Every time I come in, I am greated right away and the lady who runs the front asks if it will be my usual order. I try to eat here once a week because the food is so good. The place is clean and always fast. Staff is always friendly! Pot stickers are amazing. I usually order something for family to take home or pickup. I always try my families food and have never had a bad dish here. It is the ONLY place to go for Chinese food in Madera. I have been looking for a good spot for a while now and hands down the best in Madera and the surrounding area!

Absolutely delicious. I ordered there once and it was the best fried rice and sweet n sour pork I've ever had. I can't wait to go there again and try their orange chicken, sesame chicken, all that good stuff.

Delicious food and excellent prices. Staff always friendly, helpful and go extra mile. Accommodate special orders and quick service. Taste and quality of food is consistent. A hidden gem. Highly recommend you check them out!!

I go out and get takeout at least once a week and Hong Kong Madera has become my favorite local spot! Very welcoming, friendly place and workers. The food is delicious and the portions are more than I expected. Also there’s plenty of variety for me to keep coming back and trying. I’m looking forward to keep going back!

Very friendly staff. Awesome delicious food. We ordered way too much food. Got 1 plate of pork fried rice, pork chow mein, orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, and fried shrimp. 2 adults and 3 kids barely made a dent in the food. Taking alot home for later. Grand total with drinks was $62 and w/ tip was just over $75. Kinda pricey but for what you get its worth it. Will pay more attention next time we order. First time here and definitely will return. I'd give it more stars if I could. 10/5* would recommend.

I have been coming to eat at Hong Kong Restaurant in Madera, CA for many years and I love their Chinese food. The people who work there are very friendly and nice. Great customer service!! Also, they serve you a lot of delicious food for a reasonable price. Good lunch specials. My co-workers and I like coming here for lunch. It’s worth coming here. I recommend it to my friends and family and anyone else that wants to have some abundantly delicious Chinese food.

If you come for a takeout meal for the family, I recommend the Special House Fried Rice and Special House Chow Mein. Me and my family have always ordered this for years since we came to Madera. Some of the bad reviews come from a long time ago when they were closed for a while and switched management. During those times it did seem like the food was mediocre and the service was lacking, but they did change management again and it's back to being great. The food is back to being better than I remember it and the service is great. Very friendly work staff and the wait isn't long. Best Chinese restaurant in Madera in my honest opinion.

Great food, great prices, except for dining in. It's $2.95 for a soda (fair), but it's a $1.50 charge for a refill. I don't understand that logic, but uh... Gotta make money somehow. Probably best to get food to go. It's really good otherwise.

Consistently delicious food, owner is very nice. It's a small place in an outlet, very casual setting. They pretty severely mishandled their wait times on Valentine's Day, so I'd bear that in mind for any holiday takeout, but otherwise I highly recommend it.

I didn't really like the way I saw my food being prepared they weren't cooking it... they seem to be pulling it out of pre-prepared bowls just didn't seem authentic to me I want to see somebody cooking my stuff in a wok

Not much to say it was good and the service was good as well no complaints everything made fresh and hot.

Typical small neighborhood Chinese restaurant; nothing fancy. Food and service were good. An irritant was charging $3.50 for a fountain soda and refusing to refill, wanting another $3.50. Rather chintzy, putting a damper on an otherwise satisfactory dinner.

They’re totally penny pinching —I didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth at all. “Take care of your customers, and the profits will take care of themselves.”

The food there is very authentic and the owner is very attentive however the waitress was in training so she forgot to put in my order and started making excuses of her skills. When I brought that matter to the owner the owner wasn't really concerned that I waited at least 20 minutes for my food and even overcharged me $1.25 for miscellaneous items? Being that I used to waitress I do expect good service and the honest truth other than that the food was good

That wasn’t the worst part, the reason I am giving such low rating is because I noticed she dropped my egg rolls on the counter and then picked them up barehanded and put them back on my plate… she had also handled money right before that and didn’t wash her hands. So unsanitary and really rude. I asked her for new egg rolls and she asked why. I told her that I saw them fall and she said that they didn’t that she saved them on time. I didn’t eat them. Obviously not first time she does this. She also gave me my soda with more ice than soda even when I asked for light ice. I didn’t want to make a fuss as it seems this is how she typically runs things. I also saw her being very rude to the other waitress that was there by criticizing her and snapping at her. She pulled the broom away from her with force too. Honestly, that was just pretty much it for me. Not coming back again simply because of her service. But the food and the cooks are great. She was the worst.

Called in order. Food was ready when we got there. The chicken on my meal was so fatty. And the sweet and sour pork was as well. Some were hunks of fried fat with no pork in them. Not worth the money. And would not recommend.
