Pretty good chicken tenders and fries. The bun on the chicken sandwich tasted like a sweet bread. Prefer a regular bun! Great service. Clean and efficient!

Golden Chick is my favorite chicken. The staff at the Mansfield TX location always have good customer service. The other day I went and ordered the $6 box with a fried leg and thigh. They had no thighs available. So I asked if I could substitute a different piece, I was told no the management would not allow that. Usually the manager will allow substitutions if they don't have the piece of chicken that you want but they have a new manager and she does not allow it. So I had to just order the 2 piece meal, which was more money. This was bad customer service anyway you look at it. I asked for the manager's name (Milbia) because I wanted to put a review about the bad customer service. I have been going to this restaurant since it was built in my neighborhood. I have never incurred such bad customer service. It is not the customer's fault if they don't have the piece of chicken that the customer request. It takes about 20 minutes for the chicken to be ready and I could not wait that long. I have never incurred this treatment with other managers. I hope that the customer service will improve because we don't like to support businesses with bad customer service.

I ordered lemon pepper wings. I was surprised, they came out hot and very good. I was told they had been made 30 minutes ago Waited in drive though for over 10 minutes. There was only one car ahead of me.

Now normally when we go there it is fire. Hot and fresh but this time I don't know what was going on. Food was mid. We shall return but will proceed with caution. The drive thru person was super nice and we appreciated her good attitude.

Service was quick and accurate. I give my chicken 3 stars because it was a little dry but well seasoned. I would've preferred gravy on the side of my mashed potatoes instead of top but didn't know that was an option I needed to remove. I would go back, the restaurant was clean and so was the restroom. My husband ordered the fried catfish and loved it.

No matter how fast service is in the drive-thru line, the customer's experience doesn't end until the meal is served. I checked my order before leaving and noticed the requested and not free condiments were not included in the order. No big deal. I'll just go inside and get it. Well, clearly, customers waiting to be served at the counter is not a priority. I waited at the counter for at least 5 minutes before I decided to try to get someone's attention. By this time, the young lady covering the counter appeared. Ridiculous. To top it all off, the hubs didn't like the catfish. My shrimp was fine, but we won't try seafood here again.

I see most the reviews are positive and I don’t doubt that this place has good service. I never have a problem with the service. Maybe it’s just my luck but every time I come here they are always out of SOMETHING. Could be out of rolls, using backup fries, or backup tenders and doesn’t taste like original golden chick. I don’t know. The employees are fine though. Just sad I can never enjoy a complete meal.

Food took 20 minutes, and they were old. Service level was next to zero. There were a couple of guys just hanging out at the dining area talking loud the entire time i was there...

The day was December 15th 2025 and the Tim was 10:35. I was waiting for over 10 mins. He passed by and saw that I was recording. So he acted like his head set died. He was acting like it doesn't even matter and he insulted me. There was a guy that was behind me and he said they ignored him when he was at the door while they pretended to look away and clean.

The people were friendly, but the food was very funky.It was fresh, but it tastes really bad like they used adobo on it.I paid twenty one dollars and sixty five cents for it, and no one in my family wanted to really eat.It's set on the stove for 3 days. Whatever type of seasoning they use, it's horrible.And by the way, I ordered mine plain and it still had some type of funky type of seasoning on it.I would not be going back. I tried it many years ago.And it was good, but maybe it's just this location.But I don't want to take a chance again with my money, so I don't recommend it.
