I recommend you to get here and enjoy. Update: 12 October,2024. Always enjoy stopping here for their Buffet. No matter what day I go, there's always great food and drinks along with wonderful fellowship. Update: February 25, 2025. Got there before the evening crowd. Had an enjoyable late lunch. Fellowship with others, especially with some older Veterans that were there. Service always fantastic and the food excellent. Still a 5 star 🌟 Cafe. Ready for the whole family. You will enjoy

Loved the old town vibe in this restaurant, there was a lot of hustle bustle. The waffle was fabulous, the veggie omlette was slightly on the oily side. The buffet was good and had a good variety. However when we went the breakfast has no chicken dishes. The mugs hanging on the wall gave a nice feeling All in all, good experience!

Food was really had fried pickles for a appetizer and Texas loaded potatoe that had chopped up chicken fried steak in it really good😊 . My fiance had chicken fried steak with a salad and french fries . Oh yea can't forget about the cornbread I mean jalapeño cornbread was very good that had little pieces of corn in it also very good

Old school cafe with rustic decor. The no frills breakfast we had was excellent and reasonably priced! We had the western omelette and the coffee shop special. Hash browns and thick-cut bacon were nice and crisp. The sausage patties had a nice kick of spice, thick and crumbly. The pancake was huge and fluffy. Homemade biscuits. Omelette had lots of flavor. Definitely a place to go if you have a hankering for breakfast!

I wasn't expecting a buffet, but was so thrilled that they had one! Everything was absolutely delicious, lots of comfort foods that taste like Grandma's home cooking. Really fun atmosphere with lots of fun ephemera on the walls to see! The staff couldn't have been friendlier and made me feel right at home. And George Bush himself eats there quite often! I highly recommend this to anyone passing through.

I had a veggie omelet and fruit bowl. Both were great and our server was awesome. The atmosphere is relaxed and I would definitely go back. If I could I would rate them even higher

Great service for a busy night. The food was delicious. Plenty of left overs to take home. 2 meals with appetizers and desserts, for $32.00.

Absolutely love this place! Food is delicious and very frienfly family type atmosphere.

Great food at a great price and the staff is extremely friendly. And most important to me, I never had to wait or ask for my coffee to be refilled. I would recommend this cafe to everyone.

Enjoyed a hand battered Chicken Fried Steak with Mashed potatoes and corn. Delicious. Great service. They have a buffet if you are in the mood for that with a little bit of everything. We will be back.

I tried the buffet with my Mom today for lunch. Friendly staff. She loved the food. I thought it was better than good for the price, but you need to be into "country" type food. She got the Salisbury steak in brown mushroom sauce and a pile of sides. I got the country/chicken friend steak with white gravy. Both were good. Sides run to the starchy side, although the salad bar tasted good. Looking for forward to going back, maybe on the weekend when they have a little different selection. Also good ice cream and cake included on buffet. We only got the one meat version of the buffet, but whole meal for both of us with drinks and taxes was just over $25.00

Food selection on the buffet is limited ( 3 meats). Food is bland. Desert was cake ( dry cake )with soft serve ice cream on top. However this place was packed with what appears to be locals of the older generation. Parking is good. This place is hiway fronted.

I wasn’t very impressed with the cramped dining room. I didn’t want to eat off of the buffet, but since everyone in my party was, I felt obligated not to keep them waiting. I had the grilled catfish which was actually quite good. I didn’t care for anything else on the lackluster buffet. A spice cake dessert cake with it. It was dry & as tasteless as the outdated decor. I suppose those who like old fashioned decor & cooking might find it quaint. The pies looked interesting, but I didn’t have the time to eat a piece. The service was pretty good.

Their burgers are usually pretty good so are the stuffed baked potatoes, I personally am not a big fan of their buffet, but many of my friends are.
