Menudo descubrimiento en plena Calle Jorge Juan. Magnifico sitio para comer con las tres B…Bueno Bonito Barato La cazuela y el chipirón negro con arroz,pura delicia en boca. Rica tortilla de Betanzos,jugosa como a mí me gustan. La plantilla que tienen es increíble,súper profesional y amables de principio a fin. También es un sitio donde poder disfrutar de algunos partidos de fútbol con unas copas o picando algo y eso se agradece. También he podido comprobar que los findes llevan un DJ para animar un poco más las noches madrileñas en una calle como es Jorge Juan. Sin lugar a dudas…volveré una y mil veces más. Hemos celebrado la Navidad en OCAFU de Jorge Juan. Buena relación calidad precio. De primero, pulpo, empanada, zamburiñas, croquetas y tortilla de Betanzos a elegir el segundo plato entre varios. Quiero destacar la labor, de Orquídea tanto por simpatía, profesionalidad. Siempre atenta, siempre sonriente. Toda la relación con el encargado, Javier, ha sido también estupenda y siempre ha hecho todo muy cómodo y sencillo. Repetiremos sin duda.

We visited this very nice restaurant on a Monday evening for a company dinner and we were amazed by the delicious dishes! We had different dishes to share like tapas including beef, vegetarian ones, crochetta, and some other things. Really good white and red wine as well as nice service. Definetely worth a visit. Moderate prices.

This place is great value for money. Food quality is outstanding, together with an attentive and professional service. The place is big enough to host group dinners as well as more reduced tables. Their prices are more than fair for the quality which they offer. I can just recommend: tortilla de patatas, pulpo a la gallega and their empanada. I always go there when I’m in Madrid.

We arrived just by chance, convinced that when the place is crowded, food should be good. And it was great! We tried the cazuela, a tasty mix of mariscos (octopus, shrimps…) the meat and a salad, and will definitely come back for the zamburiños. The “cocina gallega” is always a pleasure…

Bueno, bonito y gallego. La comida está muy buena. Pedimos muchas cosas, en general todo bien. Lo mejor, el rape, jugoso, en su punto, poca cantidad pero merece mucho la pena, al meterlo en la boca notas todo el sabor untuoso del rape. En resumen, no repetiré, pero solo por el precio, no me lo puedo permitir, pero si pudiera, no saldría de allí.

Restaurante gallego en la calle Jorge Juan con ambiente normal así como el servicio. Bonita decoración en el interior pero comimos en la terraza. La tortilla de betanzos muy rica y sabrosa aunque el pulpo insípido y no nos gustó mucho. Nos quejamos por el pan porque no ofrecen buen servicio pesar de cobrar 1.5 euros por persona porque estaba duro y tieso. La solución fue abrirnos otro bollito y tostarlo un poco. No creemos que sea la solución más adecuada para este restaurante, pierde puntos. Adjunto fotos

Carta corta. Cocina sencilla pero bien trabajada. La tortilla de Betanzos y las croquetas no deben faltar. Los taquitos de ternera bien. Las filloas están ricas (quizás demasiado dulces). Buen servicio.

Estuvimos durante el fin de semana. A destacar el pulpo con cachelos, los tacos de croca y los chipirones. Todo bastante bueno. Pero en general algo caro para la cantidad que trae (bastante poca. Uno pide una empanada de bonito de 11€ y le traen 6 trozos…). Pedimos una cerveza al entrar y sentarnos, pero el camarero no dejaba de decirnos que pidiéramos rápido (la comida y los vinos) como si molestáramos, hasta que tuvimos que decirle algo serios que éramos 4 y estábamos esperando a 5 personas más. En general, la experiencia no fue mala pero tampoco increíble.

I had a good meal with friends. Ir was a week night so the restaurant was at half capacity, which was Nice. The English of the staff was not very good, but I can understand Spanish. The food was really good. Overhaul it was a Nice experience. I will recomend it to friends

Tortilla is awesome. It's the best I've had in a long time. Croquettes are good too. The rest of the food is average, but everything is tasty and well-cooked. The staff is attentive and friendly. However, the extractor must be renovated as we left the place with an intense food smell in our clothes.

Excellent wine, amazing service, tidyness, nice ambient (A/C appreciated this time of the year). The food was really great too. I'm not giving the full 5 stars because they forgot one dessert (which I understand, as we were almost 20 people). It's not expensive and you will have an excellent time.

El local está bastante bien, es más grande de lo que parece, puede dividirse en varios ambientes, para acceder a los baños hay que bajar escaleras, Estuve en un pequeño evento donde las consumiciones se repartían con fichas de damas, el personal de la barra bastante seco, parecía que le molestaba atender con tanta fichita, la comida fue abundante pero todo muy crudo, hay a quien le encanta la tortilla de patata deshecha pero al ser tipo picoteo para tanta gente se quedaron esparcidas por el plato como un revuelto, la empanada igual y las croquetas normalitas…terminando las cenas un DJ toca en directo en la zona de la barra.

The tortilla and croquetas were good, and the seafood was nice as well. The razor clams were slightly overcooked. All in all it was good, but didn’t surpass my expectations. The venue looked a little tired but it was very busy regardless

Unbelievable experience - I can’t recall such unprofessional service in restaurants with Google rating above 4. OK the waiter didn’t understand single word in English, but he brought us english menu. We finger pointed our selection - cod with peas and paprika/ Galician tripe stew. He nodded and brought us apparently different meals (simple cod with potato ans some spinach soup). When I complained about it to the only English speaking waiter, she told us without any single word of apology that they don’t have vegetables and grilled cod is grilled cod and that tripe stew is not available anymore. I selected Galician beef stew instead which was OK, but overall experience is bitter feeling

While the Betanzos omelette is interesting (it's a potato omelette made with thinly sliced potato crisps instead of the usual chunky fried potatoes), the egg tasted artificial (as it was probably just pasteurized egg mix). I also had the squid ink rice and it was terribly bland and seemed put together by emptying a squid in ink can from the market on a plate and white rice that looked like the one you buy pre cooked and heat up in the microwave. In fact, I'm pretty sure that is how they prepared it. One of the best known Galician dishes, the pote (a vegetable soup) was not available due to the heat wave, which to be honest, I feel that should be up to the customer to decide if they should subject themselves to it, given that it's probably the main reason to visit a Galician restaurant over other types of eateries. The demand could be low or non-existent, but it is a staple that they should always have at the ready. While the venue is clean and nicely decorated, and the service was fine, the food really dragged the score down. After all, it is a restaurant and it doesn't matter if the staff is friendly when the food is subpar.

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! Very badly run. I ordered 2 items. The waitress brought us the first plate and said she was bringing the second one briefly. After a while I asked her about the second plate and she pretended we haven't ordered anything else. I reminded her what we had ordered and she said "oh, we ran out of that dish. This is all you're getting"
