Out here on vacation and stopped by to try this place. We got a table right away. We sat outside because the weather is amazing. The service was great and the food was really good. The drinks we ordered took a while to come out but once they did, they were great.

Date day In Newport. Just searched for something simple and found this place. On the harbor side right on the water. Easy pay parking. Servers were great, helpful and always with a smile. Well decorated and a great bay environment. This place is kind of an all day breakfast place. I had the lobster rolls, which are lobster in hotdog buns. She had the pancakes smothered in goodness. Amazing how every slice into the pancakes steam from the heat would come out. The table next to us ordered Chilaquiles and they looked amazing. We will be back.

G
GUS SANDOVAL

Chilaquiles are really good. Some of the best I've had. The beignets are delicious. The calamari was good but the portion was a little small for what you're paying for. Overall the food was really good and I would recommend if you are in the area.

Join the online waitlist! Don’t be disappointed when you show up and there is a long wait on the weekend. It’s to be expected especially at a highly rated place like this. Everything was delicious, the beignets were phenomenal and so were the bloody Mary’s. We really enjoyed ourselves. Location was great!

Amazing place, zero complaints! Carlo was such a great and personable server. He made us feel so welcome as soon as we arrived. Location is perfect, we sat on the second floor outside so we could look out at the water. It was rainy but they had heaters to accommodate us. The drinks were amazing, and holy cow the food was delicious. If we are ever back we will definitely be back to this restaurant.

It’s our first time to try this restaurant for an early breakfast and we ordered the Salmon eggs Benedict with Mimosas and coffee. Food is good 👍 with a fantastic view of the bay. We were seated by Carlo at the second floor outdoor seats. He also happens to be our server and he was awesome 👏 . Great service I might add. He also fluent in Italian. We sure be back soon.

Great experience. Mary was a great waitress. View is beautiful. Loved that it wasn’t crowded. Good: - lobster roll - clam chowder Eh: - calamari

Came here for brunch before our Duffy Boat rental. Easy metered lot parking right outside. We had the beignets, French toast both from the adult menu and the kids menu. The calamari was eeh. The fish tacos looked good. The steak and eggs were cook rare as I ordered it. Kids were able to spot the lighthouse from the water later that afternoon. Bathrooms were outside the restaurant in the adjacent building. All in all, a good experience.

i’ve been here three times now and I must say, it’s the absolute best view for a semi-casual brunch or dinner! i recommend getting seated outside for the best view but just dress warm in case the breeze hits you. they have their own parking lot so just make sure you pay for your spot at the booth and you’re good to go! if you uber, they can come into the lot and drop you off at the front. now onto to the food! SO MUCH GOOD STUFF!!! The lobster mac is where it’s attttt. it’s so good here half of my table ordered it lol. the clam chowder is also quite delicious! we also ordered the bread, scallops, and crispy calamari and those were all bomb! i had the salmon and it was absolute perfection. for brunch, if they still have it, get the lemon ricotta pancakes!! a big shoutout to Wendy! she’s such a great server and we’re a group of 10 so she did her best with us! most definitely will be back again!!

Lovely view. Seated quickly for breakfast with no wait time. Avocado toast was really good. Service was quick. Restaurant doesn't have a restroom so you must use the public one outside. Not a huge deal but it is inconvenient.

Really great location on the water, and the food is just as good! As a huge seafood person and someone who has at at many seafood restaurants nearby, the seafood omlet was super fresh, and the steak chilaquiles were delicious! The beignets were the best I’ve ever had! Thank you to Angel for being an amazing server and attending to all our needs ❤️.

What a fabulous experience! Mary, who served us made our celebration of our wedding extra special. The lemon ricotta pancakes were to die for! Felt like we were in another part of the world right on the sand and overlooking the harbor. A very special experience in a lunch we will remember forever. 😎☀️☀️

Monday morning lunch at 12h00 noontime with reservation on yelp and free beignets with yelp check in. I had a wonderful time at Lighthouse Cafe Newport Beach with their famous and delicious blueberry rocotta pancakes and eggs Benedict. The savory bacon paired well everything. The cappuccino was very good. The Lighthouse Café has a great location right on the water at Marina Park and nice sandlot for kids to play. Good atmosphere and weather today. It does get super Duper busy here. Thank goodness they have a wonderful team of service personnel to accommodate your needs in a timely manner. I really appreciate all the staff for all their hard work today. Enjoy the sunshine and fresh ocean breeze while tasting everything the Lighthouse Cafe has to offer today. Make your reservation today.

Went for my 21st and was not disappointed! Drinks were delicious and our waitress gave us wonderful recommendations and service. The roasted half chickens chicken was melt in your mouth. Delicious!

Excellent discovery in Marina Park! The Diablo Spaghetti with shrimp and chorizo was great, it's got a good spicy kick, but not too hot. The chocolate and bananas with chocolate mousse, chocolate shavings, cherries and bananas was a nice surprise! I expected to be mixed together, but they were separated so you could mix them to your taste. Great views of the Marina! Definitely will be back again! Came back tonight and had the Lighthouse Burger with fries and salad. I started with a cup of clam chowder with oyster crackers. Everything was delicious, but fries could have had less salt. I still highly recommend this place!

Between the amazing servers with bright and cheerful smiles, a Cali aesthetic, and some of the most BRILLIANTLY flavored food I've had, I'm not sure which to rave about more. I literally was beaming my whole meal, and as the waitresses came to serve others I'd get excited thinking maybe, just MAYBE, I'd get my meal next! PLEASE do yourself a favor and eat here, especially up on the top floor!

Spectacular view of the ocean, interesting menu and delicious food. Dutch apple kobbler was so good, highly recommended. Coconut shrimp was perfect for the appetizer.

Our server Ian was amazing. This was our last meal after 7 days in Palm Springs and Newport Beach. The holy cow is a meal more than an appetizer and it’s amazing! I would eat that every single day

Came here on 4th of July morning and we were still able to get in without a wait. We ordered the cinnamon sugar beignets, chilaquiles, and eggs Benedict. All came out quickly and were hot and very fresh. Everything was seasoned well and delicious. We also got the mimosas to go with it and they were more champagne than orange juice so you can’t complain about that. Service was awesome our server was always on top of it bringing us refills and clearing plates whenever needed. This was our 2nd time here and we will definitely come back in the future. 10/10 and worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing view! We sat on the top floor & enjoyed the view. The drinks were good but not that strong (had the lavender lemon drop Martin). However, the food was delicious!!! We had the shrimp tacos, lobster roll & Brussel sprouts.

Exquisite food, excellent service 👌🏼all the staff very attentive 😉. We tried lobster roll, toasted tuna, red chilaquiles and eggs and steak, drinks were chocolate martinis. Everything was so good that we returned the next day. So we tried mahi mahi tacos, scallops with chocolate martinis pumpkin and again everything is great 😁. We were attended by Ada and Angel and I do not have the names of the others who were also very attentive to ensure that we had a good stay as well as the general manager who also asked how we were. Reasonable prices so we will definitely be back for our next vacation.

Amazing restaurant with an amazing view of the Newport Beach Marina. Plenty of meter parking. Has indoor with window views and outdoor patio seating. The interior has a high ceiling with a revolving chandelier resembling a lighthouse. The staff is very friendly. Overall, the food is very yummy. The scampi primavera is very flavorful with fresh ingredients. The honey glazed grilled salmon is perfectly cooked. It is fresh and juicy. It cames with grilled veggies that are good. The seared ahi Sandwich is also perfectly seared and juicy. It comes with fries. The wagyu bourbon Burger is very flavorful and juicy as well. It comes with fries. Prices are reasonably for the location and quality of food.

The place is amazing, view 10/10, Stephane was great and always smiling, Thank You They accommodated 7 of us in a very nice spot, it was a bit chilly so they turned on the heater for our kids, the food is amazing and the service was on point, next time will try their breakfast, highly recommended and one of my new favorites Thank you!

Exceptional little breakfast/brunch place. Off the beaten path so to speak. Enjoyed the outside seating under the heat lamp. Perfect. Recommended plates were good. Chiliquilles were some of the best I've had. Easy menu. Coffee was good, and the staff is very attentive and accommodating.

The Lighthouse is a perfect spot for brunch. We decided to sit outside to enjoy the scenery. Our server offered us the cinnamon sugar beignets. We decided to try the clam chowder, mahi mahi tacos & a lobster roll. We also had a pitcher of mimosas. The food was so delicious but those beignets were to die for. Our server was super friendly & helpful. It’s always to get good service. I suggest putting your name on the waitlist prior to arriving since they get busy.

We had a lovely brunch overlooking the marina on the upper level. The staff were post and the food was great as well. I liked that it wasn't busy or noisy so I could enjoy our family convos, hear the seagulls & the boat passing by while we dined. This was a December outing and even thought it was sunny, we were on the shaded side of the balcony so it was breezy, so bring a light sweater. The bathrooms are on the lower level and not part of the restaurant, so be prepared to go back down the stairs and walk a way bit to get there. This is another great place to stop for a coffee break if you're a cyclist like me because they have outdoor seating downstairs as well were you can be near your bike whether by yourself of in a group. It's also a little tucked away from foot traffic and it feels safe and cyclists friendly #IYKYK

A small group of us visited here for lunch and the wait for a table was too long so we thought let’s order take out and sit and eat looking out at the beautiful harbor (the weather was great). A server spotted us and he was so very helpful and went out of his way to take our orders and get us something to drink while we waited. The wait for our order was very short and server brought everything out to us where we were seated (he didn’t have to do that considering we were take out). Needless to say our service experience was outstanding. The food was on par with the service, it was all great. We each got something different and we all thought it was very tasty. Our take away was Great Service, Food and Sights. Definitely be back to try something new.

Service was extremely slow but the views and location were really good. The clam chowder was rich and nice, but the portion size was too small for the price. The Breakfast Burrito, Bayside Omelette, and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich were all really good. Don’t forget to check in at Yelp for free Beignets!

My aunt, mom and I decided to visit Newport Beach for the first time. We were looking for brunch places on a Sunday afternoon and decided to eat at The Lighthouse Cafe. Located along the Balboa Peninsula, the ambiance offers breathtaking views of Newport Bay. We were seated within 5 minutes and granted our request for a patio table on the 2nd floor. (We wanted an overlooking view of Newport Bay while dining). Wendy was our waitress and she is very amusing, caring and attentive! We ordered Steak Chilaquilles, Nachos, Fish & Chips and Romaine Caesar salad. The steak chilaquiles had the perfect balance of the crunchy homemade tortilla chips with the grilled tender carne asada and opted for scrambled eggs. Thankfully I was able to omit the salsa choices and their avocado sauce was tasty. The nachos were also tasty and was the "sibling" of the chilaquilles. Their fish and chips were fresh, crispy and not greasy at all. The coleslaw served as a perfect match, along with their special tangy tartar sauce. The caesar salad was delicious with fresh pieces of anchovies and shredded parmesan cheese. We could've ordered it with less dressing, but we will opt for that next time. Thank you to all the owners, managers, cooks and waiters of The Lighthouse Cafe for the phenomenal food and service, especially to Wendy!

If you are passing through or enjoying your vacation in Newport Beach, you need to go to the Lighthouse Cafe. The place is incredible, has great drinks, good food and good prices, and best of all, a sensational view of the Newport Beach Marina. We recommend it!

The Lighthouse Cafe offers a charming coastal ambience, with nautical decor and panoramic views of the ocean. Their brunch selection is a delightful fusion of classic favorites and innovative dishes, catering to a variety of tastes. I highly recommend trying their signature seafood omelette, packed with fresh lobster and shrimp, a true delight for seafood lovers. The cafe's relaxed atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a leisurely weekend brunch with friends or family. Overall, Lighthouse Cafe's inviting setting and delectable brunch offerings make it a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists alike.

My wife and I came here twice while visiting Newport Beach, once for brunch and once for dinner. Despite being relatively busy at both times, as a party of two willing to be seated inside, we were seated immediately. For parties of two, they have a somewhat unique seating arrangement that really takes advantage of the layout of the restaurant. Three raised booths with seating on only one side facing the windows let you see over the other tables giving an unobstructed view of the marina. If you are in a larger party or want to sit outside, I would recommend make reservations as there seemed to be a wait for such seating. We only planned to get brunch here, but were surprised by how good the food and service were so we ended up returning for dinner. For brunch we shared the filet crostini and mahi mahi tacos. For dinner we shared a caeser salad (with skirt steak added) and the honey glazed grilled salmon. All four dishes were excellent and I would highly recommend all of them.

The service was excellent. Shout out to the female hostess. My wife and i were asking questions to her and a rude customer tried to move us out of the way and the hostess told her to wait her turn (in a very professional way). The Chilaquiles and the french toast was delicious!! We ate everything. The servers did a great job and were very kind and professional too!!

Absolutely no words!! Best place to get a lovely dinner while enjoying the breath taking views of the boats and the bay. Burger was the juiciest and most flavorful burger I have ever had. The caesar salad was extremely crisp and fresh. The dressing tasted like it was freshly made minutes before reaching our table. The service was amazing. Be prepared to wait a little bit for your food, but kick back and have a beer while you wait because it was 100% worth it as it tasted like everything was freshly made to order. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had a great time at Lighthouse Cafe. The place feels so cozy and welcoming like you're right at home. The Coconut Shrimp was delicious. The shrimp were juicy, and the coconut outside was crispy and sweet. The Caesar Salad was fresh and tasty. The lettuce was crisp, and the dressing was just right, not too heavy. It was a simple salad, but it was made well. The best part of the meal was the Scampi Primavera. The pasta was just how my husband liked it, and there were lots of colorful veggies mixed in. The shrimp in this dish were also cooked perfectly. The sauce was light and garlicky, which made everything taste so good together. We also tried their Strawberry Mojito, and it was refreshing, with just the right mix of sweet strawberries and mint, making it the perfect complement to the flavors of our meal. We're definitely going back to Lighthouse Cafe. The food is amazing, the place is comfortable, and the people are friendly. If you're looking for a great meal, you should check it out!

This hidden gem for brunch is outstanding! Food here was very very delicious! My wife and I came here to try out their brunch service. I had the light house special Benedict and my wife had the avocado toast with some beignets. Everything was so good and recommend this place in a heart beat. View looking at the marina harbor and small beach was cool. You do have to pay for parking so don't forget. There's a mobile app you can just pay on the app. There's out door and inside and 2nd floor settings. Please call to reserve or rsvp online. Walk in sometimes welcome of not crowded. We rsvp and the wait is on time. Great service and great food!

I went in June of 2022. The food was phenomenal. We had the berry salad and the lobster Mac and two drinks. I still dream about it all. The ambiance and views inside of the restaurant were breathtaking. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. On the pricier side but definitely worth the dollar spent.

Dined here with family for a Saturday brunch, and it was wonderful. We were seated outside, and the view was beautiful. The staff, service, and our server were very nice, attentive, and great with kids! All of the food we ordered was delicious. The wait to be seated was slightly longer while some tables were visibly empty. However, I stayed on top of it and made sure to get the table in a timely manner. There might be a reason behind it, I'm not sure. Just make sure you stay close to the restaurant after checking into the waitlist.

Ok friend, this is the best secret of Newport Beach! Does it get any better than this sitting on the back bay with a view of little Lido Island, Lido Island, and fashion Island. The food is absolutely incredible. Recommend arriving early for happy hour which is the best ever! Incredible food, and great pricing. Tonight we ordered the scallops which were Huge & Shrimp linguine. ..no skipping here on the portion size. I'm turning 65 and my wife mentioned it and they brought a huge dessert which was out of this world… Just see the pictures. Rodney, our waiter was absolutely amazing. When visiting this incredible restaurant, Highly recommend outdoor seating… It's early June and they have heat lamps and fire pits surrounding the seating area. You are missing out if you don't eat here at least once during your stay at Newport Beach.

I happened to have lunch with a colleague as we had both finished teaching a kids camp in the community center right next to the Cafe. My colleague said that she was in love with the Coconut shrimp and I agreed to have lunch with her. She ordered a small bowl of the clam chowder and the coconut shrimp and I had Mahi mahi tacos with a micro greens side salad. The service was great and the atmosphere of hanging out on the patio was amazing!! Super, duper chilled out vibes. I can see why they also take reservations. If everyone got word about how incredible Lighthouse Cafe is, it would have longer lines. The wait isn't at all bad. There are plenty of seats and tables upstairs and down on the ground floor. The fish is absolutely delicious, fresh, and prepared beautifully. Truly, it was one of the best lunches I have had while on a break from work!! I would highly recommend the Lighthouse Cafe if you find yourself on the Balboa Peninsula. I heard that the weekend brunch is wonderful. They offer a Mimosa brunch all you can eat/drink deal too.

Fantastic experience here! Lobster roll was perfect, beignets were out of this world. Lupita greeted us with a genuine smile and like she was welcoming us into her own home. Angel took our order after delivering water to our entire party of 6. Very quickly we were served our lattes and fresh squeezed orange juice followed by the best eggs Benedict I have ever eaten. The lemon blueberry pancakes are a must try and the cinnamon French toast was delicious! Food was served quickly, piping hot and beautifully plated. We were able to give our compliments directly to Chef Francisco who came out to meet us after Andrew(manager) let him know we had a retired Chef with us. Service, Food and atmosphere are all top notch! We will be back soon!

My fiancé, myself and both our families had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our post-proposal Valentine’s Day dinner at The Lighthouse Cafe this year, and I truly can’t imagine a more perfect place for such a special night. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and celebratory. The staff went above and beyond to make the evening feel personal and meaningful, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Special shoutout the manager Andrew for accommodating our group and all the details leading up to the big day, Kim for being the most wonderful hostess to greet us and tend to any last minute requests we had and the staff for being so attentive and polite from the start to the finish of the evening! The food was outstanding, perfectly prepared, and memorable in every way. And can’t forget the amazing selection of drinks! Every course added to what was already one of the most important nights of our lives. What really set the experience apart, though, was how genuinely kind and accommodating everyone was. They helped make the night feel effortless, fun, and as special as it possibly could have been. If you’re planning a proposal, an anniversary, Valentine’s Day, or simply want a beautiful waterfront setting with incredible food and service, I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. It will always hold a special place in our hearts. Five stars all the way.

It’s such a great experience here & what an addition to our vacation. It was relaxing yet lively, beautiful atmosphere and excellent service with Carlos & the hostess. But… the FOOD - WOW!!! Delicious. Try the seafood omelette or avocado toast. Delightful - so much we want to come back during the same trip. Oh yeah, they have awesome mimosas A carafe per person & you can take what you don’t drink on the beach. Living the life!

We recently had the absolute joy of hosting our wedding dinner at this wonderful restaurant, and I honestly don’t think words can fully capture how special the entire experience was – but I’ll try. From the very beginning, communication was seamless and reassuring. David was truly exceptional throughout the planning process. Every email, every question, every last-minute detail was handled with such care and professionalism. He made us feel completely at ease and genuinely excited leading up to the big day. His responsiveness and attention to detail were invaluable, and it felt like he was just as invested in our day as we were. On the day of the event, Andrew stepped in as our point person, and we could not have asked for a more organized, calming, and thoughtful presence. He orchestrated the evening with grace and precision, ensuring everything flowed effortlessly — from our arrival to the final toast. It’s rare to find someone who can manage logistics so smoothly while also making you feel personally cared for, but Andrew did just that. And of course, we must mention Dave and Xochi, who delivered outstanding service with such warmth and genuine hospitality. They were absolutely amazing — attentive without being intrusive, always present when needed, and full of positive energy that truly added to the atmosphere. You could feel that they weren’t just doing a job, they were helping create memories, and that means so much. Every dish was perfect, every glass was full, and every guest left with a smile. But more than that, we left with the feeling that our wedding dinner wasn’t just an event on a calendar — it was treated with heart. To David, Andrew, Dave, Xochi, and the entire team: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You gave us a night we will treasure forever. Thanks ☺️

Amazing spot right by the beach with great vibes! The live music is fantastic and really sets the mood, whether you’re here for brunch or an evening drink. Dining right next to the beach, overlooking the ocean, was such a romantic and lovely experience — definitely the highlight of our visit. The food itself wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t particularly impressive either. One downside was the restroom situation — we had to use a public restroom nearby, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, the place had a nice vibe, but nothing too memorable aside from the view.

Truly a great place for indoor dining. Welcoming, nice view, and a wide menu. The food was perfectly cooked and made all the needed changes to please my taste. Unfortunately can’t say the same about takeout. Got the wrong sides and the lobster roll was tooooo oily 🫢🤢

Dog-friendly breakfast with a view? Yes, please! Lighthouse Cafe is the perfect spot to start your day in Newport Beach. The view of the harbor is stunning, and the staff are incredibly friendly — we felt welcome the moment we walked in (and so did our fluffy little Pomeranian!). We ordered the Eggs Benedict, avocado toast, and those dreamy cinnamon sugar pastries — crispy outside, soft inside, and just the right amount of glaze. I highly recommend trying them — they’re not your usual dessert! The coffee was smooth and came with rock candy for stirring — cute and tasty touch. Dog-friendly patio, peaceful atmosphere, great food and service — we’ll definitely be back.

After a nice and relaxing sport, paddle boarding went to this beautiful beach restaurant location. View of the boats, people and athletes. Had grilled chicken sandwich, and it was quite tasty but seems a bit oily. Had to change my salad because it was to salty.

Loved the beer selection, the clam chowder was delicious, fish and chips were also quite good while the lobster roll was very unique in flavor! We sub the regular fries for garlic fries in both entrees and it was especially delicious with the aioli spread sauce to dip in (we're from Utah so some variation is a must)

Best breakfast with a view for miles! We were seated outside and the food was excellent and it arrived quickly. The views are beautiful and service was good. We enjoyed the mimosas and the French toast as well as the breakfast plates.

A hidden gem in Newport Beach. With a spectacular view of the ocean, the food is on point. Their salmon melts in your mouth with a sauce that complements the flavor of the fish perfectly. Their lobster roll is also unexpectedly impressive with a buttery brioche roll and big, fair pieces of lobster. As for their dessert, their fresh baked macadamia cookie is a must try: we get it every time. The cookie is baked fresh and served warm with high quality vanilla ice cream. They also have beignet, which have a similar texture to roti, served with cinnamon sugar. Although there was only one waitress, the food arrived reasonably quickly and the overall experience was lovely.

We were sat promptly but then waited a long time just for water. Was extremely busy for a Wednesday morning. I got the mini ahi tostatas and the lighthouse Benedict. My wife got the lemon. Blueberry rocatta pancakes. I was really please with my choices.

My stars are based on food/location bc the location is 5 stars such great place to visit and have a delightful time!!! 4 stars for the food/price … somethings are good here and some things are not so good here. Taco Tuesday 👏👏👏 such a great value Beneighs - Totally spelled wrong lol but they R really really delicious I love them very much. Basic egg breakfast/ probably my favorite breakfast meal because I do not like super crazy overly sweet items. I’ve gone here and my friends have really liked the waffles and other sweet breakfast items though. Chiliquiles / no basically green sauce over tortilla chips I did not like it not even a little bit. Service - this place gets very very busy and like mini restaurants it’s just hard to find enough people to work it seems. But I think they do a good job with what they have and I’ve always been treated nicely. Parking - Good luck on the weekends. And you can’t find parking even if it’s busy but it just might take a while and you’ll have to walk in. I recommend coming before 10 and you would most definitely be able to park in the parking lot at Marina Park. Nearby things to do If you plan in advance after your meal you can rent paddle boards literally right next-door at the Newport in Marina Rental Center it’s super super cool!

I wanted to give this place a try since the everything looked great in the pictures even after reading all this bad reviews surprising they were not wrong. Our drinks were horrible I got a piña colada that tasted like warm milk and rum with a bunch of sugar we sat in the sun for two hours watched several employees walked by and ignored our dirty plates on the side of the table our server refilled our water once with warm water. The food was okay nothing out of the ordinary. Spent a good penny but I don’t think I can recommend or be able to say I’ll be back.

Service was great for a large group. Starters and desserts were great. Cocktails were strong. But the mains were just okay. If they get the seafood on point then it will be a really good place. The lobster roll needed good chunks of lobster but it was more like tuna salad in texture.

L
Leah Dilbeck

Our waiter & the host staff were great. Very helpful & attentive. The food was good - not great but good. Needed to add some seasoning/salt. The chowder was more "fishy" that was expected. Id skip it next time. Views are lovely.

L

Fairly good their brunch menu keeps it simple but would like more options. Fish and chips the fish very good fry’s, ahht. Beef dip I guess for price ok but small. Over all the food was ok, but I expected much better. The soup was creamed based and was broke, separated, must use roux cooked for 45 minutes and then cook for 45 minutes in soup, unless soup came from package.

Nice relaxing , fancy place. Food is good and fresh. I liked the seafood. The menu is different for lunch and dinner .They have the parking for the restaurant. I loved the location as you can view the bay and boats. Little beach area . There is Marina park next to it . Overall a pleasant experience.

It was crowded, and even though we had a reservation we felt a bit like our table was in an aisle and in the way. Food was good. Small item -- they didn't link our arrive back to OpenTable, so OT thought we were a No Show.

J

Fun place to have brunch. Outdoor dining available at both garden and deck levels. Polite staff for how busy it was on this day. Only a few broken dishes to liven up the place at the end of our meal.. maybe they need a see through kitchen door window.. just a thought. In all, I'll be back. Bright with lots of windows to take in the boats passing in the bay. Public parking lot with electric charging station and handicap spaces are conveniently next to the public restroom, which is open and clean. The Playground looks over the water and the grass field had families sprawled around taking in the scene.

Recommended is Lobster Roll with potato chips, Bacon avocado omellete, steamed garlic clam ( appertizer ), crispy calamari is okay. Tacos not to bad. Clam chowder is okay. One friend said is good, not too creamy. Other one said is just ok because she like the one creamy. So its really depends on everyone like. Service is awesome. Carlos take care of us. We got cinammon bread/cake for the birthday. Place is nice and small ( reservation is recommend ). They have outside seating too with heater. Only the restroom is public restroom.

Service was nice and atmosphere was good. I can see yachts outside. Parking is available with around 4.5 dollars per hour in the park parking lot using parkmobile app. The food was good but slightly expensive for me. Ahi tacos were $21 (in the picture) and I felt a little bit pricy even if their great flavor. Avocado toast was $18 and it was good but a little bit pricy too. Also, they do not have price for coffee in the menu ($5). If weather is nice, it would be the good place and Newport Pier is accessible by walk. Overall, satisfactory choice for me except price.

Came here from a recommendation from a good friend. The food was great got the fish tacos but the menu was limited and the drink recipes were a but pricey. The staff were solid but my waitress never came by that often to check in on me. Maybe she came by twice after taking my order. I would recommend checking this place out if you have a chance.

It was our First time at this place we went for dinner to celebrate a birthday we really loved it Our server was Ian really nice person attended us really Well , Would go again for this service. The only thing we did not like with our family members was that one of the staff members, I believe it might’ve been the manager ,scolded one of the workers at the entrance and it wasn’t so nice what she was saying mind you it was pretty loud Did not think that was professional

We stopped in for breakfast on our way to the airport. It was dead and the weather was overcast. I bet this place and view are amazing when it’s clear out. We sat outside in an area for great views. The service was spectacular. Both our waiter and the host were very attentive and friendly. You have to pay for parking as it’s at a marina. Another reviewer mentioned the restrooms being at the front of the marina. I thought they were pretty clean and didn’t have an issue walking just a bit further. Now the food-good portions. The clam chowder was amazing. It was the star of the meal. It was peppery and just delightful. Best I’ve ever had. The avocado toast was ok. It lacked some real flavor. The salad it came with was mellow and fresh. The chorizo Benedict was good. It had good flavor and the chorizo wasn’t oily. Eggs were perfectly poached. The potatoes they came with were good as well.

Food was good but really nothing special. It has a pretty view but not suitable for sunset view. They have full bar service but sit down bar for customers. The drinks were ok, the Sangria was far from what I expected. Other than a lemon wedge on the rim, no fruit in the drink. The service was fair. There are no restrooms in the restaurant, you must leave the building to access a restroom.

It was our first time visiting and may be our last. We ordered the seafood scramble, an omelette and the beignets. The food was OK, but my concern is with the hostess and the service. It was two of us in our party and they were able to seat us right away outside. The table we were being seated at was directly in the sun. I asked if we could be seated right across at a table of four and in the shade. The hostess said no, we can’t seat a party of two at a table for four. Literally five minutes later, a party of two was seated at the table of four. There was no one else in their party!!!! It was clear the hostess lied.

Have been here twice and both times the service was very ODD… waiters and waitresses would passes us by so many times…. We had kids with us both times and I feel like it’s pretty common knowledge that kids don’t like to sit for very long so the fastest service is usually the best and to get food out for them…. Not the case here we didn’t get looked in on for I believe 10 minutes or more and when we asked to just get some bread out for the kids, it seemed everybody had some kind of a chip on their shoulder. We got same waitress both times, she was very sarcastic… at one point who seem to be the manager, walked by picked up a piece of pancake from the floor and said “Your not supposed to feed the birds”! we had three toddlers (age 3 oldest) with us. I guess one of them dropped a pancake…. (I am again assuming these people don’t have kids or something) because it’s hard to keep track of all the food kids drop… the lady who served water was the nicest person there who smiled and asked if we needed anything else. Food was great 👍 views are great. Service made us feel unwelcome and unattended.

I didn’t make a reservation, so we had to wait for two hours. The server was not friendly and didn’t explain the food so well when we asked. If you expect good service, this place might not be for you. Also, the server for our table tried to take away our dish before we even finished, which was really frustrating. On top of that, the food wasn’t worth the two-hour wait. To be fair, the vibe was great as the weather was so nice at that time.

H
Hang Nguyen

The wait was long for brunch. It was 90 minutes. If you can, check into Yelp first to get in the line, no reservations for brunch. The food was mediocre. Calamari was chewy and cold. Coconut shrimp would have been better if the server brought it out sooner. The lobster mac and cheese was top runny and not much taste to it. Lobster roll and burger was just ok. The food is pricey for what you get. The service was also mediocre. Parking cost $3 or so an hour there. The views are beautiful. However, we won’t be back. There are other restaurants with great views, better service and food.

2:30pm I had brunch here yesterday with my husband and granddaughter. Let me add it was my idea because I was voting and stumbled across this place while waiting for my husband to arrive to vote too. I have many allergies which typically it’s difficult to eat out at all. I ordered something easy, the Waygu Beef burger with zero sauce which it came with sauce. This meant I had to wait, and watch everyone else eat while waiting for it to be redone, and I sat starving. Once it came, the burger was delicious as a protein wrap. See photo. My hubby got calamari to start and my granddaughter, first time ever eating it, loved it. Hubby also got Mahi Mahi tacos 🌮 which he said were delicious too. My granddaughter is a picky eater and she did not like the hotdog but loved the fries with a side of ranch. Overall, the location is great, it overlooks the bay. The yachts sitting in the bay is an added bonus. The pelicans diving into the water is a bonus too. The tables are close enough to see the water but not get sand in your food even on a breezy day slightly windy day like yesterday. And there was a fire pit next to our table so that kept us cozy on this breezy afternoon. I gave it 3 stars because my order was incorrect, and I was starving. The waitress was great and apologized for the error but that still didn’t change the fact I sat there waiting while everyone was eating. She took the entire plate away which I could have kept the fries to snack on but I wasn’t given that option. I grabbed a small handful because I have had this happen to me in other restaurants. I expect my order to be correct considering it only needs to have sauce excluded.

We enjoyed sitting outside on their patio. It was a bit crowded even for a Friday but i guess everyone has the same idea with it being a nice day out. Service was good. Mary was sweet. Food was meh. Lobster roll- appreciated that it was warm, but both the lobster and roll was DRY. We ended up using all the butter it came with to try to moisten it. Definitely have had better. We used to love going to Hook and Anchor but they moved to Costa Mesa. Clam chowdwr- loved the flavor of it. Just needed more clams.

We came here for brunch for my mom's birthday back in December. I dont usually like to leave bad reviews, but I needed to address this experience. All of our food was amazing. We especially liked the mushroom puff pastry appetizer. The server only came to our table once. I think he had a big party inside. That would have been ok if they just assigned us another server. I felt ripped off tipping someone who did NOTHiNG for us. I realy hope they share tips. That was the only reason I even left a tip. It was actually the busser who took extremely good care of us. It was not his job but I asked him for some help for our table and he kept checking back on us and getting us the items we needed. He made the experience savable.

First before anything.... no matter what time ur reservation is, get there min an hour before. Parking is the worst! Now the restaurant... food above average in taste but presentation is great. We ordered Fish n Chips, Blueberry Pancakes, Clam Chowder and Fish Tacos and Pistachio Pasta. Coffee, Iced Tea and water. Service was prompt eventhough we were 45 min late (parking issues). We were there 08.31.25 at 1pm. The two young ladies at the front desk were nice and accommodating. Little hesitant but cuz they were super busy and we were late. But handled the problem professionally. Our server Christen was pleasant and attentive.... until the handing of the bill. I'm very picky with client service. She looked away while saying have a great day and etc etc. My Son didn't even reach out to recieve the bill n half her body was turning away. I'm sorry but that was a bit rude. I'm in a luxury line automotive dealer and eye contact is very important. Other than that the whole service part of Christen's duties were normal. Oh as far as the food, don't order the Lobster Mac n Cheese... no longer on their menu. I asked cuz was shown on their web site menu. Dinner items only order after 4pm. Now the atmosphere... we had outside seating very awesome day! Slight breeze and sunny. Boats were passing by and everyone was pleasant. The view was great and the fragrance of the ocean in the air... fresh and clean. One negative is the restaurant shares restrooms with the public restrooms around the corner of the building. Really!!! A nice restaurant with no restrooms???? So overall when I go to a nice restaurant the food and the service is most important to me. So if u want to impress a date with a romantic view maybe this is the place.

The pictures to this location are misleading. Upon arrival it seemed as though we were entering a museum rather then a restaurant. The view from the patio is decent if you like to a view full of just docked ships. The food has a very delicious presentation, but sadly the food lacked flavor. All in all a mediocre place and I wouldn't visit again. My server was attentive and chill so kudos to him. Asides that nothing special.

OMG!! Don’t even think about it. There are way better places very near. I ordered the ribeye special m/rare. It came out completely cooked to a total brown. The waitress is nowhere to be found. Oh wait, there she is. I waved and she said I’ll be right there. Ho hum, ho hum. Hhhhmmm where’s that waitress? She finally came after everyone had finished their meal. I told her the steak was over cooked but it’s ok. Just leave it. After a few negotiations, she took my plate and said it wouldn’t be long. Very fast she said. They cleared all the other plates and then brought my steak. I presume it was cooked to m/rare but I didn’t check. I asked her to pack it to go. $257 for 3 meals plus one to go. Pretty good deal, don’t you think?? I won’t be back. I will tell all my friends.

Food was average, the view is relaxing but it took almost an hour to get out 2 entrees. People who sat same time as us got their food and paid and left and we didn’t get our food yet. The server didn’t even do anything and just said they went from lunch to dinner. She didn’t offer anything to fix it just acted rushed and brought the check. Good was average. Not worth the price at all 1 iced tea, a grilled artichoke and 2 entrees were about $100.

First impressions mean the world especially after planning today's trip two weeks inadvance, surprisingly our family's veteran dad on father's day. After a very early, long, hot boat trip his selected this restaurant two weeks prior as soon as we arrived around 1:30pm the walk in group before us (3) was seated immediately. As we were told it would be a twenty five minute wait by Kylie disappointed and exhausted we (3) sat and waited in the heat. Seeing two groups (3-4) after us get seated instantly it was very insulting. I walked back to the check in and after speaking about the issue with Chloe she was very apologetic and very accommodating finding us a seat fast. With that being said the food was fantastic from taste, freshness, and consistency all our meals were nothing less than superb. Even our waitress Tyla had wonderful customer service and attentiveness. The first face people see can make or break a restaurant/company based on how they treat their customers. Huge thank you to both Chloe and Tyla for turning our whole experience around they should both conduct customer service training for the other staff. We come to New Port often although we live 120 miles away 2hrs and 20mins we would gladly make this one of our new favorite stops as long as long as great customer service is there.
