We stopped here for dinner during our NYC visit and tried NY style veggies pizza, buffalo pizza, cheese pizza and their special meat veggie pizza. They all were great and so was the customer service. The pizzas were huge and we ended up packing some for next day. Overall, we had a great experience 👍

I've had Joey's multiple times. To write a fair review, I will say most times, the food is solid. I had a recent experience though that wasn't so pleasant. Part of my order (garlic knots) were completely burnt and inedible. They were rock hard. It was near closing time so I didn't call them to let them know on the day of the order, and it slipped my mind because of a busy week. But I remembered it days later, and when I tried to request a refund 6 days after, they told me it was too late. No apologies or even an offer to make it right another way. I know it's just garlic knots, but it was at least $5 and I had to toss it. If you wouldn't eat the food yourself, why would you put it out the door for your customers to eat? Like I said, to be fair, I'm giving a 4-stars overall for my past decent experiences, but the last order was sub-par to say the least. Willing to revise if they make it right.

My family has bought pizza here several times. We have tried different flavors and we liked them. We like thin crust pizza, and this place has that. The service is friendly. I am taking off one star for the premises, they need renovation. I definitely recommend the pizza!

Used to have a slice of pizza here almost every other day for two months. They have a variety of different flavors and prepare pizzas all day and night - until 1 am. Owners are very friendly too!

While looking for pizzeria close to our neighborhood found this place. Ordered three different kind of slices of which veggie was the best. I love pizza crusts but it was little bit on the burnt side so had to throw. Would like to try when it is freshly made.

Good corner spot for a quick bite. Had a regular ($4), it has a sesame crust which is different. Its great with some marinara. Good few options here for other things. Place hasn't changed in over 30 years probably. Pizza sauce is a bit sweet for me, has the right amount of these you'd expect and scratches the itch. $4 for a slice like that is silly though so ranked it down for that.

For $15.00 dollars this was the worst chicken parmesan I've ever had. Not only, did he hold back on the sauce, and the cheese, that chicken cutlet was thin as paper. Never again!

SUCKS!!! Do not waste your hard-earned money here! I’m visiting from VA, and been eating NY pizza since I was a kid (my moms from here) and I am so disappointed I just spent $130 on meal that was supposed to feed my family. More than HALF of it they can’t even eat. Complete waste of $130- still waiting on someoneee to contact me about fixing this. We’re staying at a hotel so there’s no condiments here to potentially save this food. Our pizza was tastelesssss and absolutely no type of seasoning was used at all! No garlic, no salt and pepper…Like what?! I’ve had 100 pizzas from NY and this is the worst pizza I’ve honestly ever eaten. Ever. From anywhere!! I could have saved $100 and gone to Pizza Hut. Even no salt on the fries?! They were gross and cold. Everything else was hot at least, but almost inedible. We’re not eating this. They ALSO didn’t tell me there is a $5 additional charge for using a credit card- so why did I bother tip if you told me a total that wasn’t even accurate??? I was shocked to see the total on the receipt they had me sign, which was different from the price she told me on the phone. Never mentioning the $5 extra charge? I didn’t want to do the most to call the restaurant and ask for a new receipt to fix the total or whatever, but I definitely called after I saw the food when I came back up to the room. Nothing was solved. They forgot my ranch, I didn’t get a copy of my receipt, they didn’t give us any red pepper or cheese to put on the pizza to save it from being dreadfully tasteless, and a $25 calamari was literally some frozen calamari thrown into a bath of marinara sauce?! For 25 DOLLARS like whatttt?! INSANITY. The saladdd was the most edible thing we ordered- that’s crazy. I’m pissed and I need a refund.

Ordered a small pizza and garlic knots and the garlic knots were just bread with some chopped garlic on them and some nasty oil on the bottom. Also found a hair in them…the pizza was prob a 5/10 definitely wouldn’t order again

I had ordered food through the app too good to go, and on the app it states the store is open till 01:30, however, when arriving at 12:55 the pizzeria was already closed and the workers did not even bother to let us know properly that they are closed, they just shooed us off and didn't even bother speaking a word to me as to what is going on rather just pointing at the empty counter and shrugging to say not my problem. One worker who was clearly a delivery driver with glasses and another who was clearly making the pizza that night were absolutely rude in their behavior. If the owner of the shop isn't there i guess his workers do not care to even give the respect that the owner does to his customers, absolutely uncourteous, i wont ever go to this pizzeria again if I don’t see the owner or his family in there because than id at least know i can be treated like a customer by them and not just someone who is seen as a jerk for wanting to figure out what is going on with his order as those workers had made me feel.

How this place has a 4+ star rating is an absolute mystery to me. This was my first and last order from this place. The sauce, sour! The crust, super thick, soggy and chewy. The cheese, low quality. This is everything and anything, but good NYC pizza. You got me once, but will not be twice! Even the garlic knots were bad. Undercooked, chewy dough and no real garlic and oil.
