I can’t be in to tell you how amazingly beautiful and delicious these cakes are. If you’re gluten-free, I highly recommend although I do believe they are made in the same kitchen. These gluten-free cakes are fantastic and French perfection.
I don't love in this area but when I'm driving anywhere near it I always stop by. I wish they would make another location in the east bay. They have sweets you just won't find anywhere else. You have to go if you like sweets. Not just chocolate sweets! They have fruity stuff too. I bought a mixed box of things. I love their passionfruit eclipse!! But everything is so good. Yesterday I tried something new. The purple colored berry beauty (gourmandise) was such a delight it's now among my faves so I hope they keep carrying it. Their lemon curd raspberry tartlet was also a nice surprise. If you love hazelnut, look for the Terrible 😆 it's yummy! If you haven't ordered for the holidays call them now to order the igloo or a Buche! Everyone will love you for it. They do charge a 3% fee for using a credit card so bring cash if you can.
Absolutely outstanding pâtisserie. You can taste the authenticity in every bite—the owner is genuinely French, and it truly shows in the quality, technique, and flavors. Everything is fresh, balanced, and made with real passion. This is the kind of place you come back to again and again. Highly recommended.
Europe in Los Gatos. Beautiful patisserie chocolattery and great coffee. High-End pastries and even beautiful birthday cake for a very special events.
De Fleur Cocoa completely exceeded our expectations! We tried three different pastries, and almost all of them were absolutely delicious. The chocolate kouign amann was buttery and flaky, and the chocolate pastry practically melted in our mouths. The bakery itself feels cozy and charming, like a little corner of Paris, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area—we’ll be coming back for more!
Amazing little French bakery In downtown Los Gatos. A little on the pricey side, But I think worth the experience. I wanted to try one of everything. Some of the pastries look like artwork. Little bit of seating inside however more outside... great ambience. I'd like to know what kind of espresso they use because it was very smooth. When outside of the norm and tried the Cinnabear (A cinnamon and honey latte).
Delightful french patisserie with great looking (and tasting) pastries and chocolates. We had a European style breakfast with quiche pastries and coffee and it was delicious and the service was very friendly.
Just mind blowing selection of pastries and fancy desserts! I’ve been several times to this place and the owner is always there, very friendly and thoughtful. There are several tables indoors and large outdoor seating area. Cappuccino was amazing! Latte was a bit overheated and flat.
Their cakes are divine! Went there last week to pick up a cake for a bestie's bday lunch and purchased one and the kind French woman (assuming she's the owner) let me know that it was frozen and would need a few hours to defrost, and i needed it immediately. I asked if I could return it and get the individual cakes, which were not frozen, and she was like totally. That was truly sweet of her to let me know and the individual ones didn't disappoint either! Pic attached. Also pic of my hubby's bday cake from last month. Amazing!!
Fleur de cocoa has been a longtime family favorite for European French pastries and desserts. The cafe is just like one of those cafes on a busy Parisian street in size, decor, and of French delicacies. They make everything in house and the desserts are wonderful. The cafe has some nice brunch / lunch options and the lattes are delicious. For your intimate celebrations, I recommend trying a cake here, as they are rich, decadent, and of European quality. They also make gluten free cakes ☺️ and their macarons are gluten free as well.
You’ve really got to try the quiche Lorraine here. It’s to die for. These are really Europeans making the best authentic dishes (Swiss and French, so be careful who you accuse of being French!!). The outdoor seating is super nice and the pastries are also superb. I had a special pineapple treat which was amazing. Coffee also marvellous as you’d expect, and plenty of sweet treats if you choose to explore them!
Everything is so delicious. The best French patisserie in South Bay!
All pastries looked delicious! We tried the chocolate tart and it was so dense and had three different layers of chocolate that made it so tasty. I would go just for this pastry again and can’t wait to try others. The cappuccino we got was also great. Limited seating inside but there is more outside.
*forgot to take a photo of the croissant before I started eating it* Everything you’d want from a cafe. Came here for the first time at a friend’s recommendation and I will definitely go back the next time I’m in The Bay. The black coffee is surprisingly unique with floral notes that make it taste lighter than a traditional dark roast. Even though I only tried the almond croissant, I can tell this cafe is a must for its pastries. For the croissant, while the outside was perfectly flakey, the inside was doughy in an amazing way: this gave it fun textural variation. I am also not typically a fan of almond extract, but because the croissant was made so well and was covered with fresh almond slivers, I didn’t mind it, I actually think it heightened the natural flavors of the pastry. Fleur De Cocoa is phenomenal and am looking forward to trying more of what they have to offer when I come back.
Love, love, love this place! 🎈🔥 My favorite dessert is chocolate almond croissant. Honestly, coffee is ok, you can find better coffee places. But cakes are really something. Every cake is a piece of art. If you have not been here yet, do not wait :-) get your yummy artsy cake now 😁👍🏻
Passion fruit dark chocolate mousse cake is absolutely delicious. Everyone loves it.

Absolutely delightful! I had the best croissant and authentic French-style bread at Fleur de Cocoa. Flaky, buttery perfection that melts in your mouth this place is a hidden gem in Los Gatos!

While attending the parade I stumbled upon this place. There was a line out the door so I hopped in. Waited 15mins and placed my order. So many goodies to pick from. Paid and waited a few minutes for our food and dined outside on the patio. Chocolate almond croissant: 3/5 too much going on here. Pain au chocolat would have been better. Almond croissant: 4/5 a bit too bready but taste is good. Apricotine: 5/5 the best of the 3. Not too sweet, great flavor and love the flaky buttery crust. Coffee: good per hubby
Plenty of outdoor seats, perfect place for relaxing in a holiday afternoon with sunny weather and warm breeze. The pastries are all dedicatedly designed, really lovely. Ordered the Cloud cake, the sweetness is a little strong and the banana tastes a bit sour.
The desserts were great but felt too sweet. We got their mango delight and a chocolate based dessert. The texture was light and the flavour was subtle. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't too sweet. It's a very small place and you may not have seats all the time. They do have coffee and tea along with desserts.

Swiss Brioche was outstanding. I arrived mid-morning on a Sunday. Next time I'll get there earlier for a wider selection! Pastries are pricey, but delicious.
The cakes here are delicious — so much so that I buy them every year as gifts for friends. Unfortunately, the customer service does not match the quality of the products. The staff are not very friendly, and even when purchasing an expensive cake, there is often no paper bag provided to carry it comfortably. I hope the bakery can improve its customer service and be more considerate of customers’ convenience.
