¡Un cumpleaños inolvidable! Visitamos Sagardi por primera vez para celebrar mi cumpleaños y no pudo ser mejor elección. Nos decidimos por el menú degustación y fue un acierto total: comida tradicional, con producto de muchísima calidad y sabores auténticos. La atención fue estupenda, nos hicieron sentir muy especiales en todo momento. Salimos con una sonrisa y con muchísimas ganas de volver. ¡Totalmente recomendable!

Ha sido una comida excelente. Desde que entramos el ambiente fue muy agradable y el trato del personal impecable: atentos, amables y muy profesionales en todo momento. La comida estaba realmente deliciosa. Los platos muy bien presentados, con mucho sabor y se nota que trabajan con buen producto y cuidado en la cocina. Todo llegó en su punto y el ritmo del servicio fue perfecto, sin esperas innecesarias. En general, una experiencia muy positiva. Sin duda es un sitio muy recomendable y al que volveremos.

Siempre un placer volver a Sagardi. La cocina vasca tradicional en sala es buenísima y la barra de pintxos de lo mejor que hay en Madrid. Lo mejor es el servicio: Isma, Silvio y Juana y los demás miembros del equipo son súper profesionales. ¡Definitivamente recomendable!

Restaurante con amplia barra con surtido de pintxos y cuya carta está dividida en tres secciones: Para picar, La cocina de la abuela y carnes y pescados a la brasa. El local está bonito y es amplio, si bien el hecho de tener salón de arriba y salón de abajo junto con la barra hace que el servicio no sea lo eficaz que podría ser. La comida, muy buena; lo mejor, sin duda, los callos y morros, bien elaborados y con su punto justo de cocción y picante, lo cual no es habitual. Lo peor, al menos en la planta baja, el tremendo ruido, de no poder hablar. No sé si será un problema de insonorización pero llega a ser desagradable. Deberían ponerle solución si quieren que la clientela vuelva no solo por la calidad de la comida.

Restaurante vasco que cuenta con dos plantas. Una tipo salon de restaurante y otra una barra más informal para comer pintxos, que es a la que fuimos, aunque también tiene opciones de carta. Todo lo que probamos la verdad que estaba bastante rico, aunque nada sorprendente. El personal bastante agradable. Recomendable para picar algo si estás por la zona.

La experiencia Sagardi cambia cada vez que se asiste al restaurante. He estado un par de veces en las que, en cada una de ellas, ha sido una vivencia merecedora de ser comparable. En la primera, el producto dejó que desear bajo mi punto de vista, saliendo del restaurante en su medida poco satisfecho para el precio pagado. En la segunda, ante el menú de nochevieja, la organización en el servicio y el producto me dejó con ganas de volver. Si bien es cierto que la primera pudo opacar la calidad del producto, la segunda trae consigo una nueva oportunidad para conocer la experiencia completa de pintxos y el producto de su carta.

Excellent restaurant. Two person table was a little small. Reception at the entrance, not too friendly. They had a wrong time of our booking and argued with us on the phone. As we showed them the confirmation with the time, no excuse just an arrogant smile. The reception lady thought she is very important. Food was excellent. We recently spent 18 days in Spain (Madrid, Cordoba, Granada, Seville, and Barcelona), and had the privilege of dining at some truly amazing establishments. DiverXO and Disfrutar were both AMAZING. And while not on the same level (and not at the same price point), Tangana in Barcelona and Casa Flora in Girona were both also really good and we gave them five stars. With that in mind, while we can recommend Sargardi Castellana, compared to the others, we believe it only deserves 4 stars. The restaurant was highly recommended by our hotel in Madrid. James and I had tapas at Sagardi Castellana in Barcelona in 2012, and while we HIGHLY recommend the tapas, the formal dining was just meh (for me and James). The service was EXCELLENT, but we've had better food.

Fuimos a comer sobre las 15h con reserva previa. La merluza terminada y se cambió por dos de bacalao y al rato viene diciendo que solo queda 1 de bacalao oootra vez a elegir otra cosa y por lo hablar del txuleton… madre mía! (Somos vascos y sabemos de que hablamos!) La chuleta por la que pagamos 85€, la carne estaba dura, se hacía bola en la boca y la mitad era grasa. . Y el bacalao crudo y frío. Entre plato y plato, una eternidad… terminamos de comer a las 18h y sin hacer sobremesa. Horroroso!!! Mala calidad de la comida y muy lento todo. Los camareros muy agradables, nos pedían disculpas por la tardanza constantemente pero… vamos, ni una invitación. Ni a una bolita de helado que le pedí a mi hija que nos cobraron 7€! Pagamos casi 300€ 4 personas pero no es el dinero sino la mala calidad y la lentitud! Fuimos ahí porque no conseguimos sitio en el Asador Donostiarra pero …. Si os pasa… nada que ver! Our hotel reserved new year meal on our behalf at 150 euros each. We should have been warned after the difficulty in paying , unable to do so online so we made a special trip to pay a day ahead directly in the restaurant - at the latter our time was changed by the restaurant from 7 to 7. 30. When we arrived told we were late and our full restaurant table had gone ... grudgingly given but had to agree to leave by 9.30 with option of using downstairs bar to complete the tasting menu meal. Actual main meal was fine with good service from a very attentive bespectacled waited. At 9.30 we were transferred downstairs...drinks including our glasses of cava and red wine plus final sweet course were collected by the waiter. On going downstairs no assistance to get seated but we battled into securing stools....no sign of our drinks. When asked told there had been an accident and drinks were " gone "no apology ...only after remonstration did we get a glass of wine each . Felt treated like dirt !
