The pizza is absolutely divine! I’m an extremely picky person when it comes to Italian food as my mother is is of Italian heritage. So growing up, it was all hand made from scratch and exquisite. The pizza there at Pizza King tastes great and better than any of the chains. A bit of a wait and our waitress was a bit of a ditz, but the food definitely made up for it!

Pizza King has been a staple in our family for years. My parents dated here, my wife and I dated here and now my kids love it and are getting dating age. Food is really good. Since the family sold the business the food has changed some.

Can never go wrong with this place here! Great food don't neglect yourself any longer if you haven't already tried it. Try the BUD pizza which is pepperoni and sausage or my favorite which is the meat lovers with added black olives, green olives, and mushrooms. Whatever you do don't forget the house dressing to dip your pizza in!!! If you're not in the mood for pizza then grab you a submarine sandwich cause they are the bomb diggity too!!!!

OK, first time trying Pizza King. My Longview friend told me about this place at least 20 years ago and, being from the NE, I had definite NY pizza leanings. I doubted her. I'm happy to say I was wrong. I had a hot fresh pie delivered for lunch as well as a take-n-bake to be cooked in my oven for dinner. Both are pretty incredible, fresh, and tasty. The topping are delightfully generous and the cost doesn't reflect the high quality and portions. I'm so pleased to have tried this gem.

Food was amazing, I had a 10" everything, my son had the meat lovers and he said it was pretty good he liked it. Service was okay she seemed preoccupied with cleaning.

This was my first time at Pizza King. I am pretty impressed the servers were very friendly and attentive . I ordered a 10 inch Jalapeno & Pepperoni pizza and it was cooked just right . Their crust is a combination of regular crust and thin crust giving you that perfect crunch . The sauce was robust with flavor without being too acidic . I will definitely be back, and would recommend if you are looking for a good locally owned pizza joint.

Quaint, cozy, great service. Just beware, these pizzas come LOADED. Not your average pizza joint. Reminds me of the ones when I was a kid and pizza was pizza. 1960 diner atmosphere makes it. Awesome date night or hang-out place. Also very much a plus having great cauliflower crust!

My family has eaten here for generations. My great grandparents has their first date at pizza king. Growing up I didn’t care that much for it, but my boyfriend and I decided to change things up and eat here last night. It was so good! The service wasn’t the best, but it was satisfactory, in my opinion. Everyone kind of worked as a team to take care of tables. And the pizza was great! I love the crumbly hamburger topping!

Has always been a favorite of mine. Some of the best handmade pizzas around. Service is always fast, friendly, and accurate. Icy cold mugs of beer go down great with their piping hot, delicious food!! Atmosphere is cozy, with a vintage touch. Clean restaurant and restrooms. A must visit in Longview!

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten! Doesn’t compare at all to Rotelos. You have to try it out. Crust was great nice and crispy!!! This one was a medium size which has 8 slices. Server was very attentive no complaints whatsoever. Will definitely try it out again when Im in the area.

A Longview institution, serving excellent pizza for decades, always excellent. Pizzas are great, but so are the submarine sandwiches. If you get a salad, you can't go wrong with the house dressing, made fresh onsite.

Pizza King in Longview, Texas. Longview is growing on the northern side of town but this little gem is on highway 80 a little east of the hospital. They have been there for several yeas and I finally made it to them. The food is good, they put a lot of meat on their meat lover’s pizza. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was great. They have a lot of car memorabilia around.

Had small pizzas and pitcher of beer for lunch. Excellent in all aspects. Nice decor, music of the day. We managed to tally a 35 dollar tab. Very reasonable for 2 people. A definate return place. I saw nearly half the folks with take home boxes, so a good sign the portions are healthy enough for the low prices.

The pizza and atmosphere was great. The waitresses were friendly. We had a party of 5 and waited a few mins. I'm glad we stopped in. The water in Longview also tastes great.

My mother and I eat here quite a bit. Sometimes for lunch, mostly for dinner. She absolutely LOVES their house salad. Most of the time mine is well made however one time , I did receive a pretty crummy salad. We both love that we are able to get individual pizzas, each the exact way we like it. To top it off, the crust is perfect, not too thin not too thick. All hail the Pizza King!!! Husband and l just ate there. We shared a chef salad and ordered our individual pizzas. We could not finish either our salad or are pizzas. It was excellent!!! The house dressing is awesome as well. The pictures shared below are after we ate. Sorry, to busy ready to eat!

I've been eating at Pizza King for over 50 years, and it's still my favorite pizza! The salads are a traditional iceberg lettuce with carrots and croutons, but they are cold and crisp. Get the house dressing. It's delicious on the salad or as a dipper for the pizza which comes with a thin crispy crust and piled high with toppings. Our waitress on our most recent visit was attentive and hustling. She had many tables to serve but we never felt neglected. Service time is always medium at best, but so worth the wait for the great pizza!

Pizza King is a Longview staple. I have literally been going there for almost 40 years. I was excited to show my husband a Longview tradition. Over the years we have tweaked our order and I think we finally have perfection. Double pepperoni well done with Pizza King sauce, house salad dressing. However my parents would argue that perfection is the Bud, hamburger, sausage, Canadian bacon. You really can't go wrong with Pizza King. Their sub sandwiches and salads are also next level. And who doesn't love beer on tap when they're eating pizza? If you're in Longview you have to stop into Pizza King. Do yourself a favor and call ahead your order if it's after 5:30 on Friday or Saturday. You'll thank me later. 🍕 👑 #GoogleGal

Delicious pizza. Our first time eating there. We got the “King’s Delight” with added spinach. I got Anchovies on only half of the pizza being my wife doesn’t like them. This was my first time trying anchovies on my pizza and I’m glad I did. The only issue was I wish the spinach wasn’t sautéed but baked on the pizza fresh leaves. But still in all we’ll definitely be back…

Best pizza in North Texas hands down! I never knew as a kid eating at Pizza King just how lucky I was until I moved away and tried to find good pizza! Now, every time I come back for a visit to Longview my trip isn’t complete unless I have Pizza King. The pizza is consistent always and so are the crowds. To cut down on wait time I recommend calling ahead for them to start the pizza if you are eating in. The take n bake pizzas are awesome, but of course eating in while it’s hot and fresh are my preferred option. If you haven’t eaten here then you are totally missing out!

If your vegetarian, there are options. If your vegan, you know what to do. If your a foodie, just eat the 12 varieties of pizza they have to offer. Everything is so good. Every time I visit friends/family in my home town we have to stop by Pizza King!! It was my favorite restaurant when they were growing up, my dad even worked there as a teen! It tastes the same as it did when I was kid and I hope it always will! Definitely a town favorite! Even today I saw someone excited to run into a friend while at dinner! The decor is that of a 50s diner with a collection of cars to show! I am incredibly grateful to have childhood memories here (:

Hadn't visited since before pandemic, I called in my order and got a text shortly. This was the absolute best pizza 🍕ever!!! Also my debit card had been compromised and the manager okayed my check so I didn't have to go back to the river crying 😢 Thanks a million for your excellent service and most delicious pizza and chef salad. I wanted to love it, because I used to go as a kid with my mom many years ago. The pizza was good- just not hot. As if it had been left behind and forgotten for awhile. It did take much longer to get the pizza, so I am assuming this was due to a lost order. It was busy but not overly. I'll try again at a less busy time, and I hope they don't crush good memories of long ago.

Cute 50s-dinner style pizza place in the middle of Longview. The meat lovers pizza was HEAVY on the ground beef. Canadian bacon pizza was good, basic pizza. The salad was mainly white iceberg lettuce. Our order was served in decent time and we enjoyed the old time atmosphere and decor.

I'm giving a 2 star because last three times I've ordered food my pizza has been over cooked not as I ordered almost sauce less just not the same as it used to be. And first time it happened my pizza was so tuff and hard like my crust had been out for two days. I waited a good two months before we went back went back it was burnt to a crisp so this last time which was almost two weeks ago I asked for extra cheese like always it seems they did the opposite and again my pizza was hard and this time I waited inside for it.. so it'll be a year before I go back...

I went to Pizza King often as a child. This is my mother's favorite restaurant. Ever since the new ownership took over we have seen drastic changes. The service is horrible at times. I ate in this past Saturday and there was trash on the floor around a few tables, while a worker just sat on his phone doing nothing. They also forgot the mushrooms and onions on my pizza. Some of the workers were friendly though, there was a young gentleman employee who had a nice mustang, I gave him a thumbs up and he genually seemed to appreciate the compliment. I hope to be able to change my rating the next time I go.

Ordered a medium sausage and pepperoni pizza on cauliflower crust (my 1st pie from PK), and it was very small and cost over $15 for me to pick it up...so I was disappointed. Flavor (3/5), Topping Load (3/5), Crust (4/5...nice and crispy).

Unfortunately Pizza King is changing. It started changing as soon as new owners took over. The crust was not the same, usually undercooked, noticed the cook times got shorter. And the fourth street location, although very convenient, the pizza is more different than the old pizza. Crust is never the same, no consistency. Very short cook times. Crust has become doughy. Please please go back to the old way!!!! We would eat it weekly if it was the same. But now I almost never want it because it is changing more and more. Each time we get it from fourth street it is worse.

Get it together Pizza King! Last 2 to go orders had issues. First one I waited 20 minutes over pick up time frame given while waiting in the lobby and finally questioned why it was taking so long..I know to expect long waits when they are busy but they were not. Restaurant was extremely slow and no to go orders on the oven so the delay didn't make sense. Get home, open the box and pizza is burnt. I call to speak to a manager and the guy that gets on the phone tells me quote "after you questioned why the order took so long we realized I'd gone to the bathroom and no one was watching the oven so your pizza was overcooked" . Clearly someone boxed my pizza and saw that it was burnt yet did not care. On this same visit the female who makes pizzas was excessively using her nose every few seconds to click her smart watch to check her messages WHILE making pizzas. Yuck! I give it over a month and tonight decide to order a to go order. Walk in at 8:20 and the restaurant is dead, literally 2 tables and only my order along with another is on the oven. As a 40 plus year customer of Pizza King this is definitely not normal, even on a rainy night. I walk in and no one was at the register and within about a minute I was greeted by a younger guy with long hair walking up from the back vaping and blowing smoke in my face. The same "kitchen manager" from my last visit who I spoke with some sort of black face mask on covering his beard walks up at the same time. He sees the guy vaping IN THE KITCHEN and said nothing as if it was a normal thing. I immediately tell the cashier that there is NO WAY the original owner would have ever allowed that and she just laughs it off. I get home and my pizza has literally almost no sauce on it which has happened more than once. Whoever is in charge of managing this restaurant needs to do better and pay attention to what is going on. The fact that the restaurant has been "dead" on my last 2 visits speaks volumes. Hal Inman and the entire Inman Family put their blood sweat & tears into making Pizzas King a Landmark for Longview. There is a set standard that is expected from Loyal Customers and in turn should be upheld & respected by your employees. It's disheartening to see the decline of Pizza King & the overall experience to be treated as if it's the next Dominos down the road by your staff. Your night crew nor the supervisor are holding up to an acceptable standard and therefore changes need to be made and/or issues addressed. I never write reviews but based on my last 2 experiences I felt it was necessary. Figure out the problem and fix it!

Locals like it but we aren’t locals. It was OK but nothing special. Took a long to to get our pizza and it was 1:30pm...just a few people there. Waitress wasn’t very attentive. Over $20 for a large two topping with two soft drinks...seemed about $7 too much. Oh well...we gave it a shot. Not the worst pizza we’ve had but far from the best.

Not really sure what has changed with the crust, but something has. I ordered a large kings delight and the crust was so thin and tasted different. Please for the love of God go back to the old crust.

I heard great things about Pizza King and I thought to try it out. I went on a Friday evening and my server got my drink wrong which was fine, and I got what I wanted. We didn't have to wait long for the pizza, but I was disappointed in it. There was barely any sauce to the pizza and the onions weren't what I was expecting. If you look at the photo with the pizza crust you can see that there is tin foil on the pizza. This pizza might have been good in the past, but to me it just tastes like frozen pizza with fresh toppings. One good thing though is their salads are huge so it's easy to share, but their menu is pretty limited.

I placed an order in the Chow Now app for a specific pick up time. Arrived to pick up order and it was not ready for the scheduled pick up time. I had to wait an extra twenty minutes just to get my order. This is just unacceptable. Do better Pizza King.

This was my first time dining in at Pizza King. It was not very busy when we arrived. It took a long time to get the three small pizzas we ordered. Two were hot and the third was not very warm. The pizza was mediocre. Not sure what all the hype is about!!

Love, love, love Pizza King pizza. It is the best in town. However, the management and staff are horrible. New ownership needs to look into quality assurance. Seems they can never get an order right, and it's at their expense. 8 out of our 10 last online orders are messed up in some form or fashion. When you tell the naive kid behind the counter they look dumbfounded. Then they go get the ticket from your online order and have a small meeting. Someone with tenure comes up and gives you the options to wait as they make your corrected pizza, you can take the mistake, or take one as a take and bake. Do the owners keep track of these mistakes that are costing them $?

We have eaten here several times before over the years. This experience was far below our expectations and previous experiences. There was very little flavor in the pizza and we could not detect any sauce or cheese on the all vegetarian pizza. It was as dry as cardboard. Maybe they were in a hurry and forgot to put it on there but in any case it was disappointing. I am only giving it a two star because of previous good experiences.

So incredibly disappointed in Pizza King The last couple of times I have ordered through DoorDash for pickup I have arrived at the correct arrival time only to find my pizza hasn't been started this has happened twice in a row and although inconvenient I waited let them start the pizza picked it up when it was ready and went home Tonight I ordered and when I walked outside my truck battery was dead immediately contacted DoorDash and was told there was nothing they could do I called Pizza King and told them I needed to pick it up about an hour later than originally planned the girl on the phone told me there was nothing they could do they couldn't restart another pizza so that it would be fresh it couldn't cancel my order can't refund my money so basically I've paid for a pizza that I never received and that to me just doesn't seem right!!!

Ordered a medium pepperoni pizza for 13.00 when they handed me the pizza box I was thinking that must be a small pizza. Opened it up and yes it has 8 slices But the size of the slices is about the size of a personal pizza. Very disappointed in the size and the taste not good anymore. Little Ceasars medium is bigger in size and actually taste slightly better. Ive been eating at pizza king 20 years plus and its not good anymore. I like spicy foods but unfortunately my grandkids couldn't eat this pepperoni because its too spicy for them.

Placed a pickup order, when picking up I was not greeted, the gentleman who finally helped me seemed upset or annoyed, once we tried eating the food the spaghetti had an old taste to it & the bread was so tiny compared to the spaghetti portion we received. Not so happy with the food or service.

So I found out tonight that Pizza King is no longer owned by the same people and I will say it shows. It looks like Pizza King but they don't make the pizzas the same. You now have to special order some toppings even though the menu says they come on the Pizza. They are very spearing with the toppings now. As far as the service goes it is awful. I guess they ran off all the people that made this place great for years. I have been going there for 35 years but I will not be back. I highly do not recommend

We ordered 3 pizzas online. We got the confirmation text that said the order was ready, and when my husband got there they said only a portion of it was ready. He sat there for 45 minutes waiting and checked in every 15 minutes or so to get an update, only to be told it still wasn’t ready. Once it had been an hour they finally “found” the rest of the order that was misplaced. 2 of the pizzas were not fresh. We ordered a container of ranch that wasn’t properly packaged and was almost spilled in the bag. Today is not their day. I’ve never had an issue with Pizza King until today.

Brown salad!!! Ordered Hamburger and Onion get there , pizza has NO ONION. Now online you have to click onions twice!!! Rude service, no apology. While I’m waiting for them to cook up some onion( yuck) they served probably 5-6 people, there was not a single ‘ thank you’ from the employees!! Solution give me raw onion in a cup!! Think I’m done with the NEW Pizza King!! Might need to fix this one before you expand beside Wendy’s.. sad because this was our favorite.

Ordering was easy I got a keto bowl which means no bread pizza, it was so salty very dry 🙄😩, I ate half of my order cause i was so hungry. The saltiness was the worse!!

Ordered water Italian spaghetti with 10" pizza. Water tasted like it was from the faucet. The spaghetti sauce was nasty. It is like it had been setting out for days. I'd be embarrassed to be called Italian after eating soap tasting spaghetti. The only thing that was ok was the salad and crackers. The pizza was sad. Definitely an over rated restaurant.

Have you ever eaten an Italian breadstick the kind that tastes like a cracker ? That’s pizza kings crust . So hard you can’t even eat the bread . The crust is horrible I had to pull the topping off because I couldn’t eat the crunchy crust . No softness and without yeast . I will never go back again that’s not pizza that’s a hot mess . Might break a tooth on it .

I have been eating here for 13 years, I’ve always love Pizza King’s aesthetic, their food, and atmosphere. However I am extremely disappointed by the fact that their House Dressing recipe has apparently changed. The first time I tried it, I thought perhaps my tastebuds were off. But today, I tried it again and I gagged on the flavor of it. I don’t know what they changed about it, but it is now inedible. Our waitress told us it hadn’t changed, and she doesn’t know why people keep saying that.

Wow! What happened to ya'll??? Called in a large everything, 20 minutes later you text say it's ready, get home and the crust is Raw! Couldn't eat it! No pride in your food ! Guess it's the new owners that don't care! Done with ya'll!!

I don't really see the hype. I've had better pizza at a convenience store. Dry and fairly bland.

Has always been a family favorite BUT terrible almost inedible. Over cooked dry no flavor. Order not right. Soren’s over $70 to feed my family. Will not be back.

I ordered through door dash. I've never heard of ordering from a pizza joint and having to cook it myself. This was my first and last time I'll eat from Pizza King. I ordered an extra pepperoni pizza and it was delivered uncooked, with instructions on how to cook it. I paid $30 for an uncooked pizza.

Used to be the best pizza in the area…. Now below par, I’m not sure if they’re even putting sauce on the pizzas any more and the crust has changed for the worse. I would give anything for an old pizza king Bud Special or kings delight. And the 4th street one is terrible.

The food was horrible. I ordered the meat lovers pizza and it had no flavor. Hamburger meat tasted like it was boiled and washed off. My sister order the Philly cheese steak sandwich and it also tasted like it had been boiled with no seasoning. The pizza crust was so hard it hurt my mouth.

My first time ever eating here and my last. Pizza crust was so hard like it was old dough, sauce and toppings had no flavor. We also got a philly cheese steak sub and it tasted like the meat was boiled and no flavor what so ever this also came with a salad and stale sesame bread sticks and crackers had to be out of date. Didn't even bring it home to feed the dogs.worst place ever

August 26, 2025 I purchased a medium loaded pizza from Pizza King! I took a Bite of pizza and I tasted something funny in my mouth that tasted like metal thought maybe it was a bad olive or something and i swallowed the bite- I felt something going down my throat rough- I took another bite and I tasted that same metal taste again- I spit the pizza out of my mouth and I found 2 4 inch sections of tinfoil in my pizza. I contacted the owner and wanted to meet him face-to-face to talk about this issue and he refused and said he was not gonna do a damn thing different- Those were his words! From speaking with one of the workers there they say this happens all the time - tinfoil is found in the food- I also saw another post on here where somebody else found Tin foil in their pizza! This is obviously an ongoing problem And the owner does not care if people are eating foreign objects because he refuses to stop using Tin foil - So check your pizza before you eat it and especially if you have kids check your kids pizza- I for one will never eat here again, especially considering how the owner dealt with the situation- Very rude and unprofessional!
