Amazing food, dont be turned off that its in a gas station

It was wonderful... We went right at lunch time and they were very busy but we were served our food quickly and it was delicious! I'll definitely go back.

We love coming here to pickup a breakfast of Sammies or breakfast tacos. Tried their Pecan Coffee and really enjoyed it, it is a strong coffee. Lots of food choices as well as so many other items to pickup!

This is a great place for lunch. The food is awesome and taste great. A diamond in the rough for sure! My only sugestion is to get here early or after 1 pm because it gets packed in a hurry during lunch time.

It was weerd pulling up to the gas station BUT it did not disappoint. The food was good like a regular restaurant.

Chicken sandwich with fries is my go to here. They even give you a mini muffin for a sweet treat. Come early because seating is limited right now due to Covid 19.

Excellent service and the food was to die for! The burger and the banana pudding make a great pairing! It was a little busy but that just speaks to the quality of the food.

Wonderful local place. The food is great and you can tell that if you come by during lunch time its packed. If your schedule is flexible an early or late lunch is less crowded. They also have fantastic take and bake or other to go items including sandwiches, salads and more.

We have gotten several of the items for take out (casseroles etc). We love getting food items from here, always delicious!

I love walking down here and grabbing something to drink. When I'm getting ready to travel I like to stop by this Cafe and grap coffee ($2.50 for a large cold brew is an amazing price). Slushes and drinks in general are always good and cheap and the grab and go food they have is good as well. Very nice people working here as well.

Good burger and fries. I'm tired of the chain burgers, so I thought I'd give it a try and was pleased with my purchase. The service was good and fast. They have quite an extensive menu. You may have a hard time deciding what you want. Check it out online 1st so you can get an idea. Highly recommend

My wife and I absolutely love to eat here! On Fridays they have the best fish tacos. It is beautifully decorated, staff is amazing, and its great for a quick lunch during work hours.

We love the breakfast tacos they are a great price and offer a large amount of egg in them. You could probably make two tacos out of one. I love that they are always fresh and they have a friendly staff. We also enjoy the chicken salad and the pimento cheese. I usually go in and buy chicken salad once a week because that's all my daughter wants to eat for lunch lol

The tables were all sticky. Probably a result of the type of cleaner that is being used on them. I also didn't like that the cleaner was so strong I couldn't enjoy my sandwich. Take care of both of those things and everything else was great.

Egg salad, egg salad! Best egg salad I've ever had honestly, banana pudding and chicken salad is also very excellent. Unfortunately a bit pricey but doesnt stop me from coming here. A bit of selection of wines and beers at the diner area. Plus get some gas while your at it!

The wraps are amazing. I love being able to stop by on my lunch break and grab something so tasty to go. Haven't checked out the casseroles or home cooked food yet, but everyone says they're ridiculous good.

Nanny Goat's is one of my favorite places to eat in Longview. Everything I have ordered has always been top-notch and made with fresh ingredients. Although it is sometimes crowded, it is always worth the wait. There is great customer service to match your savory meal, and the mini muffin is a perfect touch of sweet to finish off your lunch break.

Loved this place while living here and now when I visit! They have a cute sit-in cafe, and when that is closed the to-go food is amazing. It includes mexican tuna salad to die for and even take and heat full entrees.

Have always had a great experience here! Love the pre-made To-Go salads and sandwiches for quick meals, really nice variety of hot sandwiches, take and heat meals, good coffee and cold drink selection.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! I moved here from another state and have been trying out knew spots, so I had an order delivered and called in to ask a couple of questions. I spoke with Heather and let me just say that she went ABOVE AND BEYOND to provide EXCEPTIONAL service. I'm totally hooked on their pickles... the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. And today I tried their roast beef with extra horsey sauce... DELICIOUS!!! Looking forward to dining in so I can dine and shop for more of their pantry items.

This is definitely one of the fanciest gas stations I have ever been in. Nanny goat's is a great place to sit down and enjoy a sandwich or salad. They also have a wide variety of take and bake meals and sides.

Ordered through Waitr this morning and the food was absolutely amazing. They went out of their way to make us gluten free muffins which we truly appreciated. We also ordered a jar of their pickles and they are delicious!!! Can’t wait to try their dine in experience.

Love this place! It's a perfect stop off if I-20 between Dallas and Shreveport. Don't be deceived by the fact they share a space with a 7-11. I'd go for the orange muffins alone. They are SO yummy. We've only visited for breakfast and the food had always been super. (They have a very wide variety of deli options as well.) The breakfast sandwiches are huge, and full of fresh flavor. I had avocado on mine, and it was perfectly ripe. And I liked how the toast wasn't drowning in butter. They have a nice seating section, and I'm sure would be great for families. The service was very professional and we were greeted as soon as we arrived. They also (genuinely) thanked us for visiting when we left. Very hospitable!

Enjoyable. Larger than we expected for a gas station eatery. Really enjoyed the sweet/hot pickles. We asked to purchase some, but was told they were out of the pre packaged. The cashier offered to go in the back and fill a mason jar. Over and above service.

This is my go to breakfast stop when I'm in a hurry. I call ahead and my order is ready within 10 minutes. My go-to is the sausage breakfast burrito. It's packed full with sausage egg, cheese , and black beans. I order mine with no onions or peppers. The salsa that comes with it is fantastic also. They have Great cinnamon rolls too! Haven't really had the lunch menu but Longview PD is always there, and it's generally pretty crowded so if that tells you anything it's a good sign! Staff is always friendly and helpful! Never had a bad experience.

This cute café is inside a convenience store and is very unassuming. The staff were helpful and fast with our food. Gluten free options were very appreciated. By noon, the line was to the door. This looks to be popular with the locals. Definitely worth a try!

First time here. I missed breakfast but that didn't disappoint! I got their Southwest Chicken salad with chipotle ranch and it was so delicious. It was a heaping portion that left me filled. It was well worth the price.

I didn't dine in but picked up a salad and some sweets. I like the variety of to-go meals and the parfait. The salads are full with lots of chicken which I appreciate because I could eat half the salad and save the rest for later if I wanted to! The deli is very different in style and choice which draws my eye. The atmosphere was a little different to me but not in a bad way. Pleasant service and would most likely visit again.

Lunch - sandwich was ok but the dessert a lemon bar was excellent. Looks like they have a really good select of wine.

Store clean and smelling clean, the food is always fresh, staff is aways nice. Only take away is the food is a little pricey, and my Starbucks Moca frapes are the highest in town.

Nice people, big selection of stuff. I stopped because of the huge sign that said goats. There were no goats and it made me sad. I was pretty hung over, clearly did not understand. Get some goats to play with in an indoor petting zoo with a drive thru. That's a million dollar idea that I'm giving you for free. You're welcome.

Admittedly, its where the 40-60 year old lunch crowd goes to gossip and speak business. But I enjoy having a quiet lunch by myself at Nanny Goats as a treat. Lots of choices for different dietary needs (including keto) and they're all pretty darn good for the price point of $2-3 more than a lot of adult sized fast food meals. Highly recommend.

While most everything I've ever gotten here is delicious and a great value, I did grab a "Shepherd's Pie" here last night and am very disappointed. This is NOT shepherd's pie, take off the cheese and render down your Mirepoix! Your onions, carrots and celery should be cooked, not raw 😉

This was an unexpected food stop. I originally went in to use the restroom, but was pleasantly surprised by an adorable cafe. The food was made-to-order and very fresh! If you're looking for some old fashioned candy, you just might find it here as well!

Chicken Salad a little salty tasting. I do like some sweet relish for that. The tuna is good. Something is missing from the broccoli salad. Cranberries? Ham and Swiss cheese on wheat was very good.

Very good.... great food and atmosphere and the cashiers at the front are always very pleasant and nice. The ones at the food counter could probably take a few pointers from them, however. All in all though, it is a great place to use the restroom, to pick up dinner on your way home, to dine in, to get miscellaneous, but yet, pricey, gas station items and to get gas.

Came in to pick up an order, the young lady in the front couldn't locate my order, after a small altercation she found it..( was right in front of her) With the name I gave her, for some reason she couldn't see it, but never mind that, she slams my order on the counter and gives me a look.....me speechless ask her please not to bite me...she seems so rude, I hope her day gotten better, love the food there and always had excellent service..

Customer service is always great. I normally call in order to prevent having to go in and wait. Their chipotle wrap is my go to but here lately instead of the chicken breast being sliced thinly there are literally big chunks of meat which makes it super dry and hard to chew. Almost flawless with everything else that comes on it. That would be my only complaint. Banana pudding and their pickles that they serve are the best thing ever also.

Overrated. Chicken salad sandwich was just blah. Too much chicken. Sometimes less is more. Brought Chicken Spaghetti casserole home, was very dry, hardly any flavor. I could see that it needed sauce. Anyway. For the price it wasn't that good.

What happened to the size of the salads out front? They've gone from filling to not so filling, especially for the price.

Food is amazing. Menus need to be updated. One menu online says that their breakfast specials are all day and the other says that they stop at 10a.m. and 10:30. The girls at the front aren't very friendly either.

Ok so I get the chicken and waffles biscuits from here. The other day they used a real chicken patty instead of the processed chicken patties they normally use. It was so good! Way better than the processed patties they normally use. Today I was disappointed to see it was just a one time thing and went back to the old patties. PLEASE BRING BACK THE REAL CHICKEN PATTIES!!!! 😭😭😭

Used to be my go-to for salads. They’re delicious. The problem - the price continues to increase, while the salad amount decreases. The to go boxes used to be filled to the top. It’s decreased steadily, while the piece as gone up.

Food is delicious, specially the burritos in the morning. Service is great, staff is super feiendly on both counters. Only complaint is the gas pumps outside. Aside from being run down, none seem to work (Deisel side). Turns down my credit card all the time. it's kind of a nuisance to pick up food at this place and have to go down the road for gas at a different place.

I was raised in Kilgore, but left there in 1971. I have been back many times.This time I had to be back in kilgore for my brother-in-law's funeral. I saw this "new" cafe on Robert Irvine's show. My wife, daughter and son-in-law were with me when we went there. We walked in and stood there until we finally figured out on our own that we were to seat ourselves. It was a Saturday afternoon and it was fairly crowded. We also had friends join us. We finally got 4 menus for 6 people. We,after a while got someone to take our order. My daughter's fried chicken was raw in the middle. No apology or anything, they just took it back and took it off te ticket. The rest of the food was just as bad. The service was worse. That was twice I have been there, First and Last. I will starve before I go back. NOTE: to Robert Irvine. Do not do a follow up visit. You will cry. The went back to the same old prefrozen food and poooor service.

Took 45 minutes to get our order. When we finally were able to open it, the chips were soggy from the pickles that had been thrown in the bottom of the package. My daughter had frito pie and not once did they ask about onion nd much to her surprise, it was mixed with the cheese. Thank God she isn't allergies to onions.

Ever since I tried the Mexican tuna I have raved about Nanny Goat's but today I received the worst service and the quality of the food honestly made me cry. Wish I could post the photo's. I got the steak quesadilla special. After waiting 30mins they decide to tell me they were out of queso. Ok fine no problem I'll take the guacamole. After another 10mins I finally get my food and the guacamole is spread along the bottom of the container. With chips, pickles and mini muffin all dipped into the guacamole. SMH. I should of just got my money back.

I have eaten at this establishment 10+ times and let’s say out of 10 sandwiches, 3 of them were actually good/worth the price you pay. Their specials are the best things on the menu (taco salad, meatloaf) but after the $12 chicken wrap I had to literally choke down yesterday, I’m done with this place. The owners are making enough money off of the doctor/lawyer crowds that eat there just to be seen, that they won’t notice my $$. I won’t miss the crowd of girls working the front registers either; their personalities are as dry as their chicken..

The food looks good from a distance, but a lot of the time is runny bc it gets frozen then melts and water gets all in the chick salad, pimento cheese etc. It’s a nice place and no shade to the girls at the front, but they aren’t very quick. If you don’t get up in their face or call out for then, you are not getting helped. Unless it’s extremely busy and you’re the next in line, you will be forgot. Nice spot though, always super packed for lunch.

Store was clean. Service was friendly and quick. Went in to get some take and bake casseroles. Took them home, baked them up and served. It was very mediocre, below basic cooking standards. The flavor was very boring, cheese on top was dried out and hard like low fat cheese. We were able to peel The cheese off in one large sheet and reseason it and top with fresh cheese. Ordinarily this wouldn’t warrant a review. However, I bought 2: king ranch chicken and beef stroganoff. Each take and bake was $29. It was smaller than a 9x13. It was a big disappointment after trying it.

Ask the manager girl why they’re always out of potato egg and cheese breakfast tacos. She said look at all these that we have left over we can’t make more. I said just make less chorizo (always loaded to the gills) and make more potato egg and cheese because you’re out every single time. They have no clue what they’re doing here somebody needs to step in. UPDATE! 2-11-26. Still no potato egg tacos at 8:30 in the morning and the parking lot is nasty.

Just finished lunch at this location, and was very disappointed. I ate here once before and really enjoyed it. That was a few years ago however. I ordered a Southwest Salad. What I got was a head of lettuce, 1/4 of a chicken practically uncut, and some beans and corn tossed in. One ice machine was empty and unsweetened tea was empty. I advised staff, it was not busy, and walked over to another machine they had. The salad was pretty much tasteless and I left most of it. I generally love salads, but not this one. Toward the end of my visit I went to refill my tea. The ice machine was still empty, and unsweetened tea was empty on both sides. I also passed on buying gas at the location because it was expensive. My wife and daughter seemed to enjoy their food, so that was good. I just found food and service lacking. I tipped on the machine high, because I thought I would be enjoying a great meal. That was not the case.

I brought my grandson here for him to buy some special snacks. The place was dimly lit. Most of the food chillers keeping prepackaged food cold was leaking water all over the floor. The women's bathroom floor was totally wet, and something was leaking in there. I couldn't tell what it was. I will not come here again.

I brought my daughter, who has celiac, and was very thorough with my order. I told the manager that took our order that she has celiac and that we needed to take precautions. We ordered her the burger with the gluten free bread. I requested that they make sure to change gloves, clean surfaces, prepare the order on the waxed liners instead of surfaces, etc... I told her that she couldn't have the fries because the oil would be contaminated and asked for bagged chips instead. The manager assuted me that they would take all precautions. Then the food arrived and hers was full of fries, touching the burger. We had to request that it be remade. She doesn't get to go out to eat much, so it is very disappointing when her health is not taken seriously when we try to be very specific and explain to the employees that it is a serious request. The staff were agreeable, but did not seem to take it seriously enough. Also, the burger patties are not fresh. They use pre-made pre-cooked patties that they just throw on the griddle and heat up that are abysmal. I couldn't even finish mine. It tastes EXACTLY like school cafeteria burgers. It is shameful that they charge 12 and 14 dollars for burgers that are disgusting.

I went there to buy a salad, so I ask the lady in the kitchen if I could get a half of a salad, she said yes, but they were laughing and looking at me and looking at the person making my salad and laughing, I felt so uncomfortable with the salad that I threw it away, it was very unprofessional

Just got chicken salad sandwich it went out the window the bread was all dried out you could not eat it. Waste of a lot of money. I can’t afford to go there and trie my money to the birds. Just because they won’t make one fresh because it’s breakfast time. But no customers.

2 things 1. The food is over priced and underseasoned. 2. I could see that a young man was indeed causing a disturbance, but the way the young girls treated him was rancid. From what I could hear him telling the police, he was in the middle of a mental health crisis. He was patronizing the 7-11, but the restaurant employees were the one to call the police. They came outside to where he was to talk to dispatch right in front of him. They were "afraid" but clearly standing there provoking the poor young man. They seemed amused by what they were doing, quite disgusting behavior. They were endangering others by standing in the doorway causing a confrontation where everyone else had to walk past.

Very disappointed. I used to LOVE this place and went all the time. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Ordered a spinach salad with cup of jalapeños on side...Got it curbside. When I got to where I was going to eat it, I couldn’t find my cup of jalapeños. Figured they were left out. I opened my salad and took a bite. it had chopped jalapeños all under the feta and nuts and bacon…COVERING my salad. (Last week ordered 2 and neither had cranberries or feta). Called to see if I could bring this one back so that it was not COVERED in peppers...They said I would have to BUY another!! They said it was a miscommunication and I should have said a cup…which I DID! Jocelyn and I discussed the jalapeños before I completed my order because I asked if they had changed from sliced, like it used to always be, to chopped. Before she completed my order on phone she asked if I still wanted them since they were chopped.. I said that I would like a cup on the side. (This is the only thing I order here and order it the same way every time...usually with a cup of jalapeños and an extra cup of pickles....very disappointed that they do not seem to care about customer service anymore. Usually if there is an error, and especially if it has already been discussed PRIOR to placing order, a restaurant makes it right. I didn’t eat it because it is SO HOT and I didn’t order it this way. It wasn’t like I could take the slices off…they are finely chopped and covering the entire salad. Asked for manager...who then said...”I spoke with my supervisor and she said you would have to pay for another salad!” REALLY?!?!?! I thought you were the manager!!! Customer service does not seems to be a priority any more... Two weeks in a row. I always received great service when the blonde lady managed it! It never used to be like this! It used to have great service. Very disappointed! And their Mexican tuna rocked! Don’t know if it still does…after this…I am not going to even chance it! :(
