Yesterday we celebrated our 13 years anniversary at Casa Gianna. The food was a 10 out of 10. The service was amazing from the beginning to the end. Our server Mary was very attentive and detailed the dishes. Delish! Will definitely be returning again.

I sat at the bar in Miami and Milena nothing short of fabulous! She was courteous, friendly, gave great service and recommendations, an even recommended dinner choices closer to our hotel which was a few miles away. Because of her I will come back here any time I’m in Miami! Oh and the tuna tartar was the best I’ve ever had!!

Absolutely amazing place Casa Gianna in downtown Miami the Italian food is excellent. The spicy rigatoni is a must-try! 🍝 Bartender Michael makes the best sangria in Miami, hands down. Don’t miss their Happy Hour (Monday to Friday, 4–7 PM) they’ve got great specials on meatballs, pizzas, oysters, Moscow mules, and margaritas. And for my girlies Prosecco for just $9 in the heart of downtown? That’s a total steal!

It’s a very nice Italian restaurant in the heart of Downtown Miami. The food was good, also the atmosphere was good; very calm, no loud music and the service was good as well; the waitress had a lot of knowledge of the menu and recommended some dishes. The cocktails were good. There’s outdoors area in this restaurant. The parking might be difficult.

Our server Gaga made spectacular meal and cocktail recommendations! Her attitude was kind patient but efficient. Each course arrived at the perfect temperature. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. I loved that it wasn't crowded and noisey. It was chill till around 7pm.

Casa Gianna in Miami is a charming spot offering authentic Italian flavors with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The pasta is fresh, the sauces rich, and the service attentive. Perfect for a cozy dinner or special occasion. A true hidden gem that delivers tradition and taste in every bite.

Casa Gianna – A Night of Warmth, Grace, and Missed Culinary Potential We dined at Casa Gianna last night, and the warmth of the space was beautifully matched by Mary’s exceptional service. Her attentiveness, kindness, and professionalism elevated the entire evening—she is the kind of host who turns a meal into a memory. However, the culinary execution did not fully honor the promise of the setting. The charcuterie board, expected to highlight Italian craftsmanship, instead featured French brie and cheeses that felt generic. This choice may unintentionally suggest cost-cutting, which risks diminishing the restaurant’s identity and the expectations of guests seeking authenticity. The “sobe fish,” priced at $52, arrived significantly overcooked. While I chose not to raise the issue at the table to preserve the joy of our gathering, it was disappointing to receive a dish with such minimal elaboration at a premium price point. Casa Gianna has the potential to be extraordinary. With Mary’s grace as its foundation, a renewed commitment to culinary excellence and ingredient integrity could make every visit unforgettable.

Every aspect of the dining experience was elevated. From the beautifully designed restaurant with a huge feature bar that opens to the outdoor dining. The starters were perfect. Our table was a large outing so we got to try everything. My main dish was the Fagotelli which had short rib filling and was exquisite. The desserts were amazing as well. All of the staff from the hostess, servers, bartenders and the line (including the chef who greeted us) were fabulous hosts and helpful with our choices.

We celebrated my mother’s birthday at Casa Gianna, and the experience was truly wonderful. From the very beginning, the staff treated my mom with so much warmth, making her day feel extra special. My aunt, who has a seafood allergy, was also very well taken care of—everything was adjusted to her needs without any issue, which we appreciated a lot. Our server, Gaga, was absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire evening. The service and atmosphere made it a memorable celebration, and I would definitely recommend Casa Gianna for anyone looking for great food and excellent hospitality.

So glad we came across this place on our way to a comedy show. The service was as excellent and prompt. Our server suggested this incredible lobster pasta dish that was SO good. Perfect size for us to share after having some oysters. Great ambiance, clean, menu choices were unique yet blended as well. I will be back!

Delicious as always. Wanted a light dinner. I had the Casa Gianna pizza. I should’ve asked if I could’ve gotten half margherita because the grana padano was a bit overpowering for me. But I just dusted a little off. Still ate the whole pie. I had a mocktail that was delish. As well as the rosemary bread to start. Chefs kiss. Its so warm and soft. 10 out of 10 out of 10. Will always be back when I’m staying in downtown Miami.

This great new Italian restaurant opened 2 days ago and we happened to stumble upon it walking through our downtown neighborhood. Everyone was very welcoming and our server William treated us graciously. The short rib ravioli was delicious and the tiramisu paired with espresso martini was a great way to end the night. Very excited for this new addition to Miami World Center!

Great place for a late night dinner , the recommendation for the Colombian girl that work in the bar about the pasta was great , cocteles and the food was good , my o Lu concert was the tiramisu , is made at the house? Taste good but seems from those boxes that come ready , Beside that everything was good And the hostess take like 10 min to help me with a table , I ended sitting in the bar , I Dont regret it but , too much time outside waiting for a table

Casa Gianna is truly a hidden gem in Miami, and the standout reason to visit is the mythical watermelon. From the moment you step into this cozy, elegant restaurant, you know you’re in for something special, but nothing prepared me for the unique culinary masterpiece that is the watermelon dish. It’s not just food—it’s an experience. Perfectly seasoned, delicately charred, and bursting with flavor, the watermelon transforms into something almost otherworldly. The texture is unexpected, almost steak-like, and the combination of smoky, sweet, and savory notes is pure genius. You can tell every detail, from the preparation to the plating, is executed with care and passion.

Luis, the manager at Gale Miami Hotel & Residences, recommended the Sunday brunch to my mother and me, and we cannot thank him enough. We traveled to Miami to celebrate my birthday and my acceptance into graduate school, and Casa Gianna made it even more special! From the start, Norton Falco, the F&B Supervisor, greeted us warmly and ensured everything was perfect. He was personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. Shannel, the hostess, was welcoming and quick to seat us, always us with a smile. Our server, Raul, checked on us frequently, kept our table clear, and made sure we had everything we needed. Hassan, the bartender, was impressive to watch, pouring drinks with style and skill. The Passionfruit Vanilla Spritz and Espresso Martini Italiano were standouts, and we also enjoyed the Bellini and Red Sangria. The Sunday brunch was worth every penny. Some of our favorite dishes included the fresh crab legs, oysters, and shrimp. The omelet station had great options, and the Potatoes Aioli were a delicious side. We especially enjoyed the Cavatelli Pesto and Penne Cacio e Pepe. The Fish Puttanesca was flavorful, and the BBQ station featured grilled squash, ribeye, sausage, and chimichurri. The selection of five pizzas was impressive, with the Prosciutto and Nutella pizzas being our favorites. To finish, the macarons from the pastry display and the various gelato flavors were excellent. Casa Gianna exceeded our expectations, and we will be back next time we are in Miami. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, drinks, and service!

Casa Gianna is a true gem in Miami’s dining scene, offering an exquisite blend of authentic flavors, warm ambiance, and outstanding service. My recent visit was elevated by the incredible hospitality and expertise of their bartender, Luisa Franco. From the moment I sat at the bar, Luisa welcomed me with a genuine smile and an unparalleled knowledge of the menu. Her passion for her craft is evident in the way she takes the time to understand each guest's preferences. She recommended the house specialty cocktail, espresso martini which was a perfectly balanced mix of flavors—refreshing, yet complex, and a delightful start to the evening. Not to mention the meatballs and Diavola was amazing! Casa Gianna is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience, and Luisa Franco is a big part of why it’s so special. Her attention to detail, warmth, and ability to create a memorable dining journey are unparalleled. If you visit, do yourself a favor and sit at the bar—Luisa will take care of the rest. I recently had dinner at Casa Gianna and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The interior was aesthetically pleasing—soft lighting, tasteful decor, and good vibes. The service was outstanding. Our server was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring our drinks were never empty. As for the food, it completely lived up to its reputation. The lobster risotto was a real highlight—the lobster was cooked perfectly, and the risotto was incredibly creamy and flavorful. I also tried the lamb, which was equally impressive: tender, succulent, and beautifully seasoned. Overall, it delivered on every front—ambiance, service, and the exceptional quality of each dish. Food was good and the drinks were great, nice ambiance. My only complain here was with an expresso martini I ordered, and asked to put baileys, they charged 15 dollars extra for baileys on a 20 dollar expresso martini. I wish the server Tabitha R notified me ahead of time that adding baileys would be an up charge, but no.

Casa Gianna in Miami truly feels like the perfect escape from the city’s hustle. We started our meal with the crispiest calamari, followed by a truffle pizza that was both fragrant and indulgent, and then ended with the creamiest tiramisu I’ve ever tasted. Each dish hit the mark perfectly. The warm ambiance, good music, and welcoming staff made the experience even more memorable. Whether you’re dining with friends, family, or on a date, Casa Gianna is a spot you’ll want to return to again and again.

We flew into Miami and after a long day of traveling we decided to get a few drinks at the bar in Casa Gianna. Gabbi was truly AMAZING! She was attentive to our party of five. She had stepped away from the bar so I asked the other bartender for another Peroni, she acknowledged me, took my bottle and then completely ignored me, to the point she put her back to me. Thankfully Gabbi came back and rescued the day. I had a great conversation with her, where she is from, how she liked Miami and asked her a personal question which led to an even deeper conversation and was so enlightening. I love meeting people and hearing their stories. If you are staying at Gale Hotel & Residences I highly recommend visiting Gabbi at the bar!

Came for a quick dinner because I was in the area and this place did not disappoint! We got the burrata as a starter and penne vodka and the waygu steak with a side of broccolini (forgot to snap a picture of that) as our entree! I would recommend this spot and would visit again!

I absolutely recommend Casa Gianna. I tried it for a business lunch today; hands down recommend. Their lunch menu has a great price point considering the quality of the food and the setting. The restaurant is beautiful! Their spicy rigatoni is perfect balance of spicy! The Nutella pizza for dessert is delicious! This is a great (and most needed) addition to Downtown dining scene.

If you’re looking for a restaurant that slaps, look no further than Casa Gianna. This place isn’t just serving dinner; it’s serving an experience that punches above its weight in every way. From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with a cool vibe of modern Italian elegance with just the right touch of Miami edge. The energy is upbeat but intimate, the music is on point, and the space feels good. Now, let’s talk food, mamma mia. The handmade pastas are pure art, rich, silky, and perfectly al dente. The truffle cacio e Pepe was Insane. The Pollo allla Pargiana is a knockout. And don’t sleep on the appetizers. The tuna tartar is next-level flavor magic. The cocktail program is tight, bold, and creative without trying too hard. And the wine list? Curated like a love letter to Italy with some bold global surprises thrown in. But here’s the authentic secret sauce, the service. Mary was fantastic and the rest of the team at Casa Gianna is genuinely dialed in. They make you feel like family without the clichés, very attentive, knowledgeable, and cool. You can tell they’re proud of what they do, and it shows in every dish, every pour, every detail. Whether you’re posting up for a power dinner, date night, or just vibing out with good friends over unforgettable food, Casa Gianna delivers the goods and then some. It’s not just one of the best new spots in Downtown… It’s setting the bar.

Wonderful dinner! We stayed at the Gale and took advantage of the spot for date night and were extremely pleased. We ordered: Espresso Martini, Old Fashioned, Salmon Crudo, Tagiere Di Saluni Formaggi, Herb Crusted Lamb and Lobster Risotto. The drinks were great and did their job! My martini was made with actual espresso and the foam was amazing. The bread was amazing- we had to hold off on it for the rest! The board was fresh and the cheese was very rich. Everything paired well. The salmon was AMAZING. It was creamy, citrusy and the fish itself was perfect. My lamb chops were a perfect rare and the sides were great. My partner’s Lobster Risotto was cooked nicely, it was fresh and creamy. We went back for brunch the next day and everything was as expected- great. This is definitely a spot to try!

This was an impromptu lunch stop. I was hesitant as everyone seemed to be dressed business casual at first but that was simply a particular group dining in. We did not have a reservation, but the hostess seated us immediately. Jason, our server arrived to our table and provided great insight on dishes as well as what has been popular recently. Everything turned out to be delicious.

Casa Gianna is located in the heart of Miami Worldcenter right next to the train tracks and by the “Welcome to Miami Worldcenter” art mural. The restaurant is inside the Gale Miami Hotel & Residence. We entered through the patio area so we didn’t walk through the hotel. The ambiance on the outdoor patio is gorgeous with a spacious area filled with plenty of patio seating magical lighting, floral wall decor, heat lamps and huge umbrellas. Magical space. When you walk inside, it’s filled with warm lighting, booths & tables, tall ceilings, open kitchen concept and a nice open area. We were sat in a beautiful half round booth with plenty of space to seat 4-6 guests easy. Our server was Jason who was very chill, composed, attentive and professional. EVERYTHING WE ORDERED: • Espresso Martini Italiano $20 • Giardino Fresco (cucumber cocktail) $18 • Polipo (grilled octopus) $29 • Fagotelli (short rib filled pasta) $36 • Branzino Alla Puttanesca $46 • Roasted Orange Glaze Carrots $12 • Panna Cotta $14 • Lemon Pistachio $14 We originally ordered the Pistachio Crusted Colorado Lamb Chops but they ran out. We opted for the Pappardelle Alla Rosa De Ricotta which sounded delicious with a white truffle cream and lemon pistachio ricotta. Jason eventually came back to the table with a menu to let us know they unfortunately ran out of the Pappardelle as well. So comical at this point. Ended up getting the Fagotelli which was a super fancy pasta with a short rib filling. Crossed our fingers they wouldn’t run out of this too. Our drinks were beautifully crafted and on point. Espresso Martini foam was incredibly fluffy, drink was smooth. The Giardino Fresco cucumber cocktail was refreshing. The Polipo grilled octopus was so dang good with a nice citrus vinaigrette, loved the shaved fennel texture. The Fagotelli short rib filled pasta was rich and smooth, one was enough for me. The shaved truffle was a nice touch. Truffle anything is always a good idea. Branzino could have been better. Did not love the confit pomodoro sauce, didn’t compliment the branzino. Wish it had a light citrus sauce instead, the citrus vinaigrette from the grilled octopus dish would have been perfect for the branzino. Fish was also a bit dry, wish it was juicier and not as overcooked. For dessert, we opted for the Panna Cotta and considered the Lemon Pistachio too. Jason brought out the Panna Cotta with a candle and happy birthday chocolate sign. He also brought us the Lemon Pistachio as a complimentary extra dessert since we were eyeing this anyway. Very nice gesture. Funny enough, I really loved the flavors and textures of the Lemon Pistachio more so than the Panna Cotta. The Panna Cotta was too firm and just meh in comparison. All in all, we had a lovely dinner experience and it was a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday. Hubby did good. Loved the ambiance, service was wonderful and food & drinks were fabulous! Nice authentic Italian spot in Downtown Miami. Casa Gianna has a Happy Hour at the bar seating area only on Mon-Thu @ 4-7pm and Fri @ 4-6pm. The HH includes small bites for $9-15 and beer, wine & cocktails for $5-10.

Casa Gianni is honestly incredible. The food is amazing, the service is on point, and the whole atmosphere feels like a true upscale Italian experience. This place easily deserves 5 stars for the quality alone. But one thing really shocked me: they don’t accept Apple Pay. Super inconvenient in 2025 — I literally had to walk back to my car just to grab my wallet. Miami isn’t a third-world country, so I’m genuinely surprised a restaurant of this level doesn’t support contactless payments.

The meatballs were delicious. The pizza was ok. The free sangria drink you are given daily as a hotel guest is pretty good. Gabby was an amazing and informative server. I don’t have a picture of the burger but it was good. The pool drinks —awful and a waste of money. They check you before pool entry so your forced to eat and drink at the pool so be aware!

Bar experience: Saturday night music, romantic dim dinner lights. The restaurant is aesthetically beautiful. We had drinks at the bar. The punch was strong and the passion fruit spritz was sweet which I liked. The bartenders were attentive. There is a complementary drink of you are a hotel guess. I did not try the food.

Our stay at the hotel was enjoyable overall, but we had a very unpleasant experience with a bartender named Sasha at Casa Gianna. Her attitude was highly undesirable, especially when we presented the drink tickets provided by the hotel. Additionally, her interactions with other staff members were tense and unprofessional, which made us feel uncomfortable. This experience detracted from an otherwise lovely stay. It would be great if management addressed this to ensure future guests have a more welcoming and positive experience at the restaurant.

Very classy restaurant in the heart of downtown. 4 stars because the food is not amazing given the price but still, the service is excellent. They took care of our gluten free reco for my 8 yrs daughter. I recommend !

Went during “Apperitiff time” , which is their happy hour and was very good with only one exception. Starting with the good. Milana was great! Super nice, friendly and good in attention to details. Their Margaritas are excellent and great beer selection. Happy hour wines are not good, however, the Nebiollo from the menu was excellent. The star of the night was the Pappardelle a la Rosa de Ricotta! stellar! The roasted brocollini were amazing as well. The big disappointment was Happy Hour pizza. It is horrible, so small (not even a kids pizza is that small). In the menu it doesnt say that it is a smaller version and for $11 (regular size is $21) it is truly an insult. pls remove the pizza’s from the happy hour menu because it was so embarrasing that I didnt take a pic. It really ruined the experience.

Food was very good overall: loved the Caesar! Service was awesome; cocktails very nicely done. Mentioned to waitress that our water glasses smelled 'fishy' (we ordered Still water, not tap). She brought us new glasses but it was same problem. Perhaps use baking soda or something in dishwasher to take away the unpleasant odor?

We’ve been there for thanksgiving day to get special meal. One of them was TG Waldorf Duck Salad. We could not eat the duck’s because we didn’t see it on the plate. Later found out these crispy pieces were duck 🫣

Gorgeous venue with elegant decor and nice service.. though we were there on Tuesday nite the place was rather empty literally just 2 other tables were occupied. Aperol was on point😎 Now food ..have to say we were all unsure of the frito mix as it looked like it was fried in very used oil. I wanted to return it but didn’t want to start off in this way. I ordered the burrata special and it was ok it really needed some sort of toast to go with it as it was rather dry. Grilled chicken was rather bland thank goodness there a lemon and honestly even the cut was not pretty to look at. It was a chunky piece of breast making it hard to enjoy. Pastas were good and chicken parmigiana, Prices are reasonable not sure if I would go back it does look like nice place for brunch outside so might give it another chance.

I’m gluten-free so when the waitress came over, I asked if they had a gluten-free menu. They don’t. I asked her if the tuna tartar was gluten-free or if she was aware it was gluten-free typically it is at most places. So the chef or somebody came over and spoke with me. I asked if the tuna tartar was gluten-free they indicated yes I was like fantastic. I’ll have that and then when they served it, they put two thin crispy white bread baguettes on top of the tuna tart. Hopefully no crumbs came off of that because I did just remove it and ate it anyways it just seemed wasteful and then there was the possibility of cross contamination. The tuna tartare itself was absolutely amazing presented differently than anyway I had ever seen that dish previously had a lot of intricate flavors. A sweet lemony flavor was one of them wasn’t very large. You don’t get much for the price. Actually, it’s probably the smallest in the Tartar I’ve ever ordered. The presentation was beautiful and the flavor was good though.

Casa Gianna is an absolutely vibey & gorgeous space. The food was great and we left stuffed with leftovers which doesn't happen often. We tried a variety of items from the menu and each item was playful and interesting. The reason I'm rating lower is because the service was REALLY slow. The restaurant wasn't packed and it still took a moderate amount of time for our server to come back around. Now let me say she was great when she was actually there, but for the pricing of the food I was hoping the service would match, but it definitely didn't. Beyond that, while the food was great and filling, I just wish the items had come out a little sooner. Each item (that was meant to be served hot) came out lukewarm like it had been sitting for a while.

Food was good, and served in a timely manner. Drinks were ok, unfortunate they barely have any wine by the glass. Better for larger group who want to buy bottles. Server was kind of the bare minimum as well.

A

The food was amazing, but we were a little disappointed with the service. Missing drinks, a delay in water refill, and Parmesan cheese was brought after most of the dishes were finished. Lol

C

Update: lowering from 5 to 3 because upon going a few more times, the service has not been good. The entire team needs better training. I hope they get it together because it has a lot of potential! Learn now and make changes before you get a bad reputation. Just opened this week and had a great experience. They’re working out a few things being brand new, but food was delicious, nice presentation, and attentive service. A nice addition to the neighborhood, and will return!

Came here for brunch. They only offer buffet option now, no a la carte. You can also add bottomless drinks to your brunch. The food was ok, not spectacular. There are snow crabs and oysters, ok salad bar, fresh to order omelets. The only good part was the barbecue station, the chorizo was delicious. Deserts look good but were just ok, chocolate cake was too dry, cheesecake was good, other things were not great either. Overall, I'd say there are plenty of much better options for the money. Plus, you get charged a 20% tip even though you serve yourself

G
Gilberto R. Sacramento

$48 for a chicken sandwich and a bottle of sparkling water. The waiter tried to convince us that the 20% tip was a "service charge" and we should pay an extra tip that was just for him. Attention tourists: be careful when the waiter doesn't bring a printed bill before payment.

M
Mikael Muria-Courchesne

Service was poor, food was decent. Spicy rigatoni is not on the level of Carbone, I went here believing some of the reviews that said that, it's not true lol. Often we had to call back our server, no one came out with cheese unless we asked, certain people got their food really late and granted we were a big group it just felt like we were written off. I had asked 3 times for a takeout box and ended up having to get it myself

F
Frieda

$28 for the driest burger I’ve ever had. The “Wagyu” patty tasted like it came straight from the freezer— the bun was crusty and dry, almost like biting into sand. My friend had the pizza, which was just okay. Service was also surprisingly slow, especially considering the restaurant was nearly empty. It’s a shame because the space itself is beautiful, with a full staff and a well-designed bar. Unfortunately, the pricing doesn’t match the quality of the food or service. I won’t be rushing back

T
Timo Sprenger

The food did not disappoint. My girlfriend had the filet and I had the duck, both were excellent. Unfortunately, the service was the opposite. We were a party of 10, our server was clearly overwhelmed and openly stated she had too many tables. Dinner took over two hours, we received no water or drink refills, and eventually had to go to the bar ourselves. I asked to speak with a manager, not to complain about the staff, but to give constructive feedback. If a restaurant seats a certain number of guests, it needs the staffing to support that. This is a management issue, not a server issue. Despite multiple requests, management refused to come speak with us. The lack of accountability and professionalism is the reason I won’t be returning or recommending this restaurant, despite how good the food was.

J

If you call this food, I have bad news. I’ve never tried anything worse in Miami. I ordered takeout, and the food was just awful — over-salted, overcooked, yet somehow completely bland at the same time. The service was no better. I placed my takeout order in advance and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived 40 minutes later, just to be safe, and they had completely forgotten about my order. At the same time, there was another man who came in, waiting even longer than I did, with the same issue. The staff were running around aimlessly, solving nothing, and didn’t even offer any kind of discount or apology. After an additional 20 minutes, my order was finally ready. For the prices they charge, the quality of both the food and the service should be much better — this is not some street food stall. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

S
Shannon Pring

Not the first time I’ve been here but after yesterday, this will be my last. Had a couple friends and my partner wanting to sit down for a nice relaxing meal, and the place was half vacant, mind you at 4-5PM. A host happily sits us at our table and we end up waiting almost 20 whole minutes without any water, a waiter/waitress asking us for our orders, and just eventually got up and left our table, not that they even noticed that either. I will be sure to tell everyone I know that the service here is awful.

M
Megan Nyvold

I don’t know in what reality $10 for a double espresso is normal but I feel like I just got robbed in daylight. The espresso is fine obviously getting the job done but I’m gonna have to get a second job just to pay for this. I genuinely cannot fathom where they came up with the pricing for this place.

L
LP400

i ordered the chicken parm and returned it twice because it was undercooked (pink inside) and hard to chew. The cheese, which we asked to put on the risotto came only when we had literally one last bite. Still service came with an automatic 20% charge. Horrible, horrible experience and not the proper way to treat clients.

R
Renata Markozani

The bar and restaurant are always a bit hit-or-miss on service, but on Wednesday, we went in to grab a quick drink and bite, only to have to leave. The female bartender was downright rude to our faces. Miami service isn’t always the best, which is why I tend to be tolerant; however, this woman went out of her way to be dismissive and ignored us at the bar. We were in her face as she made drinks, and she made a point not to acknowledge us, let alone offer menus. We picked up and left for another bar down the street. Management needs to address their service because, regardless of the craft cocktails and handcrafted food, the service is what brings people coming back.

This was supposed to be our nice $98/person NYE dinner and it was anything but nice! Our reservation was for 9:30pm, we were finally sat by the hostess at 9:45(there should have definitely been more than 1, I felt sorry for her as she was running around like a chicken with its head cut off). We were brought waters at 10:10(25 minutes after being seated) only after my husband went to say something. We ordered and quickly got some bread and appetizers which we were thankful for, but we didn’t receive our meal until…wait for it…11:30!!! The waitress did bring us a glass of champagne because she saw how frustrated we were. The table next to us came after us, got drinks, appetizers and their meal and left all before we even got our meal. This will go down as the worst service experience we’ve had!

K
Kathleen Romero

Bad experience, our first time and we went to celebrate our anniversary. The place was not full, but we had to wait a while for a waiter to come, they sat us without offering us water… service was not good…it is an Italian restaurant and they don't even offer us bread to wait for the food. We had high expectations of the place because the decoration is nice, but the portions were VERY small, don't go hungry… or better yet, don't go! We ordered the Fagotelli, taste was good but it is literally 4 pieces, same with the salmon crudo… We left the place still hungry and ended up going back home to eat for real.

This was by far the WORST pasta I’ve ever had. I ordered the “spicy rigatoni alla vodka” which is my favorite dish. There was no flavor what so ever and not even the tiniest hint of spice. They should definetly reconsider the name and taking the “spicy” off. The pasta itself taste like GLUE. The waitress was very nice and informative but extremely slow and she was no where to be found pretty much the entire meal and took forever to bring us the check so we could get out of there to go eat somewhere else. I’ll never return and wouldn’t reccomend anyone dining here. This place won’t last long and it’s no wonder why the place was completely dead on a weekend which I thought was strange but now I understand.

I reserved since January to have a nice valentine date with my girlfriend and I’m impressed on how with a 20% mandatory tip because of the date I was treated so bad, first I get in and ask about some drinks that other table had and I get a dry response of “yeah they are complimentary I’ll give them to you” then I had to wait around 2 hours to get a pasta that wasn’t even what i ordered and because of this confusion I had to wait another hour, all of this time with no water being offered I had to stand up and ask a busser (btw I loved the busses best black lady ever gave her a 20$ tip because she was the only one that cared) In the end I just gave up recieved the pasta that I didn’t order and long wait Do Not recommend

Awful. Couldn’t believe it. Total failure. The service, the quality of food, even the difference between what they had and what they said they’d have. Went for brunch right off the bat, on the menu said it would have Snow Crab, Lobster, omelette station - they didn’t have of those. There was no heads up from the staff, seemed more like they legitimately didn’t know vs an outright lie. Now onto the food they DID have. They had a carving station, the meat was so dry after they brought it out, they took it right back in to throw half of it out. Pasta station, guy working it couldn’t remember orders at all, and all 3 of the sauces were awful. Best thing was the dessert table. Servers never came by to ask how things were.

I wouldn’t recommend Casa Gianna’s due to the poor service we received from our host, she took the order wrong which meant our food arrived 15 minutes apart, my wife’s food was Luke warm, my tagliatelle had no meat in it. The pizza was good, we weren’t offered parmigian cheese yet the tables around us were. Avoid this place there are much better places not too far away. I took the service charge from the bill and she was rude and walked away saying blah blah blah. I wish I had caught her name to identify her, she will know who she is from this review, you should do better.

We got the burger and the lemon ricotta pancakes. The pancakes were rated some of the best in the city. Someone lied or was paid off. There was no taste of lemon and the ricotta was served in a big lump on top of the pancakes? It wasn’t sweetened either, it was very off putting, also, there weren’t any toasted pistachios on the pancake and i’m only now noticing after reviewing the menu as i write this review. They were some of the worst pancakes i’ve had. The french fries with the burger were stale and hard to chew. The burger with caramelized onions was great just over cooked/a little burnt. Nothing about this experience warranted the $90 bill for two people for breakfast. I would not recommend.

We celebrated Valentine’s Day on February 14th at Casa Gianna, and unfortunately, our experience was not pleasant. We arrived promptly at 8:00 p.m. Our reservation was confirmed for an indoor table, not outside. However, when we arrived, we were not immediately seated. Only because another couple decided to move outdoors were we able to take their indoor table. On such an important date, reservations should be handled more carefully and respectfully. The service throughout the evening felt rushed and inattentive. Our dishes arrived cold, which significantly affected the dining experience. We also had to request Parmesan cheese for a pasta dish three separate times before it was finally brought to the table. When it was time to pay, the server automatically added a 20% gratuity without consulting us, even though we were only two guests. We asked for the detailed receipt and were told to wait; after approximately 15 minutes, it was never provided. Fortunately, we were able to verify the exact charges through our credit card, but the lack of transparency was concerning. We understand that Valentine’s Day is a very busy occasion for restaurants in Miami. However, that is precisely why adequate staffing and organization are essential to ensure guests receive the level of service expected for a special celebration. The food may be good, but when the service is poor, the overall experience suffers. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant for special occasions such as Valentine’s Day. There are many other establishments in Miami that offer a more professional and attentive experience.
