We went to outback in Lufkin for my sister in laws birthday celebration and Madison was our server. She was AWESOME! Very personable and always had our refills coming! We had a party of about 15 and when I say we were well taken care of, WE WERE WELL TAKEN CARE OF! Even management was amazing! As soon as we got there they sat us down, we did call ahead but they had our table ready, management greeted us, Madison came over right away and it was overall a great experience! They came and sang happy birthday to my sister in law and made us feel very welcome! We’ve gone to other restaurants(Ralph & Kacoos, Cheddars, Olive Garden etc etc) for celebrations and I have to say this is by far the best experience we’ve had! The food was good and cooked to our liking, we didn’t have to wait long and again we were a large party! All in all we will def come back here for our other celebrations! Best experience to this day, really recommend Outback in Lufkin if you are going to celebrate a party, birthday, anniversary or whatever occasion! Even dinner. Go, you won’t be disappointed!

We celebrated two birthdays with one visit to Outback Lufkin. Food was delicious; steaks cooked perfectly as ordered by everyone. We all left over stuffed. Hostess and wait staff were personable and very attentive. It was a great experience for all four of us. And my pups enjoyed my leftover fries in their doggy bag.

Our server was named Mike and he was hands down the best server i have ever had at any restaurant experience! he remembered our names and made the large party we had each feel special and taken care of! food orders where perfect and he made such amazing conversation with us! 10/10! it was also my friends birthday and he made her day so special he sang happy birthday to her and actually taught us the Australian way of singing it so we could sing it to her! I will be requesting mike every time i go from now on! and if any type of management sees this mike is absolutely amazing i honestly could go on for a while talking about our experience and he deserves all the praise!

I had the 13oz steak with coconut shrimp for take out. It was cooked to perfection and bite was flavorful and juicy. I call to let them know i was very pleased!

Christmas Eve our daughter had a 15 hour labor all she wanted was mash taters gravy and Mac and cheese! Ms. Britni came out with I guarantee the best set! We came back after giving our daughter her food and everything from the wait helpful service amazing servers and the steaks literally melt in your mouth! Everything was so mouth watering and delicious!!! Ms. Britni spotted us and of course made a B line to make sure everything was perfect! I can’t say exactly how perfect it was. It felt like home here we come from a small town and this place was home us. Absolutely will be back! Mike is one of the best servers I have ever had. If you’re looking to have a dining experience like no other, he is the only server that can provide the all around flawless experience that we all look for when dining. 5 stars does not do him justice 1000/10! We celebrated a birthday at this establishment. Our server was amazing, super friendly. We were seated in an adequate area as we had many kids with us. Food came out in a timely manner and so did the drinks. It was a pleasant visit.

Mike is one of the best waiters that I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He does a great job of waiting (keeps drinks full, gets orders right the first time, etc…). He is thoughtful and helpful. He interacts wonderfully with our toddler. We hope he serves us every time we come here.

Hands down to the best server named Alex. He went above and beyond to recommend items and dishes that were delicious. He made sure nothing had dairy products in it. The spicy honey was fantastic with the bread. Peppercorn sauce was delicious with the mashed potatoes, steak cooked to perfection, and grilled fresh veggies were also fantastic 😋. We had a great experience dining at Outback. We're a bunch of service industry folks ourselves so, we really critique with all things food. The manager personally came over and chatted with us to make sure we were doing okay and if everything was fine. She was a sweetheart. I told her I needed a broom later to clean after my kids. I absolutely insisted until they gave in and told me yes. (Because, I hate my kids leaving a mess) We ended up not being super messy and we just picked up his extras off the floor. Shoutout to the expo team. They treated us GOLDEN with incredible speed. If you happen to be in Lufkin and want Steak give Outback a try. And ask for your server to be Alex - he's the best!

We ordered the 8 oz Victoria Filet with loaded baked potato and ceasar salad. We had a few slices of the brown bread and the meal arrived. Cooked perfectly, potatoes had just the right amount of toppings. Completed the meal with a giant slice of carrot cake. Was more expensive than the last time I ate at Outback. This was my first visit to this location. It was exceptionally good. I'm strict about cleanliness and it was very clean. Morgan was attentive with just the right timing for everything. Not too much attention but perfect. Will definitely return and ask for her section. Update: 2/11/24, went for Valentines dinner. Tried the new FILET "Sheila". It was excellent never had flavors mixed like that. I wonder where to get the carrot strings. Fantastic. Alex the waiter was exceptional. Informed, polite and there when we needed him! Hope he is there on our future visits.

Our group was two adults and five kids. We ordered three sirloins, one rib eye and one prime rib. All were done to perfection. Great meal!

Food and service were good. Waitress was attentive and polite. The only slight negative was a very loud talking manager. We were trying to eat and had to listen to this guy talk so loudly that, from 30 feet away, we heard about his Sam's Club shopping experience, his dogs eating preferences, etc. It was almost comical. Overall good experience though.

On October 5th around 9:30 PM, I came in with some of my coworkers, as it was my first time at Outback and I wanted to try something new. As I walked in, I was hoping to be properly greeted by a hostess as I work at a restaurant that's very adamant about hospitality. However, the hostess "working" was actually on her phone sitting down. After a couple of minutes, she took us to a table. We enjoyed our service and food from then on and had a wonderful meal.

If u are a rewards member make sure they give you your qualifiying visit sometimes they forget to ask. Great food and awesome people. Get the Victoria's filet mignon medium with the Tasmanian Chilli and blooming shrimp for the appetizer and dip your steak in the bloom sauce hands down the best combo and of course you can't forget the shark bite to wash it all down, 2nd go to dish is the bloomin chicken super tasty!

Overall, the food was very flavorful. Unfortunately there were issues with our order. Of the 4 of us; 3 of our orders were incorrect. We had to return a steak for being under cooked. One over cooked. The other had shrimp instead of chicken. When the under cooked steak was recooked a large chunk was cut out of it (even though we had not had a single bite from it). But truly, despite the mistakes, the taste of the food made up for the inconvenience. The dessert was excellent ! I still recommend this outback over the one in Humble, TX.

But I did not like there handicap parking, the Front Door is Too Far Away From The Handicap Parking Area for my Elderly Parents. Or for Anyone who maybe Disabled. The parking is on the Side of the Building and they have a Fence on that side which makes a person have to walk way around to get to the front doors. They Should Remove The Fence on the Side By the Handicap Parking Area so Anyone that is Handicap can have Access to the front doors quickly, safely !

Enjoyed my experience here overall. The food was delicious but just probably too much on the salty side. I’m sure it was just a mishap on that day. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere as good as you can get. There wasn’t much of a wait and everything went smoothly. The staff is very friendly too, what a team! I was really surprised about the quality of our steaks. Not good... Tough as nails.

Ordered ribeye steaks. Flavor of them is disappointing, just bland. Ordered mushrooms with mine and they come in a bowl and are almost pickled or something, can't quite put my finger on it. Just a rather disappointment when your wanting a really good steak.

First time here, read bad things about the place and they aren't kidding. I ordered the 18oz bone in ribeye with a salad and baked potato. Salad and spud were good. Steak tasted ok but was missing that grill flavor. Almost as if it came right out of the sous vide and spent 30 seconds on the grill. Service was ok until after I ordered them they vanished. A worker from the kitchen brought my food out. Only a handful of tables. Bartender was friendly and attentive. I'll try this place again; but if I get the same thing I'm just going to move on.

I’ve got pretty severe lactose intolerance, and when I visited this location on a slow Tuesday morning, this establishment’s goof caused me 2 days of gastrointestinal grief. I made it very clear that I couldn’t have any dairy whatsoever on a dry baked potato, an untopped sweet potato, steamed broccoli, and grilled asparagus. I had my suspicions about the baked potato as I was eating it, as the skin was a bit crispy (most likely buttered), but they said there was no dairy in it. 30 minutes after lunch, I had all the textbook symptoms of dairy, and fought through them for the next two days. You’ve gotta know your allergy information at a chain establishment like this. This blunder was inconvenient for me, but could be life threatening for someone else.

I have never been to an Outback and this one did not make me want to go back. We understood that being Valentine's Day there would be a wait, but that was the ONLY thing that went as expected. Our server took our entire evening order at the first stop as we were ready and knew what we wanted (the steak dinner for 2) we both ordered bar beverages and I had a sweet tea. After that, she brought my tea, they brought out our bread, then our appetizer, and then his salad. We are better than half way through the appetizers when we have to ask where our bar drinks are and a refill for my tea, the manager ends up getting my tea, she brings the bar drinks, she put in the wrong one for me, corrects it and then brings out the food, well, we both ordered medium rare steaks. I'm not a send the food back kind, his steak was medium and mine was essentially blue rare. He likes his that way, so he just ate both. I was not impressed. Guess I haven't really missed out on much over the years. The staff was very friendly and polite, it just sucked, especially for my first ever trip to Outback on our Valentine's date out. The manager did try to fix things (although we never told her everything that happened, she removed the misring drink and took off my other drink) on my ticket. It was more disheartening then it was aggravating.

Will not be back we had an uninvited bug guest that ran across our table. The Manager did cover the the cost of the appetizer we ate but we did not eat our meal nor did we take it with us. If they are in the dining area I can only imagine how bad the infestation is the kitchen.

I'm sorry but who ever in the kitchen need to learn steak and Medium rare it was burnt and tough like rubber the Alfaro had no favor I love shrimp they where so close to raw rice had no taste at all and the salad was omg lettuce why would you give every part but the green no no blooming onion great drink wonderful..hopefully the cook get it together
