The hospitality was fantastic, the service was just as good, the food was hot and made to order, the only thing I could complain about I asked for my steak medium, and it was well but it was so tender, Great experience, 💯💥

A hidden treasure. They could use a bigger sign, but once you find it, expect great people, great food, friendly service, and true Southern hospitality. From heaping piles of grits to homemade biscuits smothered in gravy, they have the food that cures what ails you. For dinner they even have prime rib and filet mignon! The customers are even nice as they chat with you over a glass of sweet tea and ask about your travels. If I make it back to Alabama, I'm hitting up Hwy 80 Cafe for sure.

The food was absolutely excellent. I had the grilled chicken, potato salad, and baked beans. The chicken was amazing, tater salad was a little soupy, but tasted great. All in all best chicken around hands down. Very pleasant folks serving, but my order was to go.
Stopped in for a quick bite and I'm glad we did! Great family owned business who use their own local produce in store. Our burgers were hot and fresh and service was great.

We came here based on the reviews. Nice, friendly servers. The food was very basic diner food. The patty melt on "texas" toast was regular bread. The patty was small. We were offered to-go drinks and they had us bring our watered down mostly empty sodas over and poured them into styrofoam cups. One of them was mostly just ice. Then they were topped off. Wasteful...no.. but if that's what we were getting I would have said no.
Wasn't great. Two visits. Hamburger over done first time. Fish chewy the second. In there defense during first rounds of Covid-19 & one person working.
Although while I heard amazing things about hwy 80 cafes food the middle aged lady owner of this business has a very nasty attitude and could definitely work on it!
