Tip: The drive-thru can be busy, but the staff is efficient. Consider adding sliced jalapeños to the Chili Burger if you like a little extra spice.

I've not been to Taco Casa in several years. Seeing this one right next to HEB, I had to revisit completely satisfied! Best taco! I'll be back
I’m a taco casa fan! I stopped at this location when I visited family. Their customer service and food were great!. The employees worked fast, the food was 10/10 and their dine in was very clean. The owner was there helping clean, greeted us and asked if our food was good. Everyone was kind and helpful. I’ll be coming back!.
Food pretty good and fresh. Affordable and better than Horrible Taco Bell. Trust me you like this place better 👌🏾💯
I LOVE this particular TC! The people here are super sweet and the restaurant is nice and clean. Their bean burritos are so so good!!!
I like the open counter area, taking the order was prompt, the food was ready quickly. There wasn't a place to add a tip on the bill (nice since it's order and pick up at the counter). There's a sign at the table that they will clean it and trash cans for cleaning your own. It's easily accessible, just watch the steep hill. While not crowded there was a steady stream of customers.
I love there super burritos. The staff is always friendly and it is very clean. We eat here once every two weeks. Before we do are grocery shopping at HEB
Drive threw tends to be really busy but overall its a great Taco Casa. Also the people that work there have all been really great.
Always enjoy grabbing a Chilada... Add some sour cream and you are set. Give it a try if you haven't.
I’ve only been to one Taco Casa in another town, and it was just alright. This visit was a pleasant surprise. The service was great and the food came fast and hot. Unlike some of the fast food taco places, Casa really filled up their tacos with meat, lettuce and cheese. I will definitely return for another meal.
Service and food was great! The atmosphere was a bit hectic as it is right off the 75 and was so busy and loud. Not their fault just know when you a a beautiful Texas trifecta of Taco Casa, H.E.B. And a Buc-ee’s all I. One spot off a major interstate there I sound to be a lot of customers dining in.
Went through drive-thru, and even though it was busy, it moved along at an acceptable pace. The employees were very pleasant and nice. My order was correct, and the food was hot, fresh, and tasted great.
The soft tacos amazing even though it was drenched and cheese delicious and the desert like chips in the past
Not ashamed to admit i stop for two taco lites pretty frequently. 😂 The Melissa Taco Casa has the quickest/most attentive service. I have never received my order wrong! Great staff, great location. Thank you TC for always making my day!!
Love this place! It was packed, but we still got refills without waiting too long.
Dude. I had no idea this place was incredible. I tend to avoid “fast food” restaurants, but I am a sucker for tacos. So I saw a line wrapped around the building for lunch which first caught my attention. Later that evening, we were late shopping at HEB and hadn’t had dinner so we decided to try it. BLEW ME AWAY. These tacos are so FULL and delicious. Sure, a little more expensive but you actually can order less because they are satiating. And the kitchen was very open and clean, the many workers were all very helpful and lively. Huge step up from the atmospheres I’ve seen in most fast food. Possibly most important of all- no issues with digestion after eating their food. Definitely cannot say the same for, again, most fast food. So I went from not knowing about this place to possibly becoming slightly obsessed in about a weeks time. We will absolutely be back. Currently the only improvement I would love to see them make is to use a healthy oil for frying the tacos such as beef tallow. I would pay a higher price for the health benefits and it would set you guys apart even more. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back! God bless y’all!!! ❤️❤️
Bomb! Puts Taco bell to shame. Good portion size. Worth the extra money. Taco lite is a must. Delicious 😋
I enjoy this location and the food very much. I mostly order from the drive-thru and order the same item each time: Chili Burger (Taco Burger). One of the best food items, with shredded cheese, to order. Feeling extra edgy—add sliced jalapeños. I will warn you ⚠️ this Burger can get messy, keep extra napkins handy 😆. Well worth it! The drive-thru does get popular during certain times of the day, but the wait is worth it. The inside of this location is nice, we'll litted, easy to read menu. This Taco Casa is located next to an HEB, small shopping center and across the street is a Buc-es.
The number of people rating this place one star because they weren’t able to open soon enough should tell you how good it is. The food is really good at great prices. The staff was super helpful, patient and nice considering they were in the midst of a people storm. I went on the first day at dinner time and it was packed! The cinnamon delights are the best $2 you will spend. The super tacos are really big…that’s why they are $4. The nachos are also massive. But more chips than toppings. Not a super fun meal for my son the nacho guy. The chillito was delish! So was the tostado and soft tacos. Not “spicy” Mexican food but spicier than Taco Bell. We got a lot of food for $40. I ate so fast after that long line that I didn’t even remember to take pictures of the food. Next time :)
Love Taco Casa. This new one was the busiest I've ever seen one of these places, but the staff were on top of it and keeping things moving. Great food, really hit the spot.

We don’t have these in Kansas City so I stop every time I spot one! This time I found it on the way to the airport… pro-tip… a meat burrito with extra cheese fit perfectly in my empty Yeti water bottle and made it through security. However they did happen to open it up out of curiosity. It got a good little chuckle out of them… Like I was smuggling a burrito. Highly recommend the meat burrito with extra cheese! Thanks! The McKinney Melissa residents had to wait a looooong time for Taco Casa to finally open its doors. Felt like an eternity but the wait was well worth it! I experienced taco casa before but it’s been years. Now that it’s 5 min from the house I’m there Way too often. Products are delicious staff is always friendly small town vibes from customers. Very easy on the budget!!! I’d rather eat here than most sit down places!!
Haven’t ate at a Taco Casa restaurant for a few years. The lady with the glasses at the register was very nice and helpful, the food was fresh. I will strongly recommend to stop and eat here.

Great customer service. Good food at a good price. They forgot part of my order, even after verifying that everything was there. I live 45 minutes away, so I wasn't going to drive back and get it. Overall, I would definitely eat there again, maybe dine in next time. The food tasted the way taco casa should.
Taco is definitely better than expected and far better than Taco Bell! Good Work keep it up! 👍

This is the first time I've gave this a negative review. It's also the first time I've had a reason to. My Husband and I always get the same thing when we eat here. The Super Taco Salad. I get mine minus the olives and tomatoes and my Husband has his minus the olives. They're usually 100 % correct & taste delicious. Not today, both of them were covered in tomatoes which was fine with my Husband but not with me. Not to be petty or anything like that but I order my food how I want it to be made for a reason. Other than that the food was quality grade as usual.
Waited in the drive-thru line for over 20 minutes and finally got our food they didn't give us our drink. Look like they were too busy to keep up
It was very busy. I meN no where to sit busy😅. Taco salad is amazing, my family loves the burritos & sweet tea
Lol, I don't get it. Food, at best, is mediocre. This place is slightly better than Taco Bell. Taco Casa, why don't you have menu prices listed on your website. I ordered a tostada and the shell was a little soft and a Supreme burrito and it was a little mushy. I will try again

Tonight I went inside asked for light sour cream got NO sour cream and asked for spicy sauce on the burritos and got no sauce. NOT COOL. It clearly said it on the receipt.
Ordered extra sour cream on all our tacos and paid $0.79 per taco. We did not receive it. I also ordered no lettuce and it came with lettuce. Receipt is correct, food was not. They even read our order back to us at the window. Tried to call the number on the receipt and an automated response says that number is not a working number.

WARNING WARNING KEEP GOING DONT STOP!! AWEFUL NASTY AND RUDE! IF YOU COULD GIVE NEGATIVE 100 OR MORE I THINK WE WOULD ALL DO IT Ok I ordered 3 items first for my granddauger I ordered a BEAN and cheese burrito no onions , kids ask if I wanted mild, med or spicy looked SHE SAID MILD. REST OF THE ORDER WAS FINE When we got order I was given a BEEF BURRITO. Ok I looked at the recept and I was charged for a BEEF BURRITO. Some man comes out of back screaming at me I ordered onions. And onions don't come on the burrito. I said it's not about the onions I ordered a been burrito. He said what do you WANT screaming at me I said I wanted a Bean and cheese burrito he grabbed the other on of mt try and THREW IT. Ok at first I didn't say anything about the cost. After he threw it I said now I want my money back for the difference. He told me no I couldn't have my money back. I have a picture of the receipt and the menu... he had the new burrito man sarcastically ask me if it was to go. Im not done with this he screamed at me in front of my Granddaughter I ordered the correct hisbig deal was onions I didn't know if the put onions on or not I just said no onions. He wouldn't listen that it was a BEEF BURRITO AND I ORDERED BEAN. SCREAMED I MEAN SCREAMED ABOUT ONIONS. I DONT CARE IF YOU DONT PUT ONIONS ON THATS GREAT I ORDERED A BEAN. BEAN NOT BEEF I wasn't going to ask for the price difference until you throw it now I want the price different place tax. Im also calling corporate to find out if this is corporate or franchise. I want this resolved 2.00 that's nothing 2 00 isnothing but the way I was treated. BTW he scr we named he was the mani found out HE IS THE OWNER. I dont expect anything to be done about this post but no one should talk to people that way it was a 2.00 bean burrito. Off to make more posts and get the number to file a formal complaint if the owner can address me this way what must he do to others this will be a formal taco casa complaint ******* Read the reviews on this place. The owner/manager of this place is down right rude! Corporate needs to go under cover to this place. ***** Stop before or after Melissa do not stop here. I have never seen anything like this guy.
Do not eat here. Went through the drive thru for first time. Person was very rude making fun of and laughing at my wife as she ordered. All we ordered was a chilada and asked if they had chips and salsa. Guy was a douche and made fun of her. Will never eat at this location again. Also they didn't give us silverware or even taco sauce.probabky the worst "taco" place I've been to
Family of 4, we order our food at the drive thru along with an ice water. We get to the window and the young lady hands us our food and a “complementary 8oz cup of ice water”. So we ask to pay for a large ice water and she says she can’t do that at the window, we would have to pull back around and order at the menu. Always delicious food but terrible customer service.
Lost me as a customer....charging an additional $.99 to add onions to a burrito is insane. Hope it's worth it to lose customers over this. Smdh
Ordered nachos tonight. All I got was chips, sour cream tomatoes and cheese! No meat! Didn’t want beans, didn’t get them any way. No sauce no jalepenos. Phone cuts off when they close. I made it home at 10:01.
They can't seem to comprehend simple orders 5 tacos and nachos. Last 3 times I've came my order has been completely wrong. Maybe they should stop worrying about discounts and start worrying about the food. Not everybody is broke and needs a discount.
Went by here at about 1025 this morning. They open at 10:00am. The drive thru was blocked so I decided to go inside. The place was full of probably 15-20 employees all eating or on their phones. They had a hand written sign on the door saying they wouldn't open until 10:30am since it was so close to 10:30 I tried waving them to the door so I could place and order. Every single person ignored or stared at me and didn't acknowledge me at all. Utterly disrespectful. Garbage food for cheap( the only reason people eat here is the quantity for the price). So to ignore a customer while eating food out of the kitchen you cook from is ridiculous.
We have been going to this location since it opened and it’s always been good. This time we noticed that they charged us for spicy sauce and onions, which has never happened in the past. They didn’t even add onion to the beans and my daughter got extra black olives and it was a normal portion. Charging .99 for onions and spicy sauce is just ridiculous. Not to mention the price of molded cheese on my taco. The people behind the counter were so careless that I didn’t even say anything. I just didn’t eat it. It was also about 65 degrees inside. We feel like this location has changed ownership so not sure we will be back. Very unfortunate!
Went there and got nachos and with 3 soft tacos. I've had gas station nachos better than these. I'm sure my dog will eat them but be like what is this trash. Tried calling the number listed on the directory and get nothing.

I just ordered at the drive through. I asked for a courtesy cup for my daughter and the lady asked me if my daughter was in the car and wanted to see. I said no she isnt in the car but ill be bringing the food to her. She went and talked to her manager and the manager said per policy child has to be present. On the menu online and at the drive through says “paid by paid adult or with an adult order. I swear staff be making up their own rules. Didnt know every time I order for my daughter she has to be present in the car. Smh
Food is okay SOMETIMES but hospitality sucks. I ordered a nacho and it was FULL of sour cream and beans I didn’t want. I came back and asked for it to be remade without any of those (full nacho- untouched) and was told they couldn’t without a receipt. Mind you, I didn’t even get a receipt from drive thru. The cashier guy was just rude and unpleasant all around (kind of short, hair behind the ear. NOT the taller, Caucasian, glasses- he was actually trying to be pleasant). Robert, the GM, not sure what type of service but definitely a ZERO start for customer service.
I visited Taco Casa recently and had quite a frustrating experience. I placed an order for three tacos with onions and one taco without sour cream, as well as two super burritos without sour cream. While I was waiting in the drive-through lane, I reached the window and decided to change one taco to include sour cream. However, to my disappointment, the staff informed me that it was too late to make any changes because my order had already been prepared. I asked for clarification, and they explained that the food was already made, which left me feeling quite frustrated. I decided to go inside the restaurant to reorder my meal from scratch. Unfortunately, when I placed my order again, I was met with poor service. The individual in the kitchen carelessly crushed my tacos and slapped them together in a way that was utterly unappetizing. This experience really soured my visit, and I left feeling upset and dissatisfied. I can’t help but think that the staff showed a lack of care and attentiveness. In the end, I would strongly advise against visiting this Taco Casa location. Overall, it was an incredibly disappointing experience, and I don’t believe I’ll be returning.
They were absolutely slammed with customers. They left out 2 chili burgers. I asked for no suace on one burrito and spicy on the rest. They didn't put sauce on any. Worst taco casa experience ever!
Been going to taco casa and ordering the same thing for probably 20 years. Got told after payment was taken that they don’t do things on the side as I just got last week at the location back home. Other locations charge but I’ve never been told it just flat isn’t an option and never had been. It would have been one thing to know this before paying and having time to reconsider my order but to take payment the tell me. Then when I request a refund to be told (out of your convenience I’d be willing to bet) it was now possible to do what I’d already paid for tells me it wasn’t impossible to begin with. If you’re looking at google reviews to decide on taco casa or not, give another location a chance. Back home they’re very customer forward and even more plugged in to the local community and support a lot of good causes.
I ordered a super tostada with onions. They charged me 90 cents for the onions, but didn't give me any sour cream, which is supposed to be included. I keep trying to call them to report it and either no one answers the phone, or I get a recording saying the number isn't in service (so odd). In this age of inflated prices and lacking customer service, I find this unacceptable all the way around. How can they mess up an order with one item, upcharge you for onions, then not be available by phone to report it?
I went to this location and ordered 2 soft tacos, one with cheese and one without, I also ordered 2 meat burritos, one with cheese and one without. I ordered 2 super tacos totaling $9.00 combined and a super burrito. When I got home none of the tacos or meat burritos had cheese and I was completely missing my super tacos even though I paid for them. I tried calling the location and their number isn't working. Its very frustrating to pay for things you don't receive!
