Excelente concepto en Marbella. News café lo tiene todo; una ubicación inmejorable junto al agua, un diseño súper moderno y sofisticado, y un ambiente animadísimo tanto de día como de noche. El servicio es atento, los cócteles son de gran nivel y la atmósfera es de lo más exclusiva de la costa del sol. Súper recomendable para pasar un rato inolvidable!

Stopped by for a coffee and had a quick cappucino, which was very nice and tasty. Didn't have any food which we will make sure to try next time we are in Puerto Banus. Being able to sit outside and watch people passing by is a nice bonus. We will be back :)

Buena cafetería a la fresquita por las noches

Wij waren in wat 's avonds blijkbaar transfomeert in een hippe club in het midden van de haven van Puerto Banus gestopt voor een lichte lunch omwille van het aangename terras vlak aan het water met zicht op de vele prachtige boten. Wij vreesden een beetje dat het een rip-off of een tourist-trap zou zijn maar niets was minder waar. We bestelden een paar glazen witte en rosé wijn, goede kwaliteit, mooi glaswerk en ruime porties, en elk een salade. Beide salades, een caesar salade en een salade met warme geitenkaas waren vers en uitstekend gemaakt, al mochten de porties misschien iets groter zijn. De wijn was wat te duur maar dit werd gecompenseerd door de redelijke prijs van de salades zodat de totaalrekening uiteindelijk wel in lijn was met de kwaliteit van de lunch en de exclusieve locatie. Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening.

The place is very cozy but the dj they had Sunday 25/6/23 night and Tuesday night 26/6/23 was not the best, he kept on changing songs every 30 seconds literally killing the vibe before it even started...

Crowded but they always seem to get apa part it started somehow. One of the Typical party places here. Fun. Not the best drinks but they have outside seating for talking

Super Location! Direkt in bester Lage am Jachthafen! Wir saßen aussen. Toller Überblick und man sitzt bequem. Der Kellner ist bemüht und lässt sich auch mal sehen. Wirkt sauber und gepflegt. Cocktails sind gut gemixt. Preise sind natürlich nicht wie in jedem Club! Cocktails bei Euro 18,- kleine Cola 0,2 Euro 7,- sollte man wissen wenn man sich dafür entscheidet! Innen ist es Abends sehr laut! Türstehen natürlich sehr aktiv, ist auch sein Job!

I was there on 23 June and the men's room attendant complained about the amount of gratuity I gave him. Given that your occupation probably doesn't require a significant amount of expertise and education, don't you think you should be appreciative for any tip at all??? Get rid of that guy...

I’ve been here a few times over the last twenty years. It’s a nice place but hideously expensive. 40 euros for three combinados which would be a gin and tonic. This is quite standard in Banus. No where to sit down as every seat was reserved for hen nights.

A lovely place to sit for a drink and I know you expect to pay over the odds here given that it is a wealthy area but we where well and truly ripped off we where charged 50 euros for 2x 25cl small bottles of cava as I said you expect it to be expensive there but 50 euros for what amounts to 2/3 of a bottle of cava you can buy the 25 cl bottles of Cordoniu Benjamin in the supermarket for around 4 euros per bottle. The mark up on this is excessive. Maybe I should have questioned it at the time but I was a bit shocked and thought that everywhere would be the same as this was the first place we tried, but we found other places that although are still expensive where still reasonable enough given the area. (Tourists Beware)

Had a few drinks in the News Cafe yesterday, the waiter on the outside terrace was very surly and extremely poor customer service. So much so, we did not leave a tip, can only assume he was having a bad day or does not like his job???. As a homeowner in Marbella we regularly frequent the News Cafe for breakfast and lunch, so today we attended again to the News Cafe hoping the rude waiter was having a better day?!. Surprise surprise the “surly” waiter was in a better mood!!. He served a few drinks and seemed in a better mood than the day previously, still not the best customer service experience!!, but very much improved!!!, can only assume he requires additional training. I would strongly suggest to avoid the “News Cafe”” until the News Cafe replace the waiter or help him to undertake further training. Till then Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!!

Writing this review following spending several nights in here this week alone with great company and friends and putting plenty of money behind the bar and on their VIP area! Tonight left within moments of entering the place (and will never return happily) as completely ruined my night and holiday when entering a VIP area to meet friends (completely sober) to be blocked by a doorman with his arms outstretched, for me to then try explain I have had to give the party details at the door and point over to the group of people I was with, all said in a completely ‘sober’ and ‘polite’ manner to then have a doorman literally place two hands on my chest and push me with some severe force into a group of people behind me, shock and anger consumed me immediately and I am Absolutely disgusted that door ‘MEN’ think this is acceptable and I will pursue this in writing with management, I immediately left after of course telling.this particular member of staff to never put his hands on me again, I understand their role in order to manage and protect the public however it is not within job descriptions to be physical and abusive to paying customers whom have not caused them or any other person any harm or bother, shame really as lovely venue, nice bar staff over ruled by aggressive and awful doormen, looking at previous reviews appears to be a theme here, would absolutely not give them a penny of our money again

For a very upmarket area service here was rubbish especially by the older waitress with tattoos. She moved us from a table over looking the water to another table as she said it would get very busy soon. 2 minutes later she sat to other people at the same table??? ... is it a case of who u know or maybe a bigger tip? Ordered chicken caesar salad, chicken was dry and covered in balsalmic glaze ... never knew caesar salad had balsalmic glaze!! Waitress was too busy messing and chatting to some guys on the stools and we waited ages to get the bill. Eventually following her to the end of the seating area to pay. Get good staff and serve everyone equally ... balsalmic glaze ... bin it!! And make a proper salad plz

I came here around 4 years ago and really enjoyed myself. Since then, it seems to have a stricter entrance policy that's quite sexist. Women will be refused entry for not wearing heels, where as the men can wear trainers if they like. I also heard of men being turned away as their shirts didn't have the right amount of buttons. We spoke to so many people that were sober, well dressed but not allowed in. I think the bar should be careful not to alienate people. I certainly won't be going back to spend a penny there.

Be very aware of the obscene wine prices. A bottle of average white cost €70!! A glass had cost us €9, so it would have been cheaper to drink by the glass. The staff were friendly, but shy about showing us a wine list or any drinks prices, so I guess we took a bit of a gamble. A shame, as it had been a lovely lunch in a harbour-side location but we left feeling very ripped off. Confirm the price before you buy!! But then I guess if you have to ask the price in Peurto Banus, maybe you can't afford it!

Worst experience in Marbella so far. Me and my girls are excited for a night out, but this spesific place made us all chocked out of words. Hostile, horrible attitude from the bartenders. Gave us wrong drink from what we ordered, and then wanted us to pay double. What a scam. Will never go back and I advice all my friends to never go there.

Le serveur français est exécrable et malpoli ! 30 minute à attendre a une table sale, le serveur passe 5 fois devant nous nettoie des tables vide plutôt que de venir nettoyer notre table et nous apporter les menu. Aucun sens de l’accueil on a due s’installer seul en terrasse , pas de bonjour ni rien. Enfin je déconseille totalement ! Je tient également à ajouter que j’ai senti un certain jugement de valeur liée à mon origine…

My experience at this establishment was terrible. The waiter spoke in a very rude, almost aggressive manner, which is completely unacceptable for a place of this standard. This is not the kind of service one should expect here. I do not recommend this place under any circumstances.
