I love Griddle. I get the bacon egg and cheese with pepper jack cheese most mornings, the staff is friendly and fast. I love their iced coffee, they make it just the way you want it. My favorite item is their gravy for the mash and veggies, its really good. I am sad that my job site is moving and I won't have access to this awesome deli.

If you work in the industrial area of LIC this is a staple. They have hot food, sandwiches, breakfast and wide selection of drinks. I usually order and pick up but they have indoor and outdoor seating.

A reasonably priced diner in this part of town is a rarity. My bacon cheeseburger deluxe came WITHOUT tomatoes. SMH Lucky the burger tasted great. Everything tasted good.... Except the mac&cheese experience it at your own risk

A while back I had an issue and posted about it. Management responded immediately. That was excellent customer service. Only thing better is the food. I've tried several different items and really enjoyed them all.

From the second you walk into this place, it smells great. The food looks amazing and the displays are very clean. More importantly...THE FOOD IS GREAT!! Great place very clean, you can see all the cooking done in front of you. great selection of hot food ,that changes everyday and unbelievable prices. and the portions are just right. The only bad thing is there open only 5 days a week.

Tasty breakfast and friendly staff! Breakfast is usually busy so I order for pick up so I’m in and out but always a pleasure seeing these guys in the morning.

Recently my job moved near by, been everyone in the office go-to place to eat! They can make anything for you at your request. The best time to go is at 1 PM to leave all that rush of lunch behind.

This was a lovely place with a great atmosphere and even better food. I will definitely be coming again.

Food was excellent! I ordered the breakfast burrito, grits with cheese and my daughter got a veggie omelette with hash browns. It hit the spot. We dined in, plenty of seating, good music and were comfortable. There were a lot of customers in and out. The staff was friendly and seemed to have a good rapport with everyone. I recommend them and will come again if in the area.

The dining area is no frills, but these guys always have great specials that change all the time so you never get bored. The salads are fresh, burgers are good, and they bake their muffins fresh every day. If you work in the neighborhood, this is the place to go for breakfast or lunch. You won’t find a better value.

I was in the area so I decided to try this place out this morning. I called ahead for a pick-up order. Once inside it seamed a little confusing because there was a line for people to order, but no “pick-up order” sign so I just stood by the register until I was acknowledged. I ordered the American Breakfast which consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries & toast. The portion was generous, the price was economical and the food tasted great. Also, place looks clean. Will definitely swing by again.

***UPDATE*** I have changed my 2 stars to 5 after speaking with the manager on the phone (and he also responded to my previous review). He apologized for the way the situation was handled and assured me that this was not the way they aspire to handle their business. I appreciate the time he took to speak to me and to respond to my previous review and as a result, I will be ordering from them again. This is absolutely the kind of customer service I highly value. ***** I've been a frequent customer, ordering at least 2 - 3 days a week for months now. The food is actually pretty tasty and I was especially fond of their lemonade (couldn't get enough of it). But today, while the order I placed was written correctly, one of the sandwiches that was delivered was incorrect and the lemonade was weak and pretty terrible. This wouldn't usually prompt me to write a 2 star review, but the person who answered the phone when I called to address the issues was just plain rude. When I told him about the incorrect sandwich, he sounded annoyed that I was bothering him with such a trivial matter and basically blew it off and blamed it on his boss who took the order (he was not going to replace it with the item I actually ordered). When I asked him what he was going to do about the lemonade, he said that if he delivered a new one it would be the same, so he wasn't going to replace that either (he said that a new one would taste the same). When I then asked for a refund, he told me that if I wanted a refund but he was going to have to come and pick up the old one (no skin off my nose, the lemonade sucked but he was pretty obnoxious about it). I will not be purchasing from this store again (unfortunate because the food is usually good) all because of the way I was treated. Customer service matters.,, at least it matters to me.

I used to work across the street as a security guard. I would come to get breakfast from them every morning as soon as they open. The food was always great and it still is. I admit two years ago I gave them a slightly bad review because of the cooks attitude. However they all have improved so much that I had to do a new review and erase the old one giving them five stars. If you are looking for a warm breakfast this is the place to stop if you're in the neighborhood. Today I got my usual blueberry muffin but I also purchased the baked fish with the mashed. Once again year after year their food is delicious so have a great day and if you stop by tell them security officer Jones sent you.

Didn't have grits at the time I went, got oatmeal took 6 sugar packets to get it tasting good. The BLT was okay.

You get what you pay for, the place was made for people who work with their hands meaning it ain't fancy and it doesn't have to be. Food was mediocre but large portions, service is quick makes sense since this considered a great lunch spot.

Good, local (to LIC) diner type greasy spoon. Short order cooks are good and fast. Food is what you would expect. It's cooked. But doesn't blow you away. A favorite of the Blue and the blue-collar. Friendly staff, one of the guys at the cashier had the presence of mind to remember the way I take my coffee. Magical things can happen when you look somebody in the eyes.

Excellent for breakfast and lunch. Service is fast and the price is reasonable. Can get crowded with all the contractors, laborers, students and local business patrons. Get in line, order at service counter in your way down to the register to pay.

This is a nice quick place to get some food especially if you are working nearby. It can be a little cramped inside, but the food is good and they give you a lot for the price. There aren't that many other places around here, but it's still good regardless.

Great lunch spot. They always have different daily specials at reasonable prices. There's something there for everyone! They are also very clean, which is great attention to detail because they always have a lot of foot traffic!

Food was alright. What was not acceptable was the guy making my sandwich being so lazy he didn’t even heat anything up. Chicken, cheese, bacon NOTHING was heated meanwhile I got a hot hero. Only noticed after I left, been here a bunch but I’ll find someplace else now. Just check your food before leaving.

I ordered pick up & when I got back to my office, I noticed that one of my sides was missing. I didn’t receive my chips.

This place is cool but there is always a long line and the guys that take the orders seem to always forget what you ordered. The guy that actually makes everything always forgets the orders and you find yourself waiting there for a very long time. Sometimes you have to stay there and watch him until you see your order is being made. They should implement some type system that the chef can see what needs to be made instead of just screaming out orders and sandwiches flying back and forth.

Check your receipts if u use debit they still charge u the credit card percentage knowing they are not supposed too that lil charge is only for credit card how many other people that don't speak up or are not aware get charged on a daily bases that's why your guy didn't even wanna talk to me but hey your here cuz I held you accountable for your actions that u continue to do to people that are not aware I've Seen other people pay with debit and get charged that fee hey they don't know right that don't make it ok and the fact that your employees lie saying that the machines does it automatically is bullshit city report is next step how much has been made just on those lil charges smh

The food is at times great but it is not consistent overtime in terms of quality or content and there are times where the sandwiches could be watery, bland or flat out tasteless (and with a price not necessarily inexpensive). The service is also mostly nice but I noticed there are some servers with questionable behaviors that act like untamed juveniles who could use some coaching by the establishment's management. Overall, it is a nice eatery but I wish I could give them more than 3 stars but not the way they operate at this time.

I’ve been ordering from them for the last year and today I was told prices have changed and the menu I had was old. So I spent $24 for an initial meal that was $17-$18. And all they had in response to my issue was that the menu was old. I love their food and their service but my money is hard earned.

Rice and beans with chicken is a bit bland. Could use some more spices. The sandwich is alright. The service is not very good. The guy dishing out food didn’t listen to what we wanted and just started dishing into the bowl. The whole time we were trying to get his attention and only got it when he was done with the food. Bland - Never thought I woukd see the day when cajun turkey could be made totally tasteless! But here they do. No flavor no spice no taste. My lemon flavored seltzer water had more taste. If all the orther sandwiches are like this best bring your own condiments. Service was okay but it could not save the sandwich.

We ordered this morning for 3 order and waited an hour and half for the food. They only brought 2 orders. My order which is the image provided was received like you see. The actual aluminum container was smashed. We understand that there is a morning rush, but after calling multiple times and say it will arrive in 2-3 minutes and 20 minutes later it's still not here and MISSING AN COMPLETE ORDER. It's not fair and they order we didn't receive was the first one we asked for. I have order from you guys before and it's usually fast delivery and the food is good.

The customer service in the kitchen area sucks. I ask one of the guy in the kitchen area about the kind of meat that’s back there with other meat if it was PORK or BEEF because I don’t eat PORK and his answer to me is DON’T YOU SEE BROS. That’s wrong because if I knew what kind of meat . I want be asking you. So I didn’t say nothing back to him. I just walk out the restaurant. I’m spending my money there not begging you for the food. extremely disappointing- I ordered a wrap with eggs, cheese, beans, spinach and chipotle mayo. I got a VERY soupy, nearly inedible wrap with no cheese or chipotle mayo. It was overloaded with soupy beans, the spinach was frozen (was informed of that, but it was beyond mushy) - I ended up throwing it out and having to skip lunch. gave 2 stars because the staff seems nice. but whoever makes the food should be given a different position there because basic food is not their strong suit.

I stop by the other day to buy a coffee, and the people on the counter are very rude and disrespectful! I know a little bit of greek, and they call moorish to basicaly every black person who walks in into the shop

We did 2 orders Black beans with mixed vegetables and chicken for lunch. They just put the black beans with which some corns and chick peas, so disappointed ☹️. I never ever had these kind of mixed vegetables in any of the restaurants in NYC before. Wasted money.

Horrible customer service and was overcharged without prices being explained correctly. Also, there’s a surcharge for using your credit card which also wasn’t explained before being charged. Food was not worth being overcharged at all. Will not visit again!

I asked for eggs over easy bacon and cheese on a roll with pepper and ketchup. I got snotty raw eggs, soggy bacon, and no ketchup and pepper. Then I brought it back and the guy said you asked for it overeasy. I said yea overeasy not raw. Never again. I was warned about the place too.

Ordered Uber eats from this place just now and both chicken burger and cheese burgers were bad 👎 the piece of chicken was very small and super dry. The cheese burger was so bland the only thing I tasted was the ketchup. Waste of money. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Bad experience.
