Un clásico, y con razón. Legendario su escalope armando, en dos tamaños, pero sus tortillas son de altura, a destacar la tortilla con almejas y la tortilla con callos. El resto,de antología. El servicio y el local impecable, incluso el café, ¡no es torrefacto! Un 10.

Restaurante de calidad con una carta no muy extensa pero acertada. La tortilla española es espectacular, diría que está hecha con puré de patatas de lo fina que resulta. La croquetas son caseras y con una bechamel muy ligera. En la mesa que está muy bien montada con mantel y servilletas de tela, se presentan con patatas chips y ofrecen mantequilla y Ian en un formato muy original. Quizás revisaría la calidad de la mantequilla. Lis postres son muy ricos aunque quizás con demasiada nata o crema pero muy bien elaborados. La decoración está muy bien lograda siguiendo un estilo tradicional y sin elementos “de moda” y la iluminación es un acierto. Se puede hablar sin problemas ya que las mesas están separadas. El servicio es muy bueno, cabe mencionar a la jefa de sala por su profesionalismo y buen hacer. Es discreta y amable y lleva la batuta de la sala con diligencia. Hemos tenido la desgracia de ser atendidos por una empleada nueva, que lamentablemente desconocía la base del servicio pero en ningún momento cometió errores insalvables. Las sillas son muy bajas y hay que pedir un cojín de lo contrario terminas con la espalda destrozada. Recomiendo La Ancha sin dudarlo.

Ambiente familiar y comida tradicional con algunos toques modernos. Todo riquísimo,ambiente tranquilo y servicio muy atento. Pedimos arenques con limon que nos sorprendieron gratamente,una clásico gambas al ajillo y el baby con huevo y trufa que estaba espectacular....de postre tarta de queso y un harvest....para terminar perfectamente.Mas que recomendable .Reservar.

Que rico lugar ! No lo teníamos al comienzo de nuestros planes y por suerte pudimos conseguir reserva , el lugar es muy bonito , nos sentamos en la terraza interna que con un buen clima es muy rico estar ahí. La comida muy buena, la especialidad es el escalope, que es gigante y se sugiere para compartir . Eso si, prepárate para una buena cuenta .

Really good and interesting restaurant. This is a true fusion restaurant. Meaning that the chef clearly knows a lot about Japanese and Spanish cuisine and is able to mix them both in creative and delicious ways. The nigiris were great. It is on the expensive side and the portions are small so you need to order more. The dining room decor is OK, nothing outstanding.

If you want to get some of the best nigiris you'll ever taste, this is the place to be. I would strongly encourage sitting at the bar, as you see the cooks working their magic. They are very friendly and keen to help you with your order. Also, they do have quite a few nigiris outside of the menu. We got the fatty tuna with Wagyu fat that was to die for. They have a good variety of dishes, although we focused heavily on the fusion nigiris, which tends to be our preference. You can't really go wrong with anything, in fact you might need to repeat a few of them. The place is quite nice, although maybe not as fancy as something like Sushi 99. However, in terms of experience, sitting at the bar is hard to beat. It's a strong contender for best sushi in Madrid.

One of the best Japanish fusion cuisines currently in Madrid. With a Kyotian staging and Nigiris which could well be hanging on any of the citi’s museums. We loved the Toro, Eel and flamed salmon ones in particular. But the jewel of the crown would definitely be the Spanish Paella “Socarrat” Nigiri with white shrimp – you’ll want to leave them out of stock on this one. Price wise it’s true that it’s upper range (60-70/PAX with wine) but worth every single €.

La Ancha es un restaurante de cocina asturiana tradicional cerca de Sol. El local tiene una bonita decoración y admiten reservas. El servicio es bueno y son rápidos. La comida se compone de platos tradicionales, entrantes, pescados, carnes o guisos. La comida me gustó en general, aunque me pareció algo pesada. La tortilla guisada con almejas me gustó en particular. El precio medio fue de 43 euros por persona con una relación calidad-precio correcta. Es un buen sitio para ir por el ambiente y servicio pero la comida es algo normal para el precio.

Restaurante de comida tradicional situado muy cerca de sol, por lo que tiene muy buena conexión para ir en transporte público. Si quieres ir en coche, hay un parking a 5 minutos. Muy buen ambiente, un trato inmejorable y muy adecuado, rápidos y muy atentos. La comida está muy buena, un restaurante al que hemos venido por segunda vez, sobre todo por sus entrantes, cada uno mejor que el anterior. Seguro volveremos a repetir. El precio por persona es de unos 40€ contando con bebida, entrantes, plato principal y postre.

Fuimos 7 amigos a cenar y, en general, la comida estuvo bien. Empezamos con tortilla, croquetas y alcachofas, y luego probamos carrillera, escalope Armando y pisto con huevo: todo correcto y bien preparado. De postre pedimos tarta de queso (ojo!! que lleva queso de cabra!!) y leche frita, que me pareció un poco dulce para mi gusto. El punto negativo es la relación calidad-precio: me resultó algo caro, sobre todo por el pan y el servicio, y además nos cobraron tres chupitos a 4 € cada uno, lo cual me pareció un detalle poco acertado.

El servicio y el ambiente es excepcional. Los precios son muy caros pero ya los pagas por el trato. El escalope Armand me esperaba más, es finito y no deja de ser pollo rebozado a 30€. Los calamares creo que es pota porque es muy duro. El postre mousse de chocolate con helado el contraste estuvo muy bien

Honestly it’s good, but not excellent. I had 2 10/10 dishes which were the ponzu fatty tuna nigiri and the hazelnut motchi - which were absolutely to die for I had to order two more straight after. Most of the dishes were lacking salt in my opinion, but that’s all. It could have been 10/10 with just a tiny sprinkle more of salt. I probably would only return to eat the motchi as I’ve never experienced anything like that before - MUST!

Excellent restaurant, focused on Spanish cuisine with Japanese techniques. Do not miss the Nigiri Socarrat with Shrimp and Mussels with Umiko Sauce, even though Tuna Bolognese looks tempting, Skip it, is not worthy. Look closely to the check since the waiter added 7 extra champagne cups in ours that we did not ask for. Excelent atmosphere and design

I had the chance to sit on the bar and chat with the chefs. They’re great guys and their talent is unique, full on creativity here. I was unsure about the fusion tag to be honest, but the concept works, and works great actually. It’s not cheap, specially if you go nuts on Sake like our party did. But worth the visit if you’re into quality omakase and sushi in good sushi in general. The quality of the ingredients is top notch. Good and friendly staff. Overall a great experience.

For food alone, this place gets five stars. The limited selection of sake and the constant instructions from the staff ("eat with your fingers, in this order"...) made me feel like somehow they might have thought I'd never eaten before. I'm sure it was all with the best if intentions and other customers seemed happy. In my own, dinner with wine set me back about 90 Euros. It's not cheap, but the food really was excellent.

An interesting, although very expensive experience. The place is nice with a good atmosphere. A bit noisy, in my opinion. Crowded, and with ambient music it wasn't nice to keep a conversation at all times. The entrance is different, all in white and bright and shiny as a waiting area but also for casual dining. The food was good, but not spectacular in my opinion. Creative and a bit different than the typical japanese, and perhaps because it didn't strike me that much. I got this place recommended but didn't quite meet my expectations. Not sure I'll repeat, but least to say this restaurant is surely great for others.

Interesting Japanese fusion. Some plates were a small representation of bigger plates like arroz a la cubana and very delicious although we had a hard time with the waiters due to some of them not even remembering the ingredients that each plate had or mistaking plates and giving them to other customers more than once. We spotted the waiters standing and talking quite a few times while we had asked for the bill and had to wait half an hour to receive it and waiting the same or longer to be served as well. Me and my partner left very much later than we intended to due to these inconveniences. Overall good food but poor service.

Food is very delicious and unique. Definitely quality food and well prepared. The place is clean and the ambiance is cool. It's would be a good place for a first date. However, like some of the low star rating, the food is very expensive for the amount of portions. We ate 5 palm size portions for 60 euros. I would recommend trying this place once when someone is not hungry and only after the flavors. I do not think this place is good to visit multiple times because it would just be a waste of money. There are more affordable and great places around. The staff is proper and the service is adequate. Wait for food is a bit slow but its reflected on the presentation of the food. Also, they dont have English menu. It was difficult to order even with my limited Spanish knowledge.

Visitamos este restaurante con expectativas, pero la experiencia estuvo marcada por varios problemas de organización y servicio. Desde el inicio, notamos una mala gestión en la recepción. Se forman aglomeraciones en la entrada, quizás por un diseño inadecuado del local, pero lo peor fue cuando observamos cierta tensión del personal al lidiar con clientes molestos por la espera. Una vez sentados, el servicio fue muy lento. Tardaron 25 minutos simplemente en acercarse a nuestra mesa para traer la carta y ofrecer bebidas. Este tiempo de espera inicial no es aceptable. En cuanto a la comida: La calidad y el sabor del tomate en nuestro plato fueron realmente increíbles, sin embargo, los platos son pequeños para el precio que tienen Además, hubo fallos en la ejecución, los pimientos que acompañaban el solomillo estaban crudos y, en general, la temperatura de los platos estaba algo fría, como si hubieran esperado demasiado antes de servirlos. En conclusión, aunque hay materia prima de calidad, los problemas estructurales de gestión, el servicio lento y los fallos en la cocina, hacen que la experiencia global no esté a la altura del precio que cobran.
