 after tax
That was the best duck I've had in a while. All the employees were very sweet! Awesome little restaurant.
I ordered the crispy pork drunken noodles with Thai iced tea and it was really good. Came with a free appetizer as well. The atmosphere is cozy and homely. Window seats are absolutely suitable for solo dine-in.
Good Thai food. Friendly staff.
This is the go to place for us for Thai food We ordered for Chicken Curry puffs: Perfectly Crispy and filled with awesomeness Chicken Massaman Curry: One of the best in town Chicken Drunken Noodles: Very well made and great in taste, one of the best we have had so far The Entrees come with one appetizer for which we ordered their Chicken Dumplings Highly recommended if you like Thai food

Heng Thai is great!! They are a cozy little Thai spot right by the train and MoMA PS1; they have really nice helpful staff; and they also have an affordable lunch special.
Friendly service, food was great. Prices were reasonable. Smelled just a little funny inside but not an issue for a quick meal.
Very nice Thai restaurant. I like to come here during my lunch time. The sesame chicken is my favorite dish here. The employees are very friendly and always treat me well. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for some good Thai food. 10/10
Omg the best Thai food in whole of NYC!!! And everyone working there is soooo friendly and so welcoming!!! Thank you!!! Kop khun ka✨️ periodt✨️✨️🙏

Good local Thai spot. Relatively unremarkable for New York but it’s reliable, quick, cheap, and good.
Quick service and good food for reasonable price.
Tired 3 different dishes and all of them were quite delicious. Dinging 1 star though as I thought pricing was a bit high when considering the “fast food” vibe here—believe Tuk Tuk on Vernon is actually cheaper while having a more luxurious feel to it.
Nice little Thai spot, very "middle-class portions" for the price (given the mostly gentrified nabe), good food though they take more care to "carmelize" (Milliard Reaction) the tofu but not their meats! Standard Thai menu except for the duck and conveniently located so looking forward to being a regular now!
This place is a standard take out Thai place with minimal seating inside. For the price you’re paying (lunch special is around $12), it’s a great deal. However, the food is nothing special and I would say it’s the same quality and taste as any cheap Thai street food. Would recommend this place if you’re in need of some fast and affordable Thai food.
Casual, no frills, small Thai restaurant with friendly staff, delicious food, and an affordable menu! The front and back staff are from Thailand, which was a positive sign. They accept both cash, credit card, and mobile payments. They have a wonderful lunch menu set with an appetizer and main dish, which is incredible!
Delish casual Thai place! I came during their lunch special which includes a side with your entree. I got the chicken pad see ew with a side salad. Solid pad see ew and generous portions. I loved the salad dressing as well. Also the staff was so warm and welcoming.
The restaurant is not fancy but to my surprise the food was pretty good. I got that certain flavor I get while eating in Bangkok. The Penang curry was good too. Mango sticky rice was only one which I didn’t like much, could be coz mangoes here aren’t good enough. It’s bit pricy looking at the restaurant but worth the food.
Small and extremely no frills area to dine in or wait for take out. Tried the Pumpkin Curry with shrimp, did not disappoint. It was just right for me in spiciness, and the pumpkin gave it a subtle sweetness which I liked. My boyfriend had the Pad Woonsen, which had some nice asian vegetables such as baby corn and bok choy. Was very flavorful. Both dishes were not bland at all.

Small clean place. Seating for about 15. Crispy pork belly was not crispy, not even in the least bit. Thus the fatty parts were not enjoyable. With this entree was Chinese broccoli and fried egg over white rice, were good. Appetizer part of meal served first, with small pitcher of water and plastic cup of ice. People flowed in and out during noon hour. Elderly man at register took orders, brought food to tables, and cleared tables.
My friend ordered the basil fried rice, but it lacked flavor. Even though the spice level was supposed to be mild, there was no heat whatsoever. I ordered the drunken noodles with pork, but they mistakenly served me chicken instead. Overall, the food was underwhelming.
I ordered delivery from here and thought that it was alright. They gave really good deals on UberEats and the delivery was very fast (15-20 minutes), so I really appreciated it. I got their egg rolls, crab rangoons, and roasted duck with panang curry. Their egg rolls were pretty flavorless and I didn't really enjoy them. Their crab rangoons were also okay—but I normally don't get rangoons, so I don't have a good basis for judgement (they were free for my order). But, I did enjoy their duck with panang curry. The duck was juicy, full of meat, and a good portion. And, the curry was rich and creamy with lots of veggies. Overall, the mains are probably better than the entrees.
I ordered beef, but i got chicken in my bowl. Chicken is dry and favorless.
First they went up on their prices (before inflation) they said it was because you get a bigger portion. Well guess what? You do get a bigger portion and it’s all NOODLES! They hardly give you any meat when you order the Drunken Noodle with beef. The flavor is everything but the price isn’t worth the portion AT ALL!

I ordered Tofu Thai Fried Rice. It has no taste at all.
Small portions, curry was watery.
When Gaw Gai disappeared and Heng Thai took its place its usually a downturn so i came in here expecting little. The staff is amazingly nice, they always smile and always welcoming. So the Massaman Curry with beef i ordered (large) was served in a dish as opposed to a container being that its a stew so its packaging decision was bad and messy and so was the quantity! thinking im ordering the "large" i would get a large container of rice included but nope! $15+ for a water-down stew with 5 small pieces of meat and a small container of rice seems way off. this was my last time eating here. Goodbye Gaw Gai! all good things must come to and end. - Quality - Quantity + Price
$19 for a basic EXTREMELY small portion entree. Size of spring rolls were not more than 2 inches, I am not being sarcastic, seriously. Never again.
I ordered the cashew chicken for lunch and it was not good. The baby corn they used tasted bad and it affected the entire dish although I tried to take it out. First time I didn’t finish the food in a Thai restaurant
Below average Thai spot $20 Pad kra pao (expensive for Queens) The pork wasn’t minced like advertised. The entree is mostly rice, no spice kick flavor at all, and came with a sweet hot sauce on the side (1st time seeing this for this dish). 2/5 wouldn’t come back

Pad Thai is not fresh. Restaurant is dirty
Very bad quality of service, food, everything
Really bad tasting food this is not thai whatsoever.
Overpriced
I ordered in from here and the pad see ew was actually inedible. Ingredients were smelly and tasted funky and otherwise the noodles had no flavor at all. Had few bites and had to toss the whole dish.
Would give it 0 stars if I could. The food isn't just gross but extremely overpriced. They don't make it from scratch it is premade and microwaved. Do not eat here
I ordered the fried rice to take out and it was tasteless. The rice barely had vegetables and the tofu was flavorless.
I really love Thai foods, but the food at this restaurant I had was the worst Thai food I've ever had. I couldn't feel any taste. It was just a mildly sweet taste. The service level is under average, but the prices are high compared to the quality of service and food. It's a place I'll never go to again and not recommend visiting.
I had the pad see ew; another user said the food was smelly. I too have never had pad see ew that smelled like cat food. This review was the only way to make myself feel good as I don’t live around here and can’t get my money back. Worst Thai EVER!
Absolutely miserable takeout dinner. Hope it's an one off issue but the pad kee mao I got had about half an egg's worth of shells mixed in. I picked out some of the larger pieces but the smaller pieces were impossible to remove so I ended up throwing it away.
Food is greasy, coffee is crazily sweet, and very rude service. I understand that Thai coffee can be a bit on the sweeter side and I know the server might not be native English speaker but this place made it to a different level.
