El sitio pequeñito pero acogedor, la comida riquísima y la atención inmejorable. Mis amigos y yo lo escogimos como plan de última hora antes de volver hasta el aeropuerto y no nos pudimos llevar una mejor experiencia de comer por el centro de Málaga.

Pequeño y coqueto restaurante ubicado en el centro de Málaga. Tiene una pequeña sala interior y varias mesas para dos en la calle que confluye con otras callejuelas. Se nota que es un restaurante familiar que ofrece una carta pequeña pero exquisita. Se ve que ponen cariño y entrega en sus creaciones. Ojalá no pierdan esa esencia y tengan mucha suerte. La pata de pulpo, de buen tamaño, estaba exquisita, muy tierna. La ensaladilla y la berenjena rellena muy buenas también. Volveremos!

Justo en la plaza chinitas Comida de amigos un día de calor, y aquí estuvimos súper bien pq es un restaurante pequeño pero se está cómodo y fresquito La comida espectacular. Relación calidad precio súper bien. Nos aconsejaron algunos platos y no se equivocaron, todos los que fuimos coincidimos súper bueno y muy bien presentado los platos. El más impresionante restaurante boutique de Málaga centro. La comida es magnífica, los tragos espectaculares y la atmósfera es tranquila a pesar de que está a una cuadra de la plaza de la constitución. Desde las entradas hasta los postres: la sangría, el vino de verano, los langostinos pil pil, las bravas, el entrecôte, la tarta Santiago … todo es increíble. Reservar fue muy fácil y el servicio es muy atento. Felicidades!!!

Me gustó mucho el lugar, es pequeño pero acogedor, las mesas afuera son muy agradables. Las mejores croquetas de jamón que he comido por estos días y la atenta atención de Juan, se puede ver la cocina y se ve muy limpia. Lo único que sugiero a mejorar es que solo hay una persona sirviendo mesas y pues se nota un poco lo ocupados que estan!

La Canasta in Málaga is an absolute must visit. Excellent coffee, perfectly brewed, and a wonderful selection of fresh pastries and cakes that pair beautifully with it. The quality, taste, and atmosphere make this place truly special. I highly recommend stopping here if you’re in Málaga you won’t regret it.

We went here because it was close to our apartment where we arrived late in the evening. Supper of filled baguettes and a glass of cava sparkling. Just what we needed. Nice busy atmosphere during lunch. Luckily we got a table outside. Friendly waiter and fast service. The food was good. I had the roast beef sandwhich, which was loaded. I also enjoyed the good morning smoothie. We also bought some rosco de vinos and tasted the bocacherros. I liked the one with apples the most.

We found this place on our 2nd day in Málaga and visited it 3 times while staying about 5km away. What a find. The food is absolutely delicious, the beef and caramelised onion sandwich is heavenly and the strawberry tart is just sublime. Highly recommend this place.😋

I tried Pío X dulce, it’s a classic local sweet in malaga, super soft and creamy with coconut touch,so good. I also tried their entrepán with avocado, and it was fresh and delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

The location is very good, close to the beach and the hostel where we stayed. The staff is typically Spanish, mostly speaking only Spanish or limited English. The food is excellent. We had two muesli bowls, and they were great, as well as the sandwiches. I recommend trying the guacamole and fresh cheese sandwich - number 23. Perfect! The coffee is average, nothing special. The only downside is that the place is a bit dirty and messy.

The coffee was excellent and orange cake was truly delicious - fresh, well balanced, and definitely worth trying. You can tell the bakery cares about quality. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow. I waited a long time for my order and had to ask twice for my coffee, which took away from the overall experience. We had lunch here. The selection of meals and drinks are great, everyone should something for themselves. The food came fast and was pretty good, but more home style. The service was okay, just a bit time to get waiters attention. Also sweets, meat, cheese and other is available to purchase and take away. The cafeteria is big, a bit cold, as the wind blows through the doors, atmosphere more like a school canteen than a restaurant. But very appropriate for a quick, higher quality and pretty cheap meal with family. Overall recommend for a family lunch before visiting the city!!

Let me be blunt. The food I ate was good, and the interior of the restaurant is lovely. The big problem seems to be that there is just a pigeon in here, and none of the staff seem to care at all. He has just been walking around pooping and pecking at stuff for the better part of an hour. Severely hindering my experience here. The food can be good, we went ~12 times at 3 different locations, but 80% at a single location. (Near La malagueta). Coffee is good quality. Location is fine, outside you have a lot of traffic, but you can sit outside and inside. The food is pretty good, but it comes with one single problem. The staff is really lazy. You order cappuccino, it comes standard with chocolate, we had it at least once every visit. And 20% had chocolate, you have to ask to get it. Even asking for it with the initial order: still don't get it at first. Multiply this with every other dish, and it becomes bothersome. One dish comes with chimichurri (simple salsa), one day they just made the sandwich without its signature ingrediënt. Not telling us beforehand, I asked for it and they tell me they don't have it anymore(?), that was the last time we went. We loved the pork campero, but every edition had a different taste, every time, missing some ingredient stated on the menu, cold meat, wrong meat. Etc etc. This could be just this location, at other locations it all went like ordered. But we only went to 2 other locations and fewer times never ordered the same things. It's a shame, the food, on paper, is great but the actual products vary vastly. La canasta needs some quality control. The prices are cheap~ish, so try it out yourself. It's almost fast food, but healthier and better ingredients. Good for a simple lunch, and coffee. postscriptum Don't get a croissant, looks great, tastes meh.

Charming cafe / bakery recommended to us by our tour guide. Pace of service is as usual with Malaga. Don't come here starving. Food: Cappuccino we had was beautiful and excellent. Napolitana pastry is good. Chocolate Croissant is regular Croissants with Nutella. I don't believe that pastries here is any different from other bakeries in town. Sandwiches, Salads and Wines are also available. Service: Service is same as all of Malaga. No rush with ordering, wait and payment. Order pastries to-go for expedited service. Ambiance: Seating available inside and on the streets. Just find your spot and patiently wait for camareros for service. Value: Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service. Hot drinks at 3 Euros, Pastries 1 - 2 Euros. I still recommend La Canasta to try traditional pastries. Having them to-go would be better if you prefer faster service.

Seemingly a chain of coffee and cake shops albeit they do food as well. Coffee good and the chocolate cake I had was to die for (been back every day). Reason for the lower rating was : 1. Entramos a tomar algo en este local debido al sitio tan bonito con el cruce de calles. Una vez que nos sentamos miramos las reseñas y vimos que tenían una gran nota y decidimos probar que tal se cenaba. Pedimos salmorejo ( salado) a lo que se lo digo al camarero y no le gusta la crítica dejamos la mitad porqué no se podía comer al estar tan salado y escaso de huevos y jamón . Luego unas croquetas de boletus que eran de champiñones. Y finalmente pedimos una lasaña,más de 40min esperando por ella además que no era gran cosa en cuanto a sabor nada reseñable y muy poco recomendable debido a la poca calidad de los platos, tardanza y servicio deficiente.

The bread at this restaurant is good, but the female waitress had a terrible attitude. We ordered a glass of water — it would’ve only taken her to bring a cup and a bottled water — yet we waited for over half an hour without getting it. She didn’t bring the water until we were already ready to leave. Ours were the only Asian faces in the entire restaurant, and it’s hard for us not to suspect this was discrimination.
