I have had quite a bit of work done here since moving to the area a couple years ago. I have always been treated very well by all but wanted to especially call out Trevor, Ray, and Daren--y'all are very skilled and provide very good customer service. Just recently had them build a new to us Liv road bike. The guys even helped me hide the project from my wife, we had the bike in the retail racks so I could surprise her. They really seemed to enjoy it and they all show a lot of pride in their work. Even with the corporate status of this shop, the folks that work there, really make it feel like a neighborhood bike shop. Thank you team, I will keep coming back!

Trek bikes speak for themselves, but the customer service at the Sugar Land location was on point. They were great with my purchase and even did a tune up on my kids first bike even though it wasn’t a Trek. Mom and Dad got a new Trek though!

Trevor was amazing! I had tried to put my son’s bike together and knew there were definitely some things off! He competently went over the whole bike and ensured it rides smoothly and safely. So grateful to Trevor!!!

Recently brought in my Bike to have new wheels built up plus some minor maintenance. I can say I’m pleased with how it turned out and more than happy to endorse and use Society Cycle Works in the future for all my biking purchases and maintenance. Mason did an awesome job on the wheel builds.

Well I know this place as Society Cycle works but it is now owned by Trek. Not a bad shop. A little limited on clothes selection but hoping they change that in the future :)

Very knowledgeable staff and super helpful. I didn't feel pressure to buy. They even built me 2 complete bikes so I could choose the colour in person! Great service! Will definitely be back soon for another bike or two!

They gave me amazing bike service for free, recommended some care for my bike, and didn’t try to sell the most expensive stuff, not, just very good one. Also, they have huge selection of things if you want update and improve your bike. Thank you guys for making me happy bicyclist again! 🚴‍♀️

Was on the hunt for a new road bike and came across these guys. They have the best variety of brands (gear and bikes!) and had multiple options in my size (don't know what's up with shops not having bikes for smaller people to try...) Everyone was so incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. Had to order my bike from the warehouse (on a Monday) and was told it'd be about a week. Got a call Saturday that it was ready and I could pick it up AND get fitted that day. I live inside the loop so it's at least a 35 min drive, but I will GLADLY do that drive anytime I need bike fixings. So stoked with how everything turned out.

They are clear with suggestions, options, shipping times, etc. This Bike store has many things, Sadly there are also others things needed for a biker that are not in the store, more options would be great.

Sadly, a great shop that carried an array of top-tier bike brands has become a 1-trick (Trek) pony. The good news is that the store has some of the best bike mechanics (Ray and Darren) in the greater Houston area.

Edit 10/5/23 I had previously given them 5 stars for their service, but after today's conversation with Jose, I have to give a 1 star review. I now live in the Philippines and I called to request information on some very simple parts: bearings for my front and rear wheels. Should be simple right? They have my serial number. After many minutes on hold, Jose came back and said he couldn't get the information and that he would need to call Trek directly. No big deal, I understand. Then I asked him about the bottom bracket bearings. I get a lecture over how I'm going to need special tools to do this. I inform him that I know this, that I can get the special tools, I just need to know what the bearings are so I can preorder those and have them sent to my Mom's place, as she is preparing a box to ship from the USA to the Philippines. It turned into such an awkward conversation, and I could tell he wasn't really interested in helping me secure the parts, like it was too much of an issue. So much for after the sale customer service! It's too bad, because I had a friend here in the Philippines that was interested in purchasing a bike from them. That won't happen now.
