Entramos por casualidad pero súper bien. Con el refresco te ponen una tapa, estilo Granada. En una de las fotos se puede ver la variedad, yo pedí bolitas de zanahorias y queso, estaban deliciosas. La paella no estaba mal, pero como paella pues no. Era arroz con carne en buena cantidad y bueno. El local es muy bonito y limpio. La atención de los trabajadores muy buena. Están muy atentos a ti.

Popped in for a few tapas and drinks and were blown away by the quality! The tuna tartare and mashed avocado, and squid ink and garlic prawn croquetas were astonishing. As was my white sangria. The staff were lovely and I appreciated that they responded to my (very basic) Spanish with Spanish. We tried to go back the following evening but it was booked up, so plan ahead!

We had such a fantastic experience at D’Platos Málaga! We tried the assorted croquetas, the octopus with vegetables, and the lomo bajo laguno — all of which were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. What really made the evening special, though, was the service. Nacho was attentive and friendly throughout, and Carol—who, like us, is Portuguese—made us feel right at home. Their kindness and professionalism turned a great meal into an unforgettable night. Highly recommended!

As soon as you walk into the restaurant, you feel genuinely welcomed. I chose to sit outside to people-watch and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Málaga. Kevin, my waiter, was incredibly warm and attentive, making the experience even better. Both the service and the food were flawless. I enjoyed it so much that I came back the following night. The first evening, I had the patacones with chicken and guacamole—absolutely delicious. The next day, I tried a ham croqueta that practically melted in my mouth. I will definitely return!!!!

We arrived in Malaga in the evening and had a lovely diner outside in the sun without reservation at D’ Platos with all kinds of (larger) tapas. Most of the tapas were exquisite (assortiment of croquettas). We completed the diner with a lovely chocolate dream and oreo pie!

The rest of the table opted for sangria, a quintessentially Iberian indulgence, its fruit-laden sweetness balancing the warmth of the night. The meal unfolded with a plate of potatoes and asparagus, the standout dish of the evening. Perfectly seasoned and generously portioned, it was a reminder that simplicity, when executed with care, often triumphs over complexity. The croquettes—stuffed with chicken and shrimp—offered a familiar comfort, crisp on the outside, creamy within. But dining at De Plato was about more than just the food. The evening stretched as we lingered over drinks, watching street performers animate the square with the fluidity of practiced spontaneity. At one point, a man approached, his Spanish beyond our comprehension, but his request—hot chocolate—was clear. It was an unusual ask, one that seemed to capture the city’s charm: unexpected, warm, and slightly surreal. Service in Spain operates on a different tempo. It is neither inattentive nor hurried, but rather a reflection of a culture that sees meals as occasions, not transactions. Adjusting to this pace takes patience, but on a mild Andalusian night, beneath the glow of Málaga’s streetlights, it felt like time well spent.

It was very accidentally visit as my phone was completely dead and I needed the charger and a refreshment. The waiter offered me to sit inside and to use the socket. Then the very pleasant waiter Mohammad recommended me the tapas and the home made dessert. I enjoyed each single bite of all both. Also I was pleased with a good quoted in the menu. La atención fue muy buena. La comida, normal. No recomiendo la ensaladilla, era bastante patata (para mi gusto). Las croquetas de tinta de calamar, muy ricas. La berenjena un poco grasienta.

Fue muy agradable sentarnos en esta terraza los dias que estuvimos en Malaga, en pleno centro justo a unos metros del Museo de Picasso, las atenciones Top por parte de Nacho, Kelvin y otro mesero Español que no recuendo su nombre. Ordenamos platos para picar mis favoritos fueron los Patacones, en general fue todo muy bueno.

Después de una experiencia en otro local pasamos por la puerta y decidimos probar suerte. Enseguida nos atendieron y nos dieron a elegir entre mesas altas o bajas en el piso de arriba. Elegimos las segundas. Nos acompañaron hasta allí y nos acomodaron con total amabilidad. Pedimos un entrante y un plato de surtido de carnes para compartir. El trato del personal estupendo, la comida bastante rápida. Con las bebidas nos sirvieron un aperitivo. Todo muy rico. Sin duda volveremos pronto

Servicio rápido, agradable y atento. Comida rica, original, casera, no estaba mal. De entrantes pedimos surtido de croquetas, que estaban crujientes por fuera y cremosas por dentro, muy buenas. Unos bastones de berenjena con salmorejo muy original y rico. Y queso camembert frito con mermelada, bastante buenos. Los segundos tardaron bastante en llegar, pedimos, presa ibérica, pulpo con verduras (blandito y muy sabroso), bao con atún (de mis favoritos), tartar con atún y aguacate, una hamburguesa de buey y una de cordero (la cual no sabía a cordero y era como un kebab en definitiva), wok de verduras con langostinos, … Cantidades adecuadas y precios más o menos ajustados, destaco lo frescas y sabrosas que estaban las verduras que acompañaban cada plato, hechas a la brasa o a la plancha, muy buenas. De postre culminamos con una tarta de queso y una de zanahoria exquisitas. Experiencia cómoda y recomendable. No es mi sitio favorito, pero volvería.

A destacar la amabilidad de la chica que nos atendió, creo que su nombre es Belén. El ambiente es muy bonito y además tiene terraza. Ahora de las tapas gourmet solo me gustaron las croquetas y el patacón. Lo demás deja mucho que desear, los crujientes de Wan Tun tenían una salsa insípida y para mí fue el peor plato de los que probamos. El sitio tiene buenas reseñas, espero solo hayan tenido un mal dia.

Vinimos a comer sin reserva en un domingo de ramos. Nos atendieron muy bien, nos pusieron una pequeña tapa con la bebida. Probamos la tapa de risotto, el solomillo, los patacones y los dados de queso. Todo estaba muy rico, pero las cantidades son mínimas, hay que pedir 2 o 3 tapas por persona para comer.. y el precio es de ración. Lo más rico, el tartar de atún. Los fingers de pollo con un frito muy basto, muy grueso.

El arroz ciego sin gusto (parece arroz hervido), el pulpo duro pero el lugar excepcional con una excelente atención. Pd: mini postres muy caros. Te dejan con ganas de solo mirarlos. No pedimos por ese motivo.

El servicio del local es lo único que lo salva, nos atendió Nacho y muy bien pero por lo demás… la comida no estuvo muy allá, la tortilla sin gracia y sin sal, las alitas que no salen en foto tampoco estuvieron bien. Quizá fue lo que pedimos que no nos gustó mucho pero como digo el servicio si fue muy bueno!!!
