My family of eight dined at Crave yesterday 8 September 2024. The service was excellent as was the food. My wife and I shared the Walleye which was delicious. Two had sushi, my son had the wedge salad, grandsons had burgers which were huge. We had four of us with birthdays at the table and the staff served us ice cream with a brownie and a flaming candle. Great place to take your family to enjoy a great meal in a great atmosphere. Highly recommend this eating establishment

Food wise the Vegan Truffle Fries are incredible! The dipping sauce that comes with it is so good. The Vegan Crave Roll was amazing too! Very filling and tasty. I also got the Vegan Stir Fry and it was also very good. The service is just as good as the food. They are very friendly aswell.

The vibe and decorations were AMAZING! I had the Wagyu Burger and it was the juiciest burger that I have ever had the delight of eating. For dessert I had the S’mores Brownie with Rocky Road ice cream and it was delicious! For a server we had Brian, who was very kind.

Came for lunch with my 4 yo daughter. Didn't wait long to be seated. The manager sat us. I got the Bamboo roll and the spicy salmon roll. Both were absolutely amazing! Shout out to the sushi chefs! My daughter got the kid's cheeseburger meal with fries. Bread and a cup of fruit came complimentary. Our server, Deni, was so sweet. She recommended their newest sauvignon blanc to pair with my sushi. Let me just say, wow. It was so fresh and crisp. My daughter got the strawberry lemonade. She said it was the best she's ever had! I completed the survey on the receipt for $10 off a $30 future purchase. Deni asked if I wanted to apply that $10 code for today's purchase. I didn't know that was possible! I was so surprised and grateful! She was very attentive to us during our meal. I even signed up for the loyalty program. Servers like her really make the experience enjoyable. I would def ask to be seated in her section next time!

Had one of the best full 3 course meal I've had in quite some time. I didn't think I liked sushi that much until I had it here. Would definitely come back its a great place for a nice lunch

We love the rooftop in the summer and appreciate how well they take care of dietary issues for sensitivities and allergies. The managers and servers are always happy to talk with the chefs and they take special precautions. When dining inside, it can be pretty loud if seated in the booths by the kitchen so I recommend asking to sit by the windows.

I love eating at this location in Maple Grove. I love the staff and there are so many great options on the menu, and the drinks are amazing!!!

This place is great! It's a bit on the pricy side but worth every penny for the quality of food and service that you get. We will be back again soon!

The food was so amazing. I had the lemon garlic chicken. (Picture with black plate) It was so tasty. Hope to eat here again

Everyone loved the food and we had everything from salads, hamburgers (Waygu!) and of course sushi. drinks and desserts top notch as well. only thing was all the food but the sushi came out then it was a bit of a wait for that part of the meal (10 mins). Not sure why. Atmosphere was good for a mid-day meal, but i imagine it could be a bit mound in evening. Service was great, again except for the sushi delay.

The Godzilla roll was phenomenal, easily among the best sushi I’ve ever tasted. The Goddess salad was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. My husband ordered a burger and gave it a solid thumbs-up, calling it very good. Customer service was excellent, will be back!

Happy Hour is always great! The Spicy Strawberry Mocktail was a hit and the firecracker shrimp is always my go to appetizer and the Parmesan fries was tantalizing to my taste buds. During the non happy hour my go to meal is the Lobster Mac and Cheese and firecracker 🍤 as my appetizer.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a 20-year food service industry professional and critic, I don’t give 5 stars lightly — but Crave Maple Grove absolutely earned it. The moment I stepped in, I was welcomed with a great atmosphere and exceptional service. What truly blew me away was the food — bold flavors, perfect textures, and top-tier presentation. The sushi was incredibly fresh and well-crafted — easily rivaling high-end spots. The meatballs were juicy, rich, and full of depth. And don’t even get me started on the Parmesan fries — crispy, flavorful, and completely addictive. Every bite showed care, creativity, and culinary skill. Crave is the kind of place that reminds you why you fell in love with food in the first place. Whether you’re a fellow industry vet or just someone who loves great food, this is a must-visit. Highly recommend — and yes, I’ll absolutely be back.

My experience at crave was wonderful. I had a couple of vegetarian guests and they were very impressed as they had a separate menu for dietary restrictions. The flatbreads were well made, super thin and felt light to the stomach. The sushi tasted awesome as well. I would recommend the Japanese sweet bread and the truffle fries are a must. The service was great and the food was brought promptly. The decor of the restaurant is simple but feels upscale. Overall it's a great restaurant and would serve well for business meals.

Took my family to CRAVE in Maple Grove to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. and had an amazing experience. This was definitely a 5-star visit! We were greeted and seated right away, and the service was friendly and efficient. I had the rigatoni with vodka sauce, perfect portion with a delicious kick of spice. My husband got the Thai steak, which came out more well-done than requested, but our daughter loved it, and the crispy rice was unique! The rice had a crispy top layer, which even though it wasn’t our personal favorite texture, it didn’t take away from the flavor or the quality of the dish. I also got my go-to favorite, the Bamboo Bite sushi roll. The jalapeño and cream cheese perfection. A must try! The kids’ menu really impressed me! I love how many options and the sides it comes with. This was not just basic kids’ fare. My girls had the mac and cheese, and it was amazing! Not your average, out-of-the-box mac. This one came with Cavatappi noodles and had a creamy, rich flavor that even I couldn’t resist stealing a few bites of. We ended the night with a pineapple mojito and blueberry lemonade, both super refreshing. Highly recommend CRAVE for great food, service, and a family-friendly vibe. We’ll definitely be back!

By far the BEST dinning experience I've had in a long time. Menu has something for any pallette, cocktails where one point. Our server Jonah was attentive. In my opinion the pricing makes Crave a "special occasion" restaurant. Certainly will be going back!

This review is long overdue but the service, atmosphere and food were so good I wanted to put in my 2 cents! We stopped in on a Saturday with a party of 8, Feb 2023, to celebrate two birthdays. The staff was attentive and brought out two desserts to share. I'll post pictures of the food but cannot caption the photos since the names escape me. We can heartily recommend Crave for a special occasion!

We have been to quite a few of the Crave's in the area, but this one has a really nice outdoor deck upstairs. We stopped in around 8pm on Saturday and did not have to wait to be seated, outside or inside. The service was good. We received our drink and food orders pretty quick. The food came out fresh, like usual. I had the Bison Burger this time which was good, but the bison patty did taste a bit drier than I would normally prefer. Overall, it's a great spot with many options, including Sushi. Also a great spot to sit outside during those nice days. They do also have hearers outside that they can turn on in case it cools down.

Looove Crave!! Firecracker shrimp is AMAZING as well as the truffle fries, but the coconut cake is what calls us in & we'll come back for EVERY time!! Absolutely the best servers out there!!!

My work went here for a private party in their party room. It was top notch. The staff was all friendly and quick to help us. The food was delicious. I had the chicken stir fry it was so good. The best part was the chocolate cake. I personally don't like chocolate cake... But I loved theirs 🤤

I've been to many Crave's, but not the one in Maple Grove. An updated food menu was filled with delightful dishes. My guests and I enjoyed a lovely lunch, in a quiet, clean and cozy space.

Stopped by while shopping in the area. It was great. We ordered from a pre fixed menu. Service was awesome. The sushi was surprisingly the star of the show.

Mostly it was pretty flawless. Our waiter was the bar tender. He was pretty good. Was always making sure we had enough. Food was good but not outstanding. But good enough to return. Avocado was a little brown. Limited menu. Was greeted by manager upon arrival.

Here’s a NED-style review for CRAVE Food & Drink - Maple Grove: --- ✅ What Works Well - Trendy, vibrant atmosphere with stylish decor. - Extensive menu offering diverse American and global-inspired dishes. - Excellent cocktails and craft beer options. - Great for groups with a lively, upbeat vibe. - Generous portions and flavorful meals. --- 👎 What to Watch Out For - Can get noisy during busy times, less ideal for quiet conversations. - Wait times can be long on weekends. - Some dishes are hit or miss depending on personal taste. --- 🎯 Verdict CRAVE is a fun, bustling spot perfect for social dining and drinks, with a menu that mostly delivers. Great for a night out with friends. Rating: 4.1 / 5 ---

My partner and I went to Crave for our date from yesterday. Those dishes not that bad. I didn’t realize Ribeye steak is a lot fat and nothing meat on it. Potatoes cake can do better than that. Coconut cake is the bomb! Love it! My partner say lemon chicken garlic need more sauce on the top overall really good.

I have been to several crave locations and the esthetics of this one is really nice. It looks more upscale and was very clean. Suprisingly it was not busy on a saturday afternoon so there was no wait. Our server was great, polite, attentive and nice. The food was very good but we did notice the change in size for the flatbread pizzas. They are now the size of a personal pan pizza but the size of the buffalo shrimp were so big and so good. I do also notice that there is a common theme among the restaurants which is flies and fruit flies by the bar but not as bad as other locations. Other than those things our lunch was great. Definitely be back.

Stopped by for HH with a friend. We ordered the firecracker shrimp, the crunchy roll and the sticky ribs. The ribs were my favorite. The meat was tender and fell right off the bones. It was sweet with some peppers if you wanted a little spice. The crunchy roll was pretty good. The firecracker shrimp was ok.

Food is good. Staff is very friendly. Bathrooms are clean. Nothing stood out as amazing for the price. Its expensive for what you get. Wait time could be faster.... They were not spacing people out with covid-19 which was concerning. People should have been in every other booth but they were all next to each other & then a bunch of empty ones. Keeping customers safe should be their #1 priority.

I love coming here for date nights or lunch with family and friends. It's a nice atmosphere. I really like that they have vegetarian and gluten sensitive portions in the menu. They have a large wine list and specialty cocktails. As someone who like cocktails, they also have a good selection of those! My favorite is the Bamboo Bite Roll and avocado rolls.

I cannot give an indept explanation as to the fact that I had placed my order online and picked it up. However, my food was ready upon arrival. And the meal that I ordered was very tasty

Only 4 stars because they only offer happy hour if you sit at the bar, what sense does that that make, except discourage me from stopping there after a day of shopping 🛍️…?

We came for Valentine’s dinner. Online it said you could order from the special valentines menu, but also the full menu would be available. I am gluten free and they have a great gluten sensitive menu, so I was excited to go. Got there and they said they did not have that whole menu, but I had to choose from the few items available that night. The three things I was debating between were not available. I understand it was a special night, but if the website says the full menu will still be available, it should be. Or at least items for those with dietary restrictions. Our server offered to box up our meals and didn’t not include the vegetables that came with my meals was disappointed when I opened the box to have the leftovers for lunch. Overall, service and food was good though.

My firecracker shrimp and burger where amazing, but the tiramisu was a let down. Tasted more like a store-bought chocolate cake with icing than a coffee-soaked cake with mascarpone. The 3 course meal was still a great value though, with plenty of other dessert options to try instead.

Going to be honest here on this one!!! Crave is supposed to be on the higher end and a little more fancy! I have never ever thought that of this restaurant! The food is mediocre nothing special! In my opinion for the price of the sushi I would eat at an all you can eat and get more for the buck!! But I will say it wasn't bad just not worth the price tag!!! But if you want a nice roof top hit this one up!!!

It was just ok. First, it’s very noisy with too-large of tables to easily chat. So not a great ambiance. The server was friendly but forgot about us after the one check-in after food. We needed to flag them down for the check. Second, the salmon salad was lovely and they split it in the kitchen for us which was perfect size but the spinach artichoke dip and bread were so salty they actually made my mouth hurt. They should be careful about that. Last, they charge normal high prices this day but get out with more than $5 for edamame. That’s crazy.

No one greeted us when we walked in-the girls were just standing around we had to confront them,. We were not offered any drinks, apps, or meals. Food took a long time and then tried to rush us out without offering dessert. It’s not our fault the food took so long. I said we wanted dessert and he said he didn’t think we could get any because the kitchen was closing soon . We were never notified we were on a time crunch. He then said we could get something but we had to make it fast. One of the main reasons we came in was for $100 dollar gift card/$25 bonus card. I asked the server Paolo a few days earlier when we were there for lunch if I could still get the deal on NYE evening when we come in for dinner. She said of course the deal is good through the end of the year. I went to purchase a $100 gift card and one of the managers said I could not get the bonus card because her manager earlier threw them away. I said that makes no sense because you have a big sign in the entry with the WR could that links you to the deal. However, I couldn’t buy it on there at that moment because the card does not instantly activate like it does right away in the restaurant. I asked what she could do for me since the deal was legitimately still valid and was advertised on there sign in the store and online. I again stated that was the main reason we came for the dinner was to buy and use the gift card that night plus get the bonus card for later. I don’t think we should be punished and miss out on the free $25 because some manager supposedly threw them away before the day was even done. We dropped almost $200 and come there often. I think we should be honored the card and I hope someone contacts me about this matter very soon. Very disappointing experience.

I like Crave in St. Louis Park (MN). That's where I usually go, but tried this MG location. It was disappointing. I ordered edamame for an appetizer. It was supposed to be covered with their signature sauce. The sauce didn't stick on the beans and it was tasteless. The tofu salad was very spicy because of the peppers and it was mainly just spring greens for $18...I don't even want to mention our server... All in all it was an overpriced, dissatisfaction. I won't come back to this place.

We came in today with the family (4 of us) on a Saturday around 1pm during MG's Chalk Fest. There was probably 5 other tables also dining with us so it wasn't too busy. Our server was a very nice young lady, she took our order and refilled our drinks. We ate our food. After eating, we requested our tab and gave her 2 gift cards + our credit card in case the gift cards didn't cover the bill. She came back with our second gift card explaining that the first gift card covered the cost BUT our credit card was missing. We told her and she said she'd retrieve it. shortly after, a manager came back explaining it was lost and to write our name and phone number so they can contact us once it was found... (???) We cancelled our card and left. 30 minutes later we got a text saying they found the card under our table which we knew it didn't fall there since we noticed right away. TLDR: The food was lovely, but our server lost our credit card :/

I ordered dinner to go, as well as a few drinks at the bar while waiting for my food. The bill (for one person) was over $100. The milk bread, while it tasted great, was slightly larger than a dinner role and was $12. Considering most restaurants offer bread baskets at no cost, this was excessive. My meal was very tasty, but again, not worth $27 for a Poke bowl. For atmosphere, I sat at the bar and did not have difficulty getting a seat on a Friday at 5 pm. However, the establishment as a whole was very loud, as the industrial vibe did not damper any sound. I honestly felt like I was sitting in a cafeteria. Also, the bar top has lights running through the wood. When I walked in, it initially looked like sunbeams reflecting off the wood. I quickly realized the top was lit. As someone who reads my phone at the bar, this backlight was extremely distracting. I tried several drinks while waiting for my food. A rail drink (vodka soda) was $10, though admittedly their rail was Tito's and what I would normally specify at other restaurants. Specialty drinks were $15-$17 each and were weak. I wouldn't recommend this place for drinks if you were expecting a strong martini or old fashioned. However, they do have quite a few creative N/A options, which is refreshing. The staff were very attentive - I was greeted immediately and offered water and both a food and drink menu. They checked on me throughout my visit and I never had an issue with getting service, ordering food, or closing my check. Overall, Crave feels like a place where you take clients (on a company expense account) but not worth the everyday cost.

L
Lynda Nwonye

The food was overcooked and under seasoned. I ordered a bison burger medium well and both times the burger came out well done. I’ll give it to the server he was patient but the service between getting the appetizers and the main course transition was horrible. We came out for my mother’s birthday party yesterday and I regret my sister picking this location.

First off. Service was great! I cannot complain about the service at all. Atmosphere was dated. Felt like a 90's wine boutique... Barf. We met some friends of ours to hang out and it was so loud, even when no one was there, that we had to yell. Turn the music down... The food was ok. They try to put their spin on food that should be left alone. Sushi did not have traditional sweet sushi rice and was rolled really loose, so it fell apart. They put carrots and leaf lettuce in a sushi roll. Non traditional. The carrots tasted like fermented dirt. Two rolls $40? I would rather eat gas station sushi or go to an all I can eat buffet. Chicken stir fry was decent. Not worth $26. Maybe $18? Calimari was decent. Probably the best thing we had. Terimisu was small. Like two bites. $104 before tip for two people. That's an appetizer, one dinner, two sushi rolls and a dessert. Not worth it. Not sure how they stay in business.

V
Vetrivelan Ramalingam

Food-wise, this place delivers — but the service completely ruined the experience. Our waitress disappeared midway through the meal, and after that we were essentially abandoned. No one checked on us, no water refills, no offer for a to-go box, and the staff avoided even making eye contact. It felt like we didn’t exist. Good food isn’t enough when basic hospitality is missing. I hope management addresses the staffing and table coverage, because the service right now is unacceptable.

We had such an enjoyable time dining at crave on valentines weekend, however, I ended up with terrible food poisoning that same evening. It was disappointing to experience from an establishment like Crave.

K
Kateryna Bahrych

This is an absolute disappointment. I ordered sushi, but it was a disaster. Some sushi was sloppy rolled and cut into thin slices. Thin sushi is impossible to eat with chopsticks. In others I found fish skin. I am upset with this experience. Also, the website did not allow you to add a comment, so all the sushi was spicy.

C
Cloey Howard

Poke bowl gave me horrible food poisoning! I very rarely write reviews, but feel responsible to warn others. Looking back at past reviews, it looks like this may be a pattern at Crave. Will not be back.

S
Sabrina Lorbiecki

we arrived on a Thursday afternoon at 2:51 PM the host was very accommodating and kind asked if we’d like to sit in the bar area as the happy hour specials would start in nine minutes. We were seated at a table directly in front of where they made the sushi rolls. There were fruit flies everywhere as you’ll see from the photos of the fruit flies on top of my edamame. We ordered two spicy tuna rolls with avocado, as that’s the description stated on the menu. However, when we received the rolls - no avocado. We told our bartender, who was our server, and asked for Avocado. We could hear her tell the sushi chef we asked for avocado and could hear the two of them complaining that there was avocado inside the roll when clearly there was not. At this point the manager had walked past our table at least four times watching us try to brush away the fruit flies without saying anything to us. We also ordered a flatbread pizza with prosciutto and peaches and found there to be a long black hair embedded underneath the melted cheese. When they remade the pizza they failed to make it the same way the prosciutto looked like fat pieces of ham and the peaches were not cooked as you’ll see from my photos. The best thing we ordered were lettuce rolls which luckily we’ll be able to get from PF Chang’s in the future which is right down the road. we were not offered to move tables or have any adjustment or an apology.
