If Hollywood needed to make a movie with an authentic town bar, they would film it here. It's been in operation since 1946, is the quintessential town bar, and is an amazing gem in Mendon. I was there with a buddy of mine for the first time and the bartender put a bottle of beer on the bar where no one was sitting. Three minutes later, a regular popped in and sat down to enjoy that beer. I knew then and there this place was legit.
It's a nice old-fashioned bar. Great place for a drink and conversation.
Nothing fancy, but friendly and fun!! Prices are very reasonable, too!

My friend Tom ordered a Genesee cream Ale Bach. I had never heard of Bach. It is fantastic. You could drive by this large stone parking lot and miss the sign that says tavern. We sat outside and watched the bikes on the Lehigh Trail. Perfect!
