Lupo Rosso offers delicious pizza. We usually order from there and have not yet eaten in person but it is on our to do list. Location is a little isolated but so far their pizza has always been good whenever we ordered. When the weather gets a little warmer we will try it in person as well and update the review accordingly.
I order delivery from here when I have people over and it never disappoints! The pizza, wings and salad are all delicious- they have so much variety and different side dishes aside from the pizza. We got- broccoli rabe & spicy sausage, arugula and prosciutto, margerita and meat lovers (not pictured). Wings, dry and 1 buffalo. Goat cheese & ceaser salad. Food came hot, fresh and on time! I highly recommend this place! Plus, they sometimes do deals- 2 for 1 margerita pizzas!!
My favorite Neapolitan style pizza in NYC! The vodka pesto is just so flavorful and we loved the LIC Heat too. The arancini had a great taste and large portion size. Def recommend checking this spot out, especially if you love Neapolitan style pizza.
Yummmm!! Tiny pizza place. Only outside seating available for now. They have plenty of outside seating next to this pizza place. There are many good pizza place in New York City and Lupo Rosso is one of top tier pizza. First time seeing clam pizza in New York City. I’ve tried Clam, Prosciutto & Arugula, Margherita, Nonna Rosso, and Arancini. I liked their clam pizza more than the ones I had in Connecticut. The pizza dough is chewy and thin. Fresh basil and cheese taste amazing. My best Arancini so far. I have to mention that their pizza taste even better when it’s cold.
I had a delicious dinner at Lupo Rosso in LIC - y’all have to bookmark this spot! Everything was so good from the homemade cocktails (favorite was the LIC Boulevardier) to the salad and yes, of course the pizza! I recommend the Lupo Rosso salad - the fried artichokes give it the perfect crunch on top. For pizzas, you really can’t go wrong but I have to say my favorite was the clam pizza. Initially I was like clams on pizza?? And I left blown away - y’all should definitely try this delicious pizza combo!
Clam pizza is legit! Def better than the Yonkers Frank Pepe location, and probably better than CT (it's been a while). The lemon juice goes incredibly well with this pizza! Can't wait to go back and try their other pizzas, but I think I also have to get another clam pie.
Pizza was wonderfully crusty and flavorful! We had it delivered thru uber and followed instructions with reheating and it was perfect! We also had the Rigatoni and Rice balls and they were very tasty. Definitely will order back.

Takeout only. Really love the LIC heat, it's really spicy so that's a warning 👽 Can be made as vegetarian/vegan version

Some of the best pizza in L.I.C.! The service can sometimes be slow, but the vegan, gluten-free pizzas are exceptional and worth the wait. The 'Shroom Bloom is my fav, but the Margherita is delicious too!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lupo Rosso is hands down some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The pizza comes out insanely fast—about 10 minutes—and everything we tried was excellent. They also run a great BOGO (buy one, get one free) special, and most of the pies fall into that deal, which makes it an unbelievable value. Highly recommend the Nonna pie—it’s a meatball pie that literally tastes like eating a meatball hero in pizza form. The vodka pesto pie is also outstanding and packed with flavor. Quick, fast service, amazing pizza, and great specials. If you’re in Long Island City, this place is a must. 🍕🔥
I work in the neighborhood, huge pizza enthusiast, and i finally got to try this pizza! Super cool friendly place…feels like a community staple. The pizza is great!!..the crust is chefs kiss quality. I had the honey pepper, and the shroom, both delicious. it’s pizza napoletana, and they certainly leave their own special signature in their product. Love it ♥️
Amazing pizza and even better service! We ordered two pizzas tonight, buy one get one free, and who appeared to be the owner personally delivered the pizza when ready to us at the bar around the corner. Everything was AMAZING and we will definitely be back!
ordered through grubhub it was still warm by the time i got it which is crazy in 8 degree temps. the sauce, cheese, dough all perfection on our margarita. loved the lasagna pizza too!!
I got a gluten free four cheese pizza and a regular honey pepper pizza for a large group and its one of the best pizzas I've ever had. It's so hard for find gluten free options so I had to take the time to write a review. We've decided this will be our hangout spot because of the great service with attention to detail and food. The blood orange soda was to die for, I ordered it four times lol. Highly recommend stopping by this spot, especially if you exclusively eat gluten free! Thank you for making this a memorable spot for me and my friends. We'll be back next week💜💜💜
If you want legit, wood-fired Neapolitan pizza in Long Island City without the fuss, Lupo Rosso is one of those low-key gems that simply focuses on doing the food right. This is a takeout and delivery-first.

Amazing food! Love the hot honey pizza, I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. The workers were incredibly nice, especially Toni who is so sweet! Will definitely come back 🥰
This pizza tastes great. Crust is soggy and limp in the center sadly, at least by the time I get home, but I will keep ordering it because it tastes so good and the outer crust is perfectly crispy, slightly burnt like I like it. Service is fast and efficient. Pick up only.
I come here almost every Sunday, I love this place. One of the very few places where I can get the European Style pizza I am used to from home. And they always hit the mark, you can taste the quality of the dough and ingredients. Just glad I have it in my neighborhood
The pizza was decent but very burnt at the bottom such that our fingers were black just from holding it. The sauce wasn’t that spicy, it’s just the jalapeños that add the kick. I wouldn’t necessarily go back for it.
12/23/24 it is no longer a cozy eatery as it is only take away and delivery. Thought we would sit for lunch today and found out that isn’t an option. Also they have no restroom. Ordered the carnivore pizza with only sausage and skipped the pepperoni. Very little basil lots of sausage but small crumbled bits that ran down and off the pizza as we ate it. It tasted good and crust was good too. Only six little chairs inside in front of window and heaters I guess to make waiting acceptable. It was good pizza and maybe 4.25 but not a 5. I’ll try again next time in the neighborhood.
Though the pizza is good, its pricey for such a small portion.....n as soon as you fold it to take a bite, it falls apart.

This is some of the best Neapolitan style pizza in the area and the Margherita pizza was excellent. We were disappointed by the focaccia, though, which turned out to be a nearly plain pizza and nothing like a focaccia at all. I’d still recommend the place, but stick with pizza.
Was a bit disappointed with the clam pizza, a bit too wet and soggy, lacking umami flavor. The dough was nice, but I wish I ordered a different pizza.

Got the clam pizza. Good size pizza but not well constructed. Too much cheese on the pizza which made it soupy. Pizza was also lacking flavor, but saved by generous sprinkling of clam. Even the red pepper flakes lacked flavor. Pizza was also slightly underbaked. Would be 4 stars if cooked all the way through.
Ordered a pizza and 6-piece buffalo wings. The pizza was ok, tasted a bit dry for my liking and did not have enough sauce. The wings came with both ranch and blue cheese which I appreciated, however the wings tasted off and undercooked. You kind of just know when something isn't right with the food. Just a few hours later my friends are vomiting after also complaining about the wings. I threw out the remaining pieces. On the upside, service was prompt, no issues there however I won't be coming back here. Update 2/23/25: I want to share this experience as a warning to others. After eating here, our group became severely ill. When I left an honest review, the pizzeria responded by claiming there were no records of my visit—despite the fact that I ordered there last weekend. It’s hard to understand why they would make such a false claim, but it seems like an attempt to avoid accountability. Here's a picture of the order that made us sick. Hands down, the worst pizza and wings I've ever had.

I chose to visit this restaurant after finding them listed on a gluten-free app that indicated they offer gluten-free pizza options. As a parent of a child with celiac disease, finding safe places to eat is already challenging and requires a lot of research and trust. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. When I asked about the risk of cross-contamination, I was told that everything is made in the same oven. That immediately raised concerns for us, as shared ovens can pose a serious risk for someone with celiac disease. What made the situation more frustrating was the dismissive attitude we received when asking these questions. If a restaurant advertises gluten-free options, especially in apps specifically used by people with medical dietary restrictions, there should be clarity and care around preparation and cross-contamination. I would recommend more transparency about their process and better customer service when addressing legitimate health concerns.
