This was such a unique experience! We ended up here because all of the other restaurants were closed or closing around 5pm. We came here without any expectations but genuinely enjoyed it. It felt like you were in someone's home which felt great as a tourist visiting the city. The food was delicious and the wine was great. It is standing room only and as soon as you walk in, they basically hand you trays of food and ask you what you want to drink and you pay immediately. It was a bit overwhelming when we first walked in but we were also loving the no frills atmosphere. And we were starving so were happy that we didn't have to wait for food. Highly recommend for a casual meal in Madrid.

Found this bar by accident just walking past, there seemed like a good vibe inside and we weren’t disappointed. Nowhere in the UK can you buy a couple of glasses of drink and be given 2 huge plates of tapas for €9. The food is great, the atmosphere is amazing. Love this place.

The best tapas bar in Madrid as they give free tapas when you order a drink. Giving free tapas when ordering drinks is part of Spanish tradition that sadly most bars in Spain do not do anymore :(

El Tigre Sidra Bar is one of the most famous spots in Madrid for tapas, so I wanted to give it a try. When I arrived, a staff member immediately asked what I wanted to drink — since here, whatever you order comes with food included. I went for a Tinto de Verano. Both the drink and the food were okay, but you don’t get to choose what food they give you, and they don’t really care about preferences. The atmosphere felt a bit pushy. The staff tried to be funny, but it came across more arrogant than welcoming. At one point, they hinted about tips, which felt unnecessary since tipping isn’t really a Spanish custom. The drink price is around 7 euros, so yes, you do get food with it, but I didn’t feel like it was great value. Another downside was that there weren’t many seats available — I ended up standing to eat while a few others had chairs. Overall, it was fine, but nothing special. Personally, I wouldn’t go back and would rather try other places for tapas in the city.

El Tigre Cidra Bar is a Madrid classic; can’t miss if you’re in Chueca. This is a well-known spot for Madrileños who grew up visiting it. It is famous for its gigantic free tapas with every drink, a tradition locals and visitors love. The atmosphere is rustic and unpretentious, always buzzing with people cramming around tall tables. The portions are large—expect plates loaded with patatas bravas, croquetas, meats, and more that could feed you for the night . It does fill up early, but that’s part of the charm. Tapas are simple and delicious, and the vibe feels like stepping into authentic Madrid life. Perfect for a fun evening…just order another drink to get another plate!

The very essence of tapas. There is no food menu - you order the drink of your choice and the server picks an assortment of small dishes and places on your plate, from chicken wings to mushroom and cheese balls. All of it goes well with beer of course. A truly authentic experience!

It was a very delicious meal. When you buy a drink, the entire dish is completely free for you, They ask you to tip, which is fair because a drink and a plate of food only cost 7 euros. I tipped too. But, I don't think the Spanish themselves ask for tips. 😅😂They only ask tourists. Anyway, it was fair. After 15 minutes of eating, they gave me a free bowl of meatballs. I don't know why but thank you.🥰🙏🏻

I walked in and went straight to the counter to order a non-alcoholic beer. Almost immediately, I was served the plate in the photo, featuring chicken wings, patatas bravas, and a variety of other tapas. The service was incredibly fast. The space is spacious, with two floors, making it perfect for small groups. The price-quality ratio is excellent, especially considering the generous portions. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the tavern-style decor added a great vibe to the experience. Highly recommend this spot

This place is so wild!!!! OMG I love it!!! The waiters don’t speak English at all and don’t care what you wanna eat. You just need to say what you wanna drink, and a huge portion of free tapas come. After having a small beer, I still wanted to have one more so I ordered a small beer again. Then another plate of the free tapas came along!!! I tried to tell the waiter that I don’t need that but he just didn’t care and left🤣🤣🤣🤣. My God, the experience was so amazing to me!!!!

Such a wonderful place in Madrid, absolutely love it. If you're looking to try the best tapas experience in Madrid, you've found the right place. The staff is very friendly and serves you Ina blink of light. The sangria is tasty and hits the right note, while the tapas included in the price of sangria are absolutely delicious and bargain. This hasn't been my first visit here and it definitely wasn't the last one.

No es que esté mal pero tampoco está bien. Es un sitio al que la gente va porque te atiborran a tapas, unas mejores que otras, pero a cambio te cobran 4,50 por una caña fatal tirada en un vaso de tubo y un servicio de batalla

En La Calle Infantas, entrando al afamado barrio de Chueca, encontramos por casualidad esta sidrería tan particular. El camarero detectó que no conocíamos el sistema y nos explicó que nosotros debíamos pedir la bebida y las tapas serían servidas a continuación. Nunca nos imaginamos la cantidad de comida que nos pusieron y además, todo estaba muy rico y el ambiente divertido.

Fui a El Tigre Sidra Bar por recomendación de un local y la verdad me encantó. Si quieres un par de cañas y comer y comer, este es el lugar. El ambiente es súper típico, la atención es rápida y las porciones son generosas de verdad. Perfecto para picar mucho sin gastar demasiado. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

Vienes de paso te apetece una jarra de cerveza (7€, san miguel)te ponen un plato con tapas en nuestro caso eramos 2, tambien pedimos unos huevos rotos,(patatas caseras 5 huevos y jamón,que pagas aparte 16€) aparte, cumple con la espectativa si quieres una birra para conversar y pasar un rato con amigos, sin esperar un plus gastronomico.

Bar muy popular en el barrio de Chueca, pedimos dos cervezas dobles y nos cobraron 7€ por cada una, pero de pincho, pusieron, patatas bravas, tortilla, alitas fritas, canapé de jamón, lacón y queso, comes, pero mal para los que quieren repetir cerveza

Went there with 5 other friends, and overall it was a very nice experience. It was really crowded so we had to eat standing, which was not great but the staff was really nice and welcoming. The food was okay, nothing amazing but served the purpose and ended up being a REALLY cheap dinner so we 100% recommend. Me and my friend don’t eat meat and the staff was kind enough to have that in mind.

If you want a real and authentic local experience, this is the place to go. It is always super crowded and you usually end up eating with your friends while standing at shared tables, since there are no chairs. The tables and floor are not the cleanest and it is quite loud, but this is part of the vibe and it is great for a casual night out with friends. As soon as you walk in you pay 7€ which includes a drink and plenty of food that is very simple, mostly fried and nothing fancy. The staff is quick even during busy times and the location is easy to reach. Good value for the price if you want something informal and down to earth.

The place is great if you're short on money and need some cheap post-party food + drinks, but unfortunately my stomach was a bit funky after eating some tapas there, which were kinda heavy. :( Also, they should reconsider the amount of sugar they put on the sangria, the bottom of my cup was covered by it. Besides that, the service is nice and the staff is enthusiastic, always playing some bells and interacting with the clients, which is nice! ❤️

El Tigre Sidra Bar is an okay spot; I decided to visit based on some reviews. The tapas they offer do come in generous portions, but the taste wasn’t as good as expected. I’d recommend it if you’re going with a group of friends, but it might not be the best choice if you’re alone or on a date.

Bar de batalla, te ponen gran cantidad de tapas con la bebida pero de calidad justa, de todo lo que nos pusieron, lo bueno, las alitas y las bravas. La atención del personal fue muy buena y rápida.

Fui porque varias personas me lo recomendaron como un sitio “imperdible” en Madrid, pero la verdad es que no me pareció nada espectacular. El concepto de pedir una bebida y que te traigan una tapas está bien y el ambiente es animado y típico del barrio de Chueca, pero en mi experiencia no superó las expectativas. La bebida estuvo regulinchi (6/10), pero las tapas me parecieron bastante X en sabor y calidad (3/10). No regresaría, definitivamente!!!!

Siempre hemos sido asiduos a este Bar. En nuestra última visita este fin de semana el servicio fue nefasto, malas caras por parte de los camareros de arriba, trato frio, nos dan vasos sucios y malas contestaciones por pedir otros vasos ya que tenían restos de comida. Antaño el bar era agradable y los trabajadores disfrutaban con lo que hacían.. estas nuevas contrataciones no hacen bien al restaurante.

Fumosi a conocer esta sidrería ubicada en el barrio de Chueca, por recomendación de un conocido. Aunque el servicio es rápido, el local deja mucho que desear a nivel de limpieza, está todo para cogerlo con pinzas. Me cobraron 9€ por dos tubos de cerveza San Miguel , acompañado de dos platos con abundantes aperitivos, pero con poca variedad y muy baja calidad. No lo recomendaría en absoluto y no volveré más.

Dos cervezas de San Miguel 11,50. Tapas de muy mala calidad. Un trozo de lacón estaba verde en el centro. No entiendo como a alguien le puede gustar esto. De verdad.

Really disappointed with the tapas here. The portions and quality were very poor. I’ve tried other places after that serve free tapas with drinks, and those were far better both in taste and atmosphere. I wouldn’t come back or recommend it.

Easily the worst tapas we had during our 2 weeks in Spain, some were tasteless, some were just bad. When the bartender heard us speaking in English, he blatantly asked how much for a tip on two drinks, and the suggested tip was 20-30% of the price. I'd rather go to a bar where I pay for my tapas separately
