I honestly had such a great experience at Denny’s. The food was so good and came out fresh and hot, exactly how I like it. Everything tasted comforting and hit the spot. What really made it even better though was the service — the staff was super friendly, welcoming, and checked on us without being overbearing. You can tell they actually care about their customers. The whole vibe was relaxed and enjoyable, and it made the meal feel even better. Definitely left happy and would 100% come back.

I don't usually leave reviews, but after my recent visit to Denny’s, I felt compelled to share what a great experience I had—largely thanks to our incredible server, Kaylee. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and a friendly welcome. The atmosphere at this Denny’s was relaxed and inviting, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service we received throughout our meal. Kaylee was simply phenomenal. She was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely kind. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and truly cares about her customers. She made sure our drinks were always full, checked in at just the right times, and handled every part of our visit with a level of professionalism and warmth you don’t always find in casual dining. We had a few dietary requests and some customizations with our orders, and Kaylee handled everything perfectly—no mistakes, no confusion, just seamless service. She even made a few helpful suggestions (her recommendation for the new build-your-own Grand Slam combo was spot-on!) and took the time to make sure our food came out just the way we wanted it. The food itself was exactly what you’d hope for at Denny’s—hot, fresh, and satisfying. I had the Country-Fried Steak & Eggs, and it was cooked to perfection. My companion had the Moons Over My Hammy and said it was one of the best he’s had in years. The kitchen clearly did a great job, and it made the whole experience even better. What really impressed me, though, was how Kaylee balanced everything. She had several tables at once, yet she made each guest feel like a priority. Even with a busy dining room, she remained upbeat, efficient, and never once seemed flustered. That kind of calm, professional energy makes such a difference in a dining experience. In a world where good service can sometimes feel like a rarity, Kaylee stands out as an absolute gem. Denny’s is lucky to have her on their team, and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. If you’re thinking of heading to Denny’s for a good meal and want to be treated with genuine care and attention, ask for Kaylee if she’s working. She’ll make your visit that much better. We’ll definitely be back!

I had such a great experience at Denny’s recently, and I have to give a special shoutout to our server, Kaylee. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional. She made sure our drinks were always full, our orders were correct, and even gave great recommendations from the menu. The food came out hot and exactly how we ordered it. I had the Country-Fried Steak & Eggs, and it was delicious. My friend had the Moons Over My Hammy and loved it too. The kitchen did a great job, but Kaylee truly made the experience stand out. Even though she had several tables, Kaylee never missed a beat. She checked in at the perfect times and made us feel genuinely welcome. You can tell she cares about her job and her customers. Terrible service. The waiter seemed to be in a bad mood, I don't know why. The coffee was cold and had debris in it, and it was served poorly in a dirty cup. Simply awful. The meat was undercooked, the potatoes were spoiled. I'm never coming back to Denny's, especially because of the terrible service from the person who served us. He didn't apologize, he wasn't friendly, he simply didn't care that the food was in bad condition.I think his name was Juan or Jose R.

I only put in one star because I couldn't put in zero stars. Went there for Christmas lunch today with my sister. Very very disappointed. When we arrived we were told it'd be a 10-minute wait. 40 minutes later, still standing here with numerous others that arrived before and after we did. Some came in and turn right around and left because they were obviously not going to wait. We saw one table get seated while we were here right after we arrived. The fact that we had to wait at all at a freaking denny's, so what that it was Christmas Day, is beyond me as I've never had a way to edit Denny's before. We decided to leave after 40 minutes can we went to Burger King where we got our food right away. We got tired of waiting. Nine tables emptied out while we were waiting, and they seated absolutely NOBODY after that occurred. Don't know what the problem was, but management is solely to blame for that and it was absolutely terrible management. It's no surprise that several Denny's locations in the Houston area has closed down if this is the type of management they're going to hire! We will not be back here for Christmas that's for sure, and who knows if we'll be back here again at all if this is the type of management that's running the place. It's no wonder that the other Denny's location in The Woodlands closed down less than a year ago. It's no surprise that some Denny's locations in the Houston area have closed down probably due to the same management issues. You all better explain yourselves and it better be a good explanation as to why this happened on Christmas Day when you know lots of people choose to eat out because they don't feel like preparing an hours-long meal preparation when it's just two people like my sister and me. It would have been nice to hear something from the maitre d who is supposed to see people. She was quiet after talking to us. At least it said people down so they can start looking at the menu and have a beverage. Did you run out of food? Nothing says Christmas better than Burger king! Thanks a lot denny's, I'm losing faith in you 😡

I was really looking forward to a good Denny’s experience, but this visit left me disappointed. The bathrooms were old and run down, and the kitchen noise was loud enough to be distracting in the seating area. The food took quite a while to arrive, and when it did, it was underwhelming my chicken fried chicken actually smelled and tasted like cigarette smoke. The service was kind, and I appreciated the effort from our server, but unfortunately it didn’t make up for the overall experience. To top it off, we were charged incorrectly. All in all, it was a frustrating visit, and I hope it’s not the norm for this location.

Ughhh don’t think I’ll ever go back. Our food for 3 was brought out basically one plate at a time per person leaving 15 to 20 minutes in between all three of us. So the ticket time for us all to get our food is probably about an hour. Apparently the printer was broken for the cooks in the back they gave us a $10 deduction off of our bill but I’m ever gonna go back here ever again. My sandwich was falling apart because everything was cut so thick and I don’t know it just wasn’t good at all . Plus the whole place is kind of gross and they have carpet who has carpet in a restaurant these days - gross
